Great location by the river with a view to the city. Quiet and fine outdoor areas. Service buildings clean but could be upgraded.

Oikein hyvä paikka, ainakin näin syksyllä, kun oli vähemmän ihmisiä. Siistit suihkut ja vessat, hyvä keittiötila.

Melkein keskustassa sijaitseva leirintäalue ja sijaitsee vesistön ääressä ihan ok paikalla. Sijainnissa on hyvät ja huonot puolet. Kaupungista alkaa meteli kuulumaan jo viideltä aamulla ja siihen ne yöunet loppuu takuulla. Vessat ihan siistissä kunnossa. Paikat suht tasaiset. Caravan paikan hinnassa kyllä reilusti sitä kuuluisaa lapin lisää. Sfc kortillla 42€ yö sähköineen on kallista.

Die Küchen sind in kleine Kabinen eingeteilt, tolle Idee. Sanitäteranlagen sauber und große Duschkabinen.

Ich war im August 2022 mit einem Zelt hier, ein sauberer und gut organisierter Campingplatz, am Besten waren die Küchen, es gibt ein Haus mit 5 Küchen Abteilungen mit je einem Tisch und 2 Bänke ausreichend für 4 bis 6 Personen, das war Super, Toilette war etwas eng, da auch ein Waschbecken mit drin war, Preislich etwas Teuer 1 Zelt + 2 Motorräder 2 Personen für 1 Nacht = 39 EURO, aber die Lage ist gut wenn man die Stadtnähe mag, ich würde immer wieder hierher kommen!!!!

Fin camping med flott beliggenhet, ligger idyllisk til ved elva, gangavstand til sentrum, ca 10 minutter, sanitæranlegg og servichus er ikke av de nyeste men rent og godt vedlikeholdt. Liten kafe på plassen.Egentlig det meste av det man trenger.

Sehr schön angelegter Platz, direkt am Fluss, gegenüber das Stadt gelegen. beide Brücken eignen sich für einen Stadtbummel. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sauber und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

They are changing the prices as they feel like! On the webpage is written 18 Euros for one night with one car. On the reseption they want to have 35 Euros. With such price differences I can not recommend this Caming.

Un camping à l’image de tout ce que propose cette ville : cher et décevant. Le prix est juste exorbitant : 50 € l’emplacement sans électricité !!! 13 € la lessive / séchage !!!Du vol, rien d’autre.

Schöner Campingplatz direkt am Fluss. Nebenan ist ein Badestrand. Allerdings der teuerste Campingplatz auf unserer Tour durch Finnland. Liegt vielleicht an der Nähe zum Polarkreis und dem Weihnachtsmanndorf?

Nice spot, close to River and museums, but also the railroad. Fortunately, trains are not very frequent. The most expensive on our route (54 Euro for a tent, and 5 people). The toilets and showers have nice, slight aroma of sauna. The sauna is also there. And kitchen is huge.

Hyvä paika kaunissa paikassa. Todella mukava henkilökunta. Ainoa negatiivisuus että joku oli jättänyt omat ruuat pönttöön eli ei ole vetänyt vessa.

Fin campingplass med bra beliggenhet. 60euro for en natt med ankomst kl. 2100 trekker ned. Altfor dyrt for en bobilplass med strøm i 12 timer.

Eigentlich netter Empfang, konnten den Platz noch frei wählen. Gute Lage um zu Fuss in die „Stadt“ zu laufen. Es gibt Plätze direkt am Fluss wo man Baden könnte, wenn das Wetter stimmen würde.Sanitäranlagen sind soweit sauber, es gibt auch eine Sauna und gute Küche die man benutzen kann.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr gut gelegen. Mehr Positives fällt mir aber nicht ein.Hier ist es sehr laut: vor allem Mopeds und Motorräder, aber auch Motorboote bis kurz vor Mitternacht und eine nahe Disco lassen an Schlaf nicht denken.Die Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen aber wenigstens sauber.Der Platz kostet für einen Alleinreisenden mit Zelt auch mit Camping-Card immer noch 26€ (statt 29€)Und wer Wäsche waschen muss zahlt für Waschmaschine + Trockner 13€!

Schöner grosser Campingplatz direkt am Wasser. Akzeptable Sanitäranlage. Etwas teuer. 45Euro Wohnmobil, 2 Personen, Strom und WLAN. Juni 2020. Muss einen Stern abziehen. Zu wenig Duschen und kein warmes Wasser. Geht nicht bei den Preisen.

