Original Sokos Hotel Royal Vaasa in Vasa

I spent 3 nights here which was rather satisfactory. It was November but the highest degree of the air-conditioner was not enough to make the rooms temperature comfortable.The most interesting thing to me was the tunnel under the street between the hotel and the restaurant.

First time I need to pay for the car parking at a hotel, should be included , breakfast on other house on the other side of the street

The bathrooms and space areas were a little bit dirty, but the customer service was attentive.

Close to the centre of town good breakfast varity, beds were alittle to soft overall a lovely hotel.

Very good services, the receptionist was very kind, very good breakfast, very quite place, room cleaned well, manu services inside. Raccomended

Hotel was nice and spacious. Room rate is very good if you have the S-Bonus card. The hotel presents a wonderful opportunity to combine leisure and work. The complementary breakfast was very good. Downside is that, you have to pay for complementary accessories like bathrobe, slippers and gym access. Also, restaurants open by 4pm which is quite late if you arrive early or youre staying more than one night. Overall hotel was okay for the price.

I was only at the rooftop bar, didnt book a hotel room or anything. Really clean and nice place. Considering the view prices are surprisingly low.

Fine place, in a decade of its own but still a great sleep. The song choice in the morning restaurant was interesting. Listen out for that if they havent changed it.

Excellent! We stayed there as it was a pet friendly hotel right in the centre of Vaasa. We checked in after 20:00 and we were all warmly greeted. First I was handed a small bag of doggie treats and then while I completed the check-in process with one person another very nice lady took my two children (both under tento an small area set aside next to the front desk for them to choose a small welcome gift. They both chose some bubbles. That sort of thing really makes me feel appreciated as a customer. The room was everything we needed it be and then some. Plenty of control over the air conditioning and the bathroom was well stocked with towels too. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious and the entire place was spotless. I would of given it five stars but the shower was very weak. For someone who loves a good "power shower" in the morning this was a bit of a let down. But I would gladly and happily stay there again.

Pillows might be bit more comfortable. Stayed there about one month for the past half year! Breakfast is descent, once I spotted sigarete butt when opened window, in some rooms air condition devices are useless, however it is not often hot in this area. Sauna, pool and gym are great time spending activities there .

Nice hotel with free sauna on top floor with nice views. Hotels kitchen is also good. Not all rooms have refrigerator (minibarto keep your own drink/food chill, but room itself, especially floor feeled cold. Also conditioner seemed not helping.

This hotel does not deserve 5 stars because of a few little things. For example there was no main light source in the room, but many smaller lamps.. which is kinda annoying tho if you want to go to bed and have to get up turning all lights off separately. But it was a great stay anyway, the staff is friendly all the time, the bed was perfect, theres even a small fridge and an AC option in this room. The bath has got a rather big shower.You also have got a smart TV there.8/10 would book again

Basic and quiet room with good AC but a very small shower for a 187 cm man. Single beds high and soft - easy to fall down if going near the edge. No fridge. Good breakfast but annoying layout as there’s two buildings and a tunnel between. Nice staff and great late evening snacks in Wazaca restaurant. Just shy of four stars for me.

Average hotel with good location. Rooms were nicer and more comfortable that it looked on the photos. Big minus of the breakfast room that is on the other side of the street. There is an underground tunnel, but taking your self to breakfast and back was too much effort. In general breakfast was dissapointing. People at the hotel were very helpful.

Nice hotel, but dunno why amenities is not complete (I found this also in hotel in helsinki). We need to ask if we want get tooth brush. Also no drinking water bottle as complimentary ( yeah we know that we can drink sink water in finlandbut bottles is needed also. Pool and sauna available.

The best hotel in Finland. They provide for free good breakfast, the best gym, pool, sauna, nice bicicles to visit the city. The personal is really polite and helpful. Congrats!
