Love it love it love it! Super friendly, nice cabins and so peaceful, also next up a lake with huge small mouth bass. I wish I couldve moved in

The Outpost Lodge Is the most wonderful place. Jim and Ann are the greatest hosts. The meals are fantastic. The fishing is fishing. Sometimes it great sometimes Its not. I go there for the Smallmouth Bass, Walleye And Pike.

Its a wonderful lodge with lots to do and view. It is also an amazing base camp to explore the surrounding area which Jim and Ann know very well.The picture below of the "Pig Pen Chutes is one of many sites we never knew about before. We have a cabin nearby and enjoy the evening dining, the unique antiques and great treatment by this family of hosts, cooks and dedicated servers.

Stayed at the Outpost for a few days with my two daughters and absolutely loved it.Had a great time, even caught a couple of fish from the paddle boat.Water is crystal clear for swimming. Somany places to go visit, we needed more time to do everything.Ann and Jim are a delightful couple, always checking on us to see if we were comfortable. Will be going back for sureBonita

A slice of heaven on a beautiful lake, kept by the kindest people.

If you’re looking to catch fish this is not the place. The rooms were very hot and the owner was no help with locating fishing spots. Very poor fishing.

2011 visit,The home cooked meals were excellent! The fishing at tunnel lake and a few of the local lakes were really fun for smallmouth bass fishing. Lake was beautiful.Would highly recommend.

Fantastic hosts, amazing food.

This place is beautiful! I had the pleasure of being married here, it was perfect. Jim and Ann serve delicious home cooked meals daily for cottage renters and anyone deciding to take a drive up just for dinner. Space is limited so you need to make reservations. I would highly recommend camping here, and the dinners!

We are locals who, everyone in a while, visit the Outpost Lodge for dinners. Last nite we reserved the whole dining room for a going away party for friends. Sundays the meal is ham but I requested the port roast dinner with chocolate eclairs for desert as it is a favourite of the guest of honour. This was no trouble at all for Jim and Anne and their server Gary. There were 24 of us and we all were treated like kings. The meal was delicious as always and our every need was met with a smile and courteous service.We are so fortunate to have this gem in our "neighborhood" and we look forward to many more special dinners at the Outpost Lodge.
