Panda Express in Muncie

They were out of almost everything over an hour before closing. Food was only meh, and I love Panda Express.

Food had a bad taste, normally it’s not bad.

I am sorry but the food and drinks not good .

This place was great to eat at while we waited on our oil change at Walmart they have some good food for reasonable prices we will be going back.

Order chicken teriyaki. Chicken was extremely dry and certainly lacking in sauce

Great lunch at Panda Express in Muncie, IN next to Walmart before hitting the road back to Indianapolis. Panda always provides quick, delicious meals at an economical price.

If you want them to not open on time, be only drive through, not have random rotating food choices and listen to everything personal and personnel relate as the staff talks loudly and publicly about it this is your place. Not a good example of a Panda Express.

Their menu is so limited that we could not even get the food we usually do and had to go elsewhere

Friendly staff, drive thru moved very slow. Food was good, and generous portion sizes. We tried the teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and kung pao. All were good. They dont offer most of my favorite Chinese entrees. Limited selection.

Its ok. But they never have Honey Sesame Chicken, its always gone.

Got a bigger plate, as everyone else fills them completely full, I only got mine half full with little servings. Definitely not worth what I paid for

I always like Panda Express. Every time I go, the food is fresh, & my favorites are orange chicken & Angus steak; even though its cooked well done, its always tender

Panda was enjoyable before COVID. Large portions... Post-COVID, its small to-go cartons (instead of platesand smaller portions.

It was good, the rice was little dry, not enough liquid for your rice. The rice get hard when you try to reheat

Staff are nice and friendly. Prices good. Portions are huge. Taste is excellent.

I ordered online, got my confirmation email at 5:49pm. I had it set for a 6:30pm pick up. They had 41 minutes. I got there, gave my name, and they started my order at 6:45pm. The people who came in after me and ordered through the line got their food before I did. Ive worked in food service, both fast food and sit down, for over 4 combined years. This was unacceptable. Have a 6:30pm pick up? Start BEFORE 6:30pm. Duh.

I love this place the food is extra fresh and hot always. Its the cleanest one I have been to and I travel allot, the staff are very respectable and care about the service they provide. I see allot of negative reviews on the drive thru. However I just always go inside. My daughters favorite spot to eat also.

I would give zero stars if possible. They didnt even give us half the food we ordered and charged for the full order. Got a refund and went elsewhere. This place is a rip off. Ill never be back.

A consistent meal, upcharges on certain dishes , I was informed when ordering portions are good no sweet tea as the machine was broken. Friendly service establishment was clean. I would return.

Panda is consistent. This one was the same. They were doing pretty good business for late lunches and a lot of the entree options were fresh. Iced tea machine was broken, which was disappointing.

They actually had everything we wanted today. The food was good. The "kid" cleaning the dining room needs to be retrained though. He pushed the trashed down with a towel in his hands. Then wiped the counter and the tables with the same towel.

Extremely rude staff. Worker named "Bre" running the drive through kept talking over me, cutting me off and rushing me through my order, when I asked that she please hold on a minute she said "thanks for being RUDE" when I simply asked for a minute to look at the menu. Then after I payed for my food Im told there will be a wait on Chow mein. So I was rushed through my order and was insulted, just to wait for 25 minutes for chow mein. Absolutely ridiculous and Bre I hope you learn better customer service or maybe reconsider your career 🤷‍♀️

Love the food, WHEN they have it. Girl on speaker was sarcastic and messed our order up. Then we get to the window and the girl continued to interrupt me. I finally said, nevermind, I will just go get food somewhere else for me. She shut the window very quickly and rudely. I will wait until I am in another town to get Panda Express next time.

When its an hour and a half before you close, you undercut 2 customers, refuse to make more than whats on the line and then get rude when they say something, there might be a problem. Just saying, higher employees that want to work.

No straws even though they’re right near a Walmart and could easily buy some. Not a lot of fun buying food + drink for a car ride & finding out they don’t have straws. Also, they were out of sesame chicken & they messed up my order. If you’re craving Panda Express I’d recommend you don’t ask for anything custom on the drive through. Keep it simple because otherwise they’ll make a mistake!

