Oregon Grain Growers Brand Distillery - Distillery in Pendleton, United States
Pretty busy place. Foods good. Would have to try more of the menu to know better about the place. We went for the pizza. It could of been cooked alittle longer. Otherwise good.
Best place to eat! Great food! Lots of drink options! This place has the best Bloody Mary’s in the valley! They have cider and lots of beer options! I have had several things the pizza is great and so is Mac and cheese! Must try if have not yet!
Good place to large salads. They have a smaller beer menu than I lime but they are a distillery so it makes sense.
Awesome food, great drinks and employees that were very friendly and open. Definitely worth the stop.....
So wonderful and tasty! I stopped here with my dad and my dog on a road trip and it was the best meal we’ve had in like literally a thousand miles. I got the Cobb salad and it was one of the top five most impressive salads I’ve ever eaten. They have a great selection of pizzas, burgers, brews, etc and accommodate dietary restrictions, and they are super dog friendly. My boy Jamie got so many pets, a puppacino, and a water bowl and had a great time. Highly recommend!
The food was decent and the atmosphere was pretty comparable for this type of establishment I would definitely recommend shying away from the role of the dice menu items if you dont like doubling up on some items I ordered a burger this evening and it was double tomato with pickled onions and lets just say I was swimming in my burger I dont know if they actually rolled dice back there to choose the toppings or some cook just chooses, but I will choose for myself next time.
Great food, terrific service. Wine list bad. Alcohol list very good as was beer. Atmosphere interesting. You need to experience it and decide for yourself.
very busy after rodeo.Waited for food after being seated before others who received their food first. I am totally understanding of the time of year etc, however remember whom was seated first and take care of them first..
Food is fine. Service and management are as bad as I’ve ever experienced. My wife is from Pendleton and we used to enjoy going there when in town. The last 2 times we went soured us completely. First, we arrived at 7:05 PM and were told that despite closing at 8 PM they stop seating at 7 PM. WHAT?!?!? Second time we tried for lunch and after sitting for 25 minutes waiting for service we were told they were only serving salads and one type of pizza during lunch hours. The place was dead and should be with that type of service.
This was a fun restaurant to hit up while driving through town. We showed up on a weekday around 1om and were seated right away. I had a pizza here which had very good toppings but a rather bland crust. The spirits were very smooth and had no artificial flavor taste. If you like a very natural alcohol you might want to check this place out.
A friend and I tried a pizza with Alfredo and bacon, but it also had spinach on it which overwhelmed the delicate flavors. When the server asked us if we wanted a box, she could tell we didnt enjoy and got the cook. The cook was amazing and made up a terrific pepperoni pizza! The restaurant also comped the first pizza, only charging us for the second! Fantastic customer service!! 5 stars!
Great location, good food, great service!
Awesome find in Pendleton! Great cocktail menu, with which they use their own spirits. Food was delicious and fresh! Not your typical bar food at all!Cant wait to visit again and try another cocktail!
We are from out of town and were excited when we saw a cool distillery that was exactly what we were looking for. When we approached the hostess she was extremely abrasive and mentioned they would not have a table available for 40 minutes. We said that was fine and we were willing wait. We asked to be put on a list but in so many words she told us they do not take reservations and would not be able to accommodate us. We walked away offended, confused, and hungry.
Love their vodka! This is our number one favorite place to eat! We recommend it to everyone. You cant go wrong eating here. Never fails to make me happy. We eat here very regularly & are never disappointed. I send people here daily through my job.
I was getting back from Boise, and was on a road trip heading back to Portland. I was craving authentic oven pizza with fresh crisp ingredients, and came across the forger. White sauce with citrus was refreshing, and artichoke slightly tart, and crust was moist and chewy. It doesn’t weigh you down at the end, and perfect for sharing or midnight snack!
Great service and their pizza and salads are good. Tried their distilled products and went home with two bottles. Will go there again when in Pendleton.
This place is a big old building that isnt pretty but man have the turned this place into something you shouldnt miss in this old farm town! The drink menu has so many fun original drinks using their own liquors. We both had the huckleberry hound and it was awesome. The food menu is equally impressive with original salads, sandwiches, burgers, and wood fired pizza that is gastro pub worthy! We shared the Awesome Burger and it was outstanding; best I have had in a long time.Large covered outdoor area with big tables and water misters make it very nice, even in the heat. Dogs welcome!
Very cool place and kid friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the place itself is really neat. The pizza we had was amazing, great crust. The cocktails were also delicious, and the service was really friendly. Definitely recommend this place. Also, the menu was extensive with a large variety of both food and drinks!
Knocked it outta the park - with 2 exception1.tower of nachos arrived when others in my party were halfway through.2. Crinkle cut fries were AWOL. Natural cut were a let down for one middle schooler.Compliments as I hear this is super good, better than the best hometown restaurant.
