Description
Privilege
Absolutely amazing place. Had an immediate warm, cozy, and cultured feel right when walking in. The staff was very nice, helpful, and quick . And the FOOD 😍 Our BEST meal in Florence. From the mushroom risotto to the steaks everything was amazing. Steak was well seasoned and gave a true Florentine culture vibe- do not skip! Can’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be making this a stop on our next visit.
MoreWhat an unbelievable experience. The food (macaroni and meat sauce, veal, cheesecake, ?vitoli red winewas heavenly. The servers were a joy. Hands down one of the best dining experiences of my life. Cannot rate this place highly enough
MoreCame here for dinner during our Italian honeymoon. Simply amazing. The food (veal, macoroni, cheesecakewas unbelievable. The staff were so friendly. At the end, we were drinking with the waitress and another couple on honeymoon. My wife loved this place!!!
MoreOur group of 8 had dinner here last night. Shayla was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, accommodating, and just awesome to be around. Everyone enjoyed their meals and while the food was great, Shayla truly made it an amazing experience.Shayla, grazie per tutta la birra! 😁
MoreThis restaurant was suggested from a friend who eats here every time they have visited Florence and it did not disappoint! Very homestyle cooking with friendly staff and owners.Try the homemade meatballs, I am still dreaming of those!
MoreGreat food and atmosphere. There was no way to wash hands as the tap was broken. Otherwise- great
MoreFood was fabulous and the service top notch!Salvatore made our night super spectacularMake a reservation and enjoy!
MoreThis was absolutely amazing! Don’t forget toMake a reservation. Everything we ordered was fantastic.
More10/10! Highly recommend! A must try. This was the very first restaurant my boyfriend and I came to when we arrived in Florence, and its a GEM. Be sure to make a reservation because they get booked up quickly. We were greeted by friendly staff that were very attentive throughout the entire evening. We ordered the burrata and melon salad. The melon was perfectly ripe and the burrata was creamy. If you add a little salt to the melon, the sweet and salty pair deliciously. We also enjoyed the eggplant flan. I recommend the potato ravioli with chianti tomatoes and basil and the sliced beef with rosemary and butter. Melt in your mouth! The homemade chocolate mousse is incredible. The best Ive ever had! Our kind waitress treated us with a taste of their homemade tiramisu. It was so light and creamy! She also offered us limoncello, and it was cold and wonderful. At the end, our waitress showed us to the back of the restaurant where they have an outdoor patio and seating. What a great place with amazing staff and memorable food. We will be back!
MoreThis place was so good I came here 7 times in 10 days. No joke. You have to try this place. The servers and owner were the sweetest people, and adjusted to our special needs. You have to try this place!!
MoreOutstanding food! Our 1st place to eat at in Florence (were staying for 1 month). Such a nice and pleasant atmosphere on the inside! The staff makes you feel welcome and taken care of.The food was - the ravioli - WOW. Just go ahead and get it! We also had the steak in butter with rosemary - SO good!EVERYTHING was delicious. Well worth the experience.
MoreBest experience in Florence, and probably all of Italy! The food and the service are amazing. They make you feel special from the moment you walk in until you finish desert. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you Pandemonio and all its staff.
MoreJust shut up. Shut your mouth right now. You think you know ravioli? You think you’ve had Ossobuco? Cannellini beans in oil? You haven’t until you’ve had this place so just be quiet and put all the food you can from this restaurant in your mouth. I can never eat Italian food in America the same again. Or at all even? I don’t know I’m still hereNow, she’s a little pricy if you get all the courses, but she’s worth it.Just…..get a reservation and eat it. I promise you won’t be mad
MoreGreat atmosphere, very good food, great service and charming hosts. Located in a cozy area further away from crowds. Absolutely recommend for full Firenze dining experience.
MoreAlways great to come back. Great value for money, very decent sized portions, tiramisu is amazing - the best in all of Florence (of the many I tried), and don’t even get me started on the Limoncello…. You have to experience this restaurant for yourself!
MoreAbsolutely fantastic experience. We sat at the back which is a great comfortable open area. The service was far beyond excellent despite the place was packed (Seyla especially was so funny yet efficient and switched on). The food was on time and cooked to perfection. Had Bistecca and a few sides and cleared our plates off. The house wine and deserts were great too.
MoreExquisite food in a rather understated setting. Every flavour was clearly well thought out and carefully considered, which led to a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
MoreThe best dish I have ever tasted in Italy (beef with mushroomwith a beautiful seating in the garden and a wonderful waiter (Shaila). Just simply Magnificent!
