Landmark 1950s-built palace of arts & culture with theater, sports field & 30th-floor terrace.
The building is beautiful and a great historic Landmark to visit. At night it lights up with different colours and looks beautiful to take pictures. We did not do the museum but went up to the viewpoint, which was slightly underwhelming mainly due to guards obstructing the view but still we managed to get a few nice pictures from it. Also lovely to see Warsaw from high up.
Astonishing piece of soviet architecture, a true masterpiece of its time and even today can give to its visitors a thrill, breathtaking view
Views of the city from the decks are superb.I booked a guided tour which shows your the ballroom and few other thingsWell worth the £12
Back to the Soviet era. I like the vibe and the view from the top floor. But you get to wait in the queue for long
Very beautiful and nice surroundings! The museum is worthy if youre a student in order to have the discount! Youll enjoy it even is a medium size museum in my opinion
I went to see the rooftop and there was only one lift working at the time (September ‘22so we had to wait a little even though it was a Monday. It is a nice thing to do if you’re in Warsaw and have spare time.
Always a pleasure coming here. Sometimes, the queue can get quite long but its worth the wait. Nice view over Warsaw - daylight and nighttime. Be aware, its windy up there.
The center of Warsaw. Many shops near here. Walking street with restaurants. Many people, noisy district. You can climb to the roof top and look around city. Many interesting places in Warsaw. Better spend your time for castles and palaces. If you have time and money you can spend it here. But better excursion for historical places and enjoy walking and food of course. Hospitality people. I recommend
Beautiful, history of Poland..its patrimony of UNESCO.. HUMANITY
Crazy view from tower terrace. Totally safe, there is a coffee on The terrace. Parking must be paid with coins or banknotes, no possibility to pay by card. An impressive temporary exhibition of metal sculptures. The Evolution Museum is very weak, not worth visiting.
➕ Stunning views from the terrace at the 30th floor!➖ Massive queues to enter the elevator due to no information that buying the tickets in advance can save you a lot of time! By purchasing the ticket online you go straight to the 27th floor and then walk three floors up with no downtime!🚻 Free restrooms are located on -1 floor. All well maintained.☕🍴Plenty of chances to get some coffee, snacks and even a full meal, on the ground floor and on the terrace.👛 Fair price to enter the terrace.🛍️ Souvenirs shops in a several places of the palace.♿ Friendly place for people with disabilities.💡Walk around the palace to learn about the getto, see where the getto wall was... At the top floor take your time to read about Warsaw and its history. It is by all means a very special place.
The photo booth is faulty on the viewing terrace DO NOT USE IT. We paid 10 zloty and the photos came out all black and image is not seen. DONT USE IT ITS A SCAM
The building isn’t anything special but the view from it is really magnificent, especially during the golden hour. I recommend to visit this place in the evening if you want great photos. But the waiting time was longer than we expected (around 20 minutes). That was because only one of six lifts were working. So keep in mind that.
Pretty nice lookout tower, where you can watch almost the entire city. The waiting time is about an hour, and you better to buy tickets in advance. We did it during standing in the line😇 So if you do not purchase tickets before, you sucked. Because you need to wait the whole queue on the left side and then on the right side😅
Super place with the most amazing panoramic view of Phoenix of Europe Warsaw.
For the tower view we bought tickets online and we entered very quickly, without waiting in queue
Huge building. The spiders exhibition was small but interesting
Gorgeous place! On the 30th floor there is an observation deck where you can see the distant corners of Warsaw.
Reasonable price for entry. Very long wait for elevators unless you find the secret elevators underneath which never have any people waiting, only issues is you have to walk up a few stairs. 5* view.
Nice panoramic view from top floor. Worth the money.
It is a very imposing building, the tallest in all of Poland, a classic example of communist architecture, in the center of the city. It is a Warsaw landmark and must be visited to admire the panoramic view from the 30th floor.
There is a nice tour you can take for 40 zloti. They offer tours in English and Polish. It lasts about 45 minutes and includes entry to the viewing deck at the top. The tour is really informative and the building is beautiful. Its a great way to spend the afternoon.
Very nice place, in the morming not much people. Recomend to visit. also interesting for children.
Interesting place to visit. Highly recommended.
Maybe I didnt know what to look for. Not very much was in English but the tour ticket I got was to go to one of the higher floors to be able to see most of Poland from an elevated position. You can see old town and a few other things at a distance. I recommend going but I wouldnt plan for more than 2 hours. Took forever to get in.
Best place to get a panoramic view of the city! It is very cheap as well. The downside is that you have to wait in a long queue because only one of six elevators worked.
Me and my family went to the Gallery of Steel figures. Fantastic exhibition, is one of a kind and definitely worth a visit. The center is huge and lot of artistic events go on all throughout the year.
