First time and a little underwhelmed. Tables , chairs, cutlery, plates, music and condiments akin to a suburban run down pub. Calamari is a good serve but bland, the prawns were fresh although on the small side and accompanied by a neglected and dry side salad. It would have been nice to wash our hands in a bowl or hot towel from shelling the prawns, or even a few serviettes would have been nice. The oysters were fresh but I would have preferred them to be a little colder. Oh, there is no table service. Cutlery and side plates are left on the tables from the previous patrons. yes they were dirty and plates still wet from the dishwasher I think ?. Fish of the day serve was small and unfortunately soggy, with a bland salad. Why deliver a post mix drink when you have mixer bottles in the fridge ? The mixed drinks were terrible. So bright. It would be nice to see the city lights instead of the patron reflection in the window. The two hour turnaround for these dishes was too slow for me. Staff were lovely although had a limited knowledge of how to articulate the menu. The brûlée desert was amazing.

We spent an enjoyable time: tables with great view, welcoming service, very fresh oysters, inventive corn dip, fresh salad with quality parmesan and pears, great wine from Margaret River vineyards.

New Executive Chef. Amazing food. Kitchen staff has some serious pride. Presentation was good. Lots of gluten free options. Of course oysters were amazing, very fresh and my favorite was the Thai style. Squid was very large portion.

Lovely view. While the staff were friendly, service was dreadful. My fish was nice, however, my chips were cold, dry and crispy like potato straws. Hubby’s prawns were average. His Oysters were not served on ice and didnt taste nice. Cannot recommend this restaurant based on our one time experience. Gave 3 staff feedback, one offered a complimentary drink. We just asked for water, however, we waited 15 mins for the water, it never arrived, so we left disgusted!

Chic place with a lot of tables arranged with high stool seating, (beware - not good for old people so order a regular table if necessary when booking). Obviously specialises in oysters, but theres plenty of other nice stuff on the menu - although no octopus and no desserts at all (!?when we visited. Food was tasty and ideal for sharing. Lively vibe and reasonable prices. Very scary board on the wall names the mad peeps who can eat 10 dozen oysters in a sitting and still live. Amazing....!

My wifes organisation had an after work get together at the oyster bar. We gathered in the upstairs lounge for drinks and something to eat. It was a warm spring afternoon and the sun baked the one side of our table making it uncomfortable if you dont like being hot. The location is great with a lovely view of the Swan River some of which is now hidden from view by the two new office towers being erected there. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced for the location. The cost of drinks was as can be expected for the location. (On the expensive side). The staff were friendly and helpful. For an after work gathering I would say the Oyster Bar is a good choice, but there are other options if you want something more formal.

We booked the rooftop for an anniversary dinner. Firstly we waited 25 minutes for a cocktail I ordered. Then when my husband went to order our food, he was told that he couldn’t order 3 of the dishes as it was from an old menu. This was the menu that is also on their website! He then ordered other dishes. We waited 1.5 hours for 3 dishes! Oysters were lovely and fresh, view was beautiful but we won’t be going back thanks to the terribly slow service. Disappointed as I was really looking forward to going.

Had the oyster taster plate, octopus salad and seafood platter. It was really good and the octopus was really tender. Highly recommend these dishes.

Ever since this place opened up, its been my go-to place when craving oysters. Been here a number of times and never disappoints.Went back here for dinner recently, about a week ago. We had a bit of an issue with wait time and our order was wrong. But the staff were very apologetic and the manager came over to help with the situation. I understand that it is a very busy place, but Ive never waited so long for a meal at this place before. Luckily the staff handled it well and made sure we were looked after.- although the wait time was too long, I would still return here. The food is great and the staff are fantastic.I understand that there has been a shortage of staff around WA lately, so kudos to the (twochefs for working so hard that night.

Not at all what we were expecting.I had read the menu online and it sounded lovely but really disappointed with the whole experience. Oysters were average - served room temp and not chilled as they should be.Other food was average in presentation and taste. The restaurant was like a food hall. In such a lovely location on the river you’d expect semi fine dining experience and service. Not going back.

