Elegant dining space serving traditional Indian dishes as such lamb masala & curry, plus cocktails.
We just had a dinner here. The food was really good and service was on top.
Service was good. I didnt find a lot of the flavors I was looking for when eating my food. It was almost there but not quite.
This was the worst experience I’ve had at this restaurant. I am ashamed that Indians are running this establishment and people are supporting it.1. There was no soap in both the men’s and women’s toilet. We asked them to replenish it and they didn’t do it. While we were there 3 members of the staff including who appeared to be the manager went into the toilet. I am disgusted that the food was served by these people who didn’t wash their hands before serving the food to us - we obviously boxed and threw away.2. My friend is vegan and the waiter didn’t know the vegan options so he asked the manager to come and the manager refused to come so the waiter asked for another waiter to help who helped us with vegan options3. I ordered Choley Bhature and the bhaturas were some weird small kulcha type pieces. Not real bhaturas.
Flavorful, fresh, quick service, strong drinks, and amazing Korma. The lamb was incredibly tender and the spices were perfect.
Great Food! Everything tastes great. Its not greasy, tastes the same when it first opened. Highly recommend Indian food. People that work there are super nice as well
Been coming here for a while. The food and prices used to be better. But the last couple times weve ordered - butter chicken and lamb saag - the food was almost too salty to be edible, particularly the saag. Two orders of butter chicken and two orders of lamb saag cost us just shy of $100... Which seems a little steep, especially for overly salty food. You could get better elsewhere. Have given Pind a few too many shots and probably wont be back. What a shame.
We ordered more than 10 dishes online to celebrate with family. Two dishes were not delivered (strike one). The Store manager "Prince" said he can not cancel the order or refund for the dishes he asked us to pick up the food. We had to drive there even though we had paid big tip& delivery. He (Princewas not even apologetic and did not offer any complimentary dish/coupon for our troubles and tried to blame it on delivery person (Strike two). Worst is yet to come - when we open our order instead of "Saag Paneer" We found "Saag Chicken" (Strike three). The vegetarian dish was for elderly person in the family who does not eat meat. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. We dont recommend this place.
We ordered veg kurma and garlic naan and in starters we ordered veg platter along with drinks. Overall food was very delicious. I am willing to try more from their Menu.
Terrible experience. Party of 2 stood and waited no less than 5 minutes to be recognized while 4 staff were standing around. One of them walked by us 3 times without even acknowledging. Finally, he came by and asked how many. He then went off for another few minutes before taking us to our table. He tried to sit us in the back corner in a tiny booth. Refused to let us sit in a larger booth by the window when multiple larger booths were open and the restaurant wasn’t busy. We opted to walk out and, on the way out, one of the other staff did offer us a larger booth. However, our experience was already ruined at this point so we thanked and moved on. Original staff member was extremely rude and had no manners whatsoever. Won’t be back.
One of my favorite Indian restaurant!!100 points!!The waiters are so polite and always give the best recommendation 🌟
Food was awesome! Will definitely be returning. Very reasonably priced and portions were ample.
Consistently solid Indian cuisine, great service, prices could be better but I always go home with leftovers and they always get eaten.Often, in my experience, a less packed restaurant in the area, which surprises me because its better food, or at least more accurate as far as I know, than other restaurants at Loudoun One.Great for a date, or your family, or a party (nearly every time I go, someone has at least 10 people in a party). If nothing else, its served me as a fairly reliable back up!Only drawback is for me, a white dude, trying to get food spicy enough that I feel it (and regret it later- but thats also on me, as I have not worked out a way to get food of any cuisine as spicy as it should be served without the chef either taking it as a personal challenge to kill me with capsaicin, or ignoring me and still giving me "America-spicy" levels of spice. I asked for it "hot" today, got like maybe Mexico-medium at best, was really hoping for Indian medium or hot.