MoreI fell in love with this place; the food and staff were amazing. I think this was probably the best stake I ever ate. The owner and other staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
MoreHighly recommended! Very nice place with welcoming personnel. Hostess helps all possible ways including kids options which are not on the menu. Bistecca alla fiorentina is of a must! Book in advance, seems very few chances for a last minute call.
MoreThe food was so good. I had the beef cheeks stew. Amazing flavor, so tender. Its a fun hangout off the beaten path.
MoreI cant express how delicious and memorable the food was here. We didnt have reservations so we waited an hour and half to be seated. It was worth it. We had the Steak and omg I cannot stop thinking about how delicious it was. They take your order without asking you how do you want it cooked because theres only one way to cook it, their way. Delicious! We ordered tomato soup, tripe stew, and pasta. It was delicious and were so happy with our meal.
MoreBest Italian food Ive had in Florence. Bread served was warm, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Food came quickly. Tortellini was delicious
MoreThe Food was good but the service was too long. There are 2 waiters and still we were waiting all the time
MoreWe had dinner at this restaurant and every dish was delicious. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The staff spoke in English and the menu was also in English. The Ravioli with spinach was very buttery and tasty. The steak, white beans side and the tiramisu was also some of the best food we ate in Florence. The staff recommended us a very good sangiovese and merlot blend wine which paired very well with the steak. Overall a wonderful place for dinner!
MoreSome of the best food I have ever eaten, totally worth it. All of the menu items were amazing, so theres little to stress about when ordering. The house red wine was great and Ive heard the white was as well. The tiramisu and cheesecake were also amazing (I almost never get dessert in restaurants, but I do here).
MoreWith a little distance to the famous Piazza Santo Spirito, Panemonio is located in a less touristy part of Florence. This and the wonderful delicious food leads to a lot of local people spending their evenings at this place. The food is excellent (we had the Bistecca Fiorentina and a Tiramisu as dessertand the great service makes the visit to Pandemonio a gorgeous experience. This place is a total recommendation since the food is excellent and the prices are very good compared to all the tourist traps on the other side of the river.
MoreLovely restaurant, not too many tourists and great food, the rabbit was the best piece of rabbit meat I ever had.The location is cosy and the service was great. The time on google says it closes at 10 pm, thats when we arrived and we were there untill 12 on a monday, so also great for some late night dinner.
MoreWould give this restaurant more stars if I could! We thought that nothing could top the risotto and then the bistecca alla fiorentina came and blew us away. The restaurant was off the beaten path but well worth the journey. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Cannot emphasize enough how incredible the meal and experience was!
MoreThis special spot has been my very favorite place to eat after traveling all across Europe. Not only is the food incredible and authentic, but if you dine at Pandemonio, you feel like family. I have come back multiple times luckily, and every time is somehow better than before. The owner and a waiter, both named Bobo, are so fun to speak with and make sure you are taken care of while dining. Everyone cheers together as you snack. I recommend the Tagliatelle with Mamma Sauce or the Risotto with Scampi cream. Their selection and presentation of steaks is phenomenal too. Such a special place that I will never forget. Please, if you can, visit this lovely restaurant. Truly unforgettable.
MoreYES. Everything about this place. The steak (which our waiter took me back to the kitchen to choose), the wine, the atmosphere. It’s just soooo everything we love about Italy, and Florence in particular. It was rather dark and I was having such a good time that I didn’t even think to document but everything we consumed was amazing!!!
MoreOne of the best memories I take from Florence is this place. The team is wonderful, I went for a friends birthday, and when the desserts arrived, they turned off the lights and they sang happy birthday to her without anyone asking. It was an incredible detail. I also have to highlight the flavor of Fiorentina. The taste of his steak haunts me still in my dreams. I dont know if the best in town, but I would go back a thousand times to eat it.
MoreVery delicious food, specially big steak with wine manager recommended was good match. So I have to open my wallet for his suggestion. Finally we re-order same combination again, big T-bone(over 1kgand red wine. I will visit again with my colleague very soon.
MoreWe went once and we are already looking forward to go back. Our bistecca night was amazing, the staff was always here for us, the other dishes are also great and very Tuscan. We have tried some many similar places in Florence and this one stands out the most for us It’s better to book one or 2 days in advance.Go eat there!
MoreGreat great local fare. This is, in many ways, the quintessential tuscan resto. Classic food, done Just Right, with excellent ingredients, and a deep attention to service.Yes you can get a bistecca fiorentina here - as with most places in Firenze - but youd be wrong to avoid it (its genuinely amazeballs!).That said, the pastas are incredible, the wine-list is extraordinary, and the staff is friendly to a fault, endlessly willing to help.Best of all, if you are in a large group, theyll happily serve you family style (take advantage of it!)If youre in the hood, go!
