Osteria Ex Panificio Srl - Restaurant in Agrigento, Italy
Fantastic beef dish.
Excellent
The servers are exceptional. Came here two nights for drinks and loved the inventive drinks the bartender makes. Highly recommend this place!
First, an hour long wait outside. Then, a hot dish (stuffed squidthat was cold. Grilled vegetables that had no pepper, salt or herbs- very bland. Pappardelle w boar ragu- ok but not spectacular. A place that looks better than any of it tastes.
Fantastic meal - every course was delicious. The cheese selection starter was yummy and both the pasta dishes we had were full of flavour and very generous portions. The dessert (pistachio parfaitwas the highlight though - one of the nicest things we have eaten in Sicily!
Great food!! Best off all places we tried in Agrigento
Very expensive for tasteless food, small portions compared to other restaurants in Agrigento, just the pistachio couscous was good and the waiters were nice
Definitely one of the best we tried in sicily. The freshest and tastiest by far. Had the warm octopus salad and the lamb rack and a fantastic wine that was recommende. The service was pronto and friendly. And the bill was extremely reasonable compared to the East Coast tourist traps.Fabulous guysThank you.😎
Nice atmosphere, great variety of tasty food and helpful waiters. Prices/Value is also fine.
Top!
Good place, cheap and reasonable elaborated Sicilian cuisine
One of our favourite restaurants from our Sicily trip. Excellent ingredients with high quality ingredients and balanced flavours. Not too salty. Our favourites were the octopus salad and stuffed calamari.
The food was delicious. Excellent local cheeses were a standout. The spaghetti with urchin with good, but needed more urchin/sea flavor. Cinghiale ragù was superb. Nice atmosphere, cheerful service -- worth a visit
Very tasty food and good service. The best Tiramisu I’ve ever had.
Antipasto strudel with porcine was real good! The risoto was ok.
Great food and extremely fair prices. 👌Definitely a place I will recommend to friends.
We had a very delicious dinner here. We loved all the food. The risotto, caponata, cannolo. Everything was perfect!
Need to book. Worth the effort. Great wine list with reasonable markups. Fish of the day was very good but pistachio torte was out of this world.
Wonderful staff, amazing atmosphere, Michelin guide. Food was great. Wine was delicious.
Recommended by the host of our B&B, this meal ended up being one of our favorite during our trip to Sicily.Amazing value—just because the prices are low doesn’t mean the portions are small! We ended up ordering too much. The strudel, pumpkin paccheri, pappardelle ragu, and Brusciuluneddru can all be highly recommended. The wait staff was also very friendly.
Wow! We’ve been to several places (including some price’y onesin Agrigento, but this one was easily the best. Must visit! But for dinner, book in advance
a special place in Agrilllento. Sicily a simply spectacular service. fantastic dinner. cozy atmosphere. good price. iowner is empathetic. and also have good wine
Good restaurant with nice food creations.Starter (potatoes and mushrooms with goat cheeseand dessert (pistacio couscousis absolutely recommendable.Main courses are good standard but nothing special.Grilled vegetables as side dish is poor because the portion is small and flat from taste...Even in the afternoon there is a lot of traffic at the street which is a little disturbing.
Reasonable pricing for good food. Nothing too special. The service was only okay.
Every single dish was delicious. We had a very tasty tuna steak. I would recommend the swordfish as I have not eaten a better dish than the one cooked here. The desserts were excellent. The beer is kind of expensive - €15 for a bottle of 750 ml but it is good
Great Great place. Service and Food are hard to beat
Perfect diner for my gf and me !Good wagyu beef and pork rolls.Grazie !
The food was fantastic, really delicious and the meat tender. The service was very slow and the presentation not amazing, but a good meal all in all
Excellent unique food and service. Had the Croaker that was wrapped in aubergine and wafer thin potatoes, accompanied by radicchio. Also the anchovy tomato pasta.
