Boat rides are offered at this popular site with waterfalls surrounded by olive trees & monkeys.
Amazing experience and great views. Tour guide are very nice and take care of you very well.
Really lovely day trip to visit here. Make sure to agree c 150MAD with your tour guide but you could also totally do the waterfall yourself as there are plenty of well marked paths in a circle. The food here had questionable standards but all around much lovelier people than marrakech
One of the most beautiful waterfall Ive ever seen in my life. The nature is impressive in the area, and the road to reach the waterfall best view as well. I wished to spend more time in there, but because we make a trip from Marrakech and need to get back, our guide hasnt really spend much time with us in there.Lots of local shops, dont hesitate to try the grenadine natural juice. The trip with the boat near the waterfall was amazing, food at the restaurant as well, experience with the monkeys. Everything was perfect.Like a little advice, dont buy things from the shops in there, prices are double or more. You can find same products at a reasonable price in city markets.
This is usually a whole days excursion if you’re staying in nearby Marrakech. It’s very tranquil and beautiful. There are small cafes as you descend and ascend the waterfall. You can also pay a small fee to go on a boat to get up close and personal. I would recommend getting a guide as well to teach you things about the local area.
We travel from ibis Palmer hotel to destination every stop driver has favourite refreshments point. Where you will ripped off with smile. Example 5MAD price will be charged you 10MAD even written in product. If you object they hate you. No need for boating to get wall fall sprinkle. You can go very close its self for free. Then guide will tell you after introduce you himself that his price to tell you grandma storey is 30MAD per person. Guide will also take you to his favourite restaurant where he eat free BBQ and you will end up per or two person food 250MAD. Then moneys you pay them for photo. Pomegranate juice was mixed with water already prepared so if you hurry you screwed with mixed water juice. Then toilets of same point you spend 300MAD not free pay for it. They will tell you money is not everything but if you do not pay 5MAD they hate you. I would not recommend this place well if you desperate to go do not hire guide go by yourself it is simple straightforward way for in and out
It is an amazing experience however, it is quite over crowded. There is a nice view and is suitable for kids. Some kids may not be interested. There is a boat ride if you want to go behind or near the waterfall which costs 25 direm(currency in morrocco)There is another pathway that you can do parkour instead of taking the boat ride. There is clothes and juice you can pay for on the way.If you like climbing and nature this is a great place for you. There are monkeys that you can feed or look at/take pictures of.There is a restaurant to each lunch but have to pay money. It is quite a journey depending on what house/hotel you come from but is around 2hrs away. There are bathrooms on the way.You have to pay the tour guide some money(morrocan moneyeven though its a great experience.Try to be carefull when climbing and not injure your self. Your tour guide might tell you about history about what happend. If you go have fun and enjoiy.😄.
Its not as ncie as they tell you, and everyones just begging to get money off you. Puts off the whole experience. Also, for your own note, if you get there by a bus and then a random guy walks over and says theyre your guide, you can tell them you dont need one and just walk off. Its a rather nice option which we werent aware of. The monkeys are funny though
Beautiful place! Take tenis shoes with you. Many steps up and downs.
Nice place bit touristic but there is a reasonGot there after big rain so got to see the waterfall in 2 different coloursNice walk around
Beautiful place, You need to wear walking shoes and be able to walk down mountains. They do have steps if you cant walk down mountaits, absolutely worth seeing, beautiful place! but do not feed the monkeys on the way down the mountain, as they can get aggressive for your food.
the place is very beautiful and relaxing.you can eat at one of the restaurants with a nice view of the falls.there are friendly monkeys in the area.DO NOT WEAR WHITE SHOES. I was when I went there, bad idea.GUIDE IS NOT MANDATORY, do not fall for it. the place is free. there are boats that you can ride going near the falls and have your photo taken. you can cross to the other side if you are willing to get wet, but dont worry, water will not reach your knees, maybe just up to 6 to 12 inches from your feet.
