I believe Saturday open hour is displayed wrong on Google. It says 1030pm closed on Saturday and thats the only reason why me and my wife choose this place so we can have enough time to eat 😅Anyways we came around 915pm and got seated right away. We choose the meal for 2 and upgraded to XL meat which was excellent choice. Comes with 2 broth, 1 appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 choice of meat and deserts for both.Service was very nice even tho we came close to closing time. But I honestly would never came if I knew they close at 10 because I dont want to be that person. But Im glad we came here and ate because it was delicious.

Great food and great service. Well worth the price and they have a decent summer happy hour running.

I was a touch underwhelmed here but the service is friendly and they are nice folks so that helps the rating. The main dish I got was OK, but a bit "dry" since most places pickle the sides when it comes to this dish. These had no sauces or anything on them. We also got 4 sides, 2 were good, 2 were just OK. They do come with sauces and those were good so make up for the main a bit. Next time if I am in the area, I would opt for something else but at least we tried it. You may find some other dishes you like or maybe you like it more, so give them a chance. They do allow pickups to go.

After some technical difficulties with the hot plate, finally got to inhale all of the delicious food! This is the shabu I crave all the time!!

One of my favorite shabu places, with tasty broths and a of meats to choose from. They offer a feast for two which includes a drink, appetizer, soup, choice of variety of meats and dessert.To make your fish spicier ask for the spicy drops.

There might be a line for dinner time but it was worth the wait. The service and the food were great!

Fair prices, quality ingredients, great flavors and choices. The most incredible thing here is the old world service. Someone is always checking on you. Superb.

One of my favorite shabu shabu places in East Pasadena area.It’s the perfect food for the cold weather. Come early or make a reservation as this place gets packed right around dinner time. I’ve waited at most 30 minutes.We always get the lamb shabu shabu and the salmon shabu shabu. The miso soup is mi go-to. I love that there’s a person who is always walking around to refill the ponzu and sesame sauces. Good and quick service. We enjoy date nights here and even celebrated one birthday (with around 7 peoplehere.

Wowww this place is so awesome!!! Got here excatly 4.30pm, and im the first one in. Open right on time. Got seated with friendly servers. And explain well what they offer. The menu is neat and easily to read on..I actually forgot what i got but i attached the picture of what i got. Everything wass sooo good... the meat was so fresh and soft and so good. The soup was so good... and the best thing is the sauces too make it even better..i also got shumai, it was delicious... has a little bit of ginger on the top.This place has a great quality of everything.CleanFriendly serviceGood priceOh my servers name was Monika. Updated on 2/2/21So they keep surprising me in a good way every time we go. Whether it’s the service, food or both. We stopped by for outdoor dining to find out they only had takeout or delivery today (Tuesday’s). We were pretty hungry and don’t live close by so we ordered from the take out menu options, pre-cooked.It was amazing. Same great food, but pre-cooked. They happened to recognize us and know we love the spicy drops, pickles, and Goma sauce and it was already packed for us in the bag.Yes, we were hungry but everything tasted sooooo great. The new item for me was the spicy tomato. Never tried it before and happy I did. Didn’t really taste like I expected and certainly not like an American version of tomato soup. Had a slight tomato taste mixed in with a beef broth base with some spice as a kicker. Amazing.We ordered some extra meat and veggies in case the $10.95 pre-cooked bowl wasn’t enough, but have to say it was plenty. Very happy to have some leftovers for tomorrow though.Will be back soon for both dine in and take out options very very soon! Thanks O’seyo!!!———-One of the best Shabu spots for food and service. Feast for two is a great deal, especially if you go with the sake :Beef for my GF and lamb for me, with soft crab app and churro for dessert. Delish!

Love the shabu shabu! The prime beef was really tender and it melts in your mouth! They also have happy hour pricing which is a great deal!!

Place was great, clean, great service just notice waitress handles drinks from the glass rim, not a good practice this days with COVID, since they used their same hands to pickup from other tables, do the cross contamination is evident there..Its not like they changed gloves every time they visit a table..This happens in most restaurants, but this placed looks like they are taking good precautions, they should look into this small detail..

