In a classic London townhouse, this no-nonsense hotel is a 2-minute walk from Earl's Court tube station, 1.5 miles from the Natural History Museum, and 2.1 miles from Hyde Park.Functional rooms come with en suite bathrooms, and have flat-screen TVs, minifridges and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Wi-Fi is available for an additional charge.A lift provides access to the upper floors. There's also a private garden with a patio. Breakfast is offered for an extra fee.
Location is quite good as you have a 3-4 minutes walk to the tube station. Weve had a room next to the lift and could hear everyone using it. Room was also small - didnt spend much time inside so it was okay. Hotel looks nice, it is renovated. Reception is in another building so it can be confusing when you want to check-in.
Recently done up and I must say they’ve done a cracking job. They do take a pre authorisation of £100 upon check in which feels strange as they said they experienced lots of damaged rooms and they take it as an insurance.Rooms are small and compact, but we were happy to spend two nights there and were comfortable. Lots of wardrobe space and draws. Thought would have liked some space in bathroom or a hook on the wallIt’s close to shops, pret, Tesco, Burger King to name a few and close to the high street.2 minutes walk to tube line and great transport links to and from this area.
My husband and I had a very nice stay here. This was the perfect place to start our trip. Our room was compact with a full bed, street facing. There is just enough space for two adults and two medium sized luggage bags. The room was very clean, and all of the staff were extremely kind. We both really appreciated the quietness of the hotel at night. The hotel is literally around the corner from the metro and there are a number of restaurants and convenient stores as well.
Totally remodeled- glad I went! I stayed in the coolest single room in the basement area, and it was small but perfectly designed for one person. LED lighting, giant bathroom shower, heated floors- a real hidden gem. I wish I had taken some pictures because I enjoyed the cute and functional design of the room so much.
although the space is small, the quality is very good. The room is clean, quiet and elegant. I really like it.
Location is perfect but even this is not enough for 2 star. Rooms are very very small, smells bad and dirty. Bed is not comfortable and there is mold in the rooms. Receptionist are nice and helpful but I would suggest anyone to stay on any other hotel.
Hopefully its improved but I stayed here a few years ago and it wasnt very nice. The room my sister stayed in had mould/damp on the walls. My room had a mini fridge that was giving off heat on the inside (!so I had to plug it out to be on the safe side. The rooms were cramped and shabby. Definitely wouldnt visit here again.
Very impersonal. Breakfast is horrible. Some place to relax and stay is missing. Outside breakfast time, they wouldnt allow you to stay in the breakfast room and their is no other room like a library. No desk in the hotel room, a mini shower and a mini cupboard. The safe was not working and wasnt fixed in three days. The only good thing, the receptionist are kind and helpful and speak several languages. This is why I give two points. But the hotel management is not for business guests.
The location was great, but the bedroom was extremely small, there was no space to place our luggage, it was unfit for two people even when it was supposed to be a double room. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was even smaller than the bedroom and it had a very strong bleachy smell that never went away.It was a the worst hotel I’ve been in London, and definitely no good value for money at all.
vry small and smelly rooms . not maintained properly i got hurt two times beacuse of conjusted place. they hve vry less space in room u cant open all baggages in one time . i went there with my family n i opened the baggage one by one. and in the name of breakfast they give u only bread, jam ,butter n boil eggs .thats it and they are not charging less for breakfast.
*** Within the red light area *** If zero was possible it would be given to this really poor hotel. Booked on a hotel reservation site, complained on the day and they did bot understand. Took up with the booking site to be told we should have complained on the day and nothing they could do. Dirty bathrooms, broken furniture etc... Please see my photos.
Booked for a friend and immediately regretted the decision. Do not book without reading online reviews. The hotel only seems to be cashing on the location it’s built in, not even doing the bare minimum to maintain the 3 stars it’s been rated. Just because it was convenient to be in central London, think we are still friends lol. The one star is also only for the location & no credit to the hotel!
It was horrible the room was very dirty and the sheets were full of others people hair the floor had some chewing gum sticked to it the nightstands were also with it. The room was really tiny and the pictures in the website were very different from the real room we said to the workers that we would like them to clean the room so that at least there was no chewing gum three times but they never really cleaned it we had to switch room because our room was degradated I highly recommend reading the reviews of the hotels you stay before you book the trip I dont recommend this hotel to anyone besides the breakfast is in the basement of the hotel and there is no fruit available the breakfast closes at 9:30 and if you go there at 9:31 they will refuse to help you
Terrible. Id rate this as a 1 star hotel. Lots of humidity spots in the bathroom, rooms in the lower ground super noisy due to shared walls to the kitchens, staff not friendly and they start kicking out of the breakfast room by start taking the food away and broom the floor. Being friendly is free.