Giving 3 stars. Chicken in Butter chicken is too hard but gravy is good.. and Dahi puri is not good.. panner butter masala is great.. breads are good
Beautiful inside. Food was amazing! Service was great
Ordered online at 6pm through the portal on the Pind website, confirming a 7:30 pickup. I walked in at 7:30 and was told that my food would be right out. I waited for over 35 minutes in the restaurant, periodically asking about the status of my food with the constant reassurance that it "was coming". When it was finally handed to me, there was no apology or mention of the reason for the delay. Even if the order got deleted from their system or someone else had taken my food, there was plenty of time to box up a fresh order while I waited. When I finally got home, I opened the bag and realized they had not given me everything that I ordered. Since, admittedly, they were very busy that night I called the following day and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager asking about a potential refund for (at minimumthe food I paid for and didnt receive and was told that they would call me right back with next steps. Two hours later I called them back and was told that the manager wasnt actually working that day and that I would receive a call the following day to discuss the issue. I still have no idea who the first person I spoke to was or why they would tell me that they were in charge.Frustrating to say the least. The quality of the food wasnt worth the process of actually getting it, especially since I didnt receive what I ordered in the first place. Wont be ordering from here again.Update: I received a call from a manager at this location a week later and was offered store credit or a refund. I took the refund. Adjusting this review to 3 stars based on their willingness to make things right, but still unlikely to go back due to my experience.
One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at. Service was excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant My must go when in Virginia.
Was our way to IAD and stopped for dinner before flying. Food was okay. It the service could have been batter. Definitely Customer service need improvements.4 starts for food two starts for service average ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Food taste is delicious. No complaints. Quantity is good for the price. Service is ok. We have drinks also available on the menu. The restaurant is located in the One Loudoun, prime area. Seems to be the only Indian restaurant around One Loudoun. Restaurant is spacious and ambience is good. Might need to reserve your seat over weekend.
Very nice food and great service and staff but cottage cheese was too hard and tastelessEdit:This was me 2 years ago.I went there today after 2 years. Worst food I have ever had, really bad service and extremely expensive. The prices have gone 50% higher and food taste and quality has gone 100% down. Barely one thing out of 10 things we ordered was edible.
The food was fantastic the service was good and was when I came to this restaurant the restaurant was busy but the staff was good and food service was good too I order panner tika ,and dal tarka was good I am vegetarian so they have some more options in vegetarian I really want to visit again and I recommend this restaurant to everyone
Overall pretty good. Food is delicious. Would have liked a bit more of a " Wow Factor" flavor wise. But overall delicious. Coconut lime soup is to die for. The customer service is top notch. Great staff.
Not sure what I got in a red sauce, but it certainly wasn’t cucumber tomato salad in a lemon dressing. Waiter stacked our dishes near me on edge of table and as expected he bumped them and that red sauce went all over the seat. Luckily I moved quickly and dodged ruining a brand new pair of pants!
We ordered saag paneer, chicken pudina kalonji, naan, chicken 65,goat curry, fish tikka all food tasted good except fish tikka and goat curry was not so great.
The food was alright but the staff was amazing! Super friendly, didnt rush us and would go back just for the service! Thank you for being so awesome!!!
Nice ambiance, good food. We had fish masala and fish biryani. The portions were good for 2-3 people. Naan was excellent!
Shocked to see pind getting negative comments.. been coming here since long time! Never had a bad experience! Love their goat! Always clean and served fresh with respect!
I tried 3 dishes hoping atleast one would turn out decent but oh my god!!! Please change the chef who makes your Chettinadu curry. Its just ground up onion tomato gravy. Probably they didnt get the instruction to cook it. Lasooni Gobhi was just sour and sweet Manchurian. Naan was good, I only ate Naan for dinner that night.
We went in thinking we’d get authentic Indian food. However our experience was anything but. We were greeted by Crickets 🦗 for 10 mins..The food came out quickly. but nothing was great. The papdi chaat’s chutney was overly sour. Almost like it’s been sitting outside. The ‘chole bhature’ was ready to fry frozen pillsbury puri with channa masala! The malai kofta was mostly a lump of potatoes and no ‘paneer’ filling as advertised. The gravy was just extra heavy cream with no flavor. We asked for a level above base spice, and they lumped red chili powder on top without tempering it. Tasting the chili powder is no fun.The mukwaas on our way out was the best thing we had there.
Ordered Saffron chicken from this place. Excessive cream and salt and thats all you can taste, no masala flavors whatsoever. And they charge 16$ for this. Ridiculous. This place is way too overhyped. Wont come back again.
Cant imagine how bad the dinner was! One of the worst Indian dishes I had in a long time. Tasteless hariyali paneer, lachaa parata was the worst I ever ate ever, main entree portions like a side salad. I would not recommend this place at all.
Loved the food and the ambience. Prince, the host, was very friendly. Special mention for the goat curry needs to be made. The meat was succulent and the sauce was simply amazing. We ordered rasmalai and mango mousse cake for dessert. I loved the rasmalai. Will definitely visit this place again.
