Palm Afrique Lodge - 3star Ghanzi Botswana in Ghanzi

Only spent one night on way to Mabuasehube and will definitely use Palm Afrique again. An amazing campsite, really great chalets, great pub and pool area, superb buffet dinner and really really good hosts in Bertie and Sonja. Pity we had to leave early and couldnt stay for breakfast but will be back. Highly recomended to anyone in the area.

A place to be

The place is very nice and beautiful. The male Afrikaans owner not so much. He was very rude. Hot water ran out fast so bathing was a problem in the morning. Not a place I would visit againThis was back in 2019, I don’t remember the room number but it was one of the single rooms right next to the kitchen/dining area.

We arrived here after 5 nights wild camping in the Kalahari and were really happy to find such a great establishment. We were camping and we had all the facilities we could ask for and a lovely site. The ablutions were fantastic and clean and very rustic (as in, cool!). The owner was amazing to deal with and very friendly and helpful. Had a great night here. The chalets looked wonderful too.

Palm Afrique is an exquisite boutique lodge, with great customer service. The rooms a spacious and food is excellent. Arguably the best place to stay in Ghanzi.

El lugar es agradable pero le falta ese punto salvaje q tienen los otros lodges. Para una parada esta bien. Deberían tener actividades.... pero bueno...en ghanzi tampoco hay mucho.La gente maja y atenta.Terraza agradable para tomar algo.En la zona de acampada hay muchos mosquitos, pero esta limpio.

Was such a pleasure to stay there. Rooms and surrounding areas are clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful. And the chefs food is good. Had a great time there

Quite place, didnt love the game drives, its not really a game drive just a farm tour, ostrich there and pool.Nothing todo, the steak was okay.The owner wasnt really friendly but at the end when we paid our daughter didnt pay for the game drive and food she ate. That was the only nice thing about the place.

We camped there for two days and was almost alone at the camp area. Nice and welcoming staff. Delicious food. WiFi at the pool area was ok. Clean absolutions and hot shower. We will book here again if we are in the area.

The best steaks not to be missed, good food with excellent service. Home made mango ice cream was the superb.

The best food I’ve ever had in my entire life! Amazing hosts and just a beautiful setting with lots of wild game surrounding the lodge. Would definitely return. Highly recommended

Good food and hospitality

We stayed at the campsite for one night. It’s well equipped and easily accessible as it is located just a few km off the main road. A mixed sand and gravel road leads to the campsite. We cannot say anything about breakfast or the other facilities as we arrived late and left early but what we saw looked good.What we could say though is that the service is good. Due to a car incident we were running very late but staff waited for us and welcomed us warmly. So, all in all, a very short big experience.

Lovely. Excellent. The resort is pretty empty during Covid but this hasnt stopped the owners from maintaining it in first class fashion. Everything was in its place, staff efficient and discrete. All services worked as offered. This will be my first choice and first recommendation for stay overs in Ghanzi.

The place is beautiful. The variety of wild animals at the place is very interesting.The steak by Chef Zhita "top notch"..

Lovely campsite with very friendly staff and owners.Swimming pool, small bar, lovely clean bathrooms, off the main A3 road, so peaceful and quiet.Electricity and drinking water in all the sites.Will be back- highly recommended!

Sonja and Bertie has hearts of gold. The best stay that i had ever experienced. The beds are very very comfortable, the food is delicious and they make you feel at home. I would definitely stay there again.