An absolute fail as hotel, small and uncomfortable room, high prices. The breakfast area was like a tuna can with a crowd of people trying to have the poor breakfast they serve. The only good thing about it is that is near the subway station. Wouldnt recommend this hotel. I spent half the price of this room for a double quality room the next day in Birmingham.
Liked it. Its an old hotel, but is clean. They clean it everyday, change the towels. The breakfast is continental, but was good, healthy and fresh (tea, cheese, fresh eggs etc). The coffee is good for an english hotel. The stuff is very friendly. Being near the tube station, it is a good choice for staying in London.
This is by far the worst hotel Ive ever checked into. The check-in process was mediocre at best as it wasnt the friendliest and the staff were chatting amongst themselves in a different language. But that wasnt what caused me to check out later in the evening. As I was given my room key, I was told to take the elevator down to the basement and was given instructions on how to find my room. I took the elevator down and navigated a smelly, murky, old, and narrow hallway before I arrived at my room. This is is where the nightmare starts. I enter the room and am immediately greeted with an old, murky smell that wasnt very welcoming. As I always do when entering hotel rooms, I inspect the beds, bathroom and general room condition. As youll see in the attached pictures, part of the wall in the room was scribbled with pencil markings, part of the duvet cover was ripped, a pillow was stained, part of the roof and ceiling had mold/dirt entering my room, some lights and the fan wasnt working, and the list could go on and on! Then I took at look at the bathroom, and saw a rusty three piece shower which looked like it was going to fall apart any second. Additionally, the bathroom was dim, which I assume was partly due to the fact that one of the lights was not properly lit. After this debacle, I make my way up back to the reception and inform them of what I had just seen. They didnt seem appalled nor did they really offer any apology. I asked to be put in another room and was told that it would be much smaller, as the room I currently had was an upgrade (Ha!). Prior to checking into my new, smaller, room, the front desk agent accompanied me to inspect what I had complained about. She showed no empathy and simply implied that I shouldnt complain as this is the type of hotel I booked (a.k.a 3-star hotel). Mind you, Ive stayed at 24 Euro a night youth hostels that were more hospitable, comfortable, and MOST importantly clean. Long story short, my second room was slightly better than my first room, but wasnt clean and ultimately I did not feel comfortable staying in such an environment.I urge you to find a different accommodation for your stay in London. I realize this is a budget hotel, but considering the fact that Ive worked in the hospitality industry and also stayed at other cleaner, more comfortable budget hotels, I know that this isnt and shouldnt be the standard. I recommend staying at the Mowbray Court Hotel two doors down from the Oxford, as I stayed there for one night earlier in the week and it was lightyears better.I would give this hotel zero stars if I could!
This hotel was absolutely awful. The staff were rude and unhelpful and the rooms were dirty. Our TV would not work and neither would our radiator. We had to call reception and ask for someone to come up every time we wanted to put it on or off. There were no duvets and it was during the end of winter. When asked for more blankets the receptionist was incredibly unhelpful and I was given a dirty one that had been sitting on the couch in reception for who knows how long.
Not very impressed. Yes it is a budget hotel but doesnt mean that management should allow the cleanliness go to waste. Upon arrival we were met with friendly front desk staff but it soon took a down turn when on our way to the room we were greeted by filthy, smelly carpets. Breakfast was okay though the coffee was extremely strong hence tasted very bitter. The dining room staff are not very friendly and at exactly 09:00 when breakfast ends my coffee and toast that I was still trying to force down was promptly removed from the table without asking if I had finished my breakfast. Very unpleasant and unprofessional
Lovely hotel, clean, everything you need for a short stay including a mini fridge and hairdryer!!! Will definitely come again and the position of hotel is perfect, 1 minute from underground and a greggs!!!!! Would have got 5 * but the breakfast let it down, only toast and cereal and boiled eggs, but good old greggs is just round the corner. Will recommend this hotel to everyone back in Nottingham and also a thumbs up to the staff, especially those on reception, they were very helpful and polite.
