Owlpark ikebukuro - Cafe in Honchō, Japan
Near Rikkyo University. The owls are so cute! No smell with them. It looks like they are well trained. Owls there are very calm and friendly You can ask a staff to touch hedgehogs and snake. There was also kingfisher. On weekends or holidays, you will be asked not to stay more than 1 hour.If you buy a feed for owls(300yen), you can have an owls flight experience. One out of three feed will be taken out beforehand and the staffs call you when it starts. Most of owls are able to stand on your arms, ask a staff if you want to.You can ask a staff to take a picture. Very friendly and polite staffs there.
Had an awesome time here!If you like owls it’s definitely worth it:)
There is no drink like other animal coffee. You can stay there for 60 minutes and 1500 yen.Good:- Staffs are very friendlyNot good points:- Space is a bit small, so easily get crowed
The animals there are clearly loved by the staff, they get enough rest and alone time and good care. Staff is helpful with interacting with the animals, too. At times you can feel when the animals are overwhelmed by the guests, but thats what animal "cafes" are alike..
Fun place to spend time with owls, iguana, and hedgehogs.
Many different species of owls. Though it is small. The staff is very nice and helpful
Near to the station.Friendly staff.Nice collection of owls, iguana and hedgehog.Fees is 1500/adult and 1000/kid.If you pay extra 300¥ you can feed the owls. You can touch and take the animals in your hand as per the instructions by staff. You can spend 45-60 mins here. They have photo booths and staff helps you to get your photos with the animals.Covid measures are taken care of.Kids love this place .
At only 1200円 you get unlimited time with the owls. There arent drinks or food, so its more a park, as the name implies. The staff are amazing and the owls and hedgehogs are cute. All the owls have a sign, which indicates if you can pet them or hold them. Some were still being trained. For a small fee you can also feed them.
Staff were friendlyAnd their owls looks healthy!!The best place in tokyo 💕💕💕
Awesome place, friendly staff..
The place is amazing, best one weve been. Clean, the owls look very healthy and the staff is extremely friendly. It was very quiet, not much people we went on Wednesday in the morning. Its was such a great experience, and we were tourists and the language barrier was not a problem, they speak a little english. You can feed them for a little more (200 ¥), and we can even hold them without gloves, overall amazing experience. The entrance is 1200¥, no time limitYou also have hedgehogs and lizards :3We will definetly come back soon 😁
So much fun! The employees took very good care of the owls but I did feel bad for them because they should be able to fly and be free. This is always my problem at any animal-related place, though.
Cute little spot where you can pet owls and take pictures of them. Worth the entrance fee. Oh! Don’t forget, the meat to feed the owls costs 100 yen per (smallpiece.
Owls and Hedgehog are really cute, the staffs are kind and friendly. I spent great time
Disappointing!! Small overheated room with owls chained to logs, puppy toilet training pads under each own to catch their poo. Overpriced, 2400 yen for 2 people and we spent a whole 5 minutes there as was not impressed. Save your $$ and give this one a miss, we left feeling very sad and unhappy.
Lovely experience
¥1200 for as much time as you’d like. No food but we all know that’s not what you go to an owl “cafe” for. Several owls of different kinds available. Most are friendly enough to pet and/or hold. There were a couple of iguanas in a cage that the birds were quite interested in but nobody else was. And there was also a couple of boxes of hedgehogs to hold. All of the animals appeared healthy and the staff was quite helpful.
What an awesome experience! Arrived shortly after their opening hours and it wasnt too busy. Owls are pretty friendly and photogenic and seem to be well taken care of. Theres hedgehogs too to hold! For unlimited time the entrance fee is well worth it. No food or drink, but who cares when you have owls around you.
The staff was wonderful. The owls were very well-behaved. We could touch and feed them. There were also hedgehogs.
Cheap entrance fee. Handhold required no extra fee. All owls are kind. Room is bright so easy to take good photos. Even it claim as a cafe it doesnt serve drinks.
those owels are so friendly, the staffs are so friendly as well . a must see place if you are in Ikebukuru
This was a fantastic experience. The staff was so friendly, we didnt speak much japanese, but she tried everything she could to explain us what to do.The owls were very cute, some was very active and others were not, which was okay. Each owl had a card which described its "features" like if we could pet it, and how it behaves. If I could rate more than 5 I would.
