PAN8 - Sandwich shop in Bologna, Italy
My husband and I stopped by Pan8 for a drink. It was the best Apperol Sprits weve had and the service was great!
A great lunch spot if youre looking for a yummy sandwich! Vegetarians and vegans, their beans carpaccio is quite yummy if youre looking for something to imitate the meats that Bologna is so well known for!
Girlfriend is allergic to gluten and a lot of other things, we were assured the food is safe and it was very good as well. The prices are fair.
Delicious !
Excellent sandwiches!!A must restaurant to try in Bologna.
Does not open at 12 as said on their door and on Google
Pan8 in Bologna Alto is a very nice and good small restaurant to have some drinks and especially the meat and cheese plate for two persons. Situated in a shopping street with a small terras. Very friendly services. Places to go to!
If I could eat at one panini place for the rest of my life it would be PAN8. Literally the best panino known to mankind. Daniele e Timotee are incredibly kind and have perfected their panini(s). GF friendly + vegan…very inclusive! Deserves 10 stars out of 5.
The best vegan and gluten-free sandwich Ive ever eaten 🥪
Amazing sandwiches, big portion sizes and caters well for gluten free. Would highly recommend, we went twice during our three days in Bolonga.
Very nice staff. Great panini and beer.
Amazing food, great quality gluten free bun.
Can’t say enough, pull up a chair, sip some vino and taste a wonderful sandwich. Great spot in the evening to cool off and people watch.
Amazing sandwiches located right off the piazza maggiore! Between classes at the University of Bologna, here as a study abroad student this summer, I stopped to grab a panini per recommendation of my fellow classmates! I will certainly be coming back after enjoying their Morosa panini for lunch. PAN8 complimented the panini with a delicious chocolate at the end too! Both of my friends who ate with me this afternoon were very pleased by their selection of sandwiches. Great options at a fair price. Also has free wifi which is a huge bonus!
Good food, good wine, but a bit overpriced. The space is crowded.
This place is awesome. Great, fast service super friendly servers. Awesome aperitivos. €16 for a decent appetizer for 2. High quality... Not much more expensive that other aperitivo joints, but super high quality. Quite an experience also, being next to the main piazza.
Tasty sandwich, I recommend this place. Great buns.
The picorino& fig jam sandwich is heaven in bread!
Mold on the bread and they didn’t care at all when we told them. Pure quality of food.
Plenty of Vegan options. We were aiming at a vegan bolognes but after 30min browsing PAN8 was the safest Vegan provider.
Delicious, classic Italian panini for those who look for the best gluten and lactose free food in town.
Friendly service and full collection of local flavours. Highly recommended!
Amazing gluten free food. Will definitely be back!
Had a glass of red- very poor quality- no snacks were provided- not even potato chips but they charged me a cover chArge with my overpriced and poor quality glass of wine - Meh- with so many great places for a drink- skip this one
Great place, great food, this is ALL vegan!!!
Favorite place in all of Bologna! The food is delicious, yes, with especially good vegan and gluten-free options, but it is the shining service that sets this place apart. Never have I met a staff so kind and welcoming. Go here!
Delicious sandwiches and great service. The gluten free bread option is amazing! Couldnt recommend enough.
Vegan and gluten free options really good. Lovely service! 100% Recommended!! :)
We were here today, ordered focaccia to take away and this is what we got for 7.50€!!! Old sandwich with cheap ingredients! My 4 years old nephew would made better! Please avoid this place!
Great food, wine and service. Highly recommend. They take card and cash. Menus are available in Italian and English.
The location is great, but the sandwiches are insanely good. As a celiac (gluten intolerant), all the experience was great. Also my German friend enjoyed his sandwich "with gluten" a lot. Delicious ingredients and lovely staff. I recommend the champignons with the curry sauce!!
Informal and cheap place to eat at, staff is not very kind but the combinations of their sandwiches are incredible. Could be part of a Bologna food tour
Yum yum yum. Karol makes the best spritz (by farin all of Bologna. All the sandwiches are good especially on the focaccia bread!
We were looking for place to eat with plant based options, most things were either temporary closed due to summer break (without even mentioning it onlineor the options were very limited. By accident we stumbled upon this place and were delighted by the owners(?hospitality. English menu ready and plenty of great Italian vegan and vegetarian options, even the possibility to configure your own panini/plate. Also nice local softdrinks available if you dont drink alcohol.
Very good plate of meat and chees.... Best in the three cities in my trip (Bologna Firenze and RomaNice and helpful service ; highly recommended ;)
Amazing!!! Fresh, warm bread, with the toppings you like or just choose a sandwich from the menu. Good price. Will recommend.
Great light lunch. Once you have to try it in Bologna.
Amazing vegan, gluten free options! Boss for snacking on the move and the wine is tasty! Lovely service
This is an amazing gluten free restaurant with options for all the menu GF! The owner is super nice and the setting is perfect. Must go!
Me and my friend went there for a fast but more healthy that McDonald lunch, but we waited for like 25 minutes to have a seat...Apart from that, the panino was amazing 🤤 never tried something like that.I recommend being there as early as you can especially during weekends. Its not to pricey but youll not going to be satiated by only one of them.
Really great food and lots of variety for all dietary requirements!Really friendly and welcoming staff and really decent prices ... it’s a must food stop in Bologna!
This little place is just tucked off the main square but was a great place for lunch before we then travelled on. Their menu looked great so it was hard to decide what I wanted. In the end I went for the Parma ham and mozzarella sandwich. As I am a coeliac I needed it to be gluten free, they let me know that there was a separate area where they prepared everything. The sandwich was massive! The bread was different to anything I had ever had before, it was quite spongey. The ham and mozzarella was a great confirmation, but it’s very full so you might find it very meaty when you get to the end, I know I did. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone whether you are gluten free or not.
We were on the hunt for a mortadella filled focaccia and came across this gem!Lovely staff, speaking English. Easy to read menu and lots of fillings to choose from.We enjoyed a glass of their Prosecco and Chardonnay and a mortadella focaccia each. We both loved the warm and slightly crusty bread. Just wish we had more days in the city to return!
Checked into our hotel and went for a wander looking for a snack. Were lucky enough to pass PAN8 and shared an amazing plate of meat, cheese and bread and a couple of glasses of fantastic red wine. Delicious, and very friendly service too.
A little gem! Amazing place, very reasonable prices for high quality products. Service very friendly and welcoming.
Came in for lunch with my partner, we shared a large platter of meats and cheeses. It was stunning. Some of the best meat weve had in nearly 2 weeks in Italy, and the accompanying sauces were terrific (we had the black olive and the pear & ginger). The wines were also delicious!
Right in the city centre we found PAN8 for having a meat & cheese plate. Cold cuts containing Mortadella, Parma, Salami and a variety of cheese was very delicious together with a Lambrusco dolce.Service was very friendly and we had a great time in a relaxed atmosphere. It could get fresh sitting outside in spring and inside there is only limited space available.
A wonderful "Taglieri" - where they slice local cured meats to order for large platters or to make amazing panini. Very high quality with excellent service.
Super friendly staff, good cheese, I can only imagine the sandwiches were delicious as I saw them being prepared, and clean bathrooms and again the staff was super lovely and helpful!
Could be nice but they switched the beef for chicken without telling us. Then asked for a different sandwich- they then brought the wrong one and then tried to argue that we should pay the sandwich they brought by mistake. No apology- rude staff! Tourist trap.