Check trip advisor if you don’t believe me, but this hotel should be shut down 😂Worst customer service ever, 💯 sulky face the whole time we were served. Window couldn’t be opened and the whole room was dusty, tiny and lighting candles would’ve been brighter than all the light sources combined.Price was equivalent to a 3* hotel (Ibisand the difference in experience is unbelievable!
Friendly staff well done to them. but not a good place to stay 2 small beds pushed together to make a double that came apart while I slept. room is not the cleanest and whoever the handyman is tell him to stop because the room is being destroyed by his lack of skill and knowledge
I rarely give reviews. But I was so unhappy with this place and I’ve stayed at some bad places. Bed was too small for any adult male. The heat would not turn off. Right outside my window was the maintenance crew. So I couldn’t leave my window and blinds open. This is the first hotel I’ve ever been at that did not provide body wash. Just a handful of shampoo packets. Phone doesn’t work to call reception. No iron or ironing board. It’s embarrassing that this place calls itself a hotel. MY RECOMMENDATION: PAY AN EXTRA 15-20 POUND AND STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
It was very bad. I paid for double bedroom and give me twin single beds and the next day and accept with the condition next day give me a new bedroom and the room has a very big problem with the pipes and the toilet had very bad smell with watter and they accept is was bad and I need to pay again for another hotel this day and they need to return my money back . I am waiting for this. Very bad quality and bad service.
In all honesty, it was one of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed in. The rooms were dirty, same with the thicker blankets. It was much too loud during the nights and the heating was turned off, so it got really chill in the morning. The "breakfast" looked more like something you could get a food poisoning from. The breakfast rooms were crammed with chairs and tables and without windows. One of the rooms was used multifunctional - means: after breakfast they stored laundry and luggage down there. The reception was not particularly interested in its guests. All in all: NEVER EVER AGAIN!
The rooms are fit for purpose and the staff are friendly and helpful, but I did have a few concerns during my stay. The first was the temperature of the rooms - the central heating seemed to be on in full force every single night, making it difficult for me and my boyfriend to sleep. Another issue was the baggage storage that the hotel offered for those going on days out - although a great idea, in going to store my bag I found that it was in an openly-accessible room, with little supervision or organisation. It would have been very easy for someone to take an extra bag that wasnt theirs, so I opted to take all of my belongings with me instead, which wasnt ideal or comfortable. Finally, there was very little communication about room cleaning times or what I presumed to be a fire safety test on one of the mornings. To be woken by a shrill alarm one morning, and unexpected knocking from a cleaner (who entered seconds later without waiting for a responsethe next, I feel really quite exhausted now, on my way home.Would recommend as the hotel itself is close to the Earls Court Underground station and as I say, the rooms are good enough for the price you pay, but there were certainly elements of the visit that were uncomfortable and unenjoyable.
Room was smaller than picture makes it look. Requires you to put your key in a slot inside the room to get electricity. Room is comfortable. Somehat dingy looking room, certainly not high class, but well worth the money and great location in London. TV in room didnt work. Maid service was excellent. Front desk was helpful. Refrigerator in room, but i was not sure if it turns off when key is removed from power slot so i did not use it. Very close to liquor stores and restaurants and the metro. Rooms were quiet, could not hear neighbors. Bed was not very comfortable, but was good enough. Free tea and coffee were in the room to make. There was also a hair dryer and plenty of electrical outlets. The room was white. There was one mismatched lightbulb. The building itself was historical looking and very beautiful. Ok I think thats everything. Overall I was comfortable enough and would stay again. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep while they spend most of their time outside the room doing other things. Its a pretty decent place for the fair price as far as Im concerned.
Worst hotel we ever stayed in. Room was small and two camp beds put together disguised as double bed. Bathroom tiny and shower hot and cold. Room very cold and only a sheet on the bed and two very thin blankets left on shelf and we stayed in October! Staff were very rude on arrival at the hotel and charged us for leaving our baggage as we were too early for check in. Breakfast very very basic coffee toast boiled egg and juice!! Coffee cold and breakfast room very small and people sitting on top of one another. Pictures look nothing like what you see when you arrive to hotel and stay. Only positive is the location of the hotel close to Earls Court tube station. But otherwise I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel.
The whole hotel (except the lobbywas freaking disgusting, sheets werent changed after "room cleaning" came that only redid the bed and threw my pajama on the floor, we found a worm and a damn giant spider in the bathroom. Not ending the whole experience, heating was decided ONLY by the lobby, and with 3°C outside we were freezing in the room. Wont come back, EVER.
