Pani Agua - Fresh Seafood and Puerto Rican Food in San Juan

We have absolutely loved the place! It is so beautiful and the vibe was amazing. Zoe is lovely! We loved her positive energy and attitude. You have to try Zoe’s mojitos! The hookah Caribbean breeze mix I believe was great. Definitely would go again for a nice relaxing vibe.

The food was amazinggggg! The curry shrimp was sooo flavorful and I love Spicy food but it wasn’t too spicy at all. The mojitos were just right! Zoey and Kate were great hostess and waitresses made us feel very welcomed and gave great service!

Mercedes was amazing! My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. The food, hookah and music was great! Good vibes to start our honeymoon. We’ll be back to see Mercedes before our honeymoon ends. Definitely recommend this place. When you visit ask for Mercedes! Wish I could give 10 stars.

I traveled from Boston dying toCome here. All my friends who have visited RAVE about the amazing hookah. I personally LOVE Zoe’s attention. As soon as we walked in she greeted us with a warm smile and invited us in immediately. Amazing service - I will recommend everyone should come here for a five star hookah and cocktail experience!

Amazing hookah and drink spot. The hookahs are great quality and the flavors are fresh. The drinks are really good. Naomi makes the best mojitos I’ve tried and Zoe is super charismatic and friendly. Over all 10/10.

We were looking for a chill hookah spot with food and came across this place. The location was perfect, vibes were great & service was amazing!!! Plus it’s woman-owned (probably why it’s so good!Sarah & Kay served us and they were super nice & even gave us some good local recs for the rest of our trip. Def recommend if you’re in the area!

This place is amazing drinks beyond excceptional, if your lucky you will get the server sara she both very informative and the custome service is amazing. All in all great drinks food and hookah would reccomend to all visitors

The place had a great aesthetic. Great for date nights. I would definitely recommend the açaí-pineapple mojito, but they have so many flavors to choose from. Sarah and Kay helped us throughout the night and provided excellent service.

Been here many times during our stay. Multiple hookahs that use coco coals (only ones that we foundbest tasting hookah flavors and the food from fries, ribeye skewers, curry shrimp and different flavors of mojitos have been excellent!! Thank you to the workers tay, Sara, Mercedes and all the others that we have dealt with here. Thank you all!!

They use coconut coals with their hookahs which means it takes a little longer, but they bring the most flavor out of them. Tay, Sara, Mercedes, and all the servers were top notch during our stay. Food is some of the best in the area right down to the fries. Highly recommend to anyone visiting at least once.

Delicious🤤 Awesome, beautiful vibes. The hookah has great flavor and the drinks are made to perfection. Tay was the best server. Very social and attentive. This part of town deserves more credit for what they offer. Go to old San Juan and spend a dope evening at Pani Agua. Coconut shrimp was *chefs kiss*

Don’t think just go here ! Love it ! As soon as we came in the bartender Tai gave us a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable… she recommended a watermelon drink and i was blown away ! The hookah is definitely the best in San Juan and trust I’ve been to many. Key was also great at communication and recommending local spots in the area. Love the vibes the music the food was great too … definitely my go to spot in Old San Juan

OMG!!!!! They are amazing! We had an amazing experience! Kate the owner remembered us from April and when came today they remembered us and were so accommodating. Sarah and Mercedes were the best hostess to a group of over 25. And not to mention Tay was also great and attentive on her first day working here. The bathroom was super clean. We ordered green drinks and they taste amazing. The bartender is very friendly and attentive. I would say is a 10/10.

Soooo good! Im a big hookah lover and this is hands down the BEST hookah in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷! Sara and Ale were soooo nice! The service was wonderful and the drinks...wow. I had a lavender mojito which was delightful. And the lamb chops and coconut shrimp were to die for! Not enough words to describe how great this place is...im in such a happy place being here. Thank you! This is a treasure trove on the island and is fabulous.

Sara and Alejandra are AMAZING! Great food and great vibes. They were very friendly and made our traveling experience so much better. Sara went above and beyond to help and we enjoyed our drinks and hookah so much we didnt want to leave. I will definitely recommend this place to any tourist or locals for sure!

Kay and John were amazing…. We had been looking for something real chill on our last night! And they welcomed us with open opens. They were playing the jams in there and the food was amazing they recommended the lamb chops and they did not disappoint.the hookah was made with loveeeeee. We were visiting from dc!!! My boyfriend and i were so sad that the hookah place we originally wanted to go to was closed but we called pani agua and luckily they were open! And thank god they were! Zoey was so amazing! She definitely made our night and we will definitely be coming back here before our trip is over. She is just the sweetest person with the best customer service!! All the staff was great! And the chicken skewers are TO DIE FOR!!!! And the hookah was also so great!! Highly recommend ❤️❤️

The vibe at Pani Agua was perfect for what my wife and I was looking for!! We wanted to smoke hookah and have drinks. When we walked the music was already setting the tone for the vibe we was looking for! Zoe made the best mojitos, with fresh ingredients! I eventually ordered lamb chops that BLEW MY MIND!!!! They are absolutely delicious. Zoe’s hospitality was also top tier! Those place is a most visit!!!!!

The mojitos and the hookah were both really great. Our server was great, too. The food was a bit disappointing depending on what you ordered. My friend had this avocado dish which was delicious and so were the fries and my coconut shrimp but the octopus tail was not good at all. The food is overpriced but overall experience was great. I would come back and recommend this.

Came here with my husband and it was actually amazing. You do need to be vaccinated or have a negative covid test to enter and wear our mask until we sat down but it wasn’t unreasonable.Atmosphere was really nice. We loved the lights and the music was great. We got two hookahs and loved how affordable and how upscale this place was.Veronica was so attentive to the hookahs. Drinks were great, our bartender Alejandra did an awesome job especially since my husband is so picky with his drinks.Now the food came out very quickly and tasted really great. We got the chicken wings, sliders and breaded shrimp. Everything was well seasoned.Honestly this wasn’t our first time here in PR but this is going to be our stop everytime we come by.

AWSOME FOOD AND HOOKAH! Ive walked by a million times and somehow didnt stop in. Maybe because its right next to Marshalls and the market, but this place should be on your list for Old San Juan. This place is truly unassuming but it will surpass your expectations. They are revamping the menu now with the addition of a new talented chef. Expect traditional Puerto Rican food along with some of the "healthier" stateside options, to include even vegan options.The hookah is outstanding. Great quality and value. There is seating both inside and out. Cold AC for the summer days.Now the best part; the cocktails are awesome. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. Try the passion fruit mojito, good luck stopping at one!

BEST TROPICAL COCKTAILS AND HOOKAH! There is a full bar with some whiskey and scotch too, but the cocktails are fresh. The passion fruit mojito was incredible, but then again there were several others. I lost count. The place must have really good ventilation too, because most tables have hookah, but the smoke somehow doesnt build up. I didnt eat, but everyone loved the food. Service was personal. The wait time for a drink is a little longer, but when you see the time put into the drinks it is worth the wait. After you have a couple time slows down anyway

This was an unexpected safe haven. After a long day exploring old San Juan we just wanted to eat local Puerto Rican food before returning to the resort. We stood outside three different restaurants before giving up and going to find a taxi to take us home. While walking, we came upon Pani Agua and decided to go in and give it a try. Apparently this is a hookah bar, but they also serve great food and drinks too. We were immediately greeted by a woman who spoke perfect English. This was such a relief after fumbling over my broken Spanish all day. She treated us well and fed us great food. We left happy with the experience, and went home to the resort for the night. I never got her name, but she was running the place alone while we were there, and she was very helpful.
