Basic buffet restaurant featuring all-you-can-eat sushi, tempura & American fare.
The cake is a lie. The fat juicy looking steamed fish tastes like there are no seasonings on it. Not even salt! The lo mein noodles look nicely fried but taste as if it was steamed and also barely has any taste.if anything, it taste like oil! Only oil! The raw salmon and other 🍣 taste like its super old. Even with a lot of soy sauce, there is a very strong aftertaste of something bitter. Any california roll that i tasted had an overwhelming avocado taste.i was basically eating plain avocado and rice! The chocolate cake is way too dry it made my mouth feel like a desert. The spring rolls taste like boiled cabbage ...thats all. The sauces provided couldnt even save the poor roll. Never coming here again. I heard this buffet isnt as good as it used to be after pandemic.... but....this is too different.
They need to do something about the fly problem stat! Old food is mixed in with fresh food & hibachi grill is gross. Dumplings, wings & fried shrimp would be awesome if they didnt overcook them. Bok choy (when availableis great as is the coconut shrimp. Salt, pepper, soy sauce needs to be back on tables. Hot tea in pots would be nice.
This buffet is ok but I thought the food tasted really bland. They do have a huge selection of different foods. Price is ok
The food was good and the selection was good. For the amount of food and taste, the $16 each is not bad. Drinks not included in that price. Though didnt have oysters though, disappointing. They didnt have fried plantains either. They used to have both these items. Also, I dont know why but they put the most popular items all on one end of the bar instead of spreading it out across this huge buffet bar they have. This caused a long line because of the concentration of people in one area. It was very busy and the A/C was not turned down enough. When the customer population increases, the A/C needs to be set lower. People do not like to sweat when they eat. Overall, as far as price and food quality go it was good.
Food is always good and so much of it! Sushi is fresh and plentiful..cold shrimp on the bar is a plus and ice cream at the end. Best buffet around and we will continue to come back! Thank you, Pacific!
This place used to be a good staple buffet with a pretty good sushi selection. It is terrible now! LONG lines for the food, the American side of food is basically nonexistent with left over food crusted to the pans. The mac n cheese didnt even look good. The sushi was also really poorly stocked.I used to really like this buffet but it was absolutely not worth it. I will not return. I suggest you dont waste your money.
Its been a while since the last time I visited here with my family. I had excellent service and the staff that attended was friendly. It does get crowded during the weekends but its worth it for different type of food they have displayed. $17 and something cents during the weekend today per person.
I love this place. The food it good and it is consistently good. Thats hard to find at some buffets.
Worse service ever. I even called before going eat to make sure they had the dish I come for. The manager said yes, we have it now. Got there and no coconut shrimp. So it was 3:40 and it was coming out at 4. So we waited. Then they decided to charge us the dinner price instead of lunch. Guess Ill find me another place they have it. Everything else was dried out and tasted horrible anyways!
Really, this was quite good! Don’t be swayed by the buffet concept. The cold food was cold, the hot food hot. The sushi was NOT heavy on rice, as one might expect from an AYCE sushi buffet. There’s a wide selection of fresh and fried foods. It’s cheap eats.
Ive recently discovered this buffet restaurant. Ive gone maybe 5 times and most say I like it a lot. Their staff is very friendly. I wish they had more flexibility with food selection. Maybe add more plates. Sushi selection is great! Please add some desserts and you will have many more happy returning customers. I would still give it 5 stars!
Satisfies the craving for east Asian food. The sushi is normally good and fresh, but if I ever look at the raw fish and question it, I just pass on it.The hot items are good. Do not come here expecting fancy, made to order (even though there is a hibachi station), or the freshest of things. Keep expectations where they should and youll leave very happy and stuffed.
The restaurant was clean and organized. I was a little frustrated when I asked if they had any white rice and the guy pointed to the fried rice and walked away. But its a buffet so I understand that things rotate, etc.
Pretty dependable buffet for decent cheap sushi and Asian fare. They have wings, chicken fingers and pizza for the kids too. Dont expect everything to taste top tier, but some good choices.
Excellent food excellent selection good service even forgot my kids hat there and they put it up for me came back and got it two days later
Pretty good food and cheap, lots of different sushi options. Dessert is subpar but thats not why youd come here in my opinion so 5 stars from me, I liked the food options and it obviously fills you up.
Ok but why is there food so good omg 😩 we were heading back to missouri and we were tired and hungry and was desperately looking for somewhere to eat. Then we came across this place and YALL THE FOOD IS IMMACULATE. Nothing like what we have in missouri. Also there’s incredibly cheap for to go box prices compared to other places. I want to just buy a plane ticket to have the chance to go eat there again. And they don’t have fortune cookies as they should. 💅🏽
Meh… decent.. but just ok. Many of the buffet items were not all that fresh or flavorful… as with a lot of buffets… looks better than it is
Not up to our expectations but the sushi bar was excellent. The food items were not that tasty or may be it was fathers day a wrong day to visit. The disappointment was in so many food items which were not cooked the way it should. This has been our favorite family buffet to visit. May be in ordinary days the food items might be well served. The deserts were great and worth eating. Once again the sushi bar was one of the best experiences we ever had.
