Family-friendly chain offering creative takes on Chinese fare in a striking space.
Update: They changed their calamari app yet again. FAR below a solid dish. This app used to be amazing, now its about as common and forgettable as they come. Seems the overall quality isnt there anymore. Servers are awesome though and the food is still good. I came here for the Calamari though, so now I dont care to return. The cocktails we got were beautiful but not worth it on taste. The mojito...meh.One of the best Calamari apps Ive ever had if not the best, and I try them everywhere I dine. All around quality ingredients in all their dishes. Each dish Ive had here is great.
As usual the for was great. Lettuce wraps and kung Pow chicken. Plenty of chili peppers. I called to get a reservation. I was told one wasnt available over the phone till 8:15 pm. I went on line and there were 4 available reservations including the one I asked for at 7:00 pm. Go on line for reservations.
Over 2 hours to get our order! Chow mein noodles where just noodles, dry no vegetables, nothing! The shrimp was soupy and just gross. Way over priced and some of the worse food i have eaten in a long time. We brought this to the attention of Urber eats and they never made it right. Never again.
Good food (salty), prices are a tad high, service is usually great. The pepper steak is awesome. The great wall of chocolate is awesome. They usually can make a good drink at the bar.
The food, service and cocktails were stellar! Erin, the bartender, is first class and unequivocally the best at what she does. PF Changs is very fortunate to have her!
I just ate here with my grandpa, and it was delicious! I ordered orange chicken and my grandpa ordered dumplings. Our server was very polite and professional. Come on down to PF Chang’s if you’re looking for a good time and great food. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never been disappointed.
Made an online reservation for our anniversary visit. Just as I was parking the car nearby, I got a reminder that our table was almost ready; Nice Touch. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient, and well dressed. The food? Well what can I say, P.F. Changs food is always great. I feel bad now that I didnt think to take and share pictures of the presentation of it on our table before we dug in.
The food is SO good and there’s a lot of it. Beautiful weather, great tunes and a great way to spend our 8 month anniversary.
We’ve been here a handful of times over the past couple of years. Unfortunately, it has gotten progressively worse. A shame because some of their dishes are/were amazing. The last time we gave them the benefit of the doubt on an over-cooked Mongolian Beef dish. This time, it was our pad Thai dish. Where, both times, the meat was cooked to a hard rubber consistency. Add to the fact that there was a swarm of gnats around all the tables the entire meal. They did deduct the pad Thai from our check. Waitress was polite. The host was polite, but the overall vibe was negative. Drinks were solid (why they get 1/5 starsand apps were meh. Very sad to see such a reduction in quality over the years. I don’t go out of my way to write reviews unless it is 5 stars or 0 stars. Hope that the owners can turn things around, but I’m skeptical.
Update: I gave them another try and the food was outstanding, fresh and what Im used to receiving from Pf Changs!!! I appreciate the owners response and used the certificates they provided. My family and I will be back on our own dime! Five Star Food !The recent "To Go" Food I got was spoiled. The lettuce for the wraps was pink with that mold looking color and the sweet peas in the fried rice were black and green. Since when are green peas spotted black. The food used to be fresh when eating in, maybe just dont order take out. Disappointing and disgusting. Follow up: I do appreciate management taking the time to respond to my post. I have received the certificates and will give them another shot at my business. I have up the stars due to managements response
Im a delivery driver and always enjoy picking up orders from P.F. Changs. They do a nice job of packaging the orders. My customers are likely to tip me more when their food arrives hot and well packaged. I can always count on P.F. Changs to exceed the customers and my expectations. In addition the staff is friendly and efficient. Thank you for making my job a joy.
Went for dinner with my husband and 2 of our teenage boys. We did drinks, appetizers and dinner. Everything was great and Kylie took amazing care of us! Will be back for sure
What an amazing experience! The food was delicious and plated beautifully. Although I found the portions to be a little small for the pricing its definitely a place I will do again on special occasions. Definitely try the dumplings!!! They should think about offering them as a full dinner option
What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was quite enjoyable and I have to say the food was everything to be expected. Chang’s is definitely a go-to in my books. Out of the entire experience though, I have to say the service was exceedingly great! Our server, Savanah killed it with top notch service. Her engagement and attention to detail made it all that much better!
Reserved for a party of 5. Our table was ready when we arrived. Its very clean/nice decor. Has patio dining as well. Service and food above average. Good selection on menu. Look forward to returning.
Great restaurant with excellent customer service and delicious food. I have been here many times and have always been impressed with the experience and food.
The food was decent, but there were some parts that were salty. Also, the waitress passed me and didnt check me out. Instead, the 6 people who say later than me got their checks and left. Stuck here for more than an hour after I finished food..
