Owl Acoustic Lounge in Lethbridge

New to town and thought it looked like a nice place to try. Went inside and asked if we could sit outside. The waitress said no problem. Waited outside for 15 minutes, nothing. Went back inside and asked if we had to order inside, a different waitress said she would be out. Waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. There was only two tables occupied inside. Just as my we got up to leave did she come out with waters. Seems like the staff don’t to be too concerned with customers. I will try another time and hopefully it will be better.

Delicious food combined with attentive and friendly service makes for an excellent place to enjoy the local comedy scene.A must see on any trip to Lethbridge.

Open mic Tuesday was so fun! I reomend everyone to go and enjoy the local talent, you never know whats coming. Service could be better, we had to wait up to 30 minutes to get your food, and up to 20 minutes to be asked for another drink after we finished the first.

Used to come here often but I think this was the last visit. food still tastes good but prices are so high and portions so small now.. not impressed. 8 bucks for 4 tiny fried pickles, almost 20 for a small burger that includes a tiny hand full of mediocre fries and old wilted lettuce... definitely not impressed anymore... sad...

The worst service ever! It was 20 mins before we were acknowledged. Not even a hello. Then it was 30 mins before our first drink. We would have to order two drinks at a time, so we wouldn’t have to wait. They were out of almost everything. The drinks were terrible, weak caesar, curdled paralyzer…etc. The only saving grace was that the food was good. Really disappointed over here!

Was at The Owl tonight and new establishment is very nice. Personally wasnt a fan of poem night, a little to political for this guy.However, the steak sandwich was out of thus world!!! Service was prompt and pleasant..Will be back, but not on poem night.

The owl is a great place to go for events! Ive been 5 times for trivia night and its a blast, drinks are amazing and food is great. While i have had my fries come out cold twice, their cocktails and events are a highlight that shines that out of the water! If you are new or looking for something to do, the owl ALWAYS has something fun going on :)

Got my two beers easy enough, after that the bartender decided fiddling around with tables was more important than serving THE ONLY PERSON IN THERE.Sat with my empty beer for half an hour before being checked on, at wich point I just wanted to leave.Will not be returning. Sad, in the old location never had any problems.

They have good food, good beer, and a great venue for checking g out performing artists.

Staff was overwhelmed, could not keep up , were doing their best but only one waitress on when theres an event downtown, someone should talk to the. Manager about staffing levels

Went for a Saturday brunch. Lovely day and the doors were wide open allowing the fresh air in. Not quite warm enough to sit outside so we choose a table inside. Waitress very pleasant which is the only reason this is not a one star review. She was great. Food was fine. However….the band came in and set up and was super loud both in setting up and with their sound checks and then practicing over and over and LOUD. I have no issues with bands practicing. But close your restaurant. We could not visit or focus on anything but the noise. No warning no signage or anything to advise us that it would not be a nice social lunch cuz the band would be practicing. For an hour. Then they were doing other things but yelling across the room back and forth …..Again like the place was closed which it WASN’T. We all made a mental note to not go back. If you are looking for a Saturday lunch or brunch place I would suggest somewhere else.Also if you are going to offer brunch maybe have the makings for mimosas cuz those go hand in hand with brunch.

Great spot to listen to live shows. Friendly staff. Variety of beers on tap to choose from. Theres local art on the walls and a convenient location downtown.

Had to wait half an hour for our bill for two drinks. When we asked the owner if he could help the waiter out he replied we would just have to wait. The worst service I have ever had in Lethbridge!

First of all the atmosphere is super cool, good live music. Staff are all super friendly. The burgers were so good, but what really SOLD it was that White chocolate brownie. We will 100% be back. Hopefully for like a comedy night or open mic night!

Fun shows, amazing food, great service! Went to the So You Think You Can Comic show and I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. It was so good to be part of an audience again. Can’t wait to go again.

We went for lunch on a very relaxed Saturday, it was quiet, our server really knew the menu and checked in on us. The food was delicious and they have a pretty extensive menu for foodies of all types.

Definitely a good place to chill. Went here with family. We brought a couple of board games to play after dinner and they were fine with it. The food was great, i love how "crass" the menu item descriptions are. Service was great too! Will definitely come back for food and entertainment.

New location but same great vibe. Great drink selection including some non-alcoholic beers you don’t find elsewhere. Top notch patio.

loving the new location! soooo much space inside! it’s huge!!! but keeps the same Owl charm we all know and love. the patio space is wonderful. I ordered a chicken burger (cannot specifically remember which onewith fries and it was top notch delicious! our service was great too (thanks to Tennessee/Izzy). really looking forward to spending more time at the Owl!

Funky and cool live music is a plus. Great atmosphere for getting together with friends. Food was good and the price was within reason of other places. Service was friendly and prompt. Only minor issue was locals panhandling and bugging you for spare change as.we sat on the patio but.that was not a deal breaker.

