Panda Express in Asheville

Food is all prepared ahead and you choose what they have on display... some containers were empty..I got orange chicken and sesame chicken and it was cold and dry..fried rice was so dry you couldnt eat it...I will never return.

They were absolutely slammed and still so professional and nice! Even to the rude, entitled customers ahead of me. I was really impressed

745pm. Closes at 930pm. They offered two entrees one being plant based and chow mein and rice asked if anymore was being cooked only orange chicken. Im from Baltimore another reason WNC should be avoided at all cost. Literally any other location would keep limited amounts filled with almost 2 hrs left open at least. I guess everyone still wishes for covid hours.

Overall very fresh food (when in stock). They seem to have problems obtaining and serving beyond orange chicken.

I have never been here where they haven’t either gotten my order wrong or have not had a menu item available.

Customer service is great. Food is good, but the chow mein and the fried rice is dry and doesnt have a lot of flavor.

No broccoli in the black pepper steak as shown in the menu photo and upon request of vegetables in said dish. Food prep needs to pay attention to food presentation and delivery.

The store looks new or really well conserved, everything was bright clean. The food as specially good (I was also really hungry). It was a nice view from woods behind the place. The location is also great and has plenty os parking space.

Top notch Panda Express in scenic Asheville. A delight to find a fast casual restaurant in Asheville that has kept their dining room not only open, but with good hours of operation, a friendly and professional staff, and offers generous portions at reasonable prices of flavorful Chinese food. Dining room was clean, decor modern, restroom in good order and plenty of parking as well as drive through service. Hard to beat that in a town where "foodies" regularly pay too much money for too little food and too little service.Thanks, Panda people!

Super accommodating and the cleanest restaurant around!

Only 2 bites of the orange chicken were edible because it was only hard fried dough with sauce on it or breaded gristle with sauce on it. The chow mein was terrible. It was greasy and nearly tasteless.

I got honey walnut shrimp and Beijing Beef which was delicious and I had the noodles and they where dry and no flavor. The fountain drink cherry Coke had no syrup.

Thought it was a bit pricey for the amount of food, plus they had run out of white steamed rice.

We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch one day. It looked like a new building and it was very clean inside. We did an app order and picked up inside and the process was easy and simple. Our food was delicious and hot.

They have no vegetable options. 0. Just waited through the drive through line and they have 0 veggie options. They are literally right across the street from a mega ingles. The manager on duty should have taken a short stroll across the road and got at least some broccoli. It would’ve take. 30 minutes max.

Was disappointed that the 2 things I was going to order were unavailable and it wouldve been 20 minutes. Staff is nice. Should have people available to clean tables.

I frequently go here and have never had a bad experience

Food was good staff service was horrible. They were rude when we walked in and when we went back to the register to buy a drink "Felix" literally said what do you want. Then the other employee acted like we were trying to get something free and said no I already gave them that before he even knew that we were buying the drink he forgot to charge us for earlier. Compared to the other panda Express we visited this was the worst experience weve ever had and will no return to this location. I dont know why we were treated so badly. I noticed them being really friendly to other people I can only guess that so nice we are a mixed race couple. I was hoping Ashville would be better.

How good the food is matters on which day/ time you go!! Often out of white rice too. But generally incredibly tasty...especially for fast food. Waaaay better than the malls.

They should do better no excuse for missing best selling items or laziness of the stuff. Very unhappy

Horrible there was hair in my food and the manager was very rude about it when I said I wanted a refund. He kept wanted to give me more noodles and was mad when I said why would I want more of something that had hair in it 🤮 Very disgusted

I usually hate panda express, but the passengers wanted to go and it ended up being really good at this location.

Eat here a few times a month. Food is always delicious. Love the large order of super greens. Especially when they make it with lots of garlic and a good even combo of kale, cabbage, and brocolli, all fresh and cooked perfectly crisp.Green bean chicken is delicious. The Beijing beef is usually also my go to but recently has been chewy and soft the last 3 times I orders it. Teriyaki chicken is tasty but hit and miss because sometimes its fatty and chewy and sometimes its not.

Ordering was a pain but the staff were patient. Be prepared for the "bowl or plate" question. The kung pao chicken and noodles were ok but incredibly salty. Im drinking tons of water 3 hours later and am still feeling effected by the sodium. The fried rice smelled like a friend from high schools sour stinky feet. He had some condition and I will never forget the smell. The only time Ive ever smelled something similar was today with the fried rice. I ate two bites and the taste lingered while I ate the chicken and noodles. My wife took one whiff and said "I told you so". She wouldnt even try it.

Great place to eat, reasonable pricing, convenient location. Took away one star because they run out of our favorites before closing.

Unfortunately doesnt have all the options in the menu being served at times. A bit disappointed since I love Panda Express normally. But that could have just been the day I went.

