Ordered online for a treat. I live around 25 Kms from the takeaway but had heard it was good.First impressions were good, looks clean and the staff were okay.The wait to collect was reasonable as it shows the food is cooked fresh and wasnt on a hotplate somewhere waiting for me to collect.Drove home (25kms), sat down to enjoy my food which looked great.To be fair, the king prawn chow mein was quite good. I was looking forward to my prawn toast and veggie spring rolls.The prawn toast was good, crisp and not too greasy.Took a large bite of the veggie spring roll to find it was actually a chicken roll. I have not eaten meat in nearly 20 years!!!!!I called the pagoda and was created with "Ill give it to you next time, Ill remember". I explained this was not good enough due to the travel etc. I probably wont be back. The next option was to return the whole meal for a refund. 50 Kms for 27 euro!!!I declined their kind generous offer as the time and journey would outwaigh the value to me, pagoda obviously need it more than I do.An apology would have been nice as a starting point though.Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment!!!

I and my wife visited the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant at Manor West..( beside MacDonaldsthis evening. As always we received a warm welcome from Mai and the staff. The Menu gives a wide variety of choice at a very reasonable price. The Food was fresh and beautifully flavoured.... compliments to the Chef. What is very noticeable is how spacious and clean the dining area is... . well done to All.😃🙌

Was there yesterday with my friend, we had from the early bird menu chicken curry and chicken in sate sauce and it was delicious, staff was not so experienced but very friendly, will go again for sure. *****

Very bad experience. Food not tasty at all.Comparing with other Chinese restaurant they are not providing real Chinese food. Very pathetic experience. Kindly try to improve yourself and provide real tasty Chinese food to your valuable costumers.

The Pagoda Restaurant is just amazing the nicest Chinese I have eaten. Staff are so friendly. Would definitely recommend this Chinese to anyone.

All good until you eat inside the restaurant🙌🏻I had ordered a spice box to go a good few times it was perfect every time 👍🏻 Me and a friend decided to go for a Friday night dinner and regretted it 😢 My starter was fab but the main wasn’t the best, I had a chicken curry, the chicken was as chewy as leather and the peas were frozen 😣 Then we decided to get dessert I got a lemon sorbet and that wasn’t the best either when it was served to me it was frozen ❄️ There was actual frost on the outside of the lemon 🍋 Personally I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit ‼️😖

Takeaway night is always Pagoda night. Lovely fresh veg and super tasty. Totally recommend the duck with pancakes- it even comes with sliced spring onions and cucumber! Singapore fried rice is the tastiest and most filled in Kerry :-)

Got 4 spice bags, soggy chips, uncooked veg and barely a touch of spice between all 4 bags... disgusted I wasted money trying this Chinese and my family now have 4 bags of inedible muck for dinner... if I could give zero stars I most definitely would!

22nd of March my confirmation. I went heremail for my day out and oh my Lord the food is delicious. My desert was amazing. Any other occasion I would definitely go here. The workers here are some polite .And I enjoyed it hereThank you

Really good food and staff and great value family meals, nicest Chinese in Tralee in my opinion.

Was not too bad. We ordered online from the website to get 10% off which was nice. Waiting time wasnt the worst or the best, somewhere in between. The food itself tasted nice and looked ok, however, we didnt particularly feel good after and was worried we got food poisoning. Luckily we didnt, but we didnt eat the rest of our food as we were worried. Overall, it was ok/not bad.

Excellent lovely food

Used to love this place for years. They shut due to a fire a few months back and since opening again, their food is disgusting. Chips not cooked, curry left out for hours, and worst of all, I got chicken curry tonight and the chicken was so tough that I couldnt bite through it. Waste of money and could make someone very sick.

Compared to other “Chinese” restaurants (*cough, cough* fast food joints *cough, cough*), Pagoda at least makes an effort to be oriental and to instill a surreal sense that the diners really ARE eating in China due to the decor and Asian-themed music in the background. Theres also a nice vantage point when eating at the back of the restaurant, if you just so happen to care about looking at people drive into McDonalds.As for the staff, theyre polite and courteous. Nothing that really wows you about their dedication to their job but at least theyre not jerks.Thats about where all the positives about Pagoda end.The food is shamefully average, an extremely bland chicken curry and the sauce covering it is thinner than a two-year-old with explosive diahorrea. And considering the fact that you can get an INFINITELY better curry at MJs Diner just (which doesnt even specialise in Asian cuisine15 minutes max away, theres really no reason to eat at Pagoda. At all.Suffice to say, I was disappointed beyond words. Save your money and eat at a place that actually serves appetising Chinese food because Pagoda sure as hell doesnt. Plain and simple.

Used to love it but ordered it this evening. Chicken balls are different now tiny rock hard and covered in sweet n sour with half an onion I cant eat. Complained they sent replacement and they were vile dog ate them. Why do they have to change stuff