We walked in and before saying anything else the girl took one look at us and said we dont have time for walk ins right now. But actually we had a booking. They sat us down someone said they would be back with a menu, we sat for 15 minutes no one came back so I got us a bottle of water, 2 glasses and a menu my self. Then still no one came to serve us.. terrible start, and really unfriendly and unwelcoming staff unfortunately. I went to the bar my self to order drinks and food and i asked the man if he thought the oceanic plater was enough for 2, he said well considering it is for 4.. I apologised and said it doesnt say that on the menu but lets order it anyway. Platter came before the drinks. The platter was definitely perfect for 2 people not 4 people. The food was beautiful, well worth 85 dollars. Shame the service from the staff was so poor. Hope it improves as it is a beautiful spot!

I had a bad experience the last time I came here but decided to have another go. Would say service hasn’t really changed, could only sit inside, there was limited seating outside with the heater on (especially cold nights). Oysters had a great selection, would come back to try the rest on the menu but hopefully staff are a little more attentive.

Fantastic little spot, overlooking the river at Elizabeth Quay. We visited on a Wednesday, which was their oysters specials day.The prices were average but there was quite a number of options and different arrangements of oysters. Drinks were good, we each had a cocktail. Accomodating to young children, had high chairs available and a kids menu.Few tables outside but that was okay, as it was windy. Ask for a table against the glass window if you can, it’s a much nicer view.

We had a beautiful lunch seafood plates $40 each. Everything was super fresh. Oysters were tasty and large. Fresh prawns were delicious. Also included smoked salmon and the best salt and pepper squid I have tasted in a very long time. Also included a leafy salad and two dipping sauces. We also had the oyster shots that made our eyes pop but again were very nice.I was a bit worried about the service from the reviews but they have definitely picked their game up and they were friendly and attentive. All meals and drinks you order from the bar. Next to no waiting time. Cocktails were great too.Well done Oyster Bar

I went to this restaurant because we had a sudden cancellation, and my boyfriend was able to reserve a table at this restaurant while I was driving. (Every time I go with him, he can always book a table. He said that he had never reserved a table at this restaurant. And fortunately, we changed the atmosphere to stay in hotels around here. We walk from the hotel to the restaurant. We reserved a table for 8 pm on Friday, but it was still crowded. And, of course, we ordered all kinds of oysters on the menu and other seafood dishes. I can feel the oysters here are very fresh compared to many shops. Not too small or too big, good size and my favourite dish was the oysters and cheese (Actually all delicious. The shrimp dish that I ordered was sweet. I think its pretty fresh, but I wouldnt say I like cold dishes. I figured it would be tastier to eat while it was hot. As for the fish menu, I think its not that wow, but the cocktails here are delicious; I love it.Personally, if you come to this restaurant, order oysters and look at a view, its okay.

Had heard mixed reviews about oyster bar and unfortunately we were disappointed. We went for father’s day so yes we were expecting it to be busy, but there was a booking of about 20+ people which had clearly stressed out the understaffed waiters. All other diners in the area were clearly annoyed by the presence of this large group as it was such a small area and they were SO loud you couldn’t even have a conversation at your own table. Perhaps management should consider not accepting such large bookings if it’s going to stress their staff out to the point where they cannot properly serve the other guests. Even after the group left the waiters could not seem to lift their spirits and the service was less than accommodating, bordering on rude. The food was okay, we’ve had nicer oysters around Perth, unfortunately nothing spectacular about it to make us want to return. When I think of oysters I of ‘fine dining’, and this was far from that.

Wonderful fresh seafood and a great atmosphere, cant fault the food and they even had some nice wines we tried. I would recommend anyone to come try this place even for just the Oysters which are amazing. We will definitely return next time in Perth.

Staff are not very friendly or welcoming. Ran out of oyster forks no big deal but didnt say anything until I mentioned only received 3 not 4. Asked for a lobster roll from the menu, had never heard of it and they dont have any lobster, checked menu definitely says lobster. Prices charged still have to go to counter to pay no table service. Told Kitchen closes at 8.30 website says 10.30 pm also poor choice of music I dont want to hear rap or lyrics referring to who is f##$ who while Im eating dinner

Booked a table of 12 on a Tuesday and was seated outside in the cold and wind despite having plenty of room inside. When we politely asked to move inside we were told that they were fully booked, but after we arrived only one couple was seated after us and our request to move inside to one of the many empty tables was denied repeatedly. There was no table service, which made it challenging to order and meant that our meals did not come out at the same time. Some of us were waiting half and hour more for our food than the rest of the table. Staff were not interested in making our experience enjoyable at all, which was very disappointing as it was our last dinner with a visiting family member. Food was quite good but the entire experience was exceptionally disappointing and not worth the time or money.