***Tour buyers beware***The falls are incredibly beautiful and a must if you are willing to do the day trip. Everyone in our minibus bought an all included guided tour and once we get there a guide is waiting for us as expected. We do the hike take a few stops forced by the guide and eat with the whole group at a restaurant. At the end of the tour, the guide says that we have to pay him 30 dhs each for the tour, even though we pretty much followed the only pathway, with not much explanation.Even if multiple people argued that it was included, the driver of our tour bus was not helping saying he has no money for the guide and that we have to pay him.We suggest getting there and just skipping the guide, even if your tour says its included they will charge you.
Beautiful Waterfall 😍 Restaurants half way to sit and relax and take pictures of the fall, boats you can book to get close to the fall once you get to the bottom and shops from top to bottom.
Truly beautiful waterfalls and it was a great experience along with our guide. It was extremely busy however, so do not expect to relax in the water. There were also monkeys around.
It was a beautiful experience in a wonderful spot on this planet .. A place to stay forever for nature lovers .
Easy to drive from Marrakech. Took 2.5 hours using google maps. No guide needed. There are several car parks, do not be tempted by people wearing Hi-vis standing in the middle of the road in entering their particular car park as the first one we drove passed was not the best spot. Enter the Car park that you see with the most cars & coaches. Once you arrive follow the crowds. (Easy to spot as there are also tourist shops lined at the entranceWe took the steps down, plenty of shops and restaurants along the route to bottom. This took us 15 mins of walking. Amazing views that can be enjoyed whilst eating at one of the 4 overhanging restaurants near the bottom. Considering this is a very popular tourist attraction the restaurants themselves are reasonably priced. Overall worth the drive.
Absolutely stunning place but not suitable if you have mobility or fitness issues as it is a 6km loop up and down the side of a hill on mud paths. Well worth a visit though as there is lots to see and learn. Highly recommend not feeding the monkeys and taking the boat trip over to the waterfall afterwards. Save buying anything until after you get back to the stairs back up after the boats, so that you dont have to carry it. Whatever you do make sure any food or drink you have is in a bag you cannot see through as the monkeys will make a snatch for it and it can be scary if youre not expecting it.
Amazing, well worth the drive, fascinating history and the guides are very knowledgeable and steer you in the right direction, well deserved 5 stars
Worth the trip. Did this through a tour guide but also you could do it without one. Nice to have a different change of scenery and for there to be a nice breeze. Its a lovely hike to do. Paths can be crowded at times. Can get a boat ride so you can be close to waterfall which is a nice experience.
Took a tour there and it was well worth it. Gorgeous place.
Beautiful place, if you have time go also to the bottom of the waterfall
It’s a lovely place. The falls flow is different at each season (in the falls more than summer). It’s a 100 meter high which you have two options to descend (stairs or through natural wayget a guide for 100-200 dirham to show you around keep your stuff safe when you jump in the water. In the summer when I went (august 2022it was full of people but still beautiful. Check Snapchat map at the area to make sure of the water. The water color also depend on the flow when it is too strong it will be muddy.
The waterfalls of ozood its a peaceful place in the heart of natural beauty of Atlas mountain range in Azilal province.
Beautiful day trip. An absolute must visit if youre in the area. We were staying in Marrakech and it was a 2 hour drive but definitely worth it. We booked with a guide through GetYourGuide, it only cost €20 each or something. My favourite part of the holiday without a doubt.
Ouzoud is simply amazing! We booked through TripAdvisor & had a great experience with a very informative guide. Wear appropriate footwear though - theres a lot of scenic walks. Also take some swimwear if you fancy a paddle.
Ouzoud waterfalls is one of the best falls to visit in Morocco. its really an amazing place to enjoy a vaction. Its a high recommended spot to visit if you are in the area, and you can also take a swim.
Beautiful place. Must visit. Great and cheap local food. Amazing experience
Beautiful place, but way overcrowded. A nice place to cool off though in the heat of the Moroccan summer.People will come up to you and ask to give a guided tour. Not worth accepting if you plan on spending time there, but I just wanted to see it and move on so I payed 10€ for a guy to show me where to get the best views. It is beautiful, but not really worth the trip out the more unless you plan on staying for a while in my opinion.