This Panda is A+! Service is pretty fast. Love their outdoor seating. Go inside it is faster than the drive thru. Location is terrible but they make it work!

Kung pow chicken had 23 pepper pods in it! It was spicey. Tasted burnt.

How was my trip to Panda Express?....OMG the food is AMAZING! I live Panda Express and its my go to when I cant decide what I want. They give generous portions of entree and sides, 1 order could be enough for 2 meals. I got Orange chicken. Sesame chicken, fried rice and chow mein. It was so good. Oh I also got veggie spring rolls with sweet & sour sauce and st $1.50 for 2 its a great deal. They are awesome! I have eaten here several times and the food has never been bad! To me that says a lot, some places its only good depending who is cooking. At Panda Express the food has always been consistent. I Highly recommend

I work for doordash and I have eaten here. There is no way they should have a drive thru. They need to make too many items and it takes incredibly long. This isn’t a "fast food” restaurant. And then after that wait you are rewarded with McDonald’s quality Chinese food. My advice? Get takeout. Ten times quicker. I deliver for China express all the time and it literally takes me no less than five minutes to get my food. At this place it can be thirty minutes to an hour before the customer even gets their food when I am delivering.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. There’s literally NEVER enough people working, I even order ahead online and still have to wait at least thirty minutes on my food every time. I also drive for Doordash and they really take forever on Doordash orders, which hurts my reviews and tips. Jesus Christ, it’s literally in a college town, just hire more people

Waited 30minutes in drive through to be told when it’s our turn 20 minutes wait on veggies. They were also out of honey walnut shrimp and was told that would be an even longer wait. We asked to speak to manager and was told no manager on duty. So we asked for corporates number to be told we can’t give that out. Mind you they are out of food and the drive through line was backed up all the way out to Main Street. We were given an attitude of oh well we are short handed. So after our 20 minutes drive to panda and an additional 30 minutes in drive through we left with no food. This happened last time and thought we would give it another chance. We won’t be back, horrible wait times, inconsistent food, nothing ever in stock and rude staff

Very long lines at both drive thru and inside ordering. I went inside so I can see what looked fresh. I had too many bad experiences of getting "scraps" (more sauce than substance or bottom of the barrel left overwhen using drive thru. I ordered 3 items, Black pepper angus beef, Kung Pao chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. Food is overpriced by the one mediocre scoop. Food tasted good but barely warm when I got home. Mgmt needs to hire more help and training during busier hours.

If you go, just stick to the drive thru! Their focus is on getting the drive thru orders filled and out. There was one person working the carry-out/mobile orders. I walked-in with 3 people ahead of me (one a mobile pick upand left after 20-25 minutes with one gentleman still ahead of me and multiple of us in line. Mobile orders started showing up and were given priority over customers waiting who were previously there. The manager did not attempt to help the carry-out line. It was just a very poor experience all around. Just stick to the drive thru for a better experience and customer service.

The food is great, but the service is horrible, they never have Tyriaky chicken ready always telling people in the drive true to wait in the other side. 《Solution》: just cook a lot of chicken ahead of time be ready for your rushes!

5:00 on a Wednesday and Ive been here for 45 min waiting for my order. 2 girls working very hard at the counter and only one cook in the back while three others walk around and crack jokes......

The food used to be great but now it always leaves something to be desired. Its often overcooked, and sometimes just tastes worse seemingly for no reason. And in my last 3 visits they were out of multiple entrees. I also had to wait 10 mins on my side of chow mein only for it to be burned black on some parts and mushy everywhere else

I went in and waited about 30 minutes to get my order taken. However i dont mind, as a previous food manager, I understand their struggle. They only had 3 people working which was clearly not enough, but they were working as hard as possible. The lady apologized to me and give me a free small drink which was nice.

Its basic Chinese fast food nothing authentic not anything Id go out of my way for. Better than I expected but not great. I had orange chicken and noodles wasnt bad but authentic Chinese food way better.

