We enjoyed our meal. We had an early meal before a show. So there werent many customers. Service and food were great though.

Had a nice time, food was good drinks were great but only downside is no one mentioned there was a whole kids play room at the back of the restaurant. Where we were seated we didnt see it at all until we went to look for the toilet as we were leaving. With two small kids who would have been entertained for a long time this is definitely something that needs to be pointed out to customers as we only left due to kids getting restless (as the adult meals were taking a while as they didnt get put through the systemotherwise we would have stayed for more drinks and dessert (spending more money).

Beer was delicious, only thing they didnt have to make. Fish and chips came out after 45 minutes tasting like it was marinated in someones arse. Steak burger was cold on a Maccas bun and tasted like it had been left out on the floor for 3 months. Chips were the same as the frozen chips you can get from spudshed for $1.50 per 5 kg cooked in a microwave. Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Food was pricey, but O. K. The service though was among the worst we heve ever experienced. Both waiters permanently looked the other way when we tried to order another drink or dessert. Obviously we were too much work for them. We normally give generous tips, but didnt give a penny for this non- service.

A restaurant for kangaroo and crocodile dishes. I ordered a fish dish while my friend ordered the kangaroo dish witch he liked so much . I couldn’t check since it’s not Halal. The stuff there were very friendly and know how to make you visit again. It’s nice place.

Seems like it was once a popular place to be but is now in decline. The servers were just looking to clock out, and the atmosphere was rather sad. The food was good but the price was a little high.

Kitchen staff need to make what the menu says not just whatever comes to mind.If a salad comprises 6 items in the menu then that should be what is on the plate.Poor front of house staff. Bringing food & drinks to the wrong tables & also charging the tab to the wrong table make this place a shambles.Couldnt even work out a split bill without coming up short because they forgot to charge people that had already left, then expect others to pay lol

Not even a 1 star. What a joke, waited over 40 minutes after placing our diner order. And it wasnt even placed with the kitchen. They couldnt gave given a rats when i complained. Never again!!

Food was really enjoyable and yum but just not as enjoyable as another similar restaurant we’ve been to recently.The salad was smaller and had no dressing. Waitresses were nice and friendly.Thanks for the lovely meal.

One of the staff members looked like they didnt want to be there very unhappy look about them and the plate had chips and a crack in it. I thought once a plate or bowls got damage they could not be used again because of hygiene and safety laws.

Felt kinda silly because when the company I was with was told we were heading to Northbridge, he actually sighed and goes "Do we have to?" However, I cheerily talked him into it and we decided on Outback Jacks. Sadly not a good experience. It was very quiet, not many diners when we walked in, seemed to have plenty of staff and only a few diners. Waited a little while to be seated. The bar staff who were directly to our right, sorta just pretended they didnt see us waiting at the sign to be seated but thats ok. We were then sat down, given menus and water. We were joking about the decor because my mates chair was half foam, the cover ripped off. We didnt mind. Then we were kinda forgotten. No drink orders were taken, no one approached our booth at all. Two others small groups were sat around us and no one noticed we had absolutely nothing. A young server, a guy in a mask walked towards us three times, we got excited but then he seemed to just... turn away? Still no drinks, no food we thought OK. If they are taking this long, the food will take even longer and do we want to stay THAT long. After 22 minutes of being seated with no drinks or food or...anything lol a young man came over and asked if anyone had taken our order. I felt bad for him as it was an embarrassing situation for him to walk into. He hadnt seated us and we hadnt seen him until that point. We said no thank you, and because they seemed to not be dealing very well even with the small amount of diners they had, we thought we would be kind to them and just leave. Very disappointing. We headed into Leedy and had a great meal. Definitely wont go there again which is a shame because Northbridge was dead!...just like Perth City.

Went twice on my trip to Perth . 1st I have the emu and 2nd the kangaroo. To be honest the emu is a bit hard to chew . For the kangaroo it cook to the perfection.Price is reasonable and it definitely worth a visit .

Food and drinks are perfect (like the one in Darwin). Service is outstanding.

Lunch at Friday has better price, one of the weird looking heavy makeup waitress sucks, pretty rude for no reason and had no idea what kind of loser she is. At least pretend to be polite that’s what we paid for, others are all very good except this one.

Besides the guy at the front of house, the service was disgusting. The food was cold, not lukewarm but cold. The food was completely inconsistent and really poorly tasting. The playground was the pull to go there but the food and service were horrible.

