Osteria Al Coniglio Bianco - Lombardian restaurant in Milan, Italy
Excellent Milanese cuisine interprétations, great wines, and topnotch service in a hot spot for night life in Milan. Highly recommended.
We love love love this place. Stefano was wonderful! Every dish we ordered was excellent, all the staff that work there made us feel so welcomed! Very nice place and highly recommended!
Truly amazing!!!!! One of the best restaurants - anywhere. The staff was warm, humorous, accommodating, knowledgeable….. and the food: we shared the ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers prepared in a very light tempura style - sublime; heirloom tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella from Naples - exquisite; and the house special Osso Buco over Milanese risotto - I will never have anything that delicious again. A must go if you’re in Milan!!!!
The entry staff are so rude and prejudiceWe went on a Monday evening, very quiet and were refused a table or service - they tried giving 5 different reasons. As soon as a few Italians came - they were given tables without any reservation or booking. The maître de kept saying “bye” to us abruptly and then continued to welcome in new guests.I would avoid. The place has ok food, that you can get elsewhere with much better service and more welcoming to all.
Great food and great service highly recommendIt was super busy but everything was on point! Thanks for having us!We had risotto - OMG!Pasta with tomato sauce was amazingIt was a memorable experience
The boss in charge was very unwelcoming although booking was made a head of time , they charges us 20 euros for service saying that this is cost for bread they serve and clean sheets on the table , we never faced such a thing in Italy and also the food wasn’t as good as we expected .
Good was tasty - particularly osso bucco risotto. The veal crumbed is quite plain to stomach on its own so needs a fresh side. Charges for drinks and service are higher than we have had before. Total for below plus water was 76 euro.
Amazing foods i had been twice love the vibe
Absolutely brilliant place to eat. Great food great staff great wine selection.Very friendly place .
Old stylish Milanese restaurant, engaging personnel, quick and efficient personnel. Good food and great wine selection. One star is missing because my expectation on ossobuco was a bit higher. However a great place to go.
Very good as always. The menu consists of traditional Milanese fare with minor twists, but all well executed. That said, all the food was a bit lacking in salt, easy to fix. Reasonable wine list, exceptional service.
Very nice food and friendly waiters!
It was very delicious and the service was excellent. Very friendly and definitely recommended if you‘re in Milano!
Absolutely one of the best meals we had here in Italy. And, this includes a Michelin star restaurant. Two thumbs up. Osso Bucco Milanese rissoto. They added a new take on a classic Italian dessert to the menu. Panna cotta with a meringue, jelly of Chardonnay, Maldon salt and pink pepper. Delicious.
Very good food and great wine list, attentive service and an incredible location. Make sure to sit outside if weather permitting.
a bit expensive for navigli (4€ for coperto ??but the food is worth it
Good food over, especially the rabbit dishes
Food is incredible and the staff is top. Simone ensured us a night we enjoyed, top service!
Good food and nice service! The staff was very sweet and nice!
Great food, outstanding service. Bravo.
White truffle pasta (€28), risotto, tiramisu, were good. Service was lack luster.
We had lunch here; the set lunch menu was excellent value. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The location beside the canal is lovely. We started off sitting outside but had to move indoors when the sun started shining directly on us, the inside is very cosy.
We had dinner in this Osteria. Friendly staff, nice location and everything was very tasty and well-made. I will come back whenever I get the chance.
I am not rating the restaurant on food quality but rather on service. We were offered a good table and we were all well settled when the staff asked us a bit rudely to move to another table. The table we were being offered was almost out of of the restaurant in a corner. When we asked why we were being moved after being offered this table, we were told it was because the table was reserved. We could not understand why was the table offered to us in the first place . The other table was clearly not our choice so we choose to leave.
Very tasty traditional italian food. Servise was perfect!
Really delicious food, professional and friendly staff. I had the Milanese risotto which was great. Would definitely recommend for Lombardian food in Milan!
We had a delightful moment there! The service is perfect, the food was delicious (osso bucco cant be missed!!and the wine so perfectly accorded to the dishes !!Of course the location is very nice too, along the navigli grande !A 5 star is the worse I could give !!
Excellent Milanese restaurant!!!!! Staff and especially the owner are so kind and make you feel welcome! We had mondeghili as a shared starter, risotto alla milanese and costoletta milanese each. Everything was very delicious and good quality. Desserts are home made.
Great ossobucco, fantastic steak with great selection of vegetables. The wine, good price, nice local stuff. Sitting by the canal the view was great. Young people partying, athletes rowing, ducks swimming. Plus the service was excellent and everything was nice, oh so nice.
