Pan Handle Restaurant - Restaurant in Burns Lake, Canada
It was yummy
Cant even describe our disappointment 😪...Spending next day,all day in the bathroom....has not been a great 1st impression from a restaurant with relatively positive reviews!
We had launch there not to bad a place to stop and eat if you are traveling,
Not a particularly good experience. Building is showing age, but staff friendly. Ultimately food was not very good.
Awesome
Fast, friendly and good food.
The staff is always so accommodating
I love there number with ni chow mein and more rice. Oooof then I tried it with some hot sauce. Oooof superb.
I found this place by accident a couple years ago . Have stopped there many times . Food is great. .
Overpriced and honestly mediocre food just needs improvement
Nice little place. Friendly service and good food.
If youre ever in Burns Lake; this is the place to eat. Very quick service and very reasonably priced. Happy friendly staff on hand ready to help ! It is wheelchair accessible!
Food was good, service was friendly...they could use more customers now that the plandemic has been exposed as a fake.this is a good little restaurant with everything one could want from a Chinese restaurant. I will be going back again and again
One of my fav places to eat .getting Expensive to eat out .
You need to try the ginger beef, oh my God!!!
Too greasy
A bit pricey but great service!
I Paid over $70 for several plates of Chinese food, which appeared to be nothing but ichiban and sliced packaged sandwich meat. When I got home, I 1st thought it was a joke. But no. It was huge waste of money.Instead I ate an old sandwich and went to sleep hungry.Never ordering from there again.Save your time and money.Make a sandwich instead.
Awesome food an service 👍
Traditional diner serving basic sandwiches and burgers, as well as simple Chinese food. Good quality, fast service, decent price.
Food is good. Staff are awesome. Place is comfy. Relaxing experience
If you love heated food from a box.....
Good food but the deep frid pork was to hard
Good food and fresh
Good food
We had the all-u-can-eat and it was disgusting. The chicken and shrimp had obviously spent a LONG time being thawed and refrozen, and was possibly NOT even chicken.I swear it was badger meat from China.Skip this place, I cant see how they stay open, really.
whatever noodle side you get is always clearly ramen. after six years, i am unsure how they kept open from the last time i went... its kind of scary how big their menu is? they are not specifically one cuisine, they have meats of all sorts...
Do not get the deep fried prawns!!
The food didnt have flavor
So far every meal weve gotten was delicious!❤
Never open so how can one even try the food
Food was swimming in sauce. Service was quick.
Ok
They dont like me going there too much.like most place .
Great little restaurant with good food and great customer service!
Fast lunch service.... bright and clean
Very Good! Wish for more variety for vegans however we really liked the vegetable plates.Clean and fairly priced.Steve&Stace
Typical Chinese food. The decorations are fairly outdated
The best Chinese food in Burns Lake NOT that one at the Lakeside Mall.
Very nice place to eat, good service. Good price. Buffett or Smorg is excellent
Nothing fancy. Good people and good food!
Three of us went here while working in Burns Lake. I took one bite and was done. The other two guys had upset stomachs later that night and the next day.
Its ok could be better
The fact that there are very few restaurants in Burns Lake must be the main reason that this location is able to remain open. The food here is absolutely horrible. I have to give them credit for being consistent though, because their food is consistently awful. The deep fried prawns are so greasy that the grease soaked through the takeout container and left a large sized puddle on my kitchen counter. The chowmein is quite simply, Mr.Noodles or Ichiban with a couple pieces of vegetable and some fake meat chucked on top. If i have to choose between eating at the Panhandle or going hungry, going hungry wins hands down every time. Id rather light my money on fire than spend it on the nasty fare they attempt to pass off as food here.
New owners stare when we eat
food not so great
Good price for what you get.
Best restaurant in town when everything else is closed on a Sunday. Basic fare enough to fill your belly.
We had a good laugh while eating at this place and afterwards. 4 of us went for supper and two of us ordered combos, while the other two ordered from the "chefs specials" section of the menu. The meals came out one at a time, about 10 minutes apart, so it was nice to eat our meals at seperate times so the ones served early could watch the rest finish theirs. A new dining experience is always refreshing. The "almond" chicken from the "chefs specials" was a pile (literally a pileof deep fried chicken with peanuts sprinkled on top (about 3 chicken breasts deep fried with a tablespoon of crushed peanuts as a garnish). There must have been almonds hiding in the batter or something to earn its name. Such value though! 3 pounds of deep fried meat keeps you feeling full for hours! One person ordered a side of rice to accompany their meal to which the waitress replied with the question "steamed or fried?". She chose steamed to which the waitress replied "we only have fried". Glad she had the option though! The combos were alright... Large portions of seemingly reheated food. Overall we had a great time, 5/5.
Quick food and good lunch specials. Right on the highway.