I am only leaving a 4 🌟 review for the cocktails and bar staff - in particular Gareth and Harry (I think that was his name). If I were to review on the food and waitstaff alone it would have been a 2 🌟 at most.We were a party of 8 eating out after presenting a conference all day and from the time we sat down, we unfortunately had issues.The restaurant wasnt busy considering the time of night we were booked and it being a Saturday. We had to flag waitstaff down to take our orders, and even though 2 of our party specified that their entrees were to come out with everyones mains they both came out as entrees and then our cheesey bacon garlic bread that was ordered and specified as our entree came out after all of the mains arrived and it took us asking 3 times for it before it even came out. When the food did eventually come out, the quality varied. Food was cold, flavourless and our galic bread looked like it was thrown together in a rush - clumps of bacon and barely melted cheese and part of one persons order was cancelled due to having to wait so long. Ot was difficult to flag waitstaff down to discuss any of this and when we did manage, the blame was put onto the kitchen.The table next to us arrived well after us and not only was their orders taken quickly, all of their food came out before ours without issue.On top of this, our table was not cleared leaving glasses and plates to pile up and in the end we moved most of our plates to a vacant table so we had more room.Cocktails were the only good thing. French Martini, Grey French Martini and the Toffee Apple Martini were amazing.

Food was horrible took for ages food was dry especially medium steak was well over cooked and chicken Parma was overcooked and burnt one side and kids meal chicken nuggets were hard to bite chips were over cooked was our first time there very disappointed 😞Usually Im very happy when we dime out but this was worst neal in a very long time

I highly recommend outback jack. So far I’ve tried steak, Kangaroo and crocodile. The steak experience was excellent, it is juicy tender and goes great with mushrooms sauce. Kangaroo (medium rare with Diana sauce)-also a great combination highly recommend and if you feel daring, try crocodile the meat is white tender goes great with garlic sauce. 5 STAR 🤩

restaurants that serve good food are a personal favourite of mine. this place does exactly that. good food, consistently served to the people. As a member of the people i have to bestow this place with serving some damn fine food, thankyou outback jacks. i love steak. i love prices. bravo.

Wanted to try Kangaroo meat for the first time and decided for Outback Jacks as its more laid back and less formal. The ambiance was great and service, excellent, couldnt ask for more. The Kangaroo steak tasted somewhat like a milder version of beef, a little peculiar at the first bite but then quickly acquired. The jalapeno poppers were so fun to eat and they pack a nice spicy punch. Will come back to try Emu and Camel in future.

Child friendly restaurant and the staff Nini was just so attentive and offered colouring for our 2 boys. Our food came fast and easy tasty! Just perfect for us to recharge before heading to Perth Zoo

Absolutely garbage! Should of known when there was only a hand full of people in there, Had the game meats - came out dry, cold and over cooked! Got ribs with chicken wings, must admit the ribs was good but I’m sure the chicken was well past it’s use by date, didn’t want salmonella before jumping on the plane to head home.

Kangaroo for lunch. First experience for me.Good choices for craft beers as well.

Half a rack of ribs set me back $42 which wasnt a good start..The chips were cold and chewyI usually wouldnt complain, but the taste reminded me of dog food.I ended up getting the $11 ribs from Woolies, THOSE were great, dont go here. So overpriced, so average.

Came in a little after 19:00. Not too busy. Was seated by a very nice waitress. When asking about the grade quality of their wagyu, the waitress asked the chef, who basically had no idea about meat grades....red flag already.... so I decided to try the exotic animal meat platter then the burger as I didnt trust the wagyu. If a chef isnt knowledgeable about that, what else does he not know? So I went for safe options.The platter itself was OK.....some meat was good, some wasnt, not the chefs fault, just the meat quality. The actual taste was meh, no seasoning at all. I get there is salt and pepper on the tables, but you should always season food when cooking. Anyway, it was OK. The burger, like the platter was bland. Tropical burger that didnt taste tropical at all. Was a good experience for a westerner to try the crocodile amd kangaroo ect....but I wont be coming back. The decor was a miss mash, not sure exactly what was going on with the upside down crocodile. The waiters/waitresses were very friendly and attentative. Unfortunately, every time they came over to ask if everything was OK, I was either taking a bite or just had a bite of food.Restaurant 6/10Food 4/10Service 9/10Price 7/10 (rather cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for)

