Ordered through ubereats a pepperoni and chorizo pie nothing to special didnt taste the chorizo

Owner is awesome and they have great food. My girlfriend and I had a blast. Nice selections of beer wine and spirits. Food was great and the service was impeccable. I recommend this place to all who visit the island.

I was told over the phone 1 pizza would be 39.00 (La Argentina plus a topping).Pizza arrived half an hour late (waited an hour and a half total). Delivery driver said the total was 45.00. Called to ask why it was more than I was quoted, I was rudely told they were closed.Pizzas pretty good cold though.

This was the first time I ever had shrimp pizza and my waitress was definitely worth the time she did things that she shouldnt even do just to make sure I was comfortable I rate this place a 10 with a 5 being the most

Good flavor, but way too much cheese! In New York, its considered extra cheese-- which I never order. I ordered a personal sized, thin crust, garlic and tomatoes pie. I got a thick crusted pie with whole roasted garlic (theyre usually slicedand tiny bits of tomatoes (theyre usually sliced). Also, the pie could have stayed in the oven longer. Other than that, pleasant staff and good tasting pizza. I would go there again, but Id try to give better instructions.

Even though this is an unassuming pizza shop my family always comes here when we are in San Juan. They are kind and make wonderful pizza and calzones.

I couldnt even truly experience this place because we called 3 times and got hung up on 3 times. Heard "Gimme a second" each time, then 10 minutes later, click. Called way before curfew too. Im basically only leaving this review because ANot great business practice. Give me a reason, dont just hang up, and BTo let others know, because there are likely a ton of people wondering what they can do with all the restrictions right now. Call at 7 at the latest, and hope you dont get put on hold

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I order one pizza (for which they charged me $37but only delivered 2 HOURS after the time I placed the order. I actually called after 1.5 hours waiting and they hang up on my face after I complained. They showed up 30 min later and I refused to pay for cold pizza. They turned around and left my hotel.UPDATE: their reply is a LIE and that is no evidence. My phone call to order the pizza was at 10:05. If they logged in my order later than that it’s on them. So I am counting from the time I called to place my order. Next, I waited at the lobby of my hotel for over 20 min after the last time I contacted them. The manager of my hotel said: They need to just give this pizza to you at this point. And this is how good customer service works. Which is clearly a concept with which they are not familiar. The pizza was cold because I held the box. NOT PAYING FOR COKD OVER PRICED PIZZA DELIVERED 1 HOUR AFTER THE AGREED TIME OF 1 HOURS ALREADY TO HAVE IT DELIVERED.

My call was disconnected in the middle of the order....As i was attempting to call in and try againThe restaurant was calling me back. Apologizing. And finishing the order.My god im so impressed.As a GM of a restaurant for 10 years and a business owner.... Im thoroughly impressed.Without the food yet.... Still a 5 star rating.

I dont have any pictures but I ordered a calzone and it was absolutely delicious. The staff member w also friendly and my order was made in a timely manner. If youre in the area definitely check them out.

We recently revisited PJs (formerly Mikesand clearly Mike is needed. This place has not fared very well under new management and was truly disappointing...Ambiance: The dining (seatingarea looked really tired and worn, the hallway into the kitchen has dirty finger prints from staff hitting thier hands on it and while eating there is a really horrible smell that lingers... NOT COOL!***The ambiance is LITERALLY what killed this experience for us, so beyond gross***Food: Pizza was alright, cant say Id eat here again... after looking at how bad the front is kept, I would be frightened to see anything in the back.Staff: Waiter was really quick, knowledgeable and all smiles, however, the rest of the staff looked tired, unhappy and exhausted, like the walking dead, dragging by ever so often.Overall: Seriously, PROCEED WITH CAUTION

Ditto on great staff. I ordered a large tonic and lime; usually get a little bottle. Here, a 20 oz glass of bar tonic and Two slices of lime. Decent pie, medium Mediterranean, 3 meals.

Really good pizza (loved the crust, which was both crispy and chewy). Kitchen a little slow, but worth the wait if youre not in a rush.

Stay away from this place. I recently went with friends. Big order: a pizza, pastas, tenders, appetizers. You name it. I don’t believe we’ve ever tasted anything this bad. The pastas were tasteless and bland. The tenders were borderline burnt and crusty, also with horrible taste. The least bad was the pizza, which we ate cause we were very hungry, but we pretty much dumped out the rest. The mozzarella sticks felt like we were chewing plastic. Being a place directly across one of the most fancy hotels in the area, we expected a lot better. Staff was friendly though.

I ordered from PJs from my hotel, I had the meatza calzone and a Dr Pepper. They were fast getting my order and the food was amazing. The portion size was huge enough for 2 people. I would definitely recomend this restuarant.

