Oriental Village never lets us down! Food is fresh, hot, reasonably priced and the delivery driver is very friendly. The food usually comes sooner than they say it will so I never have to call to find out when it will arrive.

We have ordered food from this place before and got decent food....but today our whole order sucked. Every thing tasted like it was overcooked....or cooked yesterday. Delivery driver was okay but the food SUCKED!!

My family and I stumbled upon Oriental Village when our typical go-to Chinese restaurant was closed and let me say, I am very thankful we did! The food was delivered by a very friendly young man and arrived very hot. We were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and the value of the food. Our surprise only grew when we took our first bites and were blown away by the freshness and flavour. The sweet and sour boneless pork was hands down the best Ive ever had, the beef chow fan (rice noodleswere so flavourful, the beef in the beef and broccoli was super tender and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. The chicken balls were not at all greasy as you often find, and the sweet and sour sauce wasnt too sweet, allowing the sourness to come through and accent the dishes. The egg foo yong was so juicy and full of vegetables. Lastly the beef and tomato fried rice was everything it should be.A huge thank you to the entire staff at Oriental Village for providing us with what I could confidently say is the best Chinese food Ive had in Abbotsford. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Highly recommend.We typically order from Bamboo Palace or Jasmine Garden... both were closed for holidays... glad they were. Have always wanted to try Oriental Village. Fantastic food, carefully prepared, large portions. Best Chinese food weve had in a very long time. Friendly delivery driver. Defintely our new go-to. Thank you!

I normally order from Bamboo Palace but they were closed for holidays. So we ordered from the Oriental Village, the food was amazing. It wasnt greasy or over cooked. We will be ordering again from them

The food is good but we were made to wait over 45 minutes over the specified wait time for pick up. I understand that delays happen but I would like to be warned as such so I can make a allowances and order somewhere else.

Order three different vegetarian items. Mushroom chop suey broccoli with garlic sauce and spicy tofu. 2 look the same n tastes the same and 1s got meat. Guess Ill be getting my semi raw broccoli fill for the year.

This is the best Chinese food in Abbotsford. It’s fresh, delicious and the closest thing to homemade I can think of.

(TL;DR 3 stars due to concerns raised and being confronted when bringing those concerns to staff. Avoid the shrimp dishes for a bit.)Normally our go-to place. The last time we ordered, the shrimp dish was over cooked and had a really bad aftertaste. The after taste wasnt spices as we normally love this meal - but something definitely wasnt right.A staff member argued with us that the dish was just "not our taste" and we should try other things. But, we have had this dish before from them and enjoyed it. Something was definitely "off" with the shrimp and the casual dismissal of my concerns was off putting as, you know, bad seafood is a worry.I would definitely recommend their food. However, I would avoid their shrimp/seafood dishes for a while.

Excellent food, all the 4 items were good, and the quantities were substantial. The service was fast and very polite. Loved the experience.

October 10th, 2021, Ordered from OV for my wifes birthday, we are so glad we did. David is very nice to deal with and the food quality is top notch. Everything was well thought out and you can tell they cook with a lot of love and pride. The packaging for take out was perfect nothing leaking and everything cared for so when we arrived home the food was still hot and there were no issues. Peking duck is quality and the accompanying garnishes were fresh and tasty. Nov 7th, 2021 we ordered again and once again top notch consistent quality and service, Our go to place here on out. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Thank you Oriental Village.

Been there with a group of 4 families. Met Daniel and his crew. We were treated professionally and had a nice time..Food was delicious and great.

This was the first time we ordered from Oriental Village on Gladwin. We were very impressed with the food quality. Tasted awesome. Lots of food. Order was ready right on time. Staff very friendly. The only regret I have is that I didn’t give as much of a tip as I wish I had. There is always next time!!

Food was not tasty. I had to add soy sauce to everything to get any flavor. The deep fried dishes were saturated with oil telling me it was either old oil or not cooked hot enough.

I want to retract my review the other day, in case anyone read it. Please note that since Saturday, I have enjoyed the food. I did buy too much because the servings are huge. But the chicken Chow Mein had chicken. Just had to dig through that big serving because the chicken was loaded on the bottom. The ginger beef actually tastes better each day. The flavours are mingling together and its great. The rice was fried and maybe they could just use the usual veggies in fried rice. Over all, good food. I change my review to state I would go back again. Good hot food. Worth trying for sure

Menu decent with VERY hot Mongolian Beef, Good Singapore Noodles, Very very chili Thai Prawns. Good full portions. Pricing decent for quantity of food. Two combos is enough for family of 4 @ 25$-30$.2 people get two items unless you expect a lot of leftovers.

Great food, ample servings, everything we had was flavorful! Take out only during covid restrictions.

To support local business, we tried a few times of home delivery and takeouts from this Cantonese-Chinese restaurant during this upsetting Covid-19 pandemic. Family owned restaurant business like this one got hurt hard but their food quality didn’t drop a bit.

Had take out tonight for my wifes birthday...we had honey garlic pork,chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein...and it had lots of chicken in it..

We did takeout. Food was hot, fresh and very tasteful. Ginger beef with sauce was delicious and flavorful as well as the almond gai ding which had lots of chicken in it. We will be ordering their food again for sure.

The best Chinese meal we have had in years! The portions were so generous we had enough for 2 meals. The bbq pork fried rice was moist and authentic. This will be our go-to now!

Was craving authentic Cantonese Chowmein, but unfortunately this one was short on substance and waaaaay too much noodles. Usually Cantonese has: scallops, white fish chunks, chicken, bbq pork, shrimp, a variation of vegetables often just mini bok choy and Bamboo shoots. Or mixed vegetables.

