PAYPURIX Hostel Lima Airport in Callao

Hostel staff were lovely and friendly greeting us on arrival very late in the evening by opening the front door. We were very grateful for this as the location does look a bit sketchy and not entirely obvious its a hostel. Good convenience for airport drops, very simple hostel so dont expect luxury. We had a private room with ensuite which wasnt especially clean - no bath matts outside shower and tiles were dangerously slippy, hot water though! The room was cold and damp, much like Lima, it wasnt a comfortable nights stay and we wouldnt stay again. But the staff were lovely and it was fine for one night easy convenience to the airport.

Really useful for heading to the airport, owner let me come and sit in the hostel with a mate to wait for our plane.Seemed nice

I came to Paypurix the first of January 2020. The staff was very friendly and nice. My room was very comfortable. The food was good. It was a comfortable place. The area outside isnt the best area, but I was okay, myself, walking around no problem. I guess I look local, and I kept to myself. You dont have to worry about that. The hostel can call you a taxi, and you can go to other areas. The hostel is conveniently located to the airport, and it had great reviews. It didnt disappoint. I stayed there twice.

This is in a kind of sketchy area, but the security is very good! Perfect place to stay for a night when you are coming from or going to the airport. There is free wifi available, and also breakfast for cheap. Nice big private rooms and the staff was very friendly.

Its cheap and near the airport. That is the point. They also have some surprisingly good food for dinner and a common room with plenty of seating. If you book the cheapest option dont expect a great sleep as its right next to reception and the road, but if you have earplugs its not bad. Cant beat it for $5.

A good hostel, close the airport, perfect por persons that stay in Lima for just a night. the staff is good, the beer is cold.

Good Hostel for a Night. Just 2km from the Airport, which I walked to save 15Soles for the taxi. Breakfast is not bad either.

Terrible location, close to the airport but in a very dangerous industrial area and far away from the city center.

The hostel is fine for a short stay, close to the airport and they do a airport pick up/drop off. WiFi isnt great. No hot water to have a shower.

Had an issue with a booking there so we were considering getting another room even though the two options were not ideal (one was really expensive and the other was sharing with 12 people). Our cards werent working so we asked where to withdraw cash in the area, we were told the atm was only a short walk away - ended up being a 30 min walk at night down a dark and unpleasant street - they agreed to hold our bags while we went to withdraw cash but when we got back the rooms were booked and they tried to charge us 12 soles for holding our bags for an hour in an open common room area where anybody couldve walked in and stolen our things. Very unhappy with the service and with the attitude of the guy we dealt with when we got back to the hostel.

Close to airport, perfect place for 1st night in town. Clean but very noisy

We booked a double room with private bathroom. It is nice and tidy, bed seems fresh, bathroom smells clean, the staff is friendly and its pretty close to the airport. To reach the city it ist better to take Uber or Cabify then bus or taxi.

cheap place to stay, a few bugs in the bathroom, no air con but very close to the airport. nice little breakfast provided, lots of weird fruit that I have never seen before in my lift. Ping pong on the roof top terrace too

Excellent for a night before the flight. Close to the airport. Wish you will have time for outstanding breakfast with lots of fruits.

Did the job. Dont get the taxi service to/from the airport they offer though. Its way over priced considering the hostel is just around the corner.

Brilliant place to stay. We only stayed a night, staff were very helpful and printed our boarding passes for us. Food was good. Taxi arranged my the hostel on arrival into the was brilliant, clear and easy to find the driver. I would recommend this to everyone!

This backpackers is walking distance to the airport. (22 minutesThe staff is very nice, and the place is alright. View is the city Street. My mixed dorm was stuffy and hot, but with clean sheets and blankets. Sounds travels with the concrete walls, so use ear plugs. Lockers are provided, but breakfast is not included. Its a nice breakfast if you do buy it. Lots of different fresh fruit, coffee, tea, bread, eggs, etc. At most pay 20 soles for a cab ride from the airport.

Simply, cozy and clean. Really close to the airport. Nice rooftop and cheap.

