Dated: 15th October, 2022I was here before a couple of times, and this time again with my friends. A symbol of unity between the provinces of Pakistan.It will calm your inside and your heart, every time you visit, you will love this place. Some renovations were going on, when we visited, but were full people of all ages and both genders. We also met some Chinese and french friends there.Amazing place to visit and very very important for school childrens.Overall Experience: Just Amazing and will Strongly Recommend this place to visit to everyone 💪

Its a great placeMain ideas of founding Pakistan are described well.Good for 10th grade students especially where they can see their syllabus history with their own eyes.Give them good understanding.Kids must be educated by parents while there instead of just making pictures. Its a complete concept from entrance to exit.Need some enough time to go through all places.

Beatiful place for visitors. It is situated on top of a hill known as Shakar Paryan Islamabad. You can have all round view if Islamabad city. The place also includes an excellent museum on the theme of Pakistan history and present. Worth visiting.

The Pakistan monument is a national monument and heritage museum located on the western Shakar pirian Hills in Islamabad The monument was constructed to symbolize the unity of the Pakistani people. It is dedicated to the people of Pakistan who sacrificed their "today" for a better "tomorrow". The four large petals represent each of the four cultures, the PUNJABI, the BALOCHI, the SINDHI and the PAKHTUN The three smaller petals represent: the minorities, AZAD KASMIR and GILGIT BALTISTAN Its elevation makes the monument visible from across the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area and is a popular tourist destination.

A lovely dedicated place to remember Pakistan and its people. You can spend time with your family and take photos with nice views. But one thing that put me off was the trash near the monument. The vendor stalls right next to the monument is not a good idea. Our people need to learn some civic sense and how to keep mother nature clean.

Awesome place, beautiful and intricate architecture. Its location makes it ideal place to visit on weekends with friends and family. The natural beauty of Islamabad can be sited from this place. Huge parks and lawn are present in the surrounding of Pakistan Monument. There is a museum inside Monument. I really appreciate the cleanliness which has been maintained.

Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and is famous for overall greenery and good sceneries one of the tourists attraction in Islamabad is Pakistan monumrnt which is situated at Hilly place namely shakerpriyan at zero point When you enter into monument we first find museum where giant pictures of quid r Azam mohmad ali jinnah ,the founder of Pakistan and other important events are displayed for information of tourists These things and events gives a true picture of our our leader such as an accounting book is being diseplaced cash book in which quid razam recorded his income and expenditure account.he himself wrote the book by own hand writing and persons visiting museum can see his deposit cash in a huge amount to towards income tax in Pakistan treasury .Pakistani stamps and currency and other important information were displayed in museum Out side we saw stairs going up towards monument where round shape building as you see on picture gives you a instant view of Islamabad and you can see hand prints of labours who sacrificed their lives in building qraqrum China Pakistan road in past .overall monument museum is a historic place to visitIts a good place to visit if one wants to see Islamabad at night, from above, provided that if monal is not in the list. The place is a source of attraction for the lovers of architecture. While for the rest, night lights are definitely the reason for visit. Museum also has added to its value, as around 1/3rd of the visitors see this museum.

One of the most beautiful and well preserved peices of architecture I have seen in my life. Visiting Islamabad as a native NYer, I could not believe the cleanliness and calmness of this historic place!The monument has wonderful etchings of history alongside beautiful scenery. You can see for miles around. Someone said that the entire monument was etched BY HAND!!! I could not corroborate this, but by God, this place is beautiful. If youre visiting Pakistan, you must go!Also, Beware of the scammers outside of the monument! The second they know youre a foreigner or a tourist, they will try to scam you! If you feel uncomfortable or wary of someone, just say no or call police! Its very important to not engage the scammers.

I had the pleasure of visiting this monument, and I can tell you that it is truly a wonderful place to visit. It has such a rich history and the people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable.The monuments are beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking.The architecture is so unique that it makes you think about what it must have been like in the past.I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience something different, but also wants to learn more about history!

Visited in August 2022. Going through renovations, so couldn’t go too close. Lovely park, museum also closed.

Its an excellent place. Right at the Shakarparian.Must take your kids to this place and the museum which is in the same compound right beside the monument and introduce them to pre Islam, advent of islam and independence movement history.Must see the museum which is beside the monument. It has excellent history details, cars, models and pictures.Monument and museum have separate tickets to be bought which are Rs 20 and Rs 50 respectively.There is a souvenir and refreshment shop inside the boundary wall.Great place to visit and take you foreigner friends.

A very cool looking building in terms of architecture, with art etched into the walls. Theres also a really nice view of Islamabad due to the elevation of the area the building is situated in.

The drawings on stone are good and the scenery to city is quite a sight. But it was under maintenance during the visit. There is a enterance ticket and then a separate ticket for the wax museum.Never enter their Toilets!

A must visit place with great architecture and a museum that reminds our history, Independence, freedom fight, great personalities tho contributed in the Independence movement. The museum part is quite interesting and informative for kids if their elders are aware of the history or try to read, narrate, and explain the helpful content provided with ease scene or setting to depict the situation.It can be a complete day tour as kids can enjoy scenic views of Islamabad. I would not suggest tp visit in hot summer because cooling system of the museum was out of order when I visited it in July 2022. Since the museum hall is not airy or ventilated, kids and families didnt enjoy well as they were sweating all the time.Thank you.

Pretty much good place for hanging out.. right.... Especially the evening is so much fascinating... Go there enjoy the cool breeze of winter...

Whenever in islamabad i always like to visit monument for the views and good time. Its is an amazing place with wonderful architecture and art. It also has museum. Last time i visited the gate that directly connects it to road was closed so i had to choose shakarpariyan road, which is longer. First confirm about the gates and museum timimg before coming. Take some snacks on your way. If you have a student card keep it with you, you will get a discount on museum tickets.

A nice place to visit, whether it being for the views or for wanting to learn more about the history of Pakistan. When visiting the monument itself, make sure to pay attention to the smaller details that are carved into the sculpture. There is also a smaller viewpoint behind the monument, so make sure not to miss that either!

Must visiting place in IslamabadFrom this place you can see whole of Islamabad, but always go in the evening, it is very sunny and hot during the day.

Nice architecture. The indoor museum got closed by the time we reached there. The park however was open. The tuck shop had handicraft gifts, and pak monuments key chain.

Strongly recommend for everyone who are visiting IslamAbad to visit Pakistan Monument. The best thing, there is ♿ Accessible way for wheelchairs if anyone wants to reach at the main point of the monument.

Entry ticket 20 rupees for adult, below 6 yrs kids are free. Parking is free. Place closes around 8 pm nowadays. Not much crowded. Google directions are correct and place is easy to find (i didnt find any board saying Pakistan Monumentthere was board saying Shakarparian. Anyhow in summers better to go after 6 pm

One can go there are enjoy the beautiful sight seeing. Islamabad from a Glance looks mind blowing. Located at a side 8 kilometres from highway east, this monument is opposite to Museum. You must go there and spend some time.

If you are in Islamabad. This place is worth visiting. I didn’t visit the museum. But the test was awesome. The history is interesting. The views are spectacular! The crowd is as little irritating at times!

The Pakistan Monument has long had a special place in my heart. This tends to be one of the first places I take guests from outside of Islamabad to. CDA has done an excellent job keeping the monument well maintained, and the museum is a nice distraction as well. I wouldnt call this the best view of Islamabad but its up there. The monument itself is just gorgeous. If only we had more monuments like this one.
