Padi Box in Sabak Bernam

Other than the paddy view from room, I dont recommend this place. Its not well maintained, cleanliness is just acceptable, all equipments are old, dirty bedsheets. Do expect wild lifes invasion such as bugs, cats and wild lizard with noticed in the little stream right next to the balcony. The glass door is obseleted and dangerous, the whole piece of glass door almost fall on us during our stay.

I’m drawn by the concept and the view by the paddy field. Looks like a really fun place for a girls trip.Not!The place severely needs maintenance.1. Stained bedsheet and water stained wall.2. Spiders in the room.3. Poorly functioned air con.4. Poor lighting5. Can feel springs when siting on the bed.6. Window is dirty and algae. (Can’t see outside!)We were so disappointed that we checked out 1 hour later and went off.

Still got room for improvement. Scenery perfect- I booked a room with balcony, facing paddy field. Just not a right time, paddy just planted not long ago. Just saw small little grass plant😂. Once I enter into the room, I felt so nice & cozy room. Air condition was cold( very cold, bathroom clean. Very thing was just right. Places is quiet. Go anywhere need to drive, but not far. Price- on fair side. I really enjoy my stay.

Made up of bright & colourful freight containers situated amongst the paddy fields. Padi Box is about 95km for Kuala Lumpur City Center and we took about 1hr plus to reach by car. It is a modest homestay that is not fancy and very down to earth.Generally, the area is decent even though facilities may be a little old. As we only stay for 1 night, while the place may not be the cleanest, it is manageable. A unique and memorable stay close to the paddy fields

First of all, they only allow you to check-in strictly from 3pm onwards. And that is also understandable, but you could at least allow us to use the toilet considering that we came from so far and we travelled long journey.Secondly, the hygiene is poor. There’s stains on the bedsheet, and the whole container room looked like it’s poorly maintained.There’s water stain in the bathroom everywhere, it just looked very old and poorly maintained.The one thing that we couldn’t tolerate is the ?weird or fishy odour coming from either the dustbin or toilet, which is just next to our bed, and it’s so disturbing that my friend couldn’t even sleep well throughout the night.I’ve been here 2 years ago and I had a pleasant experience, maybe MCO happened so the quality has changed drastically? I don’t know.Would definitely not recommend this to anyone until they do necessary upgrades and improvement.Not worth the money at all.

No shelter a long the way to the room at the upper level and from the main entrance

location is right by the road, once entered the road, it feels like youre in a kampung, so lovely. located right on paddy field, come during paddy ripening season, your eyes feasts on a golden view.room is ok for couple or small family. not really sound proof. toilet is a bit dated. careful using hanging items like hooks and mirrors, theyre quite flimsy (at least in my room). in room facility is minimal but suffice, decor ala2 Nordic minimalisthotel facility is adequate with many photo sites. there are swings, outdoor picnic tables and see-saw. can rent bike for biking around paddy field. a small pantry with sink, fridge and water dispenseroverall good budget stay. will come again to view the golden field

Takde iron in each room. Iron ada 7 je. We had rented 3 rooms and couldnt get an iron. If we know it we would’ve being our own.The 2 star on the room is due to the big room in dire state.

Great place to stay. Great paddy field view right in front of balcony. Provide bicycle rental service, enjoy cycling in paddy field.People who afraid of insects might want to take note, there will be plenty of insects in the room since its just beside paddy field, but it was totlaly fine for me.

Overall i enjoyed my stay here since i managed to get a good fave deal but if I could share my view on this place. This is one of the earliest containers that u can find in sekinchan.Unfortunately it definitely deserves some good maintenance for being the OG since they are alot of similar competitors these days but i really like the night light here! Good atmosphereAlso, i like how there are alot of spaces created to hang out! Good stuff

I dont think the picture reflects the real condition of the facilities. Rooms and toilet condition are quite rundown. With stains, cracks on the wall, floor and door. I think you can find a better place than this.

I booked the ground floor room with balcony and highly recommend it! The view from the room to the paddy field is nice. Design of the room was colourful with vintage feel, clean and comfortable with floor carpet. They have a gate to avoid non-hotel guests entering, to increase security. They have water dispenser. I enjoyed a nice experience here.

This padi box is totally overrated, not recommended !Toilet - very dirty with hairs on the floors, moldy walls, smelly toilet, very smallRoom - bed very dirty, my skin feel itchy, room very very small, no space for luggage, and its not worth at this price especially during holiday. TV not working at all.