Love this place the staff has always been so polite my order has never been wrong the food is always fresh and very delicious the staff goes out of their way to make your experience a great one these days that hard to find just one of the reason i keep going back one happy customer here . 🙂

Finally found a restaurant in AshvillecN.C. that I can say food was GOOD!!! Although we did take out, it was fast an easy. Panda express is on point, expensive yes $26 for one plate of food we shared, but once again food was 👍

The food is really good but they are ALWAYS out of honey walnut shrimp ,,, plz god jus make some more I came 4 HOURS before closing.

Food was great, the new almond chicken breast is amazing as well as the orange chicken as always. Staff was very nice and we were able to be seated this time

You ask for Sweet and Sour sauce and they give you these two little packs...what the what..they used to give you a nice cup with a lid full of sauce...I just spent $14 and now I have to go home or stop by a store and buy sauce....forget it...get Your act together...and keep enough Rice and chow mein ready...you know most everyone is going to order one or the other..its not rocket science

Sometimes its great and sometimes not so great. I eat at this restaurant about twice a month, and I dont know what the variable is. I can only blame it on them being short staffed. I love the chicken teriyaki.

A waste of money. Drive through was the only option on my visit. Which,I should had left,but went ahead and ordered my food. Well, I WASTED 16.00. To begin with, my fried rice was just a huge wad of mush with ALOT of uncooked carrots.My, my entee was very hard overcooked pieces of hard dough. Hate that I decided to try takeout,because I ended up throwing it all.

Wow. For an asian fast food restaurant, I was very impressed with the customer service. I ordered the Beijing beef and the Angus beef with rice. The Beijing beef was delicious but the angus was a little on the cold side. I notified the manager so he could check the temperature and to make sure all was well. Later, he approached my table apologized and brought me another plate of beef. He had made a new batch and confirmed the temperature was a little on the low side. I explained that I wasnt trying to get free food and that I was only informing him of the situation but he insisted I take a new plate to replace the other. The customer service here is great, and they go above and beyond to fix any issues you as the customer may have. Great job. Thank you Trevor for your hard work and great service. I will be returning here in the future.

The quality of the food hasnt been good lately, so Im doing a review. I know the store cant help being out of product, due to Covid. The issue is the quality of the product they are serving, and theres no reason for that.

Ordered Beijing beef , and chicken , got some walnuts and two shrimp.. really ? Wasted 15 mins in drive thru and then 19 mins drive home

Open your dining room like all the other restaurants are doing now. Its not pleasant sitting in your car during the hot day to eat in a to go box. Plus charging 49 cents for water is high in my opinion.

This is a message for corporate this is the best fast food restaurant in town Asheville NC always great customer service with great smelling food when I have a rough day this is where I go the employees make it the best place in town hands down please these people show up and are perfectionist at there job. RAISE RAISE RAISE please they worked hard and deserve it no other fast food chain does this AND ARE OPEN. grateful they are there working hard love them. FAVORITE PLACE TO GO

Food is good, set up of restaurant a little confusing especially for a first timer. Servers not good at listening to requests and questions. Didnt know terriyaki was an option for a topping until paying for food. Small inside dining area. Had TVs but werent turned on. Music kind of loud for conversations. Would probably only do drive thru in future. All workers had meals on but tables not set up for social distancing. Outside dining area with umbrellas as well.

The best Panda Express Ive ever been to (& Ive been to MANY)!Every single staff member was vibrant, kind, and had warm smiles.The food was fresh and DELICIOUS.The dining area was clean and beautiful!The restrooms were also very clean and modern.The person who owns this Panda knows what theyre doing!!!

I ordered the catering deal that feeds 12 to 16 people and it was a great value. There was plenty of delicious food and the quality was top notch. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

The food was excellent but we were not allowed to eat in the dining room. Even the tables they had outside had no chairs to sit down, so we had to eat in the car. That was very disappointing as the meal would have been enjoyed even more had we been able to sit at a table and eat it.No we were not able to take it home and eat as we lived more than an hour away. This was the closest Panda Express to us.We didnt have a choice to dine in as it was all take out only. If I had known that I would not have spent that money, but waited until they allowed us to dine in.Blessings!

Don’t go at 9:10 and expect to get what you want. A crazy business model. I was always taught the last $30 of the day is just as important as the first. The quickest thing to cook on the menu a spring roll. The business is open for another 20 minutes and I can’t get a darn spring roll. I will go somewhere else in the future who wants to make some money. Here I thought businesses were hurting.

Ive not been to the Panda in years! Ive been missing out! Great place for something quick. The NICEST people here! I hope everyone enjoys as much as I did. Definitely will be back sooner than later!

If Asians come eat at Panda Express, it has to be good. Fast Chinese food at a moderate price. Always fresh food... guaranteed. I strongly recommend. 😎

Unlike a lot of these other reviews, I had an exceptional experience today as my first time trying Panda Express. I was greeted with a smile by the lady at the buffet line and I told her it was my first time. She let me try 3 different types of chicken, helped me through the whole process, and was very friendly. She gave me very generous portions and all of this food was only $9. I was in and out of the restaurant in 5 minutes, and it was DELICIOUS! I got the sweet and sour chicken and Beijing beef. I will definitely come back. Well done 👏👏