A huge building with lots to see and experience. Huge queues for the viewing platform, but the exhibitions seem to be walk straight in. Nice Cafe Nero too, theyre much better in Poland than they are in UK thats for sure!
Beautiful pace of architecture, but please update the maps displayed - we wanted to visit the Museum of Technology but had to look for it while walking in the rain.
I visited the museum of technology and it was beyond worth it. Sadly it’s being renovated right now. I also visited the spider expo and it was so creepy but great! The line to go up to the terrace by elevator is quite long, and buying tickets beforehand does not help.
Good because of all the clubs and bars and theatres there. Loads of options for nightlife. Central location, easily accessible. And interesting building itself. It has a terrace in one of the too floors to see Warsaw from above . It has swimming pool as well.
Impresive beautiful, tall, historical building (237 meterstotally worth to visit when in Warszawa! The terrace frome the 30th floor is offering an amazing view of the city. The exhibition center has some really cool metal sculpture like cars, robots, a replica of the throne from Game of Thrones and well known movies and cartoons characters that kids really love to see and touch.
This tower is really a palace of Warsaw. A rare piece of architecture i have seen with my eyes. 30th floor is open for public to see beautiful view of the city of Warsaw.
I highly recommend visiting this Palace. The view from the viewing terrace was breathtaking.I bought the tickets online and it was worth it. The only inconvenience here was the queue upstairs and then downstairs. There was only one lift and because of corona restrictions, there could be only 4 people in it.
Iconic building in the center of warsaw and also the most stylish one. It looks more beautiful in night when lights turned on. The blend of old architecture along with modern building make this place, quite a scenic.
It was a Educational and going back to history kind of experience. My son 7yrs enjoyed the most. He was amazed. But No explaination in English . So some who doesnt understand Polish ..Keep your Google Translate and scan to understand the hordings.
Loved that building on my trip to Warsaw. Very impressive architecture style and dimensions. Nice photo subject at day and night. I recommend to go to the viewing platform in the evening while its sunset and blue hour.
I strongly recommend going on the observation deck in the Palace of Culture and Science while visiting Warsaw. The view is truly stunning. The tickets are quite cheap and theres no time limit on the top. The lift is quite fast, but even the short queue (~25 peopletook us like 20 minutes to get to the lift. I recommend checking busyness on google maps before visiting.
You can not miss this place! Taking a guided tour is higly recommended. The guide is super fun, he knows so many details about the building and lots of funny facts. Everybody are very friendly and ready to help a foreigner
Palace of Culture and Science in WarsawVisited on 28/9/2019It is a pity that my tour group have very jam-pack schedule and do not have time to visit this building to give a detailed review. We arrive late in the evening, and most members go separate way after dinner. From far across the road, I can see this magnificent building lit up in purply blue, a rather mystic colour, in the dark background. The building was originally known as the Joseph Stalins Palace of Culture and Science is and is the second tallest building in Poland.
An underwhelming experience. You can go up the lift to the viewing deck, but Id argue the lookout in Old Town Warsaw has better, unobstructed views. There are some plaques up there to read, but again, could find that info elsewhere and save yourself the time of waiting for the lift to go up and down. There wasnt much else to do. Honestly, spend the time elsewhere.
A beautiful building gifted from Russia to Poland (and the Polish people have mixed feelings about thatit is a beautiful place to visit with museums and theaters. Take the elevator to the observation deck to see the whole city from up high!
Very nice building, from the roof you can see the whole city of Warsaw. Unfortunately, finding the entrance to the palace was very difficult. I also asked some about the info point but it was very general information. The management of the entrance is a bit to be reviewed.
An iconic Warsaw landmark. Nicely illuminated at night. Worth a visit to the observation floor for great 360 views over the City.
Very cool experience when in Warsaw. A trip onto the 30th floor viewing terrace to take in the panorama of the city. Then a quick stop for souvenirs and youre on your way :-). The view is very cool especially in the evening. Its not too crowded but be aware that the elevators need to be called by the tourists- theyre not automatic. This can lead to delays. Overall a cool way to spend a couple of hours.
Amazing views😍, very reasonable price. The only downfall at the moment is that only one small lift is operating, so make sure you plan a bit more time for your visit.
One from many iconic building in Warsaw, few times coming here with kids, they lived it because they can see the city of Warsaw from every side. Always crowded and only one elevator been used so make it even slower but it really a nice place to visit and see Warsaw from different angle.
Great architectural site for the Warsaw. The history of the building is worth enough for the visit. However, I have a mix feeling visiting the Terrace. Only one operating elevator made 15 min visit into hour and a half. I believe the expected scenery is not as impressive.
A very controversial building in Warsaw, but an undeniably characteristic landmark in the city. The upper floors have an observation deck which provides great views.
This giant iconic building is one of the highest building in Poland located in the centre of Warsaw, which was constructed in the 1950s during the Soviet domination. There are some good coffee shops upstairs for enjoying the view of Warsaw.
