Very good place, specially for schools boys learn lot of things about animals, birds, Pakistan history and much more.
Beautiful neat and clean place for kids and adultsKids and adults can enjoy
Antique, haphazard displays, looked as if were made 50 years back. Could become a good museum if displays are upgraded, new exhibits installed. Require a good museum director who knows about museums
Its good place to visit with family.
Its good place for families and childs,
A great experience. The exhibits are well arranged, however, the museum could do with better descriptions and more details about some exhibits. The place is highly recommend for all age groups. There is no ticket for entrance, however the place is not wheelchair friendly and the staircases for the upper levels are quite narrow. Overwall a great experience.
Amazing place for visit with family...

Well maintained by dedicated staff.
It is really a good place to visit. If you are history lover then you must visit this place . Animals with their original shapes are placed there. Samples of rocks are placed there. Old insects, butterfly 🦋, birds are also placed. Good place to visit with family. Tickets rate are different here with category.
Very nice place to visit. A lot of historical things and information about Pakistan. The main issue was there is no generator. When we reached there we were told that no tickets till the light comes back. Secondly, no air conditioning. On questioning I was told that it is out of order and the government is not keen to get it fixed. It was shameful that we have such a nice place to visit with no facilities...
The museum is well maintained and good for families and specially kids!!!
One of the best museum for kids and adults too,Too much to see
My kids love this place. And are excited to go there everytime!
For both children and adults, the Pakistan Museum of Natural History is a great learning facility. There are numerous sections in it where one may learn about different animal species and human history. includes a lot of scientific material along with some general data. there are steps everywhere and no elevator, and there is no support for special visitors to the museum.
This museum is a wonderful place to visit.A wide variety of fossils of birds and animals have been kept there.Gems and minerals, fossils of whale, giraffe and Dino add grace to this excellent museum. There is so much to see which can’t be described here,I strongly desire that museum like this must be built in every city of Pakistan.A must visit place for students, kids and tourists who come to Islamabad. For those who can’t go there I have made a detailed video which can be seen at my YouTube channel dr sajid Vlog.
An amazing initiative by the authorities and except the building structure, it’s quite well done for displaying information to kids and adults!
Good place for school and college kids. Very informative
Great place to visit specially for students and children. A large number of exhibits are on display which give awareness about various aspects of natural phenomena covering a range of subjects including space, zoology, plants, prehistoric creatures, birds, earth, etc.
Pakistan Museum of Natural History is a good learning place for kids and adults. It has lot of sections where one can learn about various kind of animals and human history. Covers lot of scientific information and also provides some general information too. Overall its a good place but to make it more interesting, upgradation is a must as lot of stuff is old and has started to deteriorate. Further, there is no support for special persons to visit the museum as there are stairs everywhere and no elevator is available. Looks like Building has never been upgraded or transformed since its inception.
this place id owsum for our childrens and specially to growing up there mental health. It was wonderful place for my daughter to learn physically structure of different animals , structure of World , Minerals and over all things that was seen there was absolutely Awesome...
This is the good place to visit and get knowledge of our national history. You should bring your kids and tell them the national history while they seeing the things. They will remember it definitely. The museum is well organized and maintained.
Beautiful historical and well mannaged palace
Its a very informative and good place especially for children bit it needs alot of improvements. It can be made a very giod place just with constant care and making small additions... The sad thing is that, even though there are no additions, the current exhibits are declining... The concerned authorities should look for creative and innovative ways to improve the facility, beyond the government funds.
A good and informative place to visit. They have beautiful building and wonderful display. Its a fun place for kids and adults. Visiting hours are strictly followed here. Contact them first before visiting about the opening and closing of mueseum.

Though a small museum, but better than having nothing. Informative displays, equally good for students and adults of ages. Visitors to Islamabad, and even local residents should NOT miss it.
Great place for students and kids to explore historical things.
Very Informative Place. If You Visit Pakistan Monument also take a visit of this Museum. You will see a eye opening natural history explained in very detail. Staff are very cooperative. Fully Recommended fir to Tourists to visit this place.
Pakistan Museum of Natural History, established in 1976, is a public natural history museum situated in Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan. It has exhibits and galleries which display and provide information about the ecology, geology, and paleontology of the country. The Best Experience Ever.
It was nice experience, my 3 years old was happy to see Dinosaur moving 😄 ... though as it is Open space so selecting a good weather may help to increase the goodness of the experience
I had so much fun there. They have exhibits of everything. The interior is simple and nice. They also have a souvenir shop at the entrance, which was closed because I visited during the jumma prayer. One thing that needs some work is cleaning the glass, and the placement of lighting. When taking pictures, the glass was reflecting so much light that it was a little hard to see the displays. Apart from that, I highly recommend visiting this museum, because there is so much to see and learn. The photos Ive shared are just a few things from hundreds, or maybe, thousands of things on display there.
Feel so good to see this Museum in my Country. Its not so big but have detailed information about everything they had. Lovely experience. One of the must go places.
Pakistan MUSEUM of Nature History is an informative place to visit. Skulls of African creatures who resemble human beings are surprisingly amazing. Some fossils of Dinosaurs and other sea creatures which are found in Khushab and Mianwali River throw us back in ancient times and we realise that these cities has historical importance . The moving sculptures of Dinosaurs are really amazing and kids specially loved this dinosaur area.
Great place to visit if you want to learn about the wildlife that existed and continues to exist in Pakistan. Its well-curated, well-managed and quite informative. You can visit the whole place in less than 2 hours. Ideal place for young families.
The museum is worth watching. Lot of attraction for kids and even adults of all ages. Administration can be improved. The balochi Therium is placed at such a point where generally nobody wants to go. The entrance may be adjusted such that every body can experience that giant animal. Overall it was a good visit.
One of the best historic place to visit. No wheelchair accessable.
Great place to visit if you are interested in Natural History of Pakistan. There are stuffed animals, sculptures of animals, interacting dinosaurs, skeletons of animals, etc. Well maintained. Ticket is also extremely reasonable. Not recommended for old & disabled persons as the Museum is divided into various floors and only accessible through stairs.
This is a must visit for all those who are in twin cities and those who visit Islamabad. Students should specially visit this place its very informative and educational place. You will find in depth the history of Natural heritage of Pakistan. From geography to plants, animals, stones, insects, birds, fisheries etc all are on display with details
Pakistan museum of natural history is house of real natural thing.must visit their with your family.but remember dont bring handicap person or child..there is no ramp facility available.. only stairs can be used for going upstairs and downstairs..its a negative point here. Thats why i rated 3 Star.
It’s a nice experience to visit natural history museum,Very informative, inspiring, insightful... for kids , it’s a lovely experience! The Pakistan Museum of Natural History has four divisions namely Botanical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Zoological Sciences and Public Services...
The museum of natural history Pakistan has indeed surpassed its expectations. It was a nice experience. The museum has a decent amount of attractions to offer its visitors. It is divided in different sections. It is worth going. But I recommend that you visit on a weekday rather then weekend. The ticket is 30 rupees only for one person.
Museum is very informative but upper floors are a little mismanaged. Most of the LCD screens are not functional. But overall a good place to visit. Parents must take their kids to this museum and give them a detailed tour. Highly recommended for students and science enthusiasts. Ticket is only PKR 30 and the museum remains open on Sundays.