Prima camping zeker voor stadsbezoek en/of aan het Santa Claus Village. Plaatsen redelijk ruim, terrein mooi met meerdere bomen, uitzicht op de rivier, sanitair goed en schoon, miste een ruimte met wastafel waar je even je tanden kon poetsen. Moest nu in de wc en dat was vervelend wat er waren er maar 2.Naar Rovaniemi kon je lopen.

Best camping around. ONLY camping this close to the center. The Central Park of Rovaniemi, City on the other side of the river, small kiosk and a cafe that sells sime pastries and beer and so called ”lonkero”, finnish gin longdrink. From the flagpoles behind the kiosk and cafeteria You can check what nationalities are present at the moment.

Far too expensive, 1 person with bicycle plus tent they charge 27,50 euro for a night. Toilet stall are so small, you hardly can sit if youre 1,98, no "water flush" device like everywhere else, no water boilers to get hot water in the kitchen (no, you cannot put your titanium cup into the microwavetoo little facilities for a camp site this size.Hikers better avoid this place and find a spot 5 km south on the road 4.Staff friendly and the facilities are clean. For this, almost 30 EU is way over the top. Its a total rip off.

Excellent place to stop and stay. Refreshing river to swim in and short distance to city center. Even reindeers may vistit here.

Very pricy campground. Good WiFi. In walking distance to town. Unfortunately no additional activities, a.e. rental bikes or canoes. Good and clean facilities.

Very good location but completely overpriced- facilities in poor condition, if you compare to the nightly fee of 41.50 Euro for a camper and two persons including electric....

I spent two days at the camping site a long the Ounaskoski river in Rovaniemi town.

Nice site near the river and city center. The toilets and showers could need an upgrade and better cleaning.

Very expensive and you just get the real basics. As a 16 year old with a very smal tent you will pay 25 euros. Very mean owner who if you point out that his website says something else concerning the price and you cant afford staying there a second night because this mistake on the website of the camping just replies: Dont believe the internet, all youll find is nonsense and it is not his responsability.

Great Camping in the middle of Rovaniemi. Very helpful staff, good toilets and showers and the camping is directly at the river.

Compared to other camping sites we have visited in the region, this one is the most expensive, while its services are fairly mediocre. Tent camping area neighbors a road as well as the river, so its both scenic and noisy. Showers have hot water, but you need to push a button every 10 seconds, probably to save water, but it could be saved as well if the flow is five times less. WiFi works, many power sockets in public places.

Great location right on the river. However close to the railway so can be a bit noisy. River is wide, fast and deep here so maybe not a good spot for swimming. Not cheap though. We had to pay €50 for an tent with a single family unit. Also no electricity available as standard at the pitch. And it would cost extra.

Nice campsite along the river. But a bit expensive (32 eurosfor a tent campsite. I cycled all the way from the Netherlands and this campsite is the most expensive one along the cycling trip.

Located 1.7km from railway station, 1.2 km from bus station, Just across the bridge from city centre. It by the river with great views.Relatively expensive as it offers basic amenities. Recommend.

Nice place!

Nice camping directly near the river Ounasjoki with a wonderful view over the water and the City of Rovaniemi. In my opinion €41,= for one night with a small tent and a car is very expensive but there is free showering, free Wi-Fi and there is a sauna.The sanitary is pretty clean and tidy and there are covered ovens and cookers and in the same room tables where you can eat. Nice when it is rainy.8/10

Excellent camping, friendly staff. Some noice from the bridge maintenance works but pieceful in the evenings and weekends.

Toilet floor sticky and smelly. Unwashed rubber carpet. Toilet and shower not worth the price. RV parking and emptying OK. Filling water very fast. Too expensive for the unsanatary shower and toilet

Its a lot of money for what it is. We paid 31 euro for 1 night 2 persons with 1 tent and without a vechicle. The camping site itself is next to the river that looks out to a few buildings, but dont expect a quiet night, there is a railroad bridge right next to the camping so dont be suprised to be shaken up by some huge cargo trains in the morning. The wifi Costs 5 euro even for one night so thats a little to much in my honest opinion. The showers are clean and warm so thats a good thing. The sauna is also 12 euros an hour, and in the camping kiosk everything is double the price than in the supermarket.So it is a really heavy overpriced camping, and maybe you just want to skip this and sleep in the beautiful nature.
