The one thing that attracts my eyes was a Nissan of the 60s. This museum houses Tan Seri P. Ramlees personal belongings abd his collections like a letter he wrote to his beloved wife Saloma, his childhood pictures, an antique turn table and many of his albums which all can still play, etc.
Very nostalgia, and very well upkeep
so lucky after many years want to visit the legendairy at last.....
This is real p ramlee house.free of charge.
So good
A very nostalgic place to visit. Youtube can offer the talent of this legend but this place adds the human aspects that reaffirm his existence and together with Saloma completed Malaysias contribution to the arts and culture of the yester years. Gives a watery eyes when youre there.
If you want to know P Ramlee more, come by here for a look. Theres a wealth of information about him and his family, and its well air-conditioned and free to boot.
Great that its free but shouldnt allow children inside. Parents letting their children run around as though its their own house. Disrespectful to the late P Ramlees legacy.
The best momerial place
I wish i can visit soon
2nd time here after long time ago. This place very small compare to put all P.Ramlee archievement but still ok. Better than nothing.
P.Ramlee or Ramlee bin Teuku Nyak Puteh was born in Penang in 1928. After second world war he shot to fame as a singer, composer, film actor and film producer. This memorial was his residence when he passed at the age of 45 in 1973.
this place closed during MCO.
Love this P Ramlee memorial. Can travel to the past.
A place to remember Malaysian great artist of all time. The place is not big but the remembrance and P. Ramlees achievements do superseded it.
Very small museum located right at the corner of housing area and shoplot. The entrance is free. There is one small movie screening in a hall of P. Ramlee film. Very well maintained and clean but could probably include more interactive feature like guided tour, tour guide or even workshop about P Ramlee and filmmaking. Hope to see more in the future!
Most of his artifacts were not displayed. The legend lives on.
I prefer the old memorial as it has a lot of personal belongings from PRamlee, Saloma and the other actors dueing their time in Jalam Ampas n Merdeka Studio
Very informative. The person in charge was very helpful and friendly. Admission is free
Temporary closed for renovation

One of great hidden-gem in the heart of Kuala Kumpur. A biograph about legendary P Ramlee from he was born until the day of his last breath. This place is actually his last residential house and now its a Memorial House. There so much info you can get from this place. Theyre playing his movies everyday and we can watch them for free. They are also selling some souvenir, worth a penny. I hope this place get it recognition especially young people; to know more about his journey in local film.