Cosy hostel with very friendl staff. Good for a night when youre only in Lima to catch another flight. Very loud because of the street. Taxi 30-40 sol from the airport, about 15-20min to walk.

Super close to the airport. They offer a pick-up service for a good price. Kitchen will make food for you until 11:30 pm. They sell prepaid sim cards from movistar at better prices than the claro ones at the airport, $30 for 25 GB and 15 days of service. Tiny bathroom, shower had hot water but the sink didnt.

Close to airport, good for one night

Simple place to stay next to airport. They propose plenty of fruits for breakfast for additional 12 soles. Room was small but clean enough for not worrying about it. Water in shower was barely warm. If you want to use credit card you will have to pay some extra. So bring cash with you.

Great if you need a hostel close to the airtport. Theyll send a taxi for you so you wont have to find a safe one when you, like me, arrive in the middle of the night after almost 20 hours on a plane. Safe, clean, comfortable and good value for money. They offer a good quality, 12 soles breakfast

Very friendly and helpful! We were trying to get back to the US flying standby and couldnt get out for four days. They checked us in at 3 am and helped us get cabs to the airport each night. They are Awesome, rooms are nice and breakfast is delicious. We love this place!

Clean and close to the airport. They provide warm blankets and the paid breakfast was worth it. Try all the fruits.

Close to the airport and needed few hours to clean and rest to continue our trip back home. Location itself is questionable but inside and the facilities are clean. Highly recommended for quick stay.

Its ok for an overnight stay of you have to catch a flight the next morning. They charge you if you want to hang around after 10AM though! And the rooms are very noisy. Theres not much around so really just recommended for a sleep between connecting flights.

Very good place, staff and close to the airport.

Only a very quick drive from the airport (paid 7 soles for taxi)! Arrived at 4 in the morning to a very accommodating staff. Dorms were clean and company was pleasant, never felt like I had to hide my belongings from anyone. Locker is provided, but you need your own lock. Patio and lounge are great! Would stay here again and recommend!

Transport to the hostel (or anywherecan be difficult. But a nice place to stay.

What started as a pleasent stay turned into a nightmare. After travelling 18hrs from Scotland to Lima I decided to spend a night close to the airport before travelling to iquitos the next morning to visit my daughter whom I hadnt seen 4 months. I was woken at 1.30am by the sound of blenders making cocktails and what seemed to be party going on in the common room.The party then moved to a room nearby and the nghht staff fuelled the party by selling more beer etc. I dont recommend this hostal if your looking for a decent nights sleep before travelling next day.seems to be full of ignorant travellers. Sad because its so close to airport.

Excellent hostel. I stayed in a private room and it was clean, spacious with a hot shower. The staff were also really friendly helpful and spoke English.The hostel is located close to the airport. Make sure to contact them to arrange a cheaper airport transport or use Uber (theres a trick to be picked up from the mall near the airport which will cut your uber/taxi cost by 60%).

Let me in early and checked out early due to flight schedule. Good place to crash for a while and take a warm shower. Walking distance from airport and markets. Secure. 80 soles on a Friday night for a room with 2 beds.

Simple, close, diverse travelers, inexpensive and clean. Many happy hours available. Best of all, they had 2 guitars and a wooden beat box! Food on site, ping pong, fooseball, and billiard tables, entertainment center with DVDs and books to use in various languages, two public computers, laundry service, and a taxi service to the airport.

Ant was here near airport (cost not more than 10 box for taxi)

About a 30 minute walk from the airport which is handy if you have a connecting flight the next day. Comfortable and clean room with hot water available. There is a bar and restaurant. The fan didnt seem to help us much with the heat though.

near from airport, only 20 minutes walk. clean room. friendly staff. great breakfast with 7 sol. hot shower is depend on the time or occasion. cheap but nice diner near around. totally, i was satisfied with it.

For this place far away from downtown its expensive and they charge you rediculous 25 Sol for a 5 minute taxi transfer to the airport.

Great price, great location if you have an early flight. Staff is rxcellent