I gave 5 stars based off the service and friendliness of staff. I ordered a cheeseburger and was given a bacon cheese burger, topped with a mound of shredded bacon. I dont eat bacon but didnt want to make a fuss so i simply scraped it off and asked for a new slice of cheese since bacon was all stuck in the cheese I had. The waiter immediately went to get me a new slice of cheese. When I hit my burger back, I took a big bite to fund it was red all the way through (I asked for well doneagain, I didnt want to make a fuss so i just ate it as was. My husband ordered pizza and wings, we had to ask where the wings were when our food was served, it was obvious they had forgotten them, but through it all the staff remained friendly and polite despite all the mistakes.

Super friendly young man at front taking orders. The pizza was ok but ask for a combination with no sausage and cook made it with sausage. The crust was good but the pizza was not sóoooo good.

Disappointed with another corrupt place In Puerto rico. Called to place an order and was told $22.22 then when delivered was told $33.22. Paid for the pizza just not to argue but after trying a slice I wish I would have just cancelled it. DO NOT EAT FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT, UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF. I did not expect to find one of the best pizzas Ive ever eaten in San Juan, but the concierge at our hotel recommended it and we stopped by to try a bite. The flavors are fresh and delicious, and the ingredients high quality. The shining star is the crust, which is the perfect balance of chewy and tender. Honestly among the best pizzas Ive eaten.

Our family lives off of pizza so obviously we had to find a good place while on vacation in Puerto Rico. Crust was nice and fluffy and there was a fair share of toppings however we weren’t crazy about the sauce. They deliver to the hotels and meet you in the lobby which was nice as well. Overall not bad.

PJs is great! We stayed at the Coronado Plaza for a week and ate here for 3 different meals. We only had the pizza, but it was delicious. We are upstate New Yorkers who love pizza and these pizzas had a fantastic, crunchy, thinner crust. It also has oil and garlic on the crust. Each time we got a large cheese and a large mixed sweet pepper and red onion. The two pizzas fed 5 adults and 3 kids. Awesomeness. We had a large group each time and we were easily and quickly accommodated to dine inside. Everyone was polite each time and we got our drinks and pizza in a very timely manner. Its walkable from the Coronado Plaza.

Short walk from the Comfort Inn down the block. Had pizza for lunch before the Cruise and after we returned. Great Pizza. We each had a slice which is $5/each. I had the meat lovers and my wife Mushroom & Italian Sausage. The single slices are a generous size and keep me from eating an entire pizza when my wife only has one slice. Slice, Medium and Large are the only options. Great service.

This place has excellent pizza and I made pizzas for many years. Casual and friendly. I come here everytime Im back. They also have a really good housemade Salsa Picante. Sorry no pix.

Ordered the combination calzone and a slice of pepperoni pizza and both were delicious. They were both served so hot we burned our mouths. It truly is hard to wait when there is hot pizza in front of you and youre hungry. Service was quick and friendly and the establishment was clean. Its also right TV across from our hotel which is very convenient if youre staying in the Condado area.

I only review when I have exceptional or terrible experiences. This one has been the worst pizza I’ve had in the island. The garlic bread was served cold the cocktails were repugnant and even tho we return both without touching them they still add them to the bill. Go to any pizza place in the area but this one.

Ordered delivery a Tuesday night. She said it would take less than 50 minutes but she has to say 50. It didnt. Took an hour and 10 minutes. I called to check on it and she was very rude too. The pizza arrived so late and cold. It was the way we ordered it and the flavor wasnt bad but not great either.

I called for a delivery of two slices of meat fest and two slices of veggies, I asked them to pack em separate, in two sifferent bags, cooked seperate. I ate my slices but when my husband ate his, it had meat on them. I got into a very heavy argument, and the pizza ended up in the trashcan. I wish for the next customers that ask you to truly make a vegetable pizza, no meat ends up in them ruining an attempt of afternoon niceness.

It was delicious. From the rolls to the chicken wings in that good bbq sauce, and thats no my favorite, to the delicious pizza. Th environment was cozy and the people were wonderful. Thanks Brian and Javi.

If heaven had a pizza form PJs would have been the one to make it. Although I should let it be know the fact that I had been swimming before and was starving may make me biased or maybe it was just the plantains on our pizza. The food was delivered in a reasonable time to our table (given the fact I was with a large group and it was served hot together), the waiter was polite and happy to serve us, and most importantly everything was delicious. I will definitely be returning soon.