We stayed here for a weekend this summer and its quite ok considering the cost and location. You dont spend all your money on accommodation, instead you spend it enjoying the city and staying at a decent and safe place. The breakfast is offered as part of the room tariff which is really good. Its only toast, boiled eggs and cereal but it will do until lunch time! The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom as well was pretty decent. At first the Safe would not work so we had to call them and it needed new batteries. We left our valuables and they were ok for our two days stay. I recommend this place if you dont want to spend all your money on expensive accommodation.
I stayed in a small apartment with a visibly dirty and greasy kitchen. Furniture is old and worn; In the bathroom the floorboards are detached. The heating was too high and at night I slept with the window open in half (in September).I was not looking for luxury but I think many things are to be improved.Positive note: the hotel is in a good location.
Rediculiously warm room and the air con was stuck on 18degrees and very noisy. The window opened onto a corridor and the frosting so dont cover the whole window so people could see into the room and watch me sleep.Hair dryer didnt work. The TV had poor signal.I brought all of this to the attention of the receptionist but he was reluctant to help; beyond telling me there is nothing he can do beyond handing me a £1.50 hair dryer over the counter without even looking at me.The room guide leads you to believe the breakfast costs £4.50 pp but it is however free. Something I didnt find out until breakfast was finished .If you want a shower with a cobsistcon temperature then dont bother using the shower. It decides to turn freezing cold for long periods, forcing you to stop showering and wait .Apart from that. It wasnt too bad. For.........£108PN!!!!!
Stayed here for 9 days with 13 other people on a roundtrip of Europe. This has to be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The room was tiny, and since I shared a room with one other person, we had to step onto each other’s luggage to get to our beds. It was also really hot at night, even though we kept our window open and our fan on. Bathroom was small, and there was a weird white goo coming from the wall that formed a giant clump on the sink plumbing. My bed was infested with bedbugs, and now I have the bites to prove it. Our room key randomly stopped working, and after having three keys made and none of them working, a hotel worker had to use a master key to get into our room. Its only positives are that it’s cheap and that it’s right next to the Underground. If that’s all you’re looking for, by all means stay here, but if you’re actually looking for a nice place to stay, avoid this place like the plague.
Do NOT stay here. I know some people read reviews and think that might be one person that had a bad experience and I might have a better one. That choice is up to you. However, all I can say is that our room was dirty when we checked in. We went to the front desk and complained. They offered us two other rooms and we chose the cleanest. This was decent of them (we thought). However, it was later clear to us that the staff talked amongst each other and teamed up against us. We had some items come up missing after our room was cleaned the next day and so we asked the receptionist if house keeping could please not clean our room anymore. He said that service was there for the benefit of the customer and asked why we didnt want it. We explained the situation and he became very argumentative and said he trusts the staff completely and that would never happen. I again requested that they please leave our room alone. He finally and quite angrily agreed and wrote a note to make sure the room was not touched. My parents were staying at this hotel, as well, in another room and asked that their room be left alone also. He agreed. We thought all was well and went to bed and on a 8 hour tour the next day. When we arrived back at the hotel my parents went to the receptionist to ask why the deadbolt on there door didnt work and to ask why the safe wasnt working either. The receptionist explained due to a health and safety hazard the doors no longer deadbolt and he would meet us downstairs in the room to look at the safe. We took the elevator and he took the staff stairs and we got to the room and didnt see him. We opened the door to the room and he was standing in the dark waiting. This really freaked us out but he showed them how to use the safe and once again we thought everything was okay. That was until we went back to our room and saw the door to our room was broken and housekeeping had been in again. We went to the receptionist and I explained the situation and asked again that housekeeping not go into our rooms. I said it was nice of them to replace towels and make the beds but after the first incident wed feel more comfortable if they would just stay out of the room. The receptionist replied with "thats a shock that housekeeping actually did a good job" I looked at him and said thats not funny and he said Im sorry if you took offense I was only joking. Things quickly deteriorated from there to the point we no longer felt safe staying and we booked another hotel and checked out of the oxford hotel at midnight and into the new one at 1 am. This hotel almost ruined our entire trip because of the extra stress, worry, and fear. We did not get a refund and had to pay for another hotel but it was worth it to get away from the Oxford hotel and its staff. Im not trying to sway your decision, just tell of our experience in the hopes that you can avoid all the hassle that we went through. Ours was even booked by a travel agent so beware of that as well. Always double check your hotels and read reviews!