I extremely rarely eat at ANY restaurant. I like to cook. But I went to this restaurant in Pasadena to meet up with my daughter and her fiancee on her birthday. My spouse was also there. The menu outside on the pedestal did not really interest my taste in food, but when we were all seated, I did order vegetable stuff only and rice.First, the induction glass at our table was OOO (out of order). They came and placed a table top one on top of it, and routed the electrical cord between my daughters and my chair. Tacky. Dangerous. Easy to get caught up in legs, chair legs, etc. etc. We ordered. I looked at one serving plate, long, narrow white, rectangular. It has a very visible chip in one corner. Again, tacky. They brought our drinks and when the waitress set my diet coke down, the male server who later arrived started setting down the food and grabbed my coke and moved it! I dont know..is it just me? I later asked for another coke in a new plastic cup.All in all, not too impressed with this shabu shabu (strange name, I know that shabu is a kind of illegal d rug in the Philippines. So, this experience once again reinforced my decision to never eat at any restaurant. I have many different stories and I have been a professional cook in several restaurants, so...

Horrible customer service! We drove all way to have a sitting and all of the sudden there is a wait! Dont fall for their lies. Made us drive there 20 minutes and offering the worst service!! Food didnt look as impressive either

Such a wonderful place to eat! Small and set in a small strip mall, it’s hardly ever really crowded. The staff is helpful and welcoming, truly a wonderful experience. Process aren’t bad either!

Best Shabu Shabu in Pasadena! Been that way for a long time. Cant beet their broths/pickled onion, carrot & Jalapenos! Even, Irene & the rest of the staff take great care of you. Popular place so come early to hopefully beat the crowd.

Great spot for shabu shabu in Pasadena. They have a dinner special that provides one appetizer, two soup bases, two proteins, two drinks and a dessert. I personally got the sukiyaki which was amazing. The meats are excellent quality, the service was very attentive, and the dessert (churros and ice creamwas wonderful. Definitely a place that should be in your radar. The parking is small so be prepared to park on the street.

I usually dont write reviews, but this place is a gem. Excellent food, excellent happy hour, Superb customer service! Highly recommended. Youll leave fulll and in a great mood :)

Not so friendly staff, especially passer byers, didnt want to use the word "tourists" because Im not one, very disappointed on what they think sushi is, imitating crab, dry salmon slices, and Im sorry but the rice that day, I couldve plugged a hole in my truck. 3 stars is fair though, very clean, nice staff to regulars according to my observation.

Great meat and a nice serving size of vegetables and noodles. Dipping sauce and broth were both super tasty and the "feast for two" was a pretty good deal. Very clean, courteous service, and no extra charge to make porridge out of your remaining broth after you finish your meat.

Very crowded as always especially winter time like now. Prices are moderate to high. Customer service are good.

THE BEST. At this point we have tried everything on the shabu menu and all of the appetizers. We have never been disappointed. The other half goes at about once a week and never has been unhappy. Every ingredient has been fresh, the meat has always been great cuts in large portions. Reverse Happy Hour at night is a fantastic deal. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are just the sweetest humans, they work their tails off and are on point every time we have been. They are enthusiastic about their job and are excited to help out newbies.

Very unique dining experience! It may be a little intimidating to first timers that havent experienced this kind of cuisine, but the staff are there to guide you through a meal you cook at your table. Lots of local regulars are a testament to how good this joint is. Will definitely visit this location again very soon.

This shabu place is very nice and clean. Food is very fresh with delicious soup base choices. I split the spicy miso and konbo and it was really good. The meat was good and the vegetables were fresh and nicely prepared. Staff were very kind and friendly. Would def come back here again.

One of the better shabu shabu places tucked away from all the hotspots in Pasadena. It is worth the drive though to come here. The other non shabu shabu like bibimbap are amazing as well the draft beer which they sell in pitchers. Great casual place with TVs as well. If you sit at counter you have yourself a nice relaxing sports bar. Oh and the shabu is to die for here.

Surprisingly good. A few friends have recommended this place and we finally tried it. Its not as pricey as other shabu shabu places. Staff are on top of things and pleasant. They take the time to explain the shabu experience.If you want the true flavors go for the spicy miso broth. The Angus beef was just right for me but if you want to pay little extra the ribeye is definitely filling. Weekend it gets crowded and theres a wait. Best time is a weeknight on a hot summer night.Its a good chill and fun date.

My first time trying shabu shabu. Very delicious. I got the spicy miso broth. We tried the angus beef, ribeye and lamb. All delicious but the ribeye and lamb stood out. Lamb adds great flavor to the broth. Hand rolls are also very good. Friendly staff. I would recommend happy hour.

The staff was nice and friendly. Went for the first time and they took the time to explain to me the process. I picked the tomato broth with pork and it was delicious. The broth was just right and the vegetables where fresh.

A really nice place to get hot pot when you have a large group! It’s cool because everyone gets their own pot. Me and my group all ordered different meats so we could share them around the table. If you don’t like the sauces they provide, I recommend adding garlic and rayu chili oil to the brown vinegar-based sauce and dipping the meat into both sauces before eating. Soooo good.

