Great atmosphere and nice shots.The tea cocktails are special, do try them.Cute presentation, and the staff are sweet.Closes a bit early for a bar tho.Suitable for a nightcap or so.The price is pretty friendly too.

Great atmosphere but a little bit dark inside. Tea-based cocktail was their house specials. They usually treated everyone with a shot of tea liquor (for free). There was a minimum of NT500 per person. Staffs were friendly but always remind customers that time is up.

The cutest little cocktail bar with amazing Tea cocktails! Smells divine in here, great atmosphere. Highly recommend for a nice evening with a partner or a few friends.

Really enjoyed my time here at the Origin. Being treated with a shot of their tea liquor and when we left they also treated us with a shot of whiskey. The environment is very warm and cozy and staffs were friendly. I also loved their Gin Fizz!

Cocktails are really goodBut the staff is overwhelming, I couldnt spend 5 minutes without being interrupted for multiple reasons (need to change table, last call, asking if we want something, asking if were ok, etc)

The service here is pretty good. There are photos of hunks in the bathroom, which makes my friend very excited. The staff here are extremely friendly, kind and considerate, which is the main reason for their good service. I really have a great time here, and feel truly relaxed. The staff here are like aphrodisiacs; the smiles on their faces, their voice and their warm welcome make me feel really turned-on. Finally, the drink here is fabulous. It’s a place I would like to come again and again and again.

Be aware of this place! They definitely don’t deserve five stars. Me and my friend are so disappointed at their cocktail and service. They also did not tell us that last order is at 1am. So when we get the check we have to pay more (最低消費每人500）for nothing because the kitchen is closed. Just do yourself a favor and don’t go to this place. There’s tons of other bars in Taipei are worth visiting!!!

Wonderful place for getting some drink and relax.I went there with my friends several times, there are always good serviced. The tea cocktails they provide are also delicious.Highly recommended for those who wants to have a wonderful night.:)

A low key bar with a bit hidden entrance. Chill spot if you’re looking for a place to hang on weekends or just wanna grab some drinks after work. Once open the door you feel welcomed. The staff and bartender are very friendly and attentive. Both bar seat and lounge area are cozy and relaxed. The soft electric music is a perfect match with dim lighting ambience. It’s usually full every night and you can feel lively vibe in the small bar. They’re specialized in mixing the cocktails with a great variety of teas. I’ve tried three of them and none of these disappointed me. The best thing is they usually offer a free shot before you leave. Highly recommended.

I love tea based cocktails! Highly recommend the English breakfast. The staff are super nice, they offer free cocktail shots that are super yummy. Also gotta try their meals, also delish!

The bartender and waiter was very accommodating. I asked for something with passion fruit and a hint of egg yolk and they delivered this masterpiece. Great service and ambience! Will come again in the future.

How have i haven’t written a review on this fantastic institution! I’m from Vancouver and Origin is one of my top 3 bars in Taiwan among all the well-known drinking places. Staffs are professional, friendly of course and they are aware of diverse kinds of drink. They make amazing drinks and customize your order towards your taste.The cocktail I had were light, fresh, fruity and unique from other bars.This place is cozy with perfect ambience where you are able to feel relaxed and comfortable. Great for friends and dates. Every time I visit Taipei, I will go to this place with my Taiwanese friends. The owner is super nice and sweet. My friend and I even made friend with him. He treats his customers and staffs as family and best friends with respect and gratitude. I can’t wait until next time visiting again when i’m back!Tips: Remember to book a reservation if you could! The space is limited so it’s best to save a spot prior to your arrival!

Cozy bar with awesome drinks and great food too! We tried the scallop risotto, kongpao chicken linguini, and the baffalo wild wings. All were super tasty! Tons of option for cocktails. Great spot, will be back again.

Dont miss this hidden gem.Update November 2019: After one year I decided to come back to OriginBAR. This time, I brought my girlfriend (with very high expectationswith me. Thank god this place hasnt changed a bit. The tea infused drinks are just something so unique, and so delicious. Would love to have a bar like this back in Europe. Thanks for the shots!

It’s my first time here, which was recommended by my sis. Amazing atmosphere, fabulous cocktails and lovely staff( I especially love the tea cocktails and the juice ones I also played darts with some friends. Will definitely come back next time!

One of the best Original Tea cocktail bar in Taipei, super friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, great cocktail and vibe (also clientele)... can go alone or with group, highly recommended reserve in advance especially for weekends... also.... the food is extremely delicious too, go hungry and thirsty!!!!! The tea base cocktail is the special here. All the drinks we ordered are amazing and nice. We love this place and would like to come again anytime.

GREAT cocktail bar!! The staff were very accommodating and the drinks were great. We waited a bit for our drinks as they were very busy (it was a Friday and a holiday), and they gave us complimentary shots for the long wait. They also gave us free shots on our way out. The higher prices for drinks is well worth it!

I spent wonderful chatting nite with my dear friends :)in general, Nice food and wine, the environment is cozy and warm and everyone seems so enjoyed.The specialty is tea cocktail, I tried two of them, one with breakfast tea is in the menu and the other is off-menu(the bartenders secret recipe XD), the flavor is really balanced between tea and base and the decoration is delicate, so worthy for IG post. I really recommend this. besides, I also tried gin-tonic with oolong tea blended, its so smooth and surprised me cuz im not a gin-tonic guy. Definitely will spend another nite here with my friends.

Best cocktails I’ve tried so far. The atmosphere here is really chill. The staffs are also so friendly. Don’t mention the happy hour at 10 every weekend. It was a lot of fun. Really recommend the single orient beauty.

Very attentive staff members indeed. Have fun asking the bartender to make you a custom drink. They really put a lot of thought into their craft and give you a very detailed explanation while presenting the drink to you. I actually enjoyed it much more than the two others I ordered off the menu.

The place is cozy and warm just like home. Staff provide warm hospitality and the service is excellent. There are multiple creative cocktails here and the decorations on the drinks are beautiful. Bartender is good at cocktails made by tea and can provide drinks based on your flavor. The taste of the cocktails is really good! Great bar for relaxing and drinking.

A great, cozy place to relax, catch up with friends, and socialize on business occasions. Plenty to choose from. Besides the superb bartending skills, the miscellaneous collection of cups served are something to look forward to. Highly recommended!