MoreWe had an excellent lunch here after visiting the Massacios at the nearby church of Santa Maria del Carmine. It is a home style restaurant with excellent food. Very good value. I had rabbit and my wife aubergine. Wine by the glass was 3 euro, but they didn’t charge.
MoreBest food in town, period. It was so good that we visited twice during our 4 day stay in Firenze, MUST GO!Strongly recommend dishes;- Eggplant with cheese and meat sauce- Shrimp risotto- the steak- Dolce (tiramisu and cheese cake)Approx 100-200 euro for 2adults and 2kids. It is not cheap but the quality they serve will deserve this level. Staffs are friendly and polite, and familiar with foureignors.Reservation is a must. Most of the table are filled.
MoreWe came here for our honeymoon and it was worth the trip. The food was INCREDIBLE. The wine recommended was perfect! Incredibly great service and the atmosphere was perfect. They had a little terrace in the back of the restaurant. We’d highly recommend getting reservations. If we’re back in Florence again, we’d be back for sure.We had a steak cooked rare and a pasta (I forget the names on the menu). It was plenty! The portions were filling. We wished we had space to try everything. Also, it was reasonably priced for what you get.
MoreDuring our week long stay in Florence we experienced many restaurants, but this one stood out as our favourite by far! Food, wine and service were all excellent. We recommend this place if you want to experience the authentic Tuscan dinner at its finest.
MoreAwesome spot. Delicious food. Must have a reservation ahead of time or you probably won’t be able to sneak in. Great wine selection.
MoreGorgeous restaurant with the most wonderful food and great staff. The sformato di melanzane melts in your mouth, the pasta filled with ricotta is beautiful, the risotto alla crema di scampi is delicious, and the amazing tiramisu at the end is the crown of an evening of a super pleasant decadence. The only problem is that it sets the bar too high for other restaurants, especially the tiramisu - every time you order one, you will be dreaming of the one at Pandemoniums!Photos: the melanzane, risotto and tiramisu
MoreThe food was very good and the waiters that served us were very kind and caring, but the overall experience we had wasn’t the greatest and the prices were clearly widely pumped up for New Year’s eve. Usually the Pandemionio mixed antipasto is €5 (checked on The Fork app were I booked frombut we paid €18! The most shocking prices were €5 for a small 300cl can of Coca Cola, and €3 for a bag of Twinings’ tea and some hot water. We booked the table weeks in advance for the dinner of the 31st of December, after confirming the reservation the restaurant emailed me back again a week before the event asking to re-confirm my stay or they would have cancelled my reservation, fortunately I checked my personal email by chance just in time.We arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes in advance, the place was all reserved but still empty. Our tabe was in the most uncomfortable position, right in front of the main entrance with all the people passing by hitting on our chairs and the cold getting in from the main door. When we asked to be relocated they said it was impossible because the place was fully booked, even though there was nobody there at that moment. After a little bit more of awkward discussion they finally gave us a better table.I am sure the place is nice over off-peak periods (if there are any in Florence), but I do not recommend it for big events.
MoreVery popular restaurant - MAKE SURE TO MAKE A RESERVATION. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly.Make sure to try the Florentine Steak!!!
MoreThe menu changes everyday, and is in Italian. We had a hard time translating the menu but the staff was very dedicated to translate every single thing on the menu for us! Absolutely loved the service and the food was so good. Will come again when I have another chance to visit Florence. ☺️
MoreOne of the best meals in Florence. Recommend the rabbit, osso buco and zucchini fritto. Outstanding service and perfect ambiance. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in Florence. Good for romance or dinner with family/friends.
MoreOne of the best steaks I had and amazing homemade cheesecake. Celebrated my boyfriends birthday and they really made it special with a sparkler and everyone singing happy birthday to him. Yummy shot of limoncello at the end too.
MoreAmazing original Italian food. Very traditional and tastes great even for an African.
MoreBeautiful family run business. The Mum is definitely still in charge of proceedings. Great value and super tasty food!
MoreExcellent floretine steak cooked as the chef suggests.... rare. The ravioli was unique and delicious as well as the rabbit.
MoreAbsolutely fantastic food, hospitality and atmosphere! The food experience was so amazing that we immediately booked a table for following night! (Update: second night was also amazing)Lovely and kind staff, the highlight is definitely mamma Giovanna! She is so kind, and lovely! She welcomes all guests personally. For the food, we shared a florentine steak, with salad for the main course and a Tiramisu for dessert! Fantastic! Strongly recommended if you care about quality of food and service and want to have one of the bests...