The take out process does not work. At 4:30 I placed an online order for a 7:30 pickup. Three times the site said that it couldnt process my order. I then called. The initial message said to place the order online, which I couldnt. I then talked to a person and placed the order for a 7:30 pickup. I made sure that they understood that by repeating it back to me. At 7:30 I arrived and my food was waiting. On the drive home I noticed that the ticket stapled to the bag said 5:30. When I got home, you could tell that the food had been sitting in a warmer for several hours. The vegetables were soggy and soft and disappointing. Nothing tasted fresh.

Were so sad and disappointed. We made the trek out to PF Changs at least once per month. We had family visiting from out of town last Friday and after picking them up at the airport, we headed to PF Changs to eat dinner. We kept saying how great the food is there. When we typically order gluten free chicken lettuce cups, spicy chicken, brocolli beef, and pad thai. They ALL lacked flavor. The brocolli was overdone and the beef was VERY dry. The California roll tasted moldy. We kindly told our server that the food lacked flavor and was dry and overdone. She mentioned she would pass it along to the kitchen. Perhaps the "A" team was not working that night? We spent about $168 including the tip (And we tipped well bec it wasnt the servers fault). It was the worst feeling ever to have spent that much on food and leave so disappointed.I fear that we will no longer eat there, which is a huge disappointment bec PF Changs usually did gluten free really well. In the past, weve had meals that were so-so. But then it was consistently great for a long time. And this time, it was just HORRIBLE.
I love all the gluten free options and how knowledgeable the chef is about food allergies. Omg the chocolate souffle is divine and gluten free
Probably wont be back. Had the lettuce wraps and they reminded me of something thawed from the grocery store; mass produced with a preservative taste. Others in our party had meh food too. Well hit local places next time and avoid this chain
This place has gone downhill. Use to love the food now it is not so great had to send 2 appetizers back.
I havent been to P.F. Changs in many years. A small group of us went to get dinner. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant but everything took an unreasonably excessive amount of time. The service was OK, the server was nice but forgot multiple request. She spent a lot of time chatting with others.By the time we got our dinner, the food was cold and was not worth the almost $20 a plate. We spent almost $200 for dinner, for food you could have bought at a Chinese Buffet for much less. We probably will not go back there again.
Overpriced, bland, and poorly cooked. Save your money and go to Panda Express. Theyre better than this place. Im not picky by any means, so for me to say this food is bad is really saying something!
Our table of 12 was high maintenance, but our waitress handled us well. 😆 Food was consistent and good from what wed experienced previously. Mongolian beef is always such a treat! Great to make advance reservations that we could count on.
Good food at very good prices and excellent customer service - you will not be disappointed. They are generally busy so make a reservation during busy times.
The rib is so tender and flavorful. The fried rice soup noodles are too sour for me but still flavorful with herb. It’s. More like Singapore style? Maybe
Lettuce wraps. MMMMM lettuce wraps. I can make a meal from these and a cocktail or two. The dan dan noodles and the spicy green beans are killer too. This location is hard to park at and the service can be a little harried. Sometimes its hard to get a refill on your water or soda. the food comes out hot though, and theres not usually a wait. Prices are average for the area. Boise doesnt have any decent Chinese food, so PF Changs is about the best you can do.
Our server, Izzy, was great. Attentive and got all r orders perfect. Food was good, chilean sea bass excellent.
The atmosphere was very peaceful. My daughter treated me there for my birthday. The waitress was peppy, sweet, and kind. I received a special desert with a candle to celebrate my birthday.
Ordered Uber Eats. My dad ordered Beef and Broccoli and I got the street noodles. The noodles werent cooked all the way, barely any veggies like advertised and my dad got chicken with no broccoli instead of beef with broccoli...pretty disappointed for a restaurant thats supposed to be good. The delivery driver was wonderful though!
The service was excellent from our waitress BREEANA. She was quick with refills and delivery of our orders. My Singapore pepper chicken was spicy so yummy highly recommended
Excellent food and staff! Great atmosphere.
Our food was delicious, our server dreadful. We were made to feel we were a bother to her. We had to ask another server to help us. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, we wished her night would get better. She said she was having a great night. So........
Terribly disappointed. I ordered Uber Eats. Never again. Their Shrimp Dumplings were great, but the Spare Ribs & Banana Spring rolls were horrible. I ask for plastic ware, access & condiments that were typically sent Togo but nothing. Maybe the in Restaurant experience would be better, but don’t order it To Go!
My daughter and I went here to celebrate my birthday with their free appetizers. It was the veggie spring rollsVery good. We also ordered the orange chicken to share. So so. I loved the interior of the restaurant. Hit or miss not sure. Was just soso for me.
I’ve been a customer for over a decade at P.F. Chang’s. It’s a unique Asian fusion eatery that has become a cult-classic staple in the realm of Chinese dining. I’ve been a customer at this particular P.F. Chang’s restaurant since 2016. The atmosphere, the ambience, the service, the staff, and the food have been consistent every single visit. I guess my only con would be more vegetarian options. Overall, a great place and I will be back.