Oseyo is a a great place to get Shabu Shabu or bibimbap. The meat they use for the Shabu Shabu is very nice quality and their soy mix is fantastic. The sweat pickled onions and root vegetables in particular are a very nice refreasher.The restaurant is not ideal for groups because the tables have convection tops built in so it limits seating arrangements. We managed to go with 7 but it wasnt ideal.The staff is very friendly but parking is very limited.I really enjoy this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone. Get the spicy miso broth.

The best sesame sauce in town! Oseyo’s sesame sauce is far superior to any other hot pot or shabu restaurant’s. I really like coming here for comfort food - shabu shabu, sashimi rice bowl. Service is friendly and thoughtful. Good quality vegetable, proteins. Tasty sauces. Would like to eat here every day if possible.

Best hot pot for the price point. Friendly and attentive service. Good quality ingredients for hot pot - we’ve had lamb, beef, seafood. The sesame sauce here is the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere. We have hot pot here for the delicious sesame sauce. Ponzu sauce is also great. I only wish they would have Taiwanese bbq sauce, aka shacha sauce, and this would be the perfect hot pot restaurant for me. I would like to eat here 3-5 times per week if possible.

It can also be difficult if you are in a larger group; they don’t seem to have enough tables that can accommodate groups with 8 or more people.Service staff: They were great, friendly, and attentive.The food: We tried the Spicy Miso and Sukiyaki broth with Rib Eye, Angus Beef, and Seafood Trio. All shabu shabu orders came with udon noodles, veggies, and white rice. One order is good for one person (depending on how hungry you are).Parking: Shared with other businesses. It can be difficult to get parking space.

This place makes all other Shabu Shabu lesser! I love to take friends here to experience the amazing fresh food and the fun location. Options to watch TV or not, sit next to each other or across, lots of great choices and a great experience every time! Save room for dessert too, the mochi designs or macroon ice cream is worth it!

Its my first time eating lunch at this restaurant.I bet you could tell how shabu shabu is in here. Yes, its delicious that they have few flavor soup based and dipping sauce for your selection. You might want to try spicy miso as I had. Yummy yummy....

Eating here feels healthy, but is still really delicious. Lunch specials feature a slightly smaller portion of protein, plus broth, noodles and a lot of veggies. Tempura Mondays - for $4 you get a delicate, crispy side of veggies and a shrimp. Other specials on different days...

Got the chicken & beef basic shabu shabu. Ive had better but it was great. Well run place and with good vegetables. Ive been to other places that have more choices and better vegetables, but this fit the bill and the staff is very attentive. Will go again for sure.

Didnt realize this place so popular though..30 mins wait, but called us in 10 mins...Awesome! Small, cute, very nice server...tipped her $20 on a $38 bill...thats how pleased I was with everything. Fantastic soup bases and fine cuts of meat. The Sukiyaki soup base is really flavorful. I highly recommend that. Between the beef, chicken and lamb cuts, go for the beef - its tastier and more tender than the other cuts. The rib eye cut has a lot more fat, so Id say just go with the Angus cut. Get the large for sure. Prices here are very reasonable compared to other shabu shabu places. The large Angus order is only $17.50.Note that if you order anything other than the base soup mix, theyll add an additional $2, same with brown rice vs. white rice.They take reservations!!! So its smart to reserve ahead of time as the restaurant is not that big and the waits on cold weekends could be long. Parking is kind of tight in the plaza, but you can park in the surrounding streets.Servers here are very attentive and always checking if everything is ok. Great job!

Add you can see the pics, the quality & freshness is second to none, especially for the prices we paid for. The dining area is clean, service was top notch, friendly & full of smiles. Thank you for the great meal!! And btw, do expect to be waiting to be seated, well worth the effort!

One of the best shabu shabu joints in LA that Ive been to. Quality of meats is up there, but what really makes this place so yum is the spicy miso broth and the dipping sauces. Some serious slurp worthy stuff there. The servings are pretty standard sizes with typical veggies youd find at a Japanese style shabu shabu place. Never really had to wait here, but there is occasionally a wait. Theres a parking lot in the strip mall, but if thats full, theres easy parking on the street.

Ive been coming here not too long after they opened and have since brought friends and family and EEEEEEEVERYONE loves Oseyo! Yes, the level of Shabu Shabu is great but what makes this restaurant stand above all others is their staff! They are always friendly and helpful, I love this spot and its great to see they are now one of the busiest restaurants in the area!!