Atmosphere is phenomenal, the new place is awesome. Beer selection is awesome. However, food is bland. I tried to give it another opportunity however lacking seasoning. Calamari was good, but ruined by generic sweet chili sauce from the distributors.

Good food, great staff. Nice open concept feels warm and inviting. Great band/stage sound as well. Lethbridge is lucky to have this place.

I love the new Owl! Wonderful location, great art, amazing staff. My only complaint is that the wait time after ordering has been very high, but thats expected with the world as it is right now, plus a new location. I suspect theyll get better in no time. Meanwhile, this is one of the most exciting places to check out now that Lethbridge is coming back to life!!

Great food. We ordered takeout recently and they missed one of the meals we paid for, they apologized, made it immediately and personally drove it to us. Highly recommend for both the food and service. Have not been to their new venue yet but was always a great environment in the past.

So thrilled to have them open again , can not wait to see what they have planned for the future . Service was friendly food scrumptious even as take out.

Today we ordered pickup from the owl. (The first time since they moved locations.The server on the phone gave us phenomenal service. They were super personable and managed our order quickly. The food was literally to die for. Chicken was 👌. Their honey dill dip is heavenly. Their burgers? Oooooooh, you arent ready for how delicious they are. Supporting local artists? We live for it.The new location looks slick. I hope this place never goes anywhere. If you are thinking about ordering here, its a no brainer.Will probably always be my favorite place in Lethbridge.

My boyfriend and I just ordered from here, delicious calamari, and I really enjoyed their blue cheese chicken sandwich with their vegan chili. Its so difficult to find good calamari so we are really happy we tried this place out.Once covid is over, we will be trying their food in house. Will be ordering again on skip in near future.

The owl is always a great place for live music. It has local artist that display their artwork on the walls all around, which is all for sale. Absolutely love that. The food is really good too they have a full kitchen so you can enjoy a meal and live music at the same time. They have good beers on tap with a large selection of wines and spirts. Make sure and check out the menu because it’s pretty cool. Great spot and always enjoy heading down for drinks and food and music. Thanks team.

Absurdly high prices, mediocre food, and worse yet the Gender neutral bathrooms. This place is absolutely ideal for millennials, everybody else? Go elsewhere. No seriously. Talent was decent that night, no complaints there. Unfortunately that doesnt reflect on the establishment itself overly. For two people, a couple burgers, and two drinks each, an $80 bar tab is a bit excessive.

Great food and atmosphere. Theres owls everywhere, and its very cozy. The staff is very kind and its always nice to go. And its not going to break your wallet.Was there for trivia night once and that was super fun. Being able to order good food while being entertained made for a fun night.The menus are hilarious and makes you want to keep them after ordering. Theyre old textbooks with some of the middle pages converted into menus. Not only that, but the descriptions of the food themselves are funny.Lots of care went into this place and you can feel it. Oh yeah, and theres board games too. And live music some days.

Excellent, interesting design. Reading the menu is a treat, and they have a wide spread of dishes. I enjoyed the blue cheese burger, next time Im going to try their bison burger. I like the variety of local beers on tap and in cans. They have events every night. A cute, small patio. Bathrooms were very tidy.

The Owl is just an awesome place! The last Wednesday of every month they do an open mic stand up comedy, which has helped so many comics get their start! Myself included. On top of that they bring in so many touring musicians from all over Canada. Its the best place for live music! The food is great, the service is awesome and their entertainment schedule is packed!

We went here for the pub quiz hosted by the library, but the food and drink is what sold is on the owl. There are a lot of pluses here. It is very cozy, but in a good way, this is not code for a cramped bar. It also has fun ideas like getting a discount for giving your phones up at a concert. The cocktails are delicious, the menus are very witty, and the food is spectacular. We will be going here again as soon as we can.There are two negatives, both so small that it didnt affect the 5 star. The plating is not the most attractive. In fact, it looks pretty terrible. But it tastes amazing, so who cares about the plating? The prices are also very high. Now I know you are thinking, "Steve, thats a big negative!" And it is, but again, the quality of the food and drink is so high that the prices are very fair. It is just too expensive for us to come here weekly, but we will be back and happily pay for the superior quality food.

Come here all the time to hear the artists. Recently heard Eric play. It was incredible!!! Best artist Ive heard here so far. Im fan of Ales and they have a decent selection. I usually order their Calamari salad or Yam fries. Both are delicious!!! Staff are always good to deal with here too. Ill keep coming back as long as they keep having Eric come play!!!

Love love love this place! Best live music venue in town. The food is amazing as well. The icing on the cake is the friendly staff. I highly recommend The Owl Acoustic Lounge.