Good food good price.. Waitress sucked could not get a refill silverware was dirty. So hire new Waitress and it will be great. Still got 5 stars because the food made up for the bad service..
We requested to be seated on the patio and felt like we were not a priority to the staff. Staff were checking on the other tables frequently but it seemed like we were just an inconvenience for the staff. The food was good, but they have minimized the menu. Who knew it would be harder to decide on what to eat with less options. The presentation and plating was also disappointing. I didnt even bother to take pictures of my plate because it was so boring. Dont get me wrong it all was pretty and still looked good but wasnt up to the standards that the restaurant had previously set in my book.
Good food. Good servers. Wife, 4 kids, and I enjoyed it. Tempura roll, Mongolian Beef, Honey Chicken, Orange Chicken, Singapore noodles, and lettuce wraps were all good. The menu is reduced from what it was pre-pandemic, but still plenty of options. A benefit of the pandemic is online reservations. We reserved a table for 5:15pm and were promptly seated within a minute. It was efficient which means a lot with 4 young kids.
The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is exquisite. We had a waitress named Bailey that we really liked. I got honey crispy shrimp and my husband got Kung Pao shrimp both with fried rice. We tried the Chang Lettuce wraps for an appetizer and loved it! Its lunar new year so I tried a Red lantern beverage that was delicious (but strong)! It is on the spendier side but for Valentines or special occasions it is well worth it.
Their Lettuce Wraps are the best!PF Changs offers a free appetizer or dessert during your birthday month. That was a good reason to visit last week for lunch. My wife and I shared the Lettuce Wraps as well as an order of Ginger Chicken with Broccoli. Both items tasted great! Our server was prompt and efficient; he even brought second water glasses when we were getting low without our asking.
The table was sticky, either from a lack of cleanliness or the finish coming off. Food was mediocre. Asian Pear Mojito tasted like pure syrup. Our sushi roll came out after we were done eating. Bathroom is disgusting. The place is definitely not the quality it was originally.Only redeeming quality was our kind server and he took off the charge for the sushi roll.
First time there. Went to celebrate our Anniversary. Our wait time wasnt to bad. Our waiter named Marshall was Super nice and he always made sure we had what we needed. The food was Sooo Good. We had the lettuce wrap appetizer. OMG...sooo yummy. Our entrees were also very good.Definitely will go back!!
Update: after originally giving 5 star review because we had such good food, we have been back many times and it is SO hit or miss. Sometimes inedible because food tastes like it’s been sitting out for hours and other times way under or over seasoned!!Original review after first visit:This place is outstanding. We always have some critical to say about restaurants (especially on the pricier sidebut we have no complaints! So yummy and on a busy night got our food pretty quick. Chang’s spicy chicken, beef and broccoli, and brussell sprouts. Will come back again and again!
The atmosphere is great, comfortable seating and great lighting. The food is mouth-wateringly delicious! I recommend starting with some appetizers, our favorites are chicken lettuce wraps and some spicy dynamite shrimp in the best sauce. Then decide from a vast array of entree’s, which are ALL delicious, but we love their broccoli beef and sesame chicken served with a side of brown rice. And finish off with the an AMAZING dessert, their banana spring rolls, served with the tastiest coconut ice cream and berries. Yuuuum! Prices are decent but not too cheap. But it’s worth it for the delicious food and atmosphere.
I had the pleasure of checking out this chain for the first time. The experience overall, was good. The location: The location is fairly easy to get to with street parking just a few blocks away or a parking garage a block away. The restaurant: The restaurant was quiet and clean. We had reservations and were quickly escorted to our seats. The service was prompt and attentive. My water was refilled throughout lunch. As an allergy sufferer, Chinese restaurants can be tough. I asked about my allergy and our server printed a menu of food that was safe. This helped me set my mind at ease and enjoy the whole experience more. The food: I ordered the California roll and Ceilias Pork Dumplings. The California roll came out first with good presentation. The roll, however, didnt taste completely fresh and looked smaller than rolls Ive had at other places. I was glad I ordered the dumplings. When the dumplings came, the presentation was great. They were very flavorful and fresh. The Price: I thought the price for the California roll was too high for the size and filling amount. However the dumplings were right on.
P.F. Chang’s Boise has an amazing wait staff, the service really is impeccable. I ordered the Mandarin Crunch Salad (julienned vegetables, chopped cabbage, mango, almonds, crispy rice sticks, mandarin vinaigrette), it was good, but lacked some flavor. 3 of the other 4 people with me complained about how little protein they have in their main dishes. It was okay, we had gift cards, if we didn’t, I don’t feel that we’d return. It’s just too overpriced for the food you get. Atmosphere and wait staff get 5 stars, food gets 2.
Came here for a business meeting during lunch and the service was very quick and friendly. Our waitress was very helpful and provided good recommendations. I had the kung pao sushi roll and it was surprisingly good and spicy. I would definitely order it again and return to dine here.