Padibox is nice place. The staff is friendly. Free wifi provided. The view is nice. Make sure to check first because the green paddy view not available all year round. Just call the receptionist first to make sure. Room is good and comfortable. There is cafe but it is closed due to Covid. Theres room to play pool and video game too. Recommend and price is worth it

Room is clean, cozy n nice. Right beside paddy field. Very nice surrounding. Definitely an Instagrammable place.

Container theme & Chilling place. Recommend my friends to stay here and they love it!!! For people scare of mosquitoes might need to prepare mosquitoes repellent

The surrounding place is nice n okay. But, im quite dissapointed with the room and its amenities. Room was small, tv just have several channels, toilet has lots of stains. Looking at the condition of the room and its amenities, not worth with the price that you have paid.

Small room, no facilities in the room provided (small fridge, mineral water and heaterdespite the pricey price for 1 night. Only 3 tv channel available.

Back 2018, I have stayed at this hotel and this like I am living in the box. There is a restaurant just next to this place but the food options were less and the condition in the room was okay.

Padi Box is a mini homestay good for overnight stay for 1 or 2 nights who like quiteness because there is nothing much to see except padi fields especially at night time. Inside the Padi Box, it has Aircon & other games facilities availabe... For curiosity, you all can try out 1 night stay also will feel quite relaxing night...

Room: clean. Has aircond, water kettle, cups, table n chair. Toilet cleanliness can be improve. No coffe or tea 3in 1 available (best if provided).They offer bicycle for rent - rm10 per hour.Surroundings: call first before booking. N ask either the sawah padi dah tinggi or not. If not, rm150 per night is not worth it.

Interior of the room is quite nice. But we notice quite few insect on bed. Host can take some measure to control it.

We’ve booked 4 pax room with 2 double bed. Very disappointed with the conditions & cleanliness of the room.Dirty toilet with lots of stains, cracked basin. The room is small & unable to open up luggage at all.Beds are dirty, feel so itchy for the whole night. The room rate is not worth for the stay. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Stayed for 1 night when we passby sekinchan,our kids enjoyed staying there, the homestay has nice padi view and cozy ambience, an ideal place for IG post, however the room is relatively small for us (2 adults + 2 kidsbare in mind it was converted from truck container

This is my first experience staying in a container, and Im impressed. The interiors are well furnished, clean and tidy, with bath and toilet, heater, air-conditioned and with balcony which is only less than 3 feet away from the padi field. The place offers an awesome view of the vast padi fields, great sunrise and sunsets can be observed with fine weather. Highly recommended.

I was at the N16 Bus Cafe for grape cheesecake and tea .. Nice view and cosy bus cafe. Creative idea to reuse the old bus as a cafe.

The hotel is clean and have a nice view. The price is reasonable. Have a different feel to stay here. The environment is nice and the weather is cool at night

I have a great staycation during short vacation.Nice place for family bonding, the view was exceptional and awesome.I miss those great views.Nice place to escape hustle bustle of city.Just maybe for the container room need more cleaning and some repaired especially the floor where the bathroom is. It start to rust and absorb water. The cafe still not open during my stay because of MCO and under renovation. the staff also very nice and friendly.I have a great weekend🥰🥰

I love this place. Simple but yet stunning. A container converted into homestay. We booked a double room with balcony. Our room facing the paddy field & it was really soothing get up in the morning with greeny in front of us. The bathroom with shower & toilteries included. Room with aircondition, TV, 2 water bottle, a kettle & 2 cups.

The place is super clean. Keep it up your good work. Only one thing we are not satisfied, its written Saturday got breakfast, but you didnt provide it. The reason is Bulan Puasa. I feel, not only Malays are coming there, Chinese and Indians also choosing your homestay. If there is no breakfast then reduce the charges. Other hotels, even Bulan Ramadan, still giving good breakfast. Only this one thing im feeling not fair as a Malaysian. Thank you.

Cozy and comfortable rooms with a small balcony overlooking lush greenery Paddy fields.We booked ground floor room with balcony, room was very clean, bathroom was also very clean and they do provide a hair dryer.The stay was good here, however, the main attraction of this place is the scenic paddy fields, driving through the not so wide roads, seeing all green paddy fields on both sides, an absolute treat to eyes.This kind of view is only available in certain months, so check with the hotel prior to booking.And not to forget next to Padi Box there is N16 Cafe with an unique concept (Bus converted as a cafe).Overall a great place to stay and enjoy the nature.

Decent budget container hotel with paddy views. The private queen bed room with a private balcony overlooking the paddy field is lovely. There is a family room too. Recommended for peace and quiet gateways in the kampung ❤️

Environment and service overall is good, just that the maintenance for rooms needs improvement as during my stay, there was insects in the room daylight and a mice in my room during the night. All doors and windows were closed, how else would it come in?