The staff are friendly and the owls seem happy and well cared for. Keep an eye on the two barn owls in the corner, though - theyll hop onto your shoulder and try to eat your clothing! :P There are also pygmy hedgehogs to play with!
Couldnt believe we stumbled upon this amazing place to chill with owls. It was so cool.
Visit there if you are an animal lover! The owls there are adorable! But please do not touch them without permission
Nice place to visit if you like owl. Never seen so many different types of owls and you can feed them.
Cute owls
The entrance fee is ¥1200 for adults and ¥1000 for high school students. If you want to feed the owl, you can pay an extra fee.The owls seems well kept and well fed, and were given breaks from petting and/or holding. There were hedgehogs as well. Petting / interaction times are 11:00~13:00 and I believe 17:00~19:00.The place is a bit hard to find, but it is definitely worth it if you like owls (and hedgehogs)!
Its not a cafe but a park. The staff take really good care about the owl, very friendly and this is very clean.
Best owl Park in town, you can touch the owls and even hold them and feed them. Highly recommend.
This place was a little off the beaten path but was so worth it for us. It was ¥1200 to be able to see, pet, and holdThere were a bunch of owls and the staff spoke pretty good English when we came. They offered you the ability to feed the owls as well for ¥200. They helped pose and place the owls. It was really clean and they care about the owls.
You shall feel magical if this is your first encounter with owls. Do not miss it. This one is a bit more spacious than the other cafe in the same district. The owls look better and stronger, too. The staff are friendly. They bring you the owls and put them on your shoulders and arms. The small ones are cute but the big ones are hostile. The staff will assist and take a group photo for you. This is a very remarkable animal experience.Recommend to visit early in the morning, then you will get more individual time wtih each owl. When you fall in love with them, you start to think about their animal rights.
Not that cool dont let the owls loose and they take bad care of them
This was an awesome cafe. It was a little hard to find but is definitely worth it. You pay an entrance fee and then can stay as long as you like. The staff are friendly and the owls are well trained. They have hedgehogs as well. If you are in the area it is worth going by!
Really great place; fun, affordable, friendly staff.. Ill definitely come again!
Went to the owl cafe first and saw their fees were triple what owl park were offering and you had to book in a day or 2 in advance and only got an hour with the owls. owl park offered unlimited time with the owls, so why wouldnt you come here !?Owl park staff were super friendly, did their best to speak English and the owls looked happy enough although was hard to ask them..well kept and great place I couldnt recommend highly enough!
Very cute little owl park: brightly lit with lots of owls great and small that you can pet or even let them perch on your arm/shoulder to take pictures. Reasonable admission pricing (¥1200/per.), but its more of an owl park than cafe as it doesnt have a menu for food or drinks. The owner will direct you to the nearest vending machine if you want something to quench your thirst. But coffee isnt really the reason that drew you to this place, right? Just grab a take-out drink from shops nearby and enjoy these adorable creatures! But as with most birds, theres no telling when they might feel the need to drop a load somewhere, so pad yourself with the pre-prepped towels in the park before letting them perch on you!
Owl park cost about $12 per entry. Theres no food or drinks which is fine as thats not what Im coming here for. The location is a bit difficult to find as its on the second floor of some small, kind of dingy building, right across the hall from a Vietnamese (or Thai? I forgettravel agency. The room was way smaller than I expected, and they just let us walk in and play with the owls for however long we wanted to. No reservations needed. I enjoyed that accessibility and the friendliness of the staff, I was just taken aback by how small and crowded the room was. There were owls about every 3 feet or so, and most were tied down though a few were allowed to fly around. They were super well behaved, although some seemed very sleepy.
Very friendly staff and 30 owls which the rotate so they dont get too tired. You can pet, feed and take pictures with them. There is no time limit. They had lots of Halloween decorations up as well which was very cute! Highly recommend
This owl Cafe is a tiny gem in ikebukuro. If you like interacting with animals, come here. The owners are very kind and look out for the owls. You can pet, hold, feed and watch them fly around sometimes.