we dined here for our 2 year anniversary and we’re so glad we did!i booked in advance and mentioned our anniversary. the staff (maybe the manager?was so kind when he welcomed and seated us. he even offered us a glass of prosecco each to celebrate but since we’re both not wine fans he said the first round of drinks were on the house! i’ve never been treated so well and kindly. it was so appreciatedthe food was also to die for. we’re huge oyster fans and loved the selection of flavours. they were so fresh and delicious! the price was worth imo as the service was great and the location was beautiful. the drinks we ordered were also very yummyand the vibes of the rooftop bar were amazing. great music playing, not too crowded or loud either. perfect atmosphere and vibes for an intimate anniversary celebration.thank you oyster bar for a lovely night. i highly recommend! <3

I love the Oyster Bar, apart from the fantastic location, the oysters are everything you would want from a restaurant named after them. Great atmosphere on a Friday after work. Cocktails well priced. On Thursdays Kilpatrick oysters are $2 dollars and happy hour is 5-6pm. If you dont like oysters there is plenty else to choose from, I really enjoyed their tacos. You can check out the menu online and book a table to avoid disappointment.

Overpriced and terrible service. We arrive and got a fantastic table overlooking the Swan river with great views, I ordered drinks and food off the starter menu and waited, my beer and cocktail arrived within 5 minutes but no my wife’s, after another 10 minutes I had to chase up and it could of been a mix up on their part and ended up ordering a different drink with was dumped on the table, we were wondering after 40 minutes where our food was, the waitress literally dumped it on the table and walked off, the garlic bread was mostly burnt and cold, the fish dish was raw ( now fish could of been my misunderstanding of the menu), we left then, my wife complained to the staff and was met with total indifference and they didn’t care, I’d struggle to ever recommend or go there again.

The Oysters selection, presentation, and the views of Elezabeth Quay from the restaurant is excellent but the food items are heavily priced perhaps 3 times as much compared to the same item that can be found in any other bar/ restaurant.ONLY recommend the Oyster Tester platter which comes in half a dozen or dozen sizes and it’s a good bang for the buck. Rest of the fresh seafood from menu, don’t bother ordering cause you can have exactly the same thing at Woolworths or Coles for a much cheaper price! The menu selection is not very unique in terms of the price tag. Most of their starter menu is priced around $20 which is just not justified by the taste or portion size. When it comes to the staff not all of them are friendly. I have visited the place 3 times so far and their manager’s customer service is the worst. No polite smile or greetings. They only have handful for good customer service staff, rest of them just don’t care.I expected the ambiance to be nicer, more uniquely decorated in terms of the prime location of Elezabeth quay. But oh well, it is what it is.

Went here last week for lunch on oyster Wednesday. We ordered the prawn taco, marinated octopus, dozen oysters and chips. Felt like the Thai flavoured oyster was missing a kick, otherwise the kilpatrick, panko crumbed were amazing! Kudos to the English bartender for manning that top floor solo!

Once again Oyster Bar at Elisabeth Quay WA didn’t disappoint us . We have started a ritual to visit oyster bay every 3 weeks after working 2 weeks at the mines and during that time we always look for the delicious oyster . Our favourite on the menu and highly recommended is the classic Kilpatrick and Thai . But all of the oysters on the menu is worth it . fresh from franklin harbour . Today we had the pleasure to be served by Elle who was very friendly from the minute we arrived Elle looked after us . Ella was very professional and is a seat to her employer amd hope rob her friendly face again in 3 weeks ❤️

We were a group of six, from the moment we arrived we were wowed by the excellent service. We were greeted by the manager, and one of the staff and after a quick but thorough Covid check we were ushered to a table out on the balcony. My entire qroup enjoyed the fish and chips, my son and I both enjoyed a dozen oysters kilpatrick, and a giant seafood platter. The oysters were very fresh and well prepared, the seafood platter was excellent. I would be happy to recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Elizabeth Quay.

Great location with stylish design. Roof top view is amazing but needs to be booked advanced. Second floor view is still good with lots of space. Worth for a visit. The place was too busy to provide a good service. Everything needs to be done by yourself. That’s why I rated them 4 star.Oysters was good with lots of different taste which is impressive. Coffee and drinks was above standard. Other dishes wasn’t very satisfied but still willing to give a second visit.