Even with the steak butterflied it was a small piece. I get that it’s high price high quality but when you chew on a grisly piece you wonder whether that’s true. Service was good though

Had the smallest cut of steak, i was extreme disappointed in that, it litrally took 3 slices and the steak was gone. it was smaller then the palm of my hand, as my hand was the tiniest on the table.i had to order another plate of steak only because they wouldnt serve me another steak and had to pay for another whole new meal in order to get the expectation cut of steak..90$ for 2 steaks....definitely wont be returning back to this place.couldve atleast made that small steak mouth watering.dont recommend ordering steak from here, anything else maybe tho

It’s been years since we went to one of these chains. Thought we’d give it a try again. Arrived around 630 before a FringeWorld show it’s a large restaurant and wasn’t busy. Service was good staff were attentive. Noticed the prices were on par with some of Perth’s premium steaks so expectations were high. Unfortunately both steaks under delivered the medium-rare was cooked medium-well and the medium was medium-rare / rare. The fillet was tiny, considering its price should have been either better quality or more substantial. The chips were tasty and its a bit of a worry that ended up being the highlight of our meal. At least the staff were friendly and checked in to see if things were ok, they offered some free drinks/desert. Your mileage may vary! I think if these guys want to be more attractive to the average Aussie they appear to target they probably need to to drop their price or raise their quality. For a similar price one can get a premium steak at somewhere like Chez Pierre or Meat and Wine co cooked to perfection. Something to think about for the owners.

Friendly staff and when the bar was closed due to covid they let us drink in the restaurant at the tables. Nice!

Fantastic meal & drinks. Ordered 8 ball cocktail that was awesome, even though was told it was the first time in 3yrs bar man had made one. Definitely recommend for a great meal out. 👍👍👍

Quaint place with decent beef steaks. Serves also rarer meats like kangaroo, emu, buffalo, croc etc. A wide variety of food, serves fish n chips too.

Friendly staff, relatively fast service and close to the Hilton hotel. A busy street and a big place inside.Had chicken breast with bacon and mushroom cream sauce (minus the saladplus tried a crocodile and an emu skewer.

My t-bone was missing a few pinches of salt. Salad was ok, at least the veggies were fresh. My wife’s porterhouse (ribeyewas not bad. Good cut of meat, but seasoning was lacking. Friendly staffs. Great location.

Went there for lunch twice. Ate rump steak and Jacks sliders. Both lovely. Especially the apple pie is so yummy. Dad could try kangoo, emu, croc, camel,..etc. Staff friendly. Just a good experience.

This is one of my familys favorite restaurant. They make delicious steaks, and special challenge to eat huge steak for 30 min and get it free. Thre are delicious pork ribs. Here you can try crocodile, kangaroo, Emu. There is a childrens playroom. I highly recommend this restaurant as a family holiday or for relaxing with friends.

Where do I start...this place is nice however they continuously change the menu which is very annoying. My friends and I used to come here and always get the same thing until they decided to change it.The ribs and chips meal pictured below is definitely tasty, however the ribs are a bit over cooked, it’s not a chef that cooks the food, I believe as though they hire a young nose picking teenager that just pops it on the grill not understanding anything about meat and how it should be cooked which is one thing they can improve on. However for the price it’s overall not a bad experience. The below meal split between two people was around $35 each.In terms of the atmosphere and location, parking is a nightmare especially on the weekend, the interior itself is very noisy and while sitting children play around and hit the walls of the tables which was very annoying after the 5th time.This place has received 5 stars for value for money and service :)

I like that they have a range of meat to choose from. Had crocodile and camel and chicken wings. Camel meat tasted a lil sour but beefy. Theres heaps of place to sit and staff is friendly. Service was quick good for big groups

Spacious restaurant with relax family feeling (kid room also available). My steak porterhouse angus and my wife fillet mignon. We loved them. Juicy and cooked just the way we ordered them. Steak came with green salad amd chips. Menu also includes ribs, burgers, crocodile and kangaroo meat. Staffs super nice and always smile. 1 kg steak challenge, free on the house if you can finish less than 30 minutes.

Lamb burger was not too bad. My wife had barramundi. That was good. The fish was fresh. My dad ordered a porterhouse steak. A bit on the dry side. Also a bit pricey. About 34 dollars.Overall a good experience though. Service was good. A spacious restaurant. Good for kids. A pram can fit here
