Osteria Ai Pugni in Venice

Local spot with a great vibe - good wine and small plate of pasta for lunch.

This was one of the our favourite bars we visited in Venice. Its right beside one of Venice most famous bridges. The girls and guys serving are all very nice and they serve good drink and small snack type food. You can sit outside or inside but its a brilliant bar.

One of our favorite plces in Venice! Nice staff, good drinks, nice food, very low prices and perfect location at the bridge "Pugni". Trying to be there every year one or two times.

Kind and friendly staff, unique local vibe, a great palette of wines. We drank Prosecco and sat outside enjoying the canals and drinks😊

Very authentic (not a tourist trap - there are many, watch out!and tasty food. Good vibes (I imagine even better if you speak Italianand good location. I thought it was slightly expensive, hence 4 stars, but it is Venice after all.

Owner or waiter was very rude. We have asked to be seated at 11.40 for half an hour approximately but they didn’t let us because table was reserved for 13.00. Also that person even didn’t look at us when were talking. Don’t recommend to go there

Good coffee spot in Dorsoduro

Excellent! A good selection of wines by the glass and beer. We had lunch here and had sandwiches and small bites. Tasty food and atmosphere is 5 stars plus. Very very friendly service. Live music provided by the bar tender who sings along with the music.

Very nice venue although we sat outside to enjoy the bit of sunshine we had and ate a couple of the local focaccia sandwiches offered with a glass of spritz. Staff is welcoming and the prices are reasonable for the city (i.e expensive but not outrageousavoid going as rush hour as it can get quite busy and the size of the establishment can make it hard to get a spot to sit and the attention of the waiting staff!

Best customer service.. above and beyond!! The panini were so amazing!! I didnt get the blonde name.. but she deserves a 5 star!!

Spent many lunch times and mid evening drinks.. great place good wines and staff willing to please they also recommend and let you taste the vino....

Best wine bar we visited in Venice. Cosy decoration with candles on the table, frequented by locals and very friendly staff. The wines were excellent as well. Highly recommended. Oh yeah, make sure you go to the toilet!

Excelent for coffy and sandiwsh for breakfast. Cozy to sit at the bar windo looking out ot the morning rush over the bridge.

Good wines as is the cicchetti, staff really friendly. Played music in the background and local people were hanging around there too

Great food and perfect location.

Nice local place, seems fairly busy. The staff was polite, the food was tasty. And they have czech beer, which in my opinion is superior to all the italian beer everywhere else. If youd like to get away from all the tourist trap food places for a moment, this is one restaurant that I can recommend.

Few plates on a fully Italian menue enjoyed by local people who all know each other, having fun, Family atmosphere... So many clues that you are definitely at the right local place !Even when crowded, they will manage to find a place for you. Known for the wine bar but dishes are tasty with high quality/price ratio... In the end, it ll be hard for you to leave the restaurant and the vibe there!Bravo et merci, je reviendrai ☺️

In an overly touristic city, this is a local gem. Many local reasonable and delicious wines. Excellent food to snack on. The attentive and knowledgeable staff clearly knows the locals yet makes you feel welcome as well. Reasonable prices. A great place to sip on wine on a canal. Refreshingly different. Not a tourist trap. I highly recommend this exceptional establishment.

First night out during our stay and landed here. The wine reccomendations were fabulous and on top very cheap. The chichettis were cheap and very good. Atmosphere in the bar was great. Many locals joined before going to dinner. Definitely worth a visit.

The service was spectacular even during the busiest hours of a Saturday night. Lovely fresh cicchetti and nice selection of local wine. Totally recommended!

Amazing place!! Great people here for sure. Great food, good, simple dishes made with love, I could taste it! Good selection of drinks, saw they enjoy everyone unless of course youre rude. In that case no one likes you and we are all better if you just went to a really expensive tourist trap. The deserts are great too. Its not a huge place, but I mean you are in a city which floats on water, stop acting like a damn tourist and remember the manners your mother taught you. Again great place had multiple great experiences. Friendly, open, family like atmosphere. Thank you Osteria Ai Pugni.

Another cosy bar in Venice with a good variety of wines, red white, even bubbles. They had some delicious cicchetti and the bartender was very friendly. But this is not a big place so you cant sit down if in a big group otherwise you have to stand behind the bar which we did and it was not a bad experience.

Found this random place on a random walk through the city. Good selection of wine and tasty food. Good service and a clean restroom. My wife liked this spot filled with locals. Great music selection!

Found this place on our first night in Venice and came back every evening. Fantastic value and atmosphere. Perfect for drinks and local tapas. I will always return.

Incredible pasta and definitely not a tourist trap! It’s one of the few places open in January and the chef ate right next to us, always a good sign.

Delicious wine, great atmosphere and very tasty cicchetti

Quaint little bar offering inexpensive sprtizes, wines, and pricier mixed drinks. They offer mini sandwiches and suppli (fried finger foodfor food. No menu, just what you see and what they have available in the case. They are good with tourists and have a bartender who speaks english.

Food was just amazing here. Small menu and different all the time but portions are pretty big and full of flavor. Was so excited to try forgot to snap some pics :)

I thought the process were a little on the high side even compared to other Venice Osterias but the quality, taste and service were also better than anywhere else I tried so it was definitely worth it for a quick pit stop in the middle of walking around.If you eat in you can get the sandwiches nicely warned so the bun almost tastes like a pastry. Very yummy!Bathroom for customers too.

My wife, son and I enjoyed two glasses of Shiraz and a few bites to eat. The decor is a perfect setting and the staff very friendly and helpful to our son. Likely a busy place in the evening but an early evening (6pmit was great.

I never miss this place on a trip to Venice. I come here for wine and "cicchetti" (finger food). Wine is high quality and not expensive. Mostly locals come here, and the staff are wonderful and are on a first-name basis with many of the regulars. Always a fun time and lots of people watching, as it faces a small, busy, pedestrian bridge.
