Palacio Portales - Palace in Rurrenabaque, Bolivia
Arbres immenses, fleurs, petits bassins. À voir.Entrée 20 bol avec visite guidée.
Beautiful place
Nothing amazing but gave it 4 stars as it only costs 5 boliviano
Definitely worth a visit. It is a piece of art that represents different architectural models in every room. Dont miss the recreation room the arabic architecture is splendid. It is said to have taken 12 years to complete the building.
If you are ever in this town of Cochabamba, the Patinio house is a must see place. I am not a big fan of lavish houses but the effort that has gone into building this place worth the visit. Each room appears to be plucked out from a different continent. All the money that was earned through mining surely helped in creating a lasting architectural legacy.
Opulent and well maintained. Very nice staff.
Its one of the nicest (its actually beautifulplaces that hosts cultural venues in town. Occasionally they are great.

The gardens and the inside of the house are amazing
Has several cultural activities
Its a mágical place
A peaceful surrounding that wont disappoint. Staff is courteous and stepping on the grounds transports you back in time. Venue offers cultural offerings. Tour the garden or the mansion to find peace and serenity. A must when visiting CBBA.
Great tour, the gardens are very pretty
Calm and interesting place to visit
Great tour and very cheap too. The inside is comparable to antique buildings in the UK or elsewhere, very well built and meticulous in detail. If youre about the details you must visit
This is a beautiful place with a lot of history, it is a bicon of the arts, the building itself is a masterpiece of the late 18 century architecture built by the best architect and decorated by the best artists of the time. The palace has electric wiring and a generator, plumbing and all the confort we enjoy today in the USA. The place was ment to be the retirement house for the then richest man in earth who never got to inhabit the place, his eirs left the place and a small portion of the fortune to a foundation that promotes artist and helps bright people with low income to achieve their professional success
Curious to see this European style building made out a mix of so many different many. The most interesting part is however the story of the family, how they started, grew their business and contributed to the Bolivian society. We took the guided tour which gets you to see the interior of the building as well + an interesting video (in very quick Spanishon the family. The garden is average.
Great place the only thing they dont allow you to take pictures inside of the palace (
cool
Interesting tour and good guides

One of the best places to learn about the culture in Cochabamba. One can get tours in various languages, very informative and friendly staff.
Wonderful
The gardens to the estate are gorgeous.
The English tour was very informative. The grounds are beautiful and you get to see several rooms of the house. The art work and architectural designs are breathtaking. This house was built in the 1920 and is just stunning.
Beautiful house and gardens with an interesting history! Our English tour was very well done and only took 30 min. Entry is 20B and it is worth it!It us especially interesting to see different themese inside the house incl an Arabic style pool billiard room...
Very nice grounds with lots of different trees and flowers. The house is ornate and has an interesting history. Tours are given every 30 minutes and are in a variety of languages. Only one language per tour though so you may need to wait.
Nice place to learn about the Patiño legacy and history
One of the best places in Bolivia, you must have to visit
Centro Simon I.Patiño
Beautiful center, exhibit and performance space, botanical gardens, and library. The tours of the main house are worth it as the guides are knowledgeable and tours are offered in several language, including English. After the Center, visit the Patiños summer home and agricultural experimental farm in Pairumani.
Really beautiful gardens. Tour in Spanish/English/French included in entry price of 20bovs. House itself is fine. Gardens are the gorgeous part!