Great food and service. Menu was awesome and it was unique design. Very clean and unlike any other Indian restaurant I have seen. Chai was delicious. Mr. Singh our waiter was polite and had a great memory. All and all great place.
The aloo gobi was so delicious and comforting I couldnt help but do a little happy dance. I got so much veggie pakora I was one happy camper. And the chicken tikka masala had so much flavor. Also the mango mousse cake was so delicious but I wish they had put it in a separate bag from the rest of my order. It sat on top of the hot chicken tikka during delivery that the mousse melted. Luckily it didnt melt completely and I was still able to try it but I just wish it had the intended texture and consistency it was supposed to. Absolutely great food. It was my first time trying them and Ill definitely order again.Edit: docked a point cuz while their food is still delicious, I ordered a delivery and it was missing an item, my drink. It was the first item on this ticket in large print so idk how they missed it. Granted, the delivery driver might have missed it but he said he confirmed with the person that handed them the order that there was no drink (cuz I wouldnt expect just anybody to know that a Laasi was a drink anyway). I wanted the laasi to help with the spicy food. While I can understand forgetting an item...its literally the first item on the ticket on the bag in LARGE print.Edit: my original post complained about putting a mousse cake in the same bag as hot food and apparently they didnt learn their lesson. I got nothing but lukewarm mango soup instead of a creamy dessert for the second time. (So 2 out of the 4 or 5 times Ive ordered this dessert). PLEASE PUT IT IN A SEPARATE BAG! Otherwise your food is still delicious so 4 stars instead of 5 because your delivery logistics needs a little work.
Just walked out of the restaurant after being completely ignored for almost 10 minutes. I realized that they were only two waiters so at first, I was willing to give more time. However, when 2 DIFFERENT parties came in after me and got served, I figured my money is better somewhere else. I DONT demand that people serve me and I can deal with them being short staffed but the restaurant was not full. If you are looking everywhere but my table and serving those who come in AFTER me, I am happy to leave. And to think I drove from my resort especially to that restaurant because I felt like eating Indian food.
Been here twice and lucky for me, was with a group and got to taste a little bit of what each ordered. Everything that I’ve tried so far is just soooo good! Food is aromatic & bursting with flavor. I want to try EVERYTHING IN THEIR MENU!Unforgettable are Mint Chicken, all Seafood dishes and the Lamb Rogan Josh
The first time I came here, I had chicken korma. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they had recently opened. It was very bland.I tried this place again with an open mind. I had seen good reviews from Google and Reddit, but I dont understand. Going back, I tried a wider variety. Everything tasted good initially, but then immediately had a tasteless finish. I asked for mostly medium hot - hot, which was not respected either. Nothing was spicy in the slightest.Ps: The service is not great. But I try to not have that affect my reviews too much. 3/5 stars is purely from the flavorless food served here.
Great Indian food with an excellent variety of menu options. We ordered online and picked up at the restaurant, and the inside was very clean and inviting. We requested our entrees not spicy and they did a perfect job of keeping the spice down. Will absolutely be ordering from Pind again!!!
The food here is simply memorable. The coconut lime soup in particular was a standout and the papri chatt caught me by surprise with its notes of sweet and sour
Hands down some of the most delicious food Ive had in a while. Some of the best Indian cuisine Ive had period. Even though we could only do take out, everything was perfect. Great flavor, amazing portions. Would recommend to anyone who has been considering cong here.
I order one meal from Pind literally everyday through Uber eats, just because Its just me here and I work all day, I don’t get chance to make my food(no family). Everyday they send me wrong things, for example: it I say “No Rice, Only Naan” they send me Rice only and no Naan, today I order Chana masala and they literally sent me 8 naans, and all of them were stale, I can clearly see that...this is so disgusting, every time I tried to talk to manager... they keep my phone on hold. I just love ur food, and I am paying for that...I can order free delivery from nearby restaurants also. I really want the owner to know about that...my name is Noor...
