No-nonsense Chinese restaurant offering a wide selection of familiar dishes, plus takeout.
I had great food when I ate here last
Management was very friendly and helpful. Food was prepared with vegetables of your choice, and the vegetables are fresh and crispy.Plenty of food at a good price. All around a good experience. Will return.
I love going here, the food is awesome. If you don’t call ahead you might wait a little bit. Very friendly place
The Hot and Sour soup and Pork LoMein were both awesome!
Hidden gem in Conway and actually the best Chinese food around. Does anyone remember the lady who used to answer the phone and greet at Fulins? She used to work here too…. Anyway. Nostalgic.
Weve enjoyed eating here and doing take-out here. The food is consistently good.
Mr. Woo is so sweet! And you dont leave hungry! We drive all the way from Russellville to get his delicious food!!
Best Chinese food, the best customer service and the owner is super cool and fun to be around! Love this place! 🙌💯 will be back often 🥳
I don’t even know what to say! I came here for the first time today and had the best experience in a restaurant that I’ve had in a really long time. The owner was the friendliest, most helpful guy and was just awesome. The food was cooked to order, super fresh and delicious. I’ve always loved Jade China, but I will definitely be coming to Oriental Kitchen more often. Everything (including the owner!was absolutely wonderful!!!!! You should definitely try the hot and sour soup here, it’s amazing
Best food in town! Huge portions and so friendly. Good people! We have found our new Asian restaurant!
Generous portions. GOOD food! Wong is always welcoming and super friendly!
I tried this place three days ago, and something has changed. We ordered our usual, (moo shu pork and chicken chow mein), and the ingredients were all there, but the flavor wasnt. We ate what we could and tossed the rest. I think well be moving on down the road when were hungry for Chinese.
Love them great food wonderful service.
Wong was very friendly and treated us like family. The Food was excellent.
Good food, big portions. Can feed about 3-4 people with a complete dinner! And everyone is always extremely nice!
If you like Chinese food this is absolutely wonderful. Wong is the friendly owner and always a very uplifting and happy guy. The food is not only awesome but you get a abundance of it. My friends all tell me that they love it too.
Was very bland the taste was okay I’ve definitely had better
Delicious food with generous portions. Owner is very friendly welcoming. I ordered the Chicken with Broccoli for myself and the Shrimp Fried Rice for the Hubby. Both entrees were great! Food tastes fresh, flavorful and the vegetable we’re cooking but still slightly crunchy. It’s just the way I like it. I give this place two thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾
Great food and great people. We have had the pleasure of knowing both owners, the previous owner and the current owner. Great service too!
I had the chicken w/mixed veggies, sweet and sour pork, chicken lo mein and fried dumplings. Everything was decent but not great. The chicken/ veg sauce needed more seasoning. Good portion size but overall just ok.
The sesame chicken here is amazing! Im definitely adding this place to my menu.
Tony runs a great restaurant! Bella is always smiling and happy! And the egg drop soup is excellent!!The portions are generous (to say the leastand customer service is just outstanding!!!
Dont let the name fool you. Oriental Kitchen has changed ownership. 😐Its the same name, the same phone number, the same location, and essentially the same menu, but it is NOT the same restaurant. The new owners are nice folks, but the food isnt magical; its just ok.I hate that I had to change my review, but the new owners have a long way to go to earn the absolutely glowing review I gave the original Oriental Kitchen. Sorry.
The Beef and Broccoli was delicious. Wife was disappointed in the wonton soup. There were only 2 wontons. We will order more iin the future. Would be nice if they had the Cho-Cho chicken. A real favorite.
Terrible. Sesame chicken was bland, just tasted super sweet like honey chicken. Fried rice was white rice with a little soy sauce, could still see white rice mixed in - no vegetables, just a couple of tiny bits of eggs.
It was great!! I got the sesame chicken and this was after I ate several pieces of chicken! They give tons of food!
I wanted to try something new so I went to this restaurant and I’m so glad I did. I tried the chicken and vegetables with their 5 flavor sauce and it was amazing. Everything is high quality. The vegetables are cooked but still crunchy. The chicken is sliced thin and taste great with the sauce (which isn’t heavy or strong). Everything balanced out nicely. The spring rolls are fantastic (really crunchy, not soggy). The egg drop soup is far better than any other local restaurant. It’s has a great consistency and not oily or chunky (if you eat egg drop soup regularly you know what I mean lol). If you want healthy, try this restaurant. The people who work there are so nice. The price is very reasonable.
5-flavor sauce is incredible. Get the dinner portion and fill up on the extras. Customer service is above and beyond. Very glad I stopped in.
I like this place better under its former ownership. They were more consistent with their food being super good. Its still good but has became hit or miss with this guy. If you are going to buy a place and raise prices you should keep the consistency of food quality and throw in an extra fortune cookie or something. Price jumping 2 dollars a plate and its not guaranteed to be same quality as it was before the price hike. I used to go here every week, now I go maybe once every month or two.
Best Chinese food in Conway, with the crown transferring from China Town along with the inimitable Wang. Great staff, quick service, excellent portions (aka value). Dont be fooled by its out of the way location, this place is a gem. If youre an old China Town hand, be sure to check the menu for recipes that he brought over with him!
Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Conway. They recently got a new owner and the food has changed soo much. Admittedly the sweet and sour chicken is slightly improved, everything else Ive had was better before. I used to love the soup here, but now I dont like any of their soups. Definitely looking for a new place in Conway to get Chinese food
1time to try. Will not go back. Had to wait 45 mins. My Zucchini in my shrimp in lobster sauce was soggy and gross. All my son could taste was the onions.
