Ozwald Copplepot; Villainously Good Coffee - Coffee shop in Isleworth, United Kingdom
Got a really good Americano coffee and a big tasty toasted chicken and cheese sandwich. Maybe a little pricey at £12, but Id certainly go back...maybe not daily though for lunch at the office. Keen to try some of their pastries next time 😁
Very cute indoor and out door areas to enjoy a nice cuppa or a delicious coffee. Also highly recommended the pesto morzzela sandwich.
Great coffee and impressive menu for any dietary needs, good choice for vegetarians or vegans. In case someone didn’t know, their banana loaf is super scrumptious!
Very nice coffee. Used to go for haircuts also, but they overpriced it in the end and stopped going. It wasnt the most welcoming place but they refurbished it and it now looks incredible.Deffo recommend going for a coffee and food!
5 stars for the atmosphere - relaxed feel and people are genuinely stopping here5 stars for the decor - absolutely magical, and theres a garden too5 stars for service - and they have high aims to get even betterI did not try the food but it looks and smells top quality to me5 stars for the coffee - very good quality and a decent serving well packaged to go4 stars for the price - you get what you pay for, £3 for a black coffee seemed a touch steep, but it was a long drink and very good5 stars all round for a lovely village coffee shop
Decor and service: Good!Prices: Bad! (I paid £14 for a basic cheese toastie, orange juice and packet of crisp)Music: The 90’s gangster rap with all the profanity left in might not be to everyone’s liking, wouldn’t take my kids here.
Amazing amazing coffee art , coffee ,toasties and hot chocolates ( also all of the different unique flavours ! the setting is super cozy ! There is also a hidden back yard wheee we can also dine ,and also get fresh air too. The presentation is outstanding! Keep up the good work there has been a lot of hard work out in it as we can tell!
Just to be clear:Location 5/5Decor 5/5Service 5/5Sourdough toasties 5/5Quality if coffee they use 5/5So why 2/5 stars? Its the consistency of the baristas coffee. The owner (a fantastic chapmakes the most silky, smooth, heavenly coffee. Unfortunately not all the baristas make good coffees. They are of varying levels - from semi decent to I just wasted my money and cant drink this. Sometimes I walk by - and if I see the owner there I will walk in. If I dont, I will walk past.If the coffees were consistent then I would give this place 10 stars. 2 or 3 years ago, when I started coming, Ozwald was in my top 3 coffee places in West London - alongside heisenberg (richmondand court of miracles (Northfields). I wish they would get back to how they were.
Best place in West London for Coffee, Pastries and Toasties! You can tell the owners have hand picked the best produce, everything tastes good. Just wished I lived closer by…
From the first time I dined here I knew this cafe was going to be the best dining experience. I am now a regular whether by myself, with my family, with friends or even for client meetings! Firstly, like the service, the coffee is amazing! They don’t have a large breakfast variety, but the egg and/or avocado sandwich is amazing! There is still an extensive toastie menu to chose from all day! And when they are open later, the ramen noodle dish is top drawer too! Which is still a great lunchtime option.
I tried to place a large order the day before and they told me to call in the morning. I have done that and they told me they were too busy. This was for work and created me a lot of issues. The person over the phone was extremely rude. To whoever goes to Chiswick Park, dont you ever stop or order from here.
Defently the best Coffee in Chiswick!!!The coffee they use is Allpress, a London based roster, one of the best around. Each coffe is made with attention, the shop very cosy, and the staff is more than welcoming. I highly reccomend Ozwald Copplepot 11 out of 10!!!
Lovely bohemian simple but friendly cafe. Given that this looks out on to one of main roads through Chiswick and into London it feels quite the little oasis of calm. Brilliantly kind and friendly service from those at the till and waiting staff - indicating where water could be got - breakfast was divine if “toastie” themed today. Whole front of cafe is opened out to cool on this hot day. Cafe of 2 quiet toddlers in prams, cyclist in backpack, 4 regular office locals (I imagine because they went straight to garden in rear that I had missed! in bright summer dresses. Soft soundtrack in background
First of all, what a fantastic name for a cafe this place has. We were actually heading somewhere else for lunch when we passed by and loved the name enough to break our plans and eat here.We enjoyed a chai latte and one of their hot chocolates (we had salted caramel). Both were delicious and well made. We also tried two different toasties from their menu. The bread was delicious and perfectly toasted. The sandwiches were very much worth the change in our plans. We would visit again.Edit: we returned and tried additional menu items. They met the expectation set by our first visit. Friendly staff, too.