The only reason I give Pind a 4 star is because of the oily nature of the food. The taste earns its star as do the decor, ambience and the service. You definitely enjoy whatever is made, but wish it were not that oily! Authentic Punjabi Indian food with a nice ambience that is family friendly and a chef who knows how to manage spice levels unlike a lot of other Indian restaurants who cook as though red chilli powder is going out of fashion. Recommended
From the exterior, this fancy, white cloth, Indian restaurant seemed intimidating and expensive. But it turned out to be a really comfortable and casual restaurant with attentive servers that allow you to customize your dinner experience. The menu was small but it became obvious why. Based on the food we had, it seemed like this restaurant really focused on providing really **fresh** Indian food at affordable prices. Our entire dinner party of 3 really felt like all the herbs and spices were freshly grated right before it was used during the cooking of each dish. Weve had plenty of Indian food at other restaurants but they were likely americanized to contemporary palates where the flavors are bland and tasteless. From the pics, we ordered 3 entrees: lamb curry (medium), eggplant curry (slightly spicy), and scallop tikki masala (not spicy). Our favorite was the eggplant curry much to our surprise. But all three tasted so fresh. We opted for the rice to pair with our entree. The naan and offered bread was ok.We would come back because it just tasted so fresh and the spices used were so vibrant.
Great food , great service careful of the Indian Spicy option its not for everyone. Seriously I hope this place stays around forever. How this place isnt booked all the time is amazing. We travel from NY a few times a year and we always look forward to eating here as much as we can because its that good we crave it when we arent in VA :( . Such a beautiful place and great people!
Absolutely amazing service! The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable! The restaurant was clean! Most importantly the food was delicious! Will definitely be visiting again and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Average (at bestIndian food that is overpriced given the quality and flavor of what is served. A few of the dishes arent really even what I would consider real Indian food... more like "Indian inspired" or "Indian spiced" (like chicken tikka masala). When youre seated they bring pieces of naan with coriander chutney, tamarind chutney, and raita. The coriander chutney was just OK and the raita was not good at all... it tasted sour/tart like they added lots of buttermilk... not at all like proper raita made with just yogurt. The below average chutney was a sign that the food was going to be disappointing. Its like going to a Mexican restaurant that makes lousy salsa... when basic staple things arent good its always a bad sign. Our group started with bhel and onion bhaji... the bhel was decent but pretty bland while the onion bhaji was more like really thin and bland onion rings. For our mains we shared garlic and herb salmon (one of those not really Indian food dishes), lamb chops, goat curry, saffron chicken, crabmeat curry, and vegetable patia. The salmon was cooked well but was pretty bland along with everything else... including their very very Western take on crab curry. It was not jumbo lump crab meat... it was more like shredded crab meat (that tasted like it was cannedin a bland and somewhat Indian-inspired sauce. Most people ordered garlic naan but I ordered a couple rotis (thinner and made from whole wheat flour). The rotis were decent but expensive at $3 a piece.Overall the food was very bland and overpriced. The lamb chops were probably the best dish, followed by the bhel. I wanted to like this place, but I can get much better (like much much betterauthentic Indian food for half the price back home in the SF Bay Area. A 3 is almost too generous.
Decor was clean and modern. Menus were colorful and extensive. So many choices so we tried 6 different things at our table and all were delish!
Food quality did not work great . Parantha s and chicken were very pale . Except the chutneys nothing felt good to the tongue .
Pros...food was not bad.Cons... absolutely the worst service I have ever received. I sat at the bar , no one else at the bar but apparently it was the hangout spot for the wait staff making it odd that it took forever to do anything. I had to ask repeatedly for my water to be filled. My food came out wrong and then I was asked if it would be ok to accept the wrong food. I finally asked for my check after sitting there with everything pushed away from me for 11 mins and then I watched the waiter walk 3 feet away and play on his cellphone for another 7 mins before handing me my check. And to top it off at the bar theres just prescription meds hanging out. Im.glad I have been to good Indian restaurants before.
Great food( must have dishes : salmon fish which was beautifully cooked, tandoori platter, saag. Absolutely loved the salad and the mango lassi)...Great service....Great ambience....In total a great experience. Had a wonderful bday with family and Im glad to have celebrated here. The team was sweet enough to bring me a cake which was fingerlickingly fantastic....Thanks guys and keep up the good work
I tried this place for the weekend lunch buffet (which seems like it might be a new featureand it was fantastic. I dont have much experience with Indian food outside of buffets (because I like to be able to eat a variety at once), but this seemed on par or better than most that I have been to.I only had two concerns: One, the dishes did not have labels, so I didnt know what I was eating. I was willing to try it all, but then I had no idea of the things that I really liked. Two, some of the dishes were less than warm. Since I think this is a new set up they may just be doing a trial run for the buffet, but they did refresh with hot food fairly often.I thought it was a little more expensive than most lunch buffets in the area, $15, but I also feel like it was worth it.The photo is of my second plate... the first plate had way more variety, and I was full by the second plate but I wanted a top off of my favorites!