The staff is always so nice and the food is great when its fresh. Worth waiting for a new batch of orange chicken if thats your thing - and the honey sesame chicken is my favorite. Perfect balance of sweet, spicy and hearty.

Let me start by saying I personally do not like their food and havent eaten here in about 3 years now. I do food deliveries through an app and Panda is on there. I had an order come in for pick up at 11:30, got there and was told it wasnt for pick up until 12:30. Employees showed me the ticket and everything, which fine whatever but my app still said 11:30 for pick up. Contacted my apps support, who said it was indeed supposed to be 11:30, but Panda said they were too busy (there were no cars in the drive thru and maybe 2 cars tops in the parking lot.and it got put on hold for over an hour without telling the customer. They dont care about the wait times and completely screwed the customer of his catering order and also they screwed me over as well, since this is how I make money during the pandemic. Overall worst experience with a restaurant Ive had.

Cancelled my order when I said I would wait for the item to cook. Asked me again if I was willing to wait that long and I said yes and he said okay have a great day. I told him I wanted my order and he came back again and said thanks have a good day..If there was a no star option, that would rate this place better.

I usually order pick up from the app when we eat here. The food is good, but it takes forever to get your order. The app said my order would be ready at a certain time, I got there a couple minutes later and it wasnt ready so they asked me to park and theyd bring it out. I parked, and got a notification that my order was ready 5 minutes later, but they didnt bring out the food for over twenty minutes. I wouldnt mind if it was every now and then, but its happened literally every time I have ever been here. Also, Panda Express needs sweet and sour pork or chicken cause its awesome.

I once left this place a 1 star review (spring/ summer 2019). I’m extremely familiar with Panda’s polices, food prep and food. After eating there several times in November/December 2019, I can say all issues have been resolved. Portions are correct, the manager was so polite and the food was made properly. It seems this location has hit its stride with friendliness and food prep. I hope it never changes. Corporate was great to work with as well. Thanks employees of Muncie Panda!

Mario rocks!!! We went in Friday night and he was very gracious and helpful! We were waiting for the magical orange chicken to be made and he made our wait much more enjoyable! He was very patient with us, too. Nicest Panda Express employee ever! Great food, too! Love their Panda Cares program where we were able to donate to Riley’s Children Hospital.

This was the first time we had ever eaten at panda Express and we plan to go again, we had a great experience, if there is something that you want to try before you get a plate of it all you have to do ask and they will give you a bite. Service was quick and accurate even with the large party we brought with us for a total of 10 people in our group. If you get the chance to eat here I would do so the food was delicious and fresh and the staff were very friendly

I have come at any time of the night many times the last 4 years of being here, its always been pretty good but tonight its awful. Went at 9 PM and the service is much slower through the drive thru, but that I expected with about an hour and a half until close I guess. Usually the food is still great this time of night. Got home and the orange chicken was not only burnt, but so dry and tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. The fried rice was burnt and bland as well and just didnt taste good at all. Very disappointed in this location after tonight and may not be returning before graduation in May.

Been here a many times and its been decent. Today I was told to pull around and wait for my food, which is no problem at all. After 10-15 minutes passed, I went in and they had forgotten about my order. I had to wait another 5 minutes for them to cook the shrimp. When I got my food, they forgot to put my rice in with my shrimp and half veggies. Not only did I wait for 20+ minutes but the rice was left out of my bowl. At least it tasted good.

My boyfriend and I went through the drive through and ordered the two entré and 1 side plate, a side of rice and two egg rolls. The entrés were barely a cup worth (suppossed to be the main mealswhile the side was over half of what we got and almost a quart of rice. The side (chow meinas we were told would take 5 min. And to go park in the parking lot and they would bring it out to us. After ten min. My boyfriend had to go in with the receipt and request our food. The egg rolls had a burnt taste along with and overall bad flavor and were soggy (we couldnt finish them). We both got iced tea and was all ice and water with almost no tea. The drinks were very lightly tinted like tea and thats all. Their website says they have smoothies and more but I asked and they do not sell smoothies. The rest of the food tastes alright but it was a waste of $20 and our time.