Very basic reflected in price, boiled eggs and toast for breakfast. Attention to detail all looks tired and well worn. Bathroom needs deep clean and a makeover, shower door and the light fitting rusty, no plug in sink. Bedding clean but stained and only a sheet with two well used thin blankets. No mugs coffee or milk in room only T bags. Could be a good find if some investment made as convenient location 3 mins from tube.
single room very small. hot water takes a while to run through the taps. spotlessly clean though. all the staff very helpful and pleasant/polite. could do with improving the sound proofing.
Location:great. Atmosphere: stifling!. We climbed up the rabbit warren stair and corridors (lift is there if you move in straight lines carefullyto our room at the rear at #24. No air flow until we propped a window up with a coathanger which meant we heard train station and trains. Breakfast Room terribly hot and cramped, so dont count on that. Room ("family"so tight we took turns moving, had to shift bed to even get suitcase in. Mould in shower. Missing lightbulbs. Blankets instead of quilts. Asked for 2 pillows and got 1 thin one each. Price similar to others nearby. Staff disinterested. Oh yes, the shower and fridge worked.
This was an alright place. The photos online looked WAY better than the room I got at least. The bed was a little springy and the shower wasnt the most desirable but got the job done. In this case, I think its all about location. So, the room was alright and the location made up for the flaws the room had. Very nice neighbourhood and close to Earls Court.
I purchased a Low Budget five day stay at Earls Court London UK. I certainly did not expect anything to be almost perfect. Not at all. The rooms are small. The cleaning was okay. The breakfast extremely basic; toast, butter, jam, cheese slices, boiled eggs, juice, tea and coffee. The tea, coffee, milk, sugar, soaps in the room was very generous. Much more than usual. What I totally appreciated was the ability of the staff to serve with a smile in the tight, very small, breakfast room. Staff were friendly, kind and ready to help. Front line desk helpful with finding information via the net. I will definitely be returning to Oxford Hotel. It is not a 4Star establishment but definitely a 5Star (simpleFriendly Central Hotel.
When in the night when we first came in, there were no problem. We took our keys and went up to our room and then has been revelead that was a studio and not a room. The toilet was not that great, but then I had a better look and on the floor there where two chewing gum sticked on the floor. But the worst has been the breakfast: a small room for all the guests and no enough food for everyone and overcrowded . When in same time we explained that the situation in wich we supposed to have breakfast was awkward the manager and the receptionist looked like they didnt care at all. They started to find excuses, they started to give the fault by the fact that overnight a group of students came and they were unprepared, we claimed back the money for the breakfast, but nothing to do.The worst thing happened on the check out, they charged us to keep 1 bag in the lockroom without offering this service to is after we had to pay breakfast even if they offered to us any service. The receptionist was really rude and impolite, in a certain point he started to kidding me and speak to me in a really inappropriate way.The staff was really difficult to recognise no one with a proper uniform or any badge.Ive been many times in London, Ive never been treated like that, think ten thousand time before booking in this hotel.
Just left after 2 nights at this hotel with my 2 daughters. I have to say I was disgusted with the state of the rooms. Mouldy walls, Windows and curtains. Black floors from dirt. Basic faculties. Tired worn stained furniture. Guests next door up all night shouting, doors slamming. No lie in due to hearing them set up for breakfast. Moved rooms and next one no better. Breakfast we had to line up outside and then we were asked to sit with another family as no tables, cheese on toast or cornflakes! This hotel needs a massive clean up and sorting out....please dont waste your money.
Not a great experience. Room was small and tired. Everything is an extra from Wi-Fi to leaving your luggage with them. A particularly annoying aspect was the cleaner knocking on the door at 10 am followed by the supervisor chasing you out in the morning. Would I stay again ? probably not.
Filthy! The room is damp and smells like a pair of gymsocks. The sheets dont cover the filthy matresses, the cups and saucer are covered in dust and old coffee/tea, a thick layer of dust and dirt in the window included the mold.Someone elses hair is stuck on the bathroom wall tiles. When was this last cleaned?Do not choose this hotel, even for one night - stay somewhere else.