Ordered food and after 35 min never received the food. Asked how long it takes to make a salad and wings..the printer broke is the explanation. Loved eating at the place many times before incident. The waitress didnt even ask for a drink selection and no silverware to table

If you want a New York style pizza, this is the place to go! Also the best calzones and strombolis! No parking though.

This place used to be called mikes and back then they served a decent pizza however it got bought by a new owner and it is now horrible!I ordered an individual pizza delivery which was 15 dollars, an amount I have no problem paying for if the pizza were half decent. what I got was "half of a pizza" Which was 6 slices that make dominos slices look large. And if that was not enough it seemed to have been made hours ago and was salty and dry. My discription does it injustice though because truth be told I can not describe how patheticly awful it was.We called the store and talked to the owner to which he did not seem to care and thought it was acceptable that I received a not freshly made pizza.I would be crazy to order from here again or not type a review to let other people know, stay away from this awful place.

Wife and I shared a great half hamburger & bacon pizza, locally sourced beef and bacon, more than adequate cheese, friendly service, and fillied with local clientele, who are obviously loyal returning cudtomers. Will return before we leave to try the tempting local beef burgers we saw at the next table.

Excellent pizza but order a half pie unless you have a large party - very liberal toppings, delicious and the service was above average. They have a full bar and reasonable prices all the way around.

I am from NYC and wanted a piece of pizza. I didnt think I would find a good slice. PJs pizza blew me away. The salad portion was amazing and the salad was fresh and tasty. The pizza beat most pizzerias at home and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The servers were genuinely friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. I love this place.

I would have given them a 4 or 5 based on the food alone but I had a negative experience with the service. We ate calzones and they were wonderful. You could easily share one between two people. However, the customer service...The door clearly says they take MasterCard. We had spent the day at the beach and were walking back to our hotel and saw this place along the way. We had two credit cards, our ids, and our room keys with us and that was it. AFTER we had eaten and asked the for the check, they went to ring us up. Then they brought back our ticket and said their credit machine was down and we had to pay in cash. Well, we had been at the beach and were not carrying any. We showed them what we had with us. They held my ID and basically said "well you need to go get some cash" though as politely as they probably could be. The girl at first was apologetic. But they didnt offer to take my card info and bill it later or do anything at all for that matter. So I figured, ok, I guess we can walk the half mile back to the hotel and another half mile back to bring them cash. Came back within 45 minutes. No apology, no discount for the VERY large inconvenience, no "thank you for going out of your way." No NOTHING. This was actually just downright rude in my opinion. Anywhere else, they would have comped the meal because of their own system failure or offered a discount or gratis of some sort. Certainly should not expect a customer to walk a mile to pay cash bc their machine is down after the fact. Rude. Terrible customer service.

Good New York style pizza. Italian salad was great, as well as the meatballs. Decent little pizza joint for reasonable prices. Limited seating was open, and pizza can take a bit, but worth the wait. Well be going back.

During my stay in PR my friends and I wanted Pizza two days in a row. Day 3 we discovered Mikes Pizza and enjoyed a slice of pizza and a cup of cream of broccoli soup. OMG, the food was plentiful, fresh, cooked to order and very tasty and the service was fast. Although we only ate pizza based on the looks of other customers orders other items are just as good, maybe better.

We needed a late night dinner option around 10pm and Mikes was close and open. We ate our pizza there. The pizza was terrific and we enjoyed the fact that it was sold by the slice as well as whole. During the day it seems packed with customers so expect a wait.

Best pizza in town!!!! The taste is wonderful, all ingredients are fresh. The best New York style pizza you can eat in Puerto Rico. The prices are affordable, and the place its small but well organized and clean.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza expecting it to be cooked like a normal pizza should be. What we got was a pizza that had pepperoni placed on top after the cheese portion was cooked and heated. I had them send it back to crisp up the pepperoni, but that just made everything else overcooked. I dont know if this is the way they normally make them or they just took a cheese pizza made for slices and put pepperoni on top. The pizza might have tasted better had it been cooked properly.

Mikes was highly recommended by my cab driver. So I was highly disappointed when I was greeted by a rude young lady the gentleman who too my order tried to convince me I had to order a large pie until I open the menu and discovered I could just order it by the 1/2. After refunding me for a large and placing my order for the 1/2 the pie was cold and the crust was burnt on the bottom!! Im in town to purchase a vacation home once this is accomplished never to return because I am highly confident this behavior was intentional!!

Some of the best meatballs I have had! Ordered the meatball calzone and it was gigantic -enough to feed 2 people. It was so cheesy and the crust delectable. I also ordered the shrimp Alfredo fettuccine. The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. The sauce was bland even though the pasta was nice and al dente. They had a good selection of beers.
