Totally different after the recent shut down… double the prices and staff is mostly new… the good folks have gone. Be cautious on your next visit… a bit of greed has taken over

service was okay apart from they forgot a few of our drinks. our clothes stunk of smoke after because of the indoor smoking. a few games avaliable (jenga etc.)

This is definitely one of my favorite places to end up with friends when looking to have a chill drunk night. The bartenders are always friendly and easy to talk to.Its not your usual "nice" and high end looking bar with expensive cocktails though. Instead, this is a great place to play pool, cards and to be loud with your friends.I will always have a special love for this place for all the good memories Ive had here with my good friends!Thanks!

Sports bar style pub with a great drink menu, pool table and darts. Owner interacts with customers and ensures they are having a great time and the bartenders are very friendly and kind.

Cheap drinks in a grungy back alley pub

Great pub environment. sports on TV good music playing, lots of friendly patrons. The bar staff are really friendly and upbeat

I came to this place with the famous Taipei Pub Crawl hosted by the company called TourMeAway.This bar is located on a street known for its long history as a first ever American pub street in Taiwan. Also, it’s surrounded by the “talking bars” which refer to the bar where you can buy a drink for the girls to have them chat with you.Strongly recommended this old school rock and roll vintage bar here in Taipei! Even more fun if you come with the pub crawl gang!

Nice bar/pub. Quite a few bar games available, service is friendly, drinks prices okay. Smoking inside is allowed, good for some, I guess. Probably a good place to brush up your Dutch, if thats your thing...

A western corner in Taipei. Typical pub with international customers. Good beers, sport at the TV and very nice waitresses

A nice bar near my hotel. Friendly staff. Meet some new friends. Great atmosphere. They have a nice size terrace to sit outside if you desire.

A real bar. No bar fine. No minimum fees. Just a good place to have a drink, talk, and play pool or darts.Really a good spot.

Its a pub. Good drinking hole with friendly services.

Wonderful place to hang out with your hommies

I like this place because it feels like a dive bar. But they are super pushy to the point of rudeness about a minimum. 13 people show up and are sure to spend enough to meet their minimum per person but theyre going to hound you anyway until you do. A bit uncomfortable in that respect.

This place was shite. Drinks were expensive and not very good. Cocktails had negligible amounts of alcohol tasted more like lime water with a bit of rubbing alcohol. Bar manager tried to over charge us for our drinks and for additional drinks we did not order. She eventually brought us the right bill but then didnt give us all of our change back. When I asked another waitress if they expect tips here, she said no and the other lady all but through our change back us and told us it was our fault for confusing her. Lots of disgusting fat American slobs who like to pick on the waitresses for not having proficient enough english. Probably better to find some place else. You can do much better for your money and time.

Grungy foreigner bar with cheap beer, free billiards, darts and foosball. A bit smoky but a great time.

A dive bar with everything you need. Darts, foose ball, and pool. Just be careful when paying your bill. They sometimes use an esoteric method of calculating your tab.

Old American style bar, good aura

1 bottle of local beer for 160NTD? Minimum charge 200NTD? Non-working AC so that all my clothes smell like smoke? No thank you.

Great dive. In the evenings, it always has airline aircrew in relax mode. That says it all, when pilots regular a bar. They travel the world looking for a laid back, no hassle place like this.

Great staff, awesome owner, amazing food, and the closing thing to a dive bar that youd find in Taiwan that resembles those that occupy the states.

Great dive bar. Hard to find in Asia. Happy hour has 100nt beer and goes until 9 I believe. Nice mellow atmosphere thats not too loud.

This is the closest thing to a good American dive bar that I have found in Taiwan. Great pool players, free pool, super friendly staff and reasonable prices. I travel from Banqiao, past 100 other bars. Its that kinda good.

I dont know what kinda of "sport" bar this is. Just some stupid guys occupied pool table whole night. Even you put your name on the board, it wont be your turn to play tho. Cuz you need to battle with those stupid guys. You cant just play with your friend even just one round. Only winner can keep playing. Ps. Ive asked for the waiter there. He agreed with them. Then my suggestions would be take off that ridiculous board tho. Cuz its useless. To the ppl wanna have fun and play pool, go to the other bars would be the best choice.
