Ski resort with lessons, cross-country & snowshoe tours, restaurants & a toboggan track.
Nice local ski resort with 2 slopes. Can get quite busy though with tourists
I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with snowboarding! A family friendly ski resort, the staff were friendly, there’s a small cafe nearby to have some refreshments & to recharge. The view from the top during sunset was beautiful. 👍
Perfect weather for perfect day out with the friends.
Really friendly helpful and kind staff. Lovely place. My son did not want to ski much but we still had a lot of fun playing in the snow. They had a slide for the snow donut 🍩☺️
Good for a ski refresher for our kids for a couple of days, but unfortunately only 1 lift and 3 slopes open, while lift pass and ski rental prices remained as normal - which are higher than a good resort such as Levi or Ruka. Spent a lot of money to go down slope 8.Ski instructors were great for the lessons we booked though.
Perfect for a single day. Quite cheap, not crowded, and nice slopes albeit not too many. Café is good too and reasonably priced.
We were on Saturday it wasnt very crowdy.Equipment is good, lots of snow on the tracks. However a bit pricy, around 90eur per person for 3hours.
Great hotel, location perfect, aurora view from roof top terrace. BF very good, staff are very kind and helpful.
Booked a cross country skiing lesson through email, this was easy and quickly arranged. The rental shop was efficient and staff was helpful. The teacher was great, she took the time and was enthusiastic.
Super place for a skiing day out
41€ for a one day ski pass. I am not impressed.
Couple solid short downhill skiing slopes, basically in the city. Good snow conditions at the moment
We had the impulsive idea to go skiing, but we didnt regret it. It was a day with a lot of fun !
Amazing place to Snowboard and Ski!
So far so good. Still only one slope open. But looking prospective.
Awesome place and natural beauty. Good for beginners as well as ski professional
Poor service additude focused on serving rental customers coming out of town. No solutions for serving locals during pandemic, specially kids who are on slopes for many hours.
Buy a blueberry shot at the bar and ask for a passcode to the rooftop. Great views of the surrounding area.
It was a nice half day ski spit. It might not be worth going for a few days but it was enough to enjoy for 3-4 hours during our trip to Finland.
Great place for begginer and intermediate level skier. Fun for kids. Very close to Rovaniemi city - 10 minutes driving.
Great for those who have families or need to learn. Pity buses dont work on weekends much so week walked 🥶
Great place. Instructors are really good and very patient. Different types of slopes.
Instructor was very helpful and friendly. Great resort for learning and beginners!
Beautiful place, bring your own sled and have a pizza in the restaurant, good prices!
It s nice and convenient to be able to ski so close to the city; it s easy to rent equipment and staff is helpful and friendly. Only one slope was open so it was a little expensive and boring just for a few hours.
We rented skies for cross country, very kind people. Beautiful landscape and place. Quite, not to busy.
We got there very early in the season. The snow was not at its best and open slopes were limited. The beginners slope was open and our kids whos first time skiing started here had a ball and had a great instructor in Sanna.
Well. As you can see, here near santas village at the arctic circle they are trying to hide all the snow att summer time. Guess santa needs his vacation also. Lol. Great park.
The famous ski resort "almost" in the middle of Rovaniemi City. This is also the place where I tried skiing first time and since then the slopes have just gotten steeper.Super FUN summer "bobsled" trail open daily 12-19. Depending on your skills and guts you might be able to reach speeds around 50 km/h.Outstanding and ultra friendly staff which will take care of your comfort and security.Good old Doppelmayr chairlift will take you uphill, nice and slowly, but that way you have time to take some superb pictures.Worth a visit, if you havent been here yet.
Great slopes! they also have a small area for beginners and children. Theres a cafe and also a hire place for skis and snowboards etc. Prices are reasonable - we had loads of fun here, we hired all our equipment and went into the beginner area - staff were friendly and helpful
Excellent, nice hike to the Lookout Tower and nice view from chairlift.
Great price for what you get, in both downhill and cross-country skiing. The slopes arent amazing and the powder is pretty rough, but its still fantastic being able to ski in the Arctic.
A good place for beginners or people who like to play in the snow.
Great certified instructors for both kids and adults. Nice staff and good variety of lifts and lanes. After a tiring day, make sure to visit the burger joint next to the service building. They have great juicy burgers.
A perfect ski resort offering ski slopes to a wide range of people, beginners to experts and to kids as well with a cozy restaurant and reasonable prices.
Went there on 2nd of January 2019 . And they had no available instructors there , so ...since my spouse had no previous experience in skiing , we spent 3 hours in beginners area , watching other people trying to ski , like we do . Some children there were with their parents , who taught them how to ski , so we just were around , watching and trying to do as they said . Recommend trying to order an instructor in advance if you have no experience , our visit was spontaneous , just for getting a taste of skiing for my spouse. The overall amount of people was not that huge , i didn`t notice any long lines at the ski lifts whatsoever . At least at 2nd of January 2019 around 10-13 o`clock...
Good place to skii and sled. You dont need to pay to sled, just to use the skii lift and rental equipment
Nice slopes, lotsof snow. Friendly personel. Good food.. everything you can hope for. Both thumbs up 👍👍
Stayed at bottom of here. Beautiful setting
With no snow in Lapland, this was a brilliant way for the kids to spend 7 hours. Ski school for the beginners and bigger slopes for the more experienced. The artificial snow machines are brilliant. Enjoy the warmth of the cafe afterwards with hot chocolate for the kids. Really enjoyable.
Small but a great place to learn/polish up. Snow rarely refreezes so is usually in very good condition. It can get a little icy towards the bottom of the main slope. Make sure to head round to the back as it is a bit more technical but even less busy than normal.
We rent equipment and took easy start ski lesson here. The tutorial is easy to understand and our teacher taught very well.
The best ski place both for the beginners and pros.
My family and I signed up for private a cross country skiing lesson today that unfortunately turned into a very unpleasant experience—the instructor had no interest in teaching us! My mother was struggling and fell several times right next to him, while he would just stare and say nothing, offering no advice nor help (she ended up leaving the lesson early and walking back to the ski center because she did not feel safe continuing). My father’s skis were not properly set up by the company and this did not become apparently until we were out on the trail and so we spent 15 minutes of the lesson time returning back to the ski center in order to fix it. Throughout the entire lesson the instructor was reluctant to explain any techniques to do cross country skiing, and more than anything seemed unwilling and unable to advise us. It is surely possible that a lessons here would be a positive experience, however not with the instructor we had today. A huge disappointment and certainly not worth the money spent.
Great place for beginners like us. Nice and convenient facilities
Awesome beginners experience and the friendly trainers are always nearby!
Great mini pistes, very quiet so some of the best conditions weve ever skid. Only 6 minute laps though so dont expect too much
A ski resort where you can learn how to AKI with teacher staff. There is also a platform for a professional ski player. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Ski equipments are in good quality!!
Great basic and appropriate accommodation in the frozen Winter Wonderland of Finland. Very comfortable Chalets alongside a great little Olympic standard ski field. Quiet and well laid out for the full experience. Private sauna in the Chalet is a welcome warm up at the end of a cold day out and about exploring the wonders of Lapland. The staff are very friendly. The service in the restaurant is a little lacking sadly as its really the only let down.
There are easy slopes for beginners, plus theres a private lesson taught by a patient coach, I learnt all the basics in 45 minutes!