Haven’t been here since prior to Covid and prior to Covid it wasn’t the greatest like when they first opened. Once you enter the restaurant it had a weird stench smell. I’m assuming it was because the water in their pond and lack of air flow in the front. Went recently around 6:30pm on a Thursday. The amount of food was not abundant. Fruits served was old but cut and served for customers. Limited desserts or has been sitting there for the longest. Definitely gone down hill with flavor, cleanliness and options. I won’t be back.
It’s 16.99 a person then including tax it’s about like 19 per person and the food was TERRIBLE like I tried to give it multiple chances. The hibachi steak was 0/10, the corn 0/10 no flavor then I decided to try it again with the crawfish and it was still a 0/10. The crawfish was okay but it didn’t really have any flavor and the shrimp was mid like the skin was stuck to the shrimp as if it’s been sitting a while. The only thing that was good was the lo míen hibachi and it was depending on the person and there was barely any lo míen. The fries was the only thing everyone enjoyed. I would personally never come back waste of money. Our server was the best she made the experience better and made sure we were good she refilled the water before it was even out and cleared our plates. Her name was May :)
The food here is pretty good. If you like seafood then you need to visit on a Sunday evening. Unlimited crab legs, shrimp, and more. If you arent a seafood fan then its probably not the best place for you as the other food is a bit more bland... But its still edible, maybe bring some salt.
We love this place! The food is great except they use a lot of Bell peppers and my husband is allergic to them. But other than that its Fantastic!!! Plus its a beautiful place with nice restrooms and a coy pond with waterfalls inside the main entrance!
Food is really good, when they do bring it out fresh. Understanding it’s a buffet and you run the risk of old food.
Food used to be great, theyve really dropped the ball, stale offerings that are not being rotated. Not fresh. Im not looking for the best bang for my buck (though price went up toojust a fresh and decent variety
Good variety of food for the budget-minded family dinner. This place is not for the food conusiur, but the sushi is decent, the Asian food variety is good, and then some American food is also available.
Always delicious and a variety of American and Chinese food. Didnt too much care for the potstickers and the texture of the black pepper chicken. And once our individual tickets and method of payments were given to the server a white gentleman sitting across from our table reminded me to get the senior discount he says you have to ask for it they wont suggest it he says to a dollar discount I thanked him and when the server came back to give us our cards back I ask her about the senior discount she says oh no its only fifteen cents and the gentleman is shaking his head and repeats that it is a dollars but she insist the discount is only fifteen cents. Her offer of fifteen cents reflected her tip with me she only came to the table once to remove the dishes and pour up another glass of tea after I told her I only wanted a half of glass. Now I know to ask in advance about the senior discount especially when the gentleman said with certainty that it was a dollar but if told fifteen cents again I will definitely take my business elsewhere. We always frequent the place in numbers.
The most different flavors of Jello Ive seen at any Asian buffet. Plus cherry compote bananas! There is a HUGE kids or not Asian section. The wasabi was great!
My son got diarrhea for 2 days after eating here. Food tasted like rotten meat. Their ice cream was re-frozen too (you can look under the cup to see). They might had a power issue and their meat gone bad that day.
Food is okay. You will get your moneys worth. Not clean. Barely wiped off tables with a used wet rag. Place need a upgrade on decor.
3 years ago 5 star. Today disappointed. Shrimp was mushy and crawfish too. Both were over cooked crawfish and shrimp tasted like water. I may wait 3 more years and try again... disappointed they were my #1 were!
16.99 or so per adult dinner guest. The American food they serve is not worth the money spent, but may satisfy a young child who may not mind watery mashed potatoes and dry Mac and Cheese. The sushi is what you would expect of a typical buffet so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you enjoy stomach troubles from eating unidentifiable warm raw fish. The Chinese food is average. The only dish worth mentioning by name is the honey chicken as it was fresh and tasty. The salad bar was severely lacking even by the most minimal standards. You had lettuce, egg, onions and maybe two other veggies to choose from. They did have a hibachi to order option, but I didn’t partake in it so I can’t review it fairly. The fruit selection was varied and decent quality. The dessert was the usual dried out cake squares and individual cups of chocolate, vanilla or strawberry ice cream. The bathrooms were disgusting and lacking basic supplies such as TP in all, but two stalls. Some stalls were also missing locks. If you’re local and need a cheap place to get full quick then this place can do the trick.
Took my son on a Saturday afternoon. It was terrible. For 15.99 per person plus nearly 3 for drinks it was one of the worst meals I ever ate.I found 2 things that tasted allright and they were cold. The only advice I can give after a 40.00 dinner that I didnt eat is if your passing by this dump keep driving
Pacific buffet is one of those consistent places that we go to eat regularly, the food is always the same quality, the buffet always has the same things we like to eat. And there are many choices to explore if you want multiple items for any meal. Our drinks are always full, they pull your used plates from the table quickly, and the staff is always polite.
