Fun, great atmosphere, interesting beers to try

Really great place! The bartender is really nice and if you don’t like beer they have Aperol Spritz on tap and it’s really good 😊 they also have other bottled beverages in place for beer. The inside feels super cozy and they also have board games to play! There’s plenty of outdoor seating as well. We’ve been here multiple times and each time is awesome!

One of the best craft beer bars in Stavanger. Off the beaten track but easily reachable with bus #4 from Stavanger city or a 20 minute walk from town. Offers 12 rotating taps of craft beer with many local breweries and a nice and ever updating bottle list. Recommended to order food at Fortau (restaurant next door when you walk in the backyard to Tou Scene [where both places are situated]). You can bring the food to ØST and have a nice craft beer next to your Bahn mi or poke bowl. The outdoor seating here is amazing with a beautiful view of the fjord outside Stavanger so on sunny days you should definitely visit!

Good bar and Good drinking

Great outdoor sitting area and awesome selectiom of beers. Facilities and indoor area couls be better. Their symbiotic relationship with Fortou restaurant adds flavour to the experience.

Its a nice little bar with big outsides areas. Plenty of local handcrafted beers to choose from.

Fantastic place, great selection of beer, this is the place to be if you want to taste the latest and greatest! And the food places surrounding ØST is just amazing! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of my favorite places in Stavanger!

An undiscovered gem worth visiting!

Absolute favourite in Stavanger for beer! Great selection on the tap, particularly focused on the local Lervig, top choice. Possibility to bring in food from the righ-in-front Fortou, perfect match for a well served beer. The atmosphere inside at the bar is wonderful, but the terrace outside with sea views in a sunny day is simply unbeatable! The only one but, a bit overpriced, but in any case it worth one and many more visits!

Very cozy and local watering hole. The entire place has an industrious style to it; brick walls, industrial light installations and such to reflect on the industry of old which was traditionally located in the east of Stavanger. Not a large place so for larger groups reservations are recommended. Has a very good beer selection on tap, focusing on local brands but also on the wider selection. The tap selection is rotated on a regular basis.Known for tap takeover events, group gatherings by boardgame and gps based game enthusiasts as well as other cultural events.

This is the place to visit. Retro cool Bar, super service and Just varm and plesent, didnt want to leave 🙂

Love the interior. Patio is great with a water view. Good beer options. Prices are very high. Easily the most Ive ever paid for a .33cl beer in my life. Certainly enjoyed it, but itll be an expensive night if you hangout too long. But you should definitely go for 1 or 2 drinks if you can.

We enjoyed two great beers on our last day of vacations in Norway. They had a great selection but we ordered a Weihenstephaner (0%and the Lervig HopDropSour IPA. Hey and the aelection of music and the quality of sound was excellent.

Øst is a beer bar in the cool part of town. The area is filled with alot of streetart, and if you are here early enough Fortou serves wonderful streetfood just next door!

A good beer community is evolving around this bar. If youre a beer fan, its definitely worth a visit. Different and usually good beer options - although sometimes expensive, depending on your choice.Good environment in a different part of town.