Good food but sometimes a bit too flat considering the price and recognition
Delicious seafood. The mussels were well cooked, the tomato sauce they came in was fantastic. The pasta main was also very satisfying. The only downside is that the waiting staff were a little cold, and perhaps inexperienced? They had an issue with the card machine when we visited, and they did not handle the situation very well, "expecting" us to run around the city and find cash whilst getting kicked out of the table, without being even offered a coffee or so whilst all this was going on.
Hit and miss. Some dishes were great but others fell flat. The good ones are mille Foglia de melanzane and risotto ai frutti do Mare. Spada alla palermitana and tiramisu unremarkable. Involving, which was a house specialty, didn’t work. Efficient service and cozy setting.
This is the best restaurant in Sicily
Fantastic, we like the food, local wine, fresh fish.
A very handsome, reasonably priced and pleasant restaurant in a lovely part of old Agrigento. Terrific desserts. Many Sicilian specialities.
Found this restaurant from the Michelin Guide and it was one of the best in Sicily. The chef there is very talented and although his dishes were minimal and the ingredients simple the end result was wonderful. The prices are reasonable and there is a good selection of wine. Overall it was a really nice experience without the pretentious gourmet dishes that you usually get in the high end restaurants.
Weve been here with the family, we enjoyed the stay very much. The personnel is great and service fast. Prices are very good and food was very nice!
Ok nothing to write home about, we didnt think it deserved a bib gourmand. Service was ok, they claimed their credit card machine wasnt working even though it was, its a bit on the rustico side. Pleasant location on a square in the old city.
Tasty food in beautiful location. Service with lack of confidence (nonexistent), misleading menu on website and to be honest I expected more from restaurant with bib gourmet. Still go and check by yourself
Average. We were in 4, ordered 8 different dishes (antipasti/primi/secondi), everything was or ok, or very poor. Will not return.
Really excellent authentic Sicilian food at very reasonable prices. They really know how to cook. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Piazza Sinatra. Nice ambience and friendly staff too.
Finally a local Sicilian meal, simple but elegant. Good food very typical of the region. Everything was fresh and yet very special. Service was excellent and their wine list was quite extensive. We shared an Aubergine pie, porcini mushroom strudel, Bucatini pasta with sardines, and for 2nd plates; Sicilian rolls and veal rolls. Naturally a cannoli for desert! Great place to visit for local cuisine.
Beautiful and tasty spot tucked away on the corner. The Sicilian Roll (porkand the grilled cheese were fantastic and quite affordable. The Sesame breads before dinner were scrumptious. Service was attentive and kind, a casual yet five star experience. Highly recommended.
The most annoying thing about this restaurant is the unpolite and unfriendly staff, e.g. the waiter who was taking our plates after we finished just said "Finish!?" and went away, very welcoming. Its okay when you dont care about what your guests think about the quality of your food, but when you serve quite average (e.g. a load of sand in your vongole pastafood in a quite unprofessional way (e.g. serving Primi and Antipasti at the exact same time for no obvious reasonfor quite a price, you better should.Better stay away from this place and get some delicious sweets at Café Concordia (around the corner).
The main Dish has been served together with antipasti which made no sense as to eat them together. Pasta carbonare was bad because egg has made as crumbled egg ...:(
Great value! Modern but authentic design
Absolutely delicious! Try the sardine starter. Amazing. House wine is great too. Book a table outside and enjoy some of the best food in Sicily!
Best restaurant we have eaten in Sicily!Absolutely amazing food and great customer service! We had the octopus salad with potatoes and olives, the octopus was perfectly cooked and melting in our mouths, we also had raw fish starter with was incredibly fresh and delicate, and the same for the risotto with burrata mozzarella and prawns. The owner also recommended the wine to accompany to the dinner which was incredible.I really highly recommend it and I am hoping to be able to come back!
My group had just arrived to the city and were desperate to find good food. We arrived at this place and it was packed which is a good sign! The prices were reasonable (8-12 Eurand the food was good. Very kind owner.
Awesome food, lovely place and very friendly staff. Definitely the place to go, the busiate with pistachio and prawns are a total winner! Saw this on TripAdvisor as well with lots of reviews and decided to come here, glad we did!