We had a very good recommendation for this place, along with the reviews here, so we went hungry and with big expectations. First there was no price list for the wines - lottery for what you will spend. Then we ordered fresh pasta with meat (it was boiled - not very good), the pasta itself was really fresh and after all I can say yummy. Nevertheless I was super hungry afterwards. My boyfriend ordered pasta with seafood. Such a big mistake. You can imagine that there was a storm on our way there - we went by feet, we were super hungry and this pasta had literally 5 (five!bites of pasta and 2 shrimps with a few mussels. Mussels were not cleaned well and also were not yummy. We decided to go for a starter with the wine left - some salami and whatever. The starter was again 3 types of salami(2 bytes eachone of them only oil. I know people have different tastes but this one felt bed even when looking at it. Ok, we asked for the bill and search for a store to buy some normal, tasty prosciutto. And then we had to pay 100 euro. Please, we were yet hungry! And it’s ok if we know that we’re going to some fancy, expensive restaurant, but the reviews are different. So at the end - May be it’s not our taste, may be something else, but we find it as a big mistake of ours and even laughing at the price we paid now.End.
I eat here on my last time in Milano ! Very tasty sauces and meal ! The terrass is very nice ! Good service !
Incredible food ! By far the best osso bucco i’ve ever had ! Over all we just had a great experience here.
Great food, service and atmosphere
The best risotto and great vibe. Not to be missed service excellent
We visited this place on recommendation of hotel and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt very welcome and had a fantastic time with the owner and the staff. they looked after us really well. The food was excellent (we had risotto ossobucco and Rabbit dishand we also had a super bottle of Prosecco -Alice. I would highly recommend this restaurant if youre looking for a typical milanese cooking. It is also well located in the centre of Navigli (canal areawhich is a really cool area to hang out at night when in Milan. PS Sorry Inter lost Giampiero 😭😭
Milanese style Risotto with bone marrow was delicious!
Tourist trap: Good service but expensive and improvable food. Overall a mixed experience. The lamb shoulder was over cooked, risotto was half liquid and the tuna tartar insipid. Though we did like the other starters and the rabbit was good. The best of the experience was the service and a good wine recommendation.
Food is good but I find it very very salty. Very fresh and good quality. Service is good and friendly. The veal in Milanese rissoto is famous
The best meal in our 4-day trip to Milan. Very nice little restaurant close to the channel that a friend from Milan recommended us to try. Booking in advance absolutely required for dinners. The waiters were nice and knowledgeable and the food was simply delicious. Artichokes and parmisan salad was fresh and light and osobucco with milanese risotto was delicious. We were too full to get dessert but apparently they have one of the best tiramisu in town.I would definitely recommend this place.
Very nice osteria located near the river. As for the location i really love this area. A lot of young people, wine and bear bars, good food.As for the osteria: very nice waiters, milanesian cuisine at its best: osobuco, zafren risotto, veal milansian or the pork version which can even be for 2 or 3 or 4.. hand made pasta and so on... nice wine list.
The best food we had in our one week trip! This place is amazing quality food and presentation. The restaurant is cosy and you dont feel too close to the other people dining. The owner is always jetting around and making sure you have a good time. The wines are fantastic, you can get any level you want... A place for true foodies!
Excellent restaurant! I the decoration inside is very cosy and it has an old style. The menu was very good, they also offer more options depending on the season. Wine menu is also very diverse and they always have a good recommendation for you. I asked for an ozobuko with risotto and it was excellent! They have lots of other typical milanese food and it is located in the always dinamico Navigli district.
We were looking to have one meal during our stay in Milan in a fancier address than a pizzeria or a regular pasta place. We were a bit disappointed, the food was not very subtle, my fish was not well cooked and the Ossobuco my girlfriend had was a lot of creamy rice with a lot of greasy meat.Overall nothing tasted bad but we expected a little more as the restaurant had good reviews and was pricier than others on the Navigli.
Located directly on the canal. Reservations by phone, only for inside seating. Outside seating is first come, first serve. The mosquitos can be annoying outside, so consider this point. The food is authentic albeit expensive. I did not enjoy the ambiance particularly, I would suggest giving your money to another establishment.
It was really nice food and service!A bit more on the pricey side , but again, that’s probably due to the touristic location and that i ordered daily specials
Service, environment and cleanliness is in top. The waiter, and the owner, made dinner there a experience above standard.
Authentic, delicious food and great service. Spaghetti Vongole were amazing!
Lets just say that the "Eat" part in "Eat, Pray, Love" was in Italy for a reason. Good location, service, and food at this place. Nice simple milanese food. 5 stars from me
We went there to celebrate a bday. It was quiet and very nice. I recommend you to sit inside for the air conditioning and because in summer there are mosquitoes outside and it gets crowded. Unless you dont mind that and love looking at the crowd. We asked for 3 different plates: "pesce spada alla griglia", "ossobuco alla Milanese con Risotti allo Zafferano" and "tagliata di bavette di black angus". Everything was delicious. Whine: chardonnay bramito was incredible nice. People attended us well, always asking is everything was ok.
Very good food with fresh products. Service was fine too. I recommend this place