This is our favorite Chinese food place in town! I like the Garlic Chicken or the Chicken with mixed vegetables. But really we havent had anything on the menu we didnt like. Also when we went to get take-out a few days ago there they threw in free fresh baked cookies. So that was nice! ;)
They are super friendly and give great service and a lot of food for your money but the general Tsos chicken tasted more like honey chicken or some sort of sweet chicken dish. It had no spiciness to it at all. The "fried" rice was like white rice with soy sauce mixed in.
Now under new ownership! Changed my rating from 5 star to one star. A great place for food is now lousy and on top of that the prices went up. Menu is similar, but food tastes nothing like before. We threw out over 50 bucks worth of meals. We had three different meals and all of them were terrible. The shrimp fried rice was terrible with gummy shrimp. Maybe it will get better, but I will not be giving it another chance for sometime.
I did go 3 times since they changed hands and last night (11/20/2020I actually threw ALL of the $30 dinner away. I had been going to Oriental Kitchen for over 15 years, but I will not return. The food is DEFINITELY not the same and is actually inedible. The fried rice is sticky, old and has no flavor. As I said last night was third time since they sold approximately 3 weeks ago and it is the last. I ended up having to get dinner somewhere else because it was so BAD. I gave it 3 tries, but will not waste my money again and suggest you dont either. Horrible!! I am so sad because I LOVED it when Diane owned it.
The restaurant has changed hands! The previous owner of Chinatown (Wongis now the proud owner of Oriental Gardens. The hours are 11am-9pm. The address is 1000B Morningside Dr. (Attached to the gas stationFood is great-all you who have patronized China Town in the past please go see him at his new place!
Recently moved back to Conway after almost a decade. So excited to have the oriental kitchen available again, by far my favorite in Conway for good, quick, fresh chinese food. The Chicken with Black Bean Sauce was just like I would eat when I lived in China, and am happy to taste it again. Authentic flavors all around, cant order wrong with OK, after 35 years in Conway.
Diane has been serving awesome, fresh food in Conway for years. LOVE everything on the menu. Egg rolls are the best. My wife loves the hot and sour soup, and she is VERY picky.
We have known the folks who run Oriental Kitchen for years, since they operated their restaurant in Westgate 20+ years ago. Were always impressed with the quality of the food and the personal service. Its crazy busy here most evenings but she does an amazing job keeping up with the orders and always has a kind word and query about our family (even though we only get takeout here once every few months). Unfortunately its hard to find a readable version of their menu online.
Oriental Kitchen never disappoints. They have a wide menu, so it may be hard for you to decide. Takeout is the way to go, as there dining area is small and currently they only do takeout. The food here is always fresh and never overcooked The portions are huge so you can share or have two meals. The egg rolls are crispy and the dumplings are perfect. Miss Diane is efficient taking your order and will do anything to make your meal perfect.
I adore this place. I come here generally once a month and pick up food for my significant other and myself. The boxes of food you receive are filled to the brim, so theres always leftovers or plenty to share. The cost of the food is low, but the food is good and plentiful.
Great service and small friendly atmosphere 😊. The rice is good and healthy! This is the orange chicken.
Great food! Generous serving sizes. Great value for your money. The owners are some of the hardest working people Ive seen and super friendly. Since they only do dinner service they hustle non-stop from open to close.Be sure to call ahead and then add 5-10 minutes to your pick up time they tell you if you want to walk right out with your food when you arrive. If you try to call in an order and cant get through just keep trying, it is because they are getting slammed with orders via phone.
Great made-to-order Chinese food! It is part of a gas station but has its own separate entrance. It does look a little sketchy but it is good food. There are 2 booths that hold 4 people each in the dining area. So you might want to plan on doing take out.
Great food! We ordered Orange Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Egg Rolls and Egg Drop Soup. All was very hot, freshly made to order and delicious. We will definitely be repeat customers. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was the wait time, but if you order from home and pick it up, that will not be an issue.
Consistently good. The trays are always packed with food. Dont be afraid of the "hot & spicy" menu items, bc they are neither hot nor spicy. Dont get me wrong though, they are delicious. The sesame chicken is a good pick.I wish the menu contained descriptions, bc I dont know what some things are. For example, the picture is of hot & spicy chicken. Would have skipped it due to the celery, or asked them to leave it off.Call well in advance, bc many times they are backed up. Everyone loves this place & is often real busy. This is our go to Chinese food carryout in Conway.
One of my favorite all time Oriental restaurants. Mainly take out, only seating for up to 6-8 people for sit down. Order is made by friendly staff and fast and fresh always. Never have been disappointed yet by selection. Slightly hidden off main road but the keen eye should locate. Menu is available on line. Best Hot and Sour Soup around, hands down.
The reviews dont lie! Large portions, enough for two. Fresh ingredients, so much so the vegetables are crunchy. Awesome flavor and last but not least amazing and very friendly service. The lady that checked me out sincerely wished me a good night! Never will I ever, as long as they are in business and I have a choice, order Chinese food elsewhere. ❤️ Please, make sure you tip!
This is by far one of the most amazing and courteous Chinese restaurants Ive ever been to. The lady is always incredibly nice. The food is always delicious. One order is enough to completely fill two people! Definitely come here.
