Set in a castle surrounded by leafy grounds, this upscale hotel overlooking Øresund strait is 7 km from Rya Golfklubb, and 11 km from art and sculptures at Landskrona Konsthall.Polished rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, plus castle, park, pool or strait views. Upgraded rooms offer sitting areas. Suites add living areas and/or balconies. Room service is available.A breakfast buffet and parking are complimentary. There's also an upmarket restaurant and 2 bars. Other amenities include a gym, a sauna, an outdoor pool and mini-golf, plus conference space.
Great location and view (even during winter, and definitely fantastic over summer). Charming mansion building and hotel complex, linked by an outdoor walkway, that will be renovated over 2022. (So this review will be outdatedService is warm and plenty of good hearty food available. Kids loved the battered pool table, Table Tennis table and the outdoor hot tubs. 4 stars because wifi is too weak and there is no decaf available :)
Very beautiful place and Christmas time!
Our room in the castle is pretty nice and roomy with two separate bathrooms, which is quite uncommon. Food last night was ok. Breakfast this morning was meh. WIFI IS NOT WORKING! Please fix it!
Great food, great sea views. Rooms and conference center also fine.
The hotel is just like another hotel with welcoming staff, neat and clean room. But the scenic beauty you get to see around this place is very serene and calming. The way to reach this place also has nice views going through village and farm lands.Morning breakfast was also great and there were loads of options to eat from. I surely recommend to go here and feel the scenic beauty. Plus they are kids friendly.
We have been here few times and we definitely want to come back again.. The room was clean, simple, comfortable BUT the place has brilliant outdoors spa area with swimming pool, two jacuzzi and sunbathing area. Also, the gorgeous huuuuge park around the hotel with a sea view.. Its breathtaking. Breakfast is huge, tasty and high class in main villa. Brrakis definitely "cherry on top" in this place. Aaand they are pet friendly. Ps. Once you are here, visit fish restaurant just down the hill in the harbor. Its so fancy and tasty!
Great place! The location is excellent and the staff is really helpful and kind.
Not worth the price for Hotell and not for restaurant.Only nice thing: the surroundings.Pool could be better cleaned. Hot tubs with som massage function.Would have been nice with direct access from room balconies to the pool area.Rooms very basic, not renovated for decades, power outlets sparce and reading lights could be better. Cleaning of for instance the fridge totally hopeless, 1,5 package of baby carrots from last guest and dirty inside.Breakfast has most things but not with any inspiration. Basic bread with no taste and texture as paper. But worst is the dinner. Burrata with a hard shell. Ryggbiff overdone, probably reheated, with half a carrot, three asparagus and small hashbrown. Very small portions. The integration of French fine dining from the 80s.Me and my wife asking our self where do we go and eat now?
Very good service. Great food! I asked for a vegan option and I was not disappointed! The main course was a Mushroom "thingy" on root vegetables and potatoes on the side. The dessert was vanilla ice cream made from soy milk, strawberries and merengue made with aquafaba. Delicious experience in a very beautiful setting with a very nice view of the sea.
Awesome very helpful staff, great room could not ask for more. Price was also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Just here for the food. Tasted great (would give five stars only for thatBUT they mixed up some of our allergies even though we asked multiple times.
A nice castle with a lovely view of the island Ven. A great addition would be if they arranged a garden (right now its mostly grass and some large trees)
The hotel is in a great location, with a beautiful park to walk, have picnics etc... they keep a really nice open air gym and minigolf where one can play for free. The pool is wel maintained and quite big, even if it was a bit over crowded. You can also reach a small but really nice beach just walking down the hill, and it is worth to go there. Clean, nice shallow water and beautiful views. People working there are nice, and do their best. The biggest disappointment is the room, very old and dated with a really disappointing bathroom. You also get only two small towels, really not enough. Finally the breakfast is fine, but nothing special. Bread old and disappointing, other food acceptable but on the minimum and coffee not so good. I am writing this review during the corona pandemic of 2020, and while they assign different time to guests to do not overcrowd the place, they still have a buffet where everyone touches everything. They had hand disinfectant everywhere, but I observed that none used it and everyone was on top of each other with no social distancing at all. I know they are not responsible or the bad habits of all the guests (really none caredbut they did not enforce it either.
Excellent facility to stay and to have team activities. The dining area becomes loud when it’s fully occupied. Nice view of the sea from most places.
They aim higher than they reach. Look elsewhere for a quality tasting menu. You should skip this one. The selection of whines with the different courses was also haphazard and bad. Summer workers in the kitchen perhaps?
We like this place the people are friendly and its has a bit of old world culture. Beautiful view of the Oresund Sea.
Food is not good but the place is well maintained! A palace converted to hotel. A good place for weekend visit!
Beautiful venue, very close to the sea. Bucolic surrounding and charming sea front . High level Restaurant of high quality.Rooms comfortable but a bit worn out
The block we stayed in away from the main building. Looked like a prison camp.No phone, no fridge and poor pillow( only one).Narrow and dark corridors.Air conditioning above the bed and no controls in the room to turn it off.Terrible, uncaring service at reception.