This place used to be good pre covid. Its gone WAY down hill since then. The sushi is not good. If you like authentic sushi, dont be cheap and eat here! The customer service is good though, always is. The actual American Chinese is pretty good. It is a typical Chinese buffet, nothing special. I hope they become better again.
$16 per adult at dinner, kids are discounted by age but very reasonable. They also have several kid friendly dishes in addition to many American items. And or course the Chinese buffet is awesome, fresh, and has several varieties of options! Fresh sushi on the board and they will amke it for you too!
I thought the place was fairly grungy starting with the water feature which needed cleaned. The variety of food was blah for the size of the restaurant. Ambiance also gets a blah. Food, also blah. Seafood, fish, sushi and some American food. I didn’t eat the sushi or shrimp because I was a bit afraid it might be old. paranoid… possibly. Desserts were below blah. But that’s typical of Asian restaurants in general. I won’t go back.
I love coming to this place with my kids. I was disappointed for the first time. The sushi section was horrible. The gentleman that makes the sushi was busy on his phone instead of doing his job. Hardly any sushi was made and it was after 11:30 close to lunchtime. I think if this happens again, I am going somewhere else.
Even with some not-so-positive reviews, we decided to give a chance to get to know the restaurant. I really liked the food and the service. It pays much more to go for the lunch buffet for the price. It has a lot of variety, seafood, sushi and desserts. The ice cream is very tasty and I recommend it. Its not the tastiest food but its worth the cost benefit of the price for the amount of food.
I have to say that this place is full of tasty and filling foods to defeat your appetite. They used to have more choices (but its a Sunday so that may be why there were fewer choicesbut I still think its worth it if you eat more than one tiny plate. They ALWAYS have sushi and for it to be unlimited its worth it. I didnt manage to snap any pictures this visit but I WILL return. Staff has always been friendly during my visits and moderately attentive even when busy. I enjoyed a little bit of everything they had and the 1 item I didnt even swallow was the steak. DO NOT EAT STEAK! Its not even close to Golden Corral or other places. It should go without saying but the American foods are for the children who wont eat sushi and the other entrées. My favorites were sweet and sour chicken, sushi(different rolls),honey chicken, mushrooms, peel and eat shrimp and coconut shrimp. The cocktail sauce has a serious kick and I LOVE cocktail sauce personally and still was like WOW!!
Good experience for all you can eat ,sushi was good specifically, rest of food was good too, their fruits bar were not good they have bad smell. But overall good food ,staff was helpful, mask was mandatory which is good thing, calm and neat
There is a large number of choices for food. However the food was average compared to other Buffett locations. Based on the Asian theme I expected a larger selection of asian dishes.
Pacific buffet en Barret parkway an incredible place. It is pretty and the food is spectacular. Love their variety in Sushi, sauces and such a wide variety of food to choose. My family and I loved everything about it. My son certainly made a great choice bringing us here. Try it!! You will not regret it.
After reading the mixed reviews, we decided to give it a shot and try it for ourselves. This place exceeded our expectations. The buffet was great. Fresh food on the buffet that all tasted great. I tried a lot of different items and didnt dislike any of them. The sushi was great as well. There were a lot of different rolls to choose from and all were good. The service was friendly and attentive. Price was on par for a buffet on a Saturday night. Style was quite eclectic and maybe a bit dated. That could stand to clean their carpets but otherwise everything else was great. You could see into the kitchen area where it was pretty clean for the volume they were pumping out and they were cleaning as they went.
Waitress too all the food I cant say anything bad about any of itBest sushi Ive ever eaten at a Chinese buffet, I will be back
Pretty decent Asian buffet. Plenty of sushi to choose from and good to eat. Three different salads available were good. Bums, sweet buns, sesame chicken, veggies and a lot more. They also have some American food like pizza, Mac and cheese and more. Nice dessert option, pudding, cookies, ice cream, fruit, etc. The seater was friendly and paying and splitting the bill was easy. I would return.
We love this place! My 10 year old daughter loves the sushi bar. :We dont get to go nearly as much as we like but visited this past Saturday. Never a wait to be seated as it is a big place! Clean. Food is always hot and fresh and so flavorful! Wait staff never lacks in keeping your glasses full. Thank you!
One of the best Chinese restaurants we have ever been to. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was fresh. They have a variety of food available. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely the best buffet Ive ever been to. Greatest selection of sushi combined with its taste quality. Paid $11.99 on Saturday night. Totally worth of money paid.
This is a awesome place to chow down on endless seafood or your simple favorites! They have the biggest and best sushi buffet Ive ever seen! Plus for the price you definitely cant beat it! $11.99 on Thanksgiving and when I went before at lunch it was only $8.99!! That awesome!! The wait services is also very attentive! This is my favorite place is Marrietta!