We stayed for a night and it was awful! We had to swap room because was disgusting shower room was dirty and smell , the walls were full of stains bed were only a sheet , curtains were dirty and mould everywhere.when i went to complain the receptionist wasnt happy that i asked to swap and he was questioning everything i said .Our second room was just as bad, under the bed was dirty ,the beds had yellow stains , shower was on and off with cold and hot water . Went to have "breakfast" and didnt have anywere to sit and was only toast to have . We decided to go somewhere else have breakfast.the staff not very friendly. I wouldnt come back here even if someone payed me! It was a horrible experience.
Camp beds, two pushed together as a double? Lack of bedding and pillows, very basic rooms in need of painting/repair. Locks on the doors were broken, fortunately the magnetic card door lock worked. Water in room was poor and cold until run for quite some time. En-suite was okay, small shower in corner with just enough room for a small sink and toilet. In short very basic, anywhere but London it would be at shared Youth Hostel pricesLocation was good, round the corner from the tube.
Ideally placed for central London close to tube station. However the hotel was very disappointing from the unfriendly staff on reception to the size of the room, very very small!!!! The kettle in the room had to be plugged in over the other side of the room and stood on the floor, very noisy fridge which kept us awake all night !!! Would not recommend this hotel at all!!!!
Quaint little hotel. You get what you pay for. We stayed here for three nights and it was fine. The bed was an old spring base with flat pillows but they give you 4. The room we stayed in had AC and an en suit but the room overall was small. Sheets were clean and the room was too. For 10 pounds you get unlimited Wi-Fi for the length of your stay but before you buy look though the guest book in your room for all the info. You might get lucky. The hotel is super close to some great pubs, M&S store, boots pharmacy and the underground. They offer to keep your bags after you checked out so if you have a later flight or train you can simply store it there and go about your day.Dont waste your time on the breakfast unless boiled eggs, toast and cheese is your thing. Spend some money at the pubs or at the Paul bakery for a decent breakfast.Overall it was a convenient hotel and did what it needed to. Gave us a great start to get to anywhere in London.
My boss booked the hotel for me and yes, it s true, the position is pretty good for the cheap cost of a room, since the overground station is less than 5 mins from the hotel, but this structure is terrible: the room are very very small, old and pretty dirty (I have also found an opened can on the window when I arrivedwith old sheets and towels, no tables and very tiny bed. The bathroom is disgusting, no windows, the shower on the floor and a very small sink (no mat). The reception and the staff is not very welcoming and the breakfast is very bad (continental but no bacon, no yogurt, no cakes, only bread and cheese, eggs, orange juice and coffee). In general, very low quality.
We werd with 4 persons and got a 5 person bedroom which was really nice! There was a little table and small, but good bathroom. I found the beds extremely comfortable! No noise from the street (we were on the fouth flooralso beds were made every day, staff was very nice! Breakfast is okay, room to sit is a little small
You get what you pay for really.Location: Best part, extremely convenient, just around the corner from Tube station and youre 4 stops or less away from most visited tourist areas of London. The area its situated in is lovely to walk around. Shops and restaurants for every neccesity nearby.Hygiene: questionable at best. The bed sheets, pillows and towels were all clean as was the bathroom. My issue was there were two cushions placed on top of the pillows for decoration and these had visible stains on them. One wall had a hand print on it and water droplet marks that looked like spilled tea. These were not bad enough for me to feel my personal health or hygiene were at risk and hey, it was cheap.Comfort: temperature wise it was very cosy, our room had a wall mounted fan and a plug in fan heater and also a nice sized mini fridge so we bought milk from corner shop for our tea - room was equipped with kettle, tea bags, uht milk and sugar. Hair dryer is supplied too but not of high quality but once again-the hotel is cheap! The bed was not noticeably uncomfortable but my back was out of whack in the mornings. If you have a bad back dont sleep here.Shower pressure and temperature are easily controlled.Breakfast: you wont miss anything by skipping the *free* breakfast. Its toast, soft bread rolls, cornflakes, muesli, cheese slices, orange juice, apple juice, make your own tea, coffee (the particular morning I went there the coffee was undrinkable). Youre better off getting breakfast from the nearby Greggs.Noise: there are two buildings for the hotel and we were placed in the second building. I found the rooms to be very quiet but once I fall asleep Im a deep sleeper.Staff: no complaints very friendly.Any thing else: dont think they can control this but after washing my hair and blow drying it my hair felt greasier than when I started due to the water quality.