Very friendly and helpful staff, breathtaking location, beautiful castle, good breakfast. However most of the accommodation is in an annex built some time in the last 40 years which is not very fresh anymore. Rooms need a renovation, mostly bathroom. There is a nice big pool, two hot tubs (neither was properly cleaned from leafsand separate saunas. Haven’t tried the gym at the time but it was marked with an A4 sheet of paper on the door (guess that speaks for itself). To be fair it was mentioned that parts were currently under renovation. Would recommend but only when on offer.
Wonderful location fine dining in a small but by the sea. Dessert was amazing!
A very cozy place to eat lovely brunch at. Sunday brunch opens at around 12.30 and you get two hours to enjoy a wide buffet. Later you can sit at the terrace or take a walk in the park. The park has a gym, playground and other relaxing areas. If you want, you can take the stairs down to Ålabodarna and have a lovely sea walk.
Honestly, it might actually be the best breakfast in southern Sweden. Add to that the historical castle where restaurant is situated and the surroundings and you have a perfect and wonderful experience.
Amazing surroundings, castle itself is amazing with very nice rooms and amazing views of the sea. Staff is very helpful.
Great brunch selection and amazing dishes! Fantastic atmosphere for any occasion, family brunch, romantic dinner or a garden picnic!
Great Location for a Training CourseI taught an IT training course here. We has the class in one of the huts in the gardens of this fine castle, but ate in the main house. There is a seperaate hotel block. The accommodation was good - although we did not have daily room cleaning service. The food was fantastic. The views from the dining room was stunning, over Oresund. Breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs, was excelent. I loved the other meals too! Would love to return.
Beautiful place. Too bad the staff didnt know how to tend the bar (cause the one man who knew was asleep/off duty). Great gardens.
Great hotel for a get away or for visiting Skåne.
This hotel has excellent surroundings, the castle area and surrounding park are really nice. The hotel section has rooms with a view to outdoor pool.My room was decent byt nothing great, a bit worn and had no air conditioning. Also the bathroom was dimly lit and rather small.Still I would recommend visiting, the pool was great and whole area was peacefull.
This hotel is worth visiting for its really beautiful surrounding. Hotel itself has very nice park with paths to take a walk. It also has mini golf course, nice outdoor swimming pool. Rooms are standard to spacy. For example, like elsewhere in Scandinavia, you will not find a shower tub in the bathroom, just a tiled floor. However, wonderful view from the park over the small harbour is breathing.
Very nice place on the west coast of Skåne. Good knowledge of wine. Rooms slightly older style. But its a lovely castle from 1914.
Spacious and well decorated rooms, and an astonishing coastal view. Facilities are well taken care off, and the food is above average.
Food was super delicious and the staff was very friendly and observant. Will definitely visit again!
Lovely surroundings and a nice main building. Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner took quite long time before it was served and lacking in character.
Xmas market totally overwhelmed, we were lucky to get away with only a 20minute queue leaving. Others waited over an hour to even reach the place, and who knows how long to escape it.Dont go!
Beautiful castle and the food was delicious. To bad I wasnt able to check out the environment, because Ive understood that the environment is also very beautiful
Very nice conference rooms. The food was good. However the beds were tiny! But all in all a very nice and beautiful place
Room was stinking when we came. Overall price does not meet the expectations. Reception staff is not really friendly
Very nice hostorical castle, green area around and good food, all breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was here for a training. I loved the crossfit outdoor gym and spending time at the seaside. The castle is really beautiful. Facilities for trainigs are absolutely ok. We had only a loud company event in parallel, which took until almost midnight.
Very beautiful place. Professional staff. Lovely veyw over the sea. Good restaurant!
Great hotel, had a koningsegg car event in secret. Good breakfast, clean rooms, big pool with hot tubs.
Excellent facilities for conference as well as a dinner and celebration. Good service. Excellent kitchen. Bar is unfortunately limited.
Like others have mentioned, decent hotel for conference with quality food. Nice areas to run in the morning and decent exercise room, however it would be nice if the free weights were a bit heavier. Could not figure out how to adjust temperature in the room, but that was just me... oh yeah, and if you need a hot water maker, youll need to request one from the front desk.
Your typical conference hotel environment. Rooms ok. Restaurant well above average.
Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms, but a bit worn. Nice staff
The rooms were very nice. They are small by American standards but the beds are very comfortable and hotel is very clean. The staff at the bar and restaurant are exceptional. They work very hard to make all their guest feel special. I did not see one person who was not working hard to attend to the guests. The front desk registration agents wereHelpful with the local area informationEveryone was fabulous.
The green area around the castle with its sea view is a great place for a walk. There are outdoor activities, like fitness park, miniature golf and others. The food was great and the personel friendly. I had a very nice stay.
Amazing place for a wedding! Good food, very kind and professional staff and children friendly facility- for being a caste. I rarely rate 5 stars but this place really deserves it.
Awesome place to enjoy vacation as well as organising conference. Loved the Swedish food :)
I was only here one night for an event my friend organized, and it was fantastic. Great scenery, traditional dining halls, and far from the beaten track.