I stayed at double queen bedroom. Comfortable, clean room with very soft beds. Aircond working fine, super cool especially night with rainy (happened during our stay). Suitable for family with active kids (my kids like to run here and there). Got table outside which can use to eat while watch sawah padi view (they allow bring food from outside). The staffs and other visitors also very friendly. Overall, pleasure experience staying at this place.

This place is absolutely wonderful. This place is so huge that this is the actual Rice Bowl" of Selangor state. Meaning the padi rice grown from here goes to the plates of everyone. This is not just a paddy field this is also a heaven for photographers like myself. The location so huge and it can be used for beautiful drone shots, scenary photos, pre-wedding, couple shoots and many more. This is definitely as place to visit for every Selangorian. Beware though this is a village and paddy field might have snakes and insects.

Nice location with great view. Room is nice too, but aircond is a bit old. Limited tv program and very blur with noise. Room balcony is the best but too bad the time we were here (early septthe paddy was just harvested. Electric scooter, bicycle available for rental. There is a common space with chairs and small pool table for game. Overall is worth for a stay.

Its a fantastic place for the gram and airconditioning here was off the hook and super necessary for sunny Sekinchan. The colorful container rooms overlooking the golden paddy fields awaiting harvest was an amazing viewpoint. The owners have also taken some efforts putting up swings to perfect the idllyic views available here. Nevertheless, housekeeping was not as detailed as they should have been with an unusable fan and empty water bottles left in our room upon check-in. If they did more to maintain the interiors of the bathrooms and amenities wed have given a higher rating. Still, worth a visit for the amazing views.

Beautiful and Unique. Clean and comfy for getaway weekend. Youll see rice field just at your hotel window, its so tranquil stay there. Although the price may affect your budget, but its good to share the moment with your friends. Food or drinks didnt serve here unfortunately. Parking may be limited.

At first look the place is very pretty, right next to the paddy fields and the very instagrammable No. 16 Bus Cafe. The location is good as its surrounded by gorgeous greens and close to most sightseeing spots in Sekinchan, also close to the little town where all the restaurants and wet market are.However the place is beginning to show signs of running down. The rooms leak after rain, the air-conditioning leak too, the rooms and attached baths have a musty smell likely due to poor ventilation and seldom cleaned air-conds. The sheets smell too.The staff are ok but could do better if they smiled more. No food is provided so please come prepared yourselves.Overall its an ok place to stay for a couple of nights if you like the quiet. Its such a beautiful concept and it would be a waste if more efforts weren’t put in to better maintain the place.

My favourite place to stay at Sekinchan. I’ve been here twice. The rooms are quite unique and the place is very instagrammable. My room opens up to the lush green paddy fields. So beautiful and relaxing! I will be back for sure.

Could have been a good trip, but my car was broke-in during my stay here. There was another car as well. The parking area is here risky at night, not enough lighting and no CCTV installed. Hope the management will look into the security of your guests. Please!

What a lovely place to stay ! Located right beside paddy field with container as room , the room spaces are not reliable but acceptable for a container style room as it can fit 4 adults in one room.Besides,there is also a common hall for guest to chill out (Common hall open at 6pm, guest can chill out with chilling air conditioner inside it and there is also snooker for guest to play. There is also a cafe for guest to have a relaxing time chilling out with a cup of coffee .

Truly love this container box converted colourful hotel by the side of the paddy field. You can hold and feel the green paddy by just sitting on the relax benches. You may also rent the colourful bicycle to have a quiet joyful ride through the wide paddy firld, either they are in their green or golden color. Couple with blue sky and the sound of insects, you got to experience the moment of harmony, peaceful and quiet time either alone or with your family. Highly recommend if you love the quiet and beautiful paddy field environment.

Been here in Sept 2018. Rm128 for a cabin and they called it a budget hotel? Well I guess it depends on your budget😬. Nice quiet place. Sometimes too quiet. Nice view. I love the balcony And private bathroom.

The field is really green this time. Expanded the place. We took the dorm for 8 pax and we really love the concept. Awesome place. Great service too. :)

The place is colourful that you cant missed. The paddy field is just right behind us. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. However there were ants and spider near the window.Bring your own board game as the ones they have is not complete

Loved everything here. A place well decorated and unique in its own way. The family suite was amazing! My kids loved their bunk beds and wouldnt leave it. Beautiful scenery though it wouldve been better if it wasnt harvesting season - everything was brown and harvested when we arrived. Wouldve be great if there was a bean bag in each room to laze in front of the TV. Overall, Id recommend to anyone! Very clean and friendly staff.