Food is amazing ... BUT be clear on your order.Placed a delivery order, got 2 wrong dishes andHad to argue on the phone to get right dishes made!!!We also had to go get them as they refused to deliver the correct dishes!Definitely NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

Large portions taste good. My sons friend recommended him that this restaurant was better than those in Richmond. The stand-meal was stir fried rice noodles with beef.I hosted my babys 30 day milestone dinner at Oriental Village and I was very happy with the food and service that we received. The food here is 100% authentic, as long as you order from the back 3-4 pages of the menu, not the Westernized Chinese Food.

Not bad food generally. Got one black bean sauce dish delivered that smelled rotten and I could not eat it. I then got bad service in terms of replacing the inedible dish. Go somewhere else...

Its the only real Chinese food restaurant in Abbotsford. The food is delicious and fresh. The service is friendly and and you feel warm same as back home. I ordered the spicy fish, spicy chicken, salt and pepper tofu, green beans in Szechuan style. All of them are just soooooo good. I will introduce my friends to come again and again and again..I feel very strange why there are some negative comments there, but this restaurant is really a great place for eating Chinese foods.

Trash food, aleady include tip in the bill, we have two dishes and two bowls of rice which takes us 50 dollars, the price is overhigh. Never will be back.

Very disappointed in Oriental Village! Horrible customer service. Order quite a bit of food to feed 7 people. Everyone said it was the worst Chinese food theyve ever had! The sweet and sour pork was very soggy. We ended up throwing most of it out! I ended up getting 2 of the same combinations ehen I only ordered 1 and was charged for it. Got the royal lettuce wrap with enough sauce for 1 person. I asked for forks and extra condiments only to receive no forks, 2 soy sauce packs and 4 plum sauce. My Dad pulled out something very disgusting looking out of the egg roll he was eating. Couldnt tell what it was. I called and told them my concerns and nothing! First time iv left a bad review ever! Very disappointed in 65 dollars worth of food!

Friendly staff , but terrible food. Worst Chinese food I’ve tasted. Couldn’t eat more than two bites. Very soggy greasy food. Too bad. :( wish I knew how to add a picture. Sweet and sour was soggy and not what your used to ( not red sauce )

Sweet and sour pork was soggy. Rice had a weird rancid smell to it. Ginger beef was good though and staff were friendly. Wont be eating here again anytime soon

NOT RECOMENDED!!!This is by far the WORST place to get quality food and service. Take out order was placed at 5:00pm. Was quoted one hour delay. Called back at 6:45. I was told the oder was not placed and was told sorry.. "we are very busy". Although I dont expect a discount, I was ready to place the order again. This time I asked if i could pick it up. I was quoted 45 min. I drove 15 min. To pick up my $68 order and they said once again. The order was not placed.WORST SETIVE EVER. UNRELIABL

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! We moved here 4 months ago and have eaten from here on average twice a week since. It WAS our favorite restaurant, but I do not plan on ever going back. Here is why.We ordered two ginger beef combination lunches along with a lot of other things. I thought everything was as it normally is and was nearly done with lunch until I ate their noodles and bit into something so hot, it literally made me throw it my entire meal. My husband (who loves spicy foodlaughed at me because admittedly I like mild spice and he immediately spits out his first bite. I have been laying in bed sick all day and hubby hasnt been much better.He finally decided to call and let them know though that is something we rarely do and the manager was a complete and total arse!! He said, "what do you want me to do about it" quite rudely. Then manager said he would talk to cook... cook, of course, says he has been cooking it the same all day... *eye roll* and manager proceeds to say, "nothing I can do about it... that is just how we make it". WELL MANAGER, We have ordered this countless times in the past four months and I assure you, it is NOT the way you usually make it!! The two meals were different... One with lots of these horrible ghost peppers and the other with none. Taste was completely off. I hope the owner (if other than yourealizes your horrible rudeness. My husband is bringing it back to you now so you can see the difference yourself. Please keep your food... I dont enjoy throwing up my meals, lying sick in bed all day because of YOUR mistake and then being basically called a liar.

Needed a late dinner Friday. We found Oriental Village in Abbotsford. Great people, fabulous food. Best Chinese food Ive had in years. You must try them.

The owners wife Im assuming, was extremely rude. I placed an order for delivery I ordered 2- 3 item combos and drinks and egg rolls I asked for 3 fortune cookies and shesaid i cant have three cause I ordered only 2 combos. I said Im sharing with my son I replied. She inturupted me numerous times. And at the end of our conversation i asked can I pay for a extra fortune cookie what is is .50 cents. She hung up on me. I was very appalled by how she treated me as a customer. I called back canceled my order. Then She called back 3 times. The 3rd time I answered it and she says I called 3 time why u not answer my call. I was busy with my son i said and she hung up on me again. I will never go there again. Very disappointed and angry how she treated me.

Food is great! Had the deep fried chicken balls with sweet & sour sauce, chicken fried rice, and szechuan style ginger beef. Definitely worth trying!

I get delivery all the time to George Ferguson,they are always Fast Delivery and the combination plates are always Packed with FOOD!My wife and I always have a enough for 2 full meals and all for less than $25.00 for the two of us!!!

This place is now my go-to place for Chinese food. Started off with the great service I got ordering on the phone. Food was in the price range you would expect, and tastes VERY good. Food arrived quick, was hot, and did I say it tasted good?? I would order from them again, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants good Chinese food.