Friendly staff, great tasting coffee. Every time that I am in the area, I always pop by to get a drink.
Fantastic coffee and the absolute best range and quality toasties. Unfortunately they are villanously overpriced.
Gorgeous independent coffee shop with excellent snack foods. Lovely ambience with a homely yet trendy feel. The coffee was great as well!
great coffee!gorgeous aestheticsand now with added garden outside with swing :)
Great food- very generous portion sizes and simply delicious. Also very accommodating for different dietary requirements. Nice ambiance and a very unique cafe with lots of character.
This place is a real gem. The coffee is always fresh and tastes great. The new garden is a amazing. One warning though the carrot cake is very addictive 😊. I can’t recommend this place highly enough
Ive tried some of the artisans sourdough sandwiches and the egg muffins. I often take coffee to go. Its a busy, hipster place, good for a bite. The staff is always jolly and friendly.
Easily the best Coffee in Chiswick!! And by far the best carrot cake 😝 The nicest decor and most welcoming staff. The beautiful new garden is the perfect place to chill out. What’s not to love?!My children have also told me they have the best babychinos ever!
Lovely coffee, delicious food and the owners are absolutely amazing, kind and very welcoming. A great atmosphere and the new garden is stunning, I know where my summer days will be spent. No better place then the copplepot 😁❤
Ozzie, the owner, is an amazing guy with lots of energy & welcoming. He makes you feel at home. I always go there for a Tumeric Latte with a shot of my favourite, Hennessey cognac. The food is awesome. There is a hidden secret garden at the rear of the shop, a gem waiting to be discovered, makes you feel that youre in Spain with Cherry Blossoms hanging. Must go if youre getting off Gunnersbury Station or in the vicinity. Highly recommended.
Weird and wonderful. Hipster AF.Every time Im around I make an effort to come.Egg Sandwich on Brioche Bun is amazing.Toasties are nice as well: about 25-30 different combinations to choose from.Smoothies really fresh and tasty. And the specialty coffee is to die for.Im not saying anything about the ambience, because you have to experience yourself!
The best hot chocolate I ever tasted - salted caramel!! Lovely outdoor area, super friendly & polite service ❤️
Beautiful spot, unique decor and vibe make this a great place to sit with family & friends. Coffee is honestly the best I’ve had, smooth and great tasting with gorgeous art, miles ahead of any other coffee place I’ve been to and food is lovely too. Ozzie the owner is a great guy, friendly and makes sure you have a perfect experience. New garden spot that has opened is so nice to relax in the sun, cannot recommend enough!
I have just visited this BEAUTIFUL cafe. The food was amazing the staff where so polite. And the salted caramel hot chocolate was just out of this world.I highly recommend you visit this place. Its a break form normality.so much love has gone into making this cafe you can actually feel it.The only thing I would ask for are some Hallal options on the menu.I have totally fallen in love with this place.
The coffee here is off the chain good, and I dont say that lightly. Its fantastic and I am frequently drawn to it for a swift macchiato or more leisurely flat white whenever Im within a mile and a half of it.It does this without any fuss and the staff are helpful and friendly and put to shame a whole lot of other hipster nonsense establishments that try to hard and come up serving an inferior cup of Joe.The foodis pretty good too and I really missed my vegan fix during the pandemic when they had to withdraw their food offering. I bought my mum a bag of their beans because she loves it too.
Best coffee in London - great service, great taste. This place oozes a passion for coffee that I love.
This morning I ordered a oat milk sticky toffee hot chocolate! The only words I can describe the flavour is WOW! BEST HOT CHOCOLATE IN TOWN.And the team on-site so helpful and friendly. Even though I was in the shop for under 10 minutes, I really did feel valued and shall definitely be returning again.
The best coffee and toasties in town! Perfect if your popping in to get a quick coffee or looking to stay in and get cozy with the fun funky decor! Excellent selection of coffee, sweet and savory options/snacks. My Brûlée Coffee was absolutely divine accompanied with a tomato, mozzarella & pesto toasty. Def a good weekend spot to enjoy with friends or with a simple book while sipping on some amazing coffee.
