Paname - French restaurant in Beirut, Lebanon
The food was less then average, we ordered burgers and the beef was very dry.. presentation of the food and the price were totally not matchingService was OKAYLocation is good
One of the most delicious Italian restaurants in Beirut . Very good food quality and amazing service .
Best quality of food , service and crowd with nice atmosphere. 👌🏽
Great food and amazing staff.
Interesting place in Saifi beirut
The place is in the heart of Beirut down town! French cuisine, the food is so delicious and it is presented in very nice manner. Its a fancy place and youre in for a treat. Dont forget to have dessert at the end, you wont regret it!
Perfect Service and nice tasty foods 👍
Very good food, nice wine list, excellent place for lunch
Overpriced and bland taste. The only nice thing about this restaurant is its location.
We eat well at Panam. The Burger is not to mBe missed and the chicken Bio too
Worst burger i had in a very, very, very long time. Horrible.
I love this restaurant. The tomato salad is so fresh. The hamburger is good too. Havent been disappointed here.
One of the few consistently good upscale restaurants in Beirut. In a very nice small piazza that looks kind of Rome. Especially successful salad and raw fish for vegetarians. Meat perfect too. Kale salad, salmon sashimis, the mortadella and the black Angus fillet were all exceptional. Definitely a restaurant to try. But dont expect Lebanese cuisine or a good glass of Arak.
Good food. Good service. Expensive
Wow, great food, nice atmosphere but the service the last time we went was bad. We kept on reminding the waiter about our order. Still my best place in DT.
In my opinion, for a place like this, service is not the best. Its a very nice place for sitting outside in the middle of Beirut without traffic.
One of my favorite Italian restaurant n the area. The prices are reasonable, the ambiance is nice and the food is wonderfully fresh and delicious as well.
Great value for money and vibrant atmosphere
One of my favorite places in Beirut
You feel like you’re in Italy!!! Sitting in the mood middle of a piazza! Love this place and the quality of the food. Nice selection of wine as well. I have already tried the beef tartare, the sea bass and steak and they are all amazing. Next time ill be trying their Peruvian CevisheThe only counter is their prices are a bit on the high side but still understandable given the quality and freshness. Definitely recommend it for lunch and even more for dinner
Amazing place but needs more outdoor ACs
Very nice italian restaurant! The food and the service are amazing! I love the location
The grilled beef black angus tenderloin was perfectly cooked and juicy . Served on a bed of toasted shiitake mushroom . Prices are on high range though . Setting is quite lovely in the middle of saifi village.
Great food and good service. Nice setting.
The terrace is so chilled. Good food with great setting 👌
Steph, the waitress, was extremely friendly and nice.
Good choice and terrasse. Good restaurant to just chill
I loved the food . Though the prices are high. Lovely but expensive cosy place
Great.Waw.Excellent location, feels like being seated in a cozy chic parisian plaza. What amazed most is the meticulous attention of staff. I.e. a friend dropped juice on her mobile, the waiter immediatly offered help to clean it up.Food is great, we ordered a collection of entrées. Marinated salmon is full of taste, fruity back taste. The salad was delicious too. I loved the burger, a generous portion of tasty meat. Steak meat was not the greatest.Guys you are great.Keep the great work.
Great outside seating, good food but a bit overpriced!
Very delightful food and great ambience
Very good burratina, wagyu burger is a must
Nice setting. Good food. Bistro style indoors. We tried White fish Ceviche and beef tenderloins. Tasty. Wine adequate (no bottles only carafe and by glass). Would like to try it outdoors.... Waiting for dry season
Excellent cuisine and fast service
Great place but not a big variety of food
Very good menu, but somehow overpriced.
Parisian vibes done best at this Saifi restaurant. Really felt transported and with the great service the experience is complete. I would recommend however changing the seats outside into more comfy ones.As for the food we ordered:The beetroot carpaccio with goat cheese salad: very tasty and beautifully presentedThe shredded greens kale with the salmon sashimi on the side: again the outstanding presentation and good tastewith asparagus: fulfilled any salad fan craveThe special green salad with asparagus and almondsBalanced flavors and laid back atmosphere, would definitely come back to try more as it was recommended
Unique Menu. Excellent staff & services
Nice setting and atmosphere. Adequate food and service
Amazing ambiance and food in Saifi Beirut down town
Excellent food friendly staff
Its such a cute place in Saifi. Saifi is already pretty so you dont feel like youre in Beirut, but Paname drives this further. The waiter was extremely nice and helpful and the food was super! We really enjoyed our evening.
Lovely set up in the heart of Saifi with a great food and service.
Good food and service. Place is however overpriced for what they offer. A simple example is a chicken plate for 50 usd or a tomato plate for 12 dollars. Quality of the foos is very good so this might partially compensate for the prices but not fully. Use if you want to impress a date, if not there are a lot of other places that are better
Very slow service and the food arrived cold.
Less than average. Service, food, presentation, ambience. Pricey but very average.
Amazing saffron pasta
Amazing food, wonderful ambiance, just perfect.
An excellent restaurant, service, location, crowd and surely food. The down side, desserts are not that good and the restaurant is a bit more expensive than what it deserves.
I don’t usually wait so impatiently for a restaurant to open, but that was the case with Paname. The reason for this impatience: Chef Youssef Akiki. For me, Burgundy’s chef is one of the best, if not the best chef in Lebanon. When I saw the opening announcement, my heart skipped a beat. I had to reserve. Finally, I was walking around in the pleasant Saifi environment with this Almost French restaurant as my destination. When we arrived, we were greeted with people casually sitting outside and a very friendly staff. We were led to our table and given our menus. I scrutinized all of the listed items and wanted to taste as much of the variety provided as I could. We ordered the Seared Bluefin Tuna Ceviche and Scottish Salmon Carpaccio as starters. For mains, we ordered the Spaghetti with Speck, the Wagyu Beef Burger, and the Grilled Plaice. We wanted to order the Grilled Black Angus Tenderloin but it was unavailable. The first items that were placed on our table were a basket of bread, and the wines we had asked for. Then, it really began. The appetizers arrived. The presentation was beautiful; it was reminiscent of Burgundy’s finesse. Both the salmon and the tuna were delicious. The seasoning was well-balanced and the combination of flavors all coming together in one bite was delightful. I loved how the mango tidbits complemented the tuna perfectly. We proceeded with our main dishes soon after. The spaghetti was cooked just right and the sauce was light and creamy. As for the burger, the doneness of the meat rendered it juicy and succulent, making it stand out despite its simple flavor profile. The fish was also extremely tender and moist, and the other components on the plate along with the dressing enhanced the taste even further. When it was time for dessert, the waiter informed us that they would be complimentary. They even refused to charge us for an additional dessert we wanted to pay for. We had the Strawberry Panna Cotta, the Tiramisu, and the Chocolate Mousse. The sauce smothering the cream in the panna cotta was fresh and intense, and the Tiramisu was rich and tasty. Honestly, I preferred both to the mousse dessert, although it was still really good as well. All in all, the service was great and I enjoyed my meal from beginning to end. My taste buds were left widely awakened and longing for more of those creations with flavorful ingredients, especially those fishy appetizers that will keep me coming back for more.