Magical place! We made the tour with a local guide and it was amazing. Take your swimmingsuit, the water under the fall is such an esperience! The boat driver was super kind and made us photos while swimming. Eating there with the fantastic views was cheap and very good. The henna artist there is the best! If you dont see her just ask someone. Buy some food for the monkeys to the guys around. They know them very well and will help you to be close in a safe way. Dont forget to tip and buy some souvernir to help local economy.
Beautiful day out and the monkeys were hilarious. Plenty of picture opportunities and boat ride was fun.Friendly people and nice food that was cheap too.The waterfalls are amazing!
Such a beautiful place to visit! The waterfalls are amazing to look at, at the bottom of the falls there are small boats that take you under them. There are some lovely shops on the way down and several spots to get lunch with a view. Id recommend the restaurant right at the bottom, the food and service is good and you might get visited by a monkey (just hold onto your food). We noticed there are camping sites too for any travellers who wish to sleep in this beautiful setting. Definitely worth a visit
Swimming is indeed possible right near the bottom of the waterfall. Large rowboats are here too but my party was only interested in swimming.
Huge natural waterfalls in a area full of history and wild natureFind yourself a good tour guide and you will learn many interesting factsIf you go to Morocco, Ouzoud is for sure one of the best places to visit, you will be amazed by its grandeur and beauty
Fabulous. Lots of step but not steep and can take your time going back up. Great little boat rides at the bottom into the basin of the waterfalls. Amazing experience would recommend to anyone. This I definitely worth a visit.
Can skip this one if you are a national park fan, this waterfall is ordinary and not comparable to those grand ones in parks.
The place is beautiful, the walk down to the waterfal with all the little shops and restaurants, monkeys etcs...a wonderful experience
I think its a lovely way to spend an afternoon. We did a day tour from Marrakesh and had a good time. The hike down is about 45 minutes and then youll be able to take of of the boats to get near the fall for 20dh per person. There is a café at the bottom of the falls to get a meal.
A beautiful place where you can enjoy your time
Beautiful falls. Nice ride in the boat (5 min). Several reasonably priced restaurants. It is useful to know that you can swim, to me it was too crowded for that.Lots of stairs (down then upyou need to have a good set of knees for that.Overall, lovely and I would repeat
We arrived at sunrise and on Sunday we had the whole place for ourselves it was one of the best things I did in morocco
The waterfalls are beautiful! There is no denying that this is a must when visiting Morocco. The beggars are always the downside of these beautiful sites but we definitely enjoyed our visit. Lots of souvenir stores and nice restaurants.
This was a wonderful tour and experience. I will warn you the hike is longer than they say and a little bit more difficult. I have a heart condition which makes it worse for me, when I explained this to the guide he gave me a much more accurate accounting of what we had to do and timing, and allowed me to start before everybody else so I didnt have to push so hard.
Absolutely beautiful scenery and the rafts at the base of the falls are a must. The guys are expert photographers! Its almost impossible to avoid the monkeys at the top.
Magical place. Beautiful. Very nice hike up the mountain and waterfall is spectacular
Great spot 2 hours drive from Marrakech. Definitely worth it.
Amazing experience. It is really beautiful and if your physic allows it then take your time and go for a walk along the river. If you do you will experience some extremely beautiful scenery. The nature is beyond words.
Wow this simply breathtaking waterfall just has to be seen, and to date one of the most spectacular views I think Ive ever witnessed, it was like stepping onto the set of aJurassic Park movie, nature at its perfect best.Plently of shops, cafes and restaurants adorning the countless steps descending to the base of the Waterfall.Simply incredible ❤️
Beautiful waterfalls, absolutely worth visiting. Make sure to have 3-4 hours in order to visit the waterfalls properly. Do the boat trip, its 2$ and worth it.
Expect pushy tour guides. Stand your ground. Dont need them. Plenty of very nice shop keepers and restaurant owners who will call for your attention but not annoyingly.Waterfalls are a nice sight. Well worth our day trip out from Marakkesh
An incredible and beautiful waterfall with some swimming areas. There are cafés and souvenir opportunities lining the steps (lotsleading down to the cascade. Must visit!