We go to tonnes of cafes each year and just discovered this gem! The turmeric latte was delicious. The cakes superb. The decor brilliant. Overall excellent! The staff were warm and welcoming.
Unique coffee shop next to Gunnersburry tube station, on your left hand side. Lovely interior . Super friendly guys too.
Delicious coffee and carrot cake.Funky decorations inside.Had the ramen as well which was delicious and a little spicy.Would highly recommend!
Delicious coffee in a very funky and cool little shop. Was right on our way to the underground so great place to stop.
Absolutely my new favourite place to go to for a great coffee, brunch, and nice place to chill. Lovely staff too :)
Its a bold coffee shop that advertises cortado - its a perfect one that knows how to make it right. As always when I see cortado on the board, I like to see what Im given. Here, its a tiny pinch of good coffee doubled with milk - as good as youd find in Madrid. The coffee is smooth - theyve got a good roast that doesnt so much swagger as schmooze down, all the while drawing you towards the small but excellent selection of pastries and grilled sandwiches.Take some time to admire the decor too: its organic, as natural a flow as the oldest bookshops in London with nothing new or out of place. Its little touches like this that reflect on the quality of the operation - they take time to do things right rather than bombard you with mediocrity. Please, go and pay tribute
If you are truly in love with or fascinated with colours and magic like I am and still nurture a child on you then you want to visit this truly magical coffee experience in this gem of a place!!! And of course have GREAT coffee! The walls are covered with their loyalty cards which once belonged to customers. The decor is a childs paradise. I cant wait for this to open up post lockdown so that I can savour all their signature collection of colourful coffees!!!
One of Londons most quirky cafes. Stepping into this cafe is like walking through the door to Alice in Wonderland only its Penguin land with umbrellas, hanging flowers and penguins here, there and everywhere. BVUT the coffee is friggin amazing, good atmosphere, extra room in the basement if needed and friendly helpful staff. There is food and you have fun no matter your mood!!!
My favourite coffee shop in the area! The staff are lovely and always remember my order, and are always updating their range too! Great food as well!
The best coffee I ever had.In the morning the que is quite big but it doesn’t take too long to be served. The place also looks very nice it’s decorated in the vintage style.
Missed the bus and saw this coffee shop on the corner and I wanted a flat white. The staff were great and very welcoming. The soya flat white great and the ambience was fantastic. I will be going back to work from my MacBook or just socialise. Great place glad I missed the bus that day.
This quaint little coffee place in Chiswick is a marvel which everyone who is in the neighborhood should stop by.The coffee was one of the best I have ever tasted. We had some of their really tasty toasties with some fair trade lemonades. Overall, a great experience and friendly staff. We will come again.➕ : nappy changing table in the bathroom and great poo literature.
One of the best (if not THE BESTcoffee shop in London! I am very picky with coffee and this is extremely good, the staff is the most friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. This cute little corner of heaven in Chiswick is the perfect spot also for some vegan treat and meal. I would suggest it to everyone! Arianna
amazing coffee from a cortado, flat white, skinny cap to an iced latte. In Ozwald you will find it made to perfection! to add the staff are wonderful and always smiling. a great start of the day :)
Happiness in a cup! After a long journey to work this place, this place is the shinning light at the end of the tunnel. The best coffee in London and the nicest and friendliest people who run it. All the food here is lovely too. Best toasted cheese sandwiches! Thank you for becoming part of my morning ritual. 10 out of 10.
What a wonderful find. Stumbled across this fabulous place after staying over at a party at the hotel up the road. Amazing coffee and toast (sourdough multigrain- also recommend the spiced chai latte. Not like any other place we’ve been to and a voyage of discovery. But the best thing about our visit was Mrs Copplepot herself and her lovely calm and thoughtful aurora. We will certainly be back if we’re in your neck of the woods again 😊😊
Most importantly, the coffee is always excellent. The staff go above and beyond expectations no matter the time, day, or crowd, and have created the perfect environment to either dash in and out, or sit and enjoy the community friendly atmosphere.
I work locally and this has very quickly become a regular haunt for me and my colleagues. Its been wonderful watching the business grow with Ozzie, Illy and co always being utterly brilliant and ridiculously lovely. The coffee is fantastic, the food is yummy and the service is unparalleled.EDP crew love you guys!