Can soda served without glass or ice.Waited for refill on ArnoldPalmers (asked 3 times)The pizza is good but could have used more topping portions.Server was nice, informativeIt was really not busy enough for the low attention. Had to ask for our ticket
I was hesitant after looking around just because it looked like everyone wasnt getting serviced right away. We found out it was our servers first week there, but we didn’t think she needed to be the person bringing out the ice for the bar and help slice garnishes for the bartender when there were plenty of runners and others who were floating around that could have helped. I only say that because a group of women got up and walked out after bringing it to their attention, no one has taken their order. We didn’t know if we should leave or take the gamble and stay. So glad we “rolled the dice” and tried this place while in town for Jackalope. Worth stopping next time we drive through Pendleton.Overall, the drinks were delicious. The food was amazing! If the son of a peach pizza is on the menu ORDER IT because we didn’t regret it. It was phenomenal! Loved the pairing of all the toppings, absolutely yummy!!!
Really fun spot with great people, but the service isnt the best. I work at a hotel just a few blocks away and recommend it to people all the time but let them know at the same time, it will take a while for your food and drink.
Fantastic food folks & atmosphere. The "Roll the Dice 🎲" menu items are rad. I got a spectacular burger that was like a crunch wrap/burger duo.
On the last day of a rainy Memorial Day weekend we needed to get out of town and ventured to Pendleton. At the last minute we decided to come here and were blown away by the experience with great service, music and food contributing to a unique vibe that we haven’t encountered since we lived in NY! We sampled various vodkas, rum & gin and devoured two burgers and fried raviolis - all were fresh and full of flavor! We’re extremely thankful to Camille, Shelby and (especiallyJared for their world-class hospitality and look forward to a return trip for breakfast and many more lunches! Roll the dice, you won’t regret it!!
Really great spot. Pizza was perfect!
Great food and cocktails, fast service, chill atmosphere. It was busy but my husband and I could still converse easily. Highly recommend this place when you stop through Pendleton.
Excellent waitstaff, very helpful with products and menu. We had a 4 taster sampler, bread with olive oil balsamic vinegar and spices and 8 pc Wings. Very good. Burgers and pizza looked delicious also. Definitely worth the stop.
Excellent service and food! Our party had the green chili posole, Roll The Dice salad, spicy version and Ghost of Shakey’s pizza, s strawberry mocktail and Bloody Mary with the horseradish vodka. Very large portions and fresh local ingredients. Definitely will come back!
Had lunch and dinner on a recent trip there. Lots of different spirits to consume or buy. Big selection of food that we enjoyed. Friendly staff and an interesting venue. Would go back for sure!
The best dining experience Ive had in years. A wonderful atmosphere that was casual and fun but not hectic or overwhelming. The food was first class all the way. The staff was fantastic and the drinks were great. The whiskey was so good I took a bottle home. Go!
Love their pizza so much. Great pizza oven makes amazing crust and the topping combinations are indescribably wonderful. I like the fig and goat cheese no sauce. Same can be said for their mixed drinks. Specializing in huckleberry combinationsThe house gin is my new favorite
Service was good, drinks very nice. The appetizers also very good. We ordered the New York, they were cooked perfectly to order...but tough,I question the quality of meat they are getting from Hines Meats. Would still go back, they have a large variety of pizza to choose from and we would like to try a few.
Fantastic my burger was the best burger I have had in a LONG TIME! Tried the nachos just so we could video! They were delicious!
This place was recommended by hotel staff when we arrived- not disappointed! Natalie was our server and was absolutely wonderful, gave us the tour of their spirits and good drink recommendations. The food was on point - pozole and Together Forever pizza- both were delicious. And, as a bonus, she gifted us carrot cake since we were celebrating our anniversary! We walked away satisfied and with two bottles of spirits. Very happy we stopped here.
Sometimes you just gotta Roll the Dice... I am so glad I did. The mid point of a 8 hour drive put me in town and 4 hours of hard driving had put me on edge. I had seen friends had eaten here and decided to give it a try.The greeting and seating staff were prompt, polite, and very friendly. Since I was traveling alone she offered an open seat at the bar and I didnt have to wait at all. The bartender was an excellent daytime bartender who took his time with a weary traveler and answered all the questions. I remember the "Awesome burger" from years ago at another joint in town and figured it was a local thing, it is and oh my cheesus was it ever worth it (see attached pic).I ordered a "roll the dice" cocktail and the bartender asked me a couple of questions. He then presented me with a glass of the most perfect mix. It was sweet and light and tasty and just a hint of the alcohol to remind you it is an adult beverage (and you can only have 1 cause your driving). I absolutely love the concept of this style of menu for food and drinks, the next time I am coming to town and bringing friends and we are gonna spend the evening just letting the staff decide.I got so lucky to see the owner and got a personal tour. Between the history of the place and the science of the business I was so blown away I forgot to take pictures, until Rodney told me that they were changing and adding to the Barrel Aging room so if I take a pic it wont look the same the next time I come (thus the only other pic I got).My only regret is the lack of a shipping option (as of the time of writingfor any of the spirits. Apparently it is in the works for the future. But until then all I will have is my memories and a deep desire to return.
Excellent service by Brianne. She helped me decide my beer & its delicious. Beware the portions are huge as described in several reviews. As a distillery try their samples. Definitely worth stopping by.
Very nice experience. The horseradish vodka is a must have, as is the roll the dice Mac and cheese. Huge serving size, I dare you to finish it. Neither the food or drink disappointed. Bonus if you sit at the bar and watch those amazing cocktails get made, and make sure to try several different kinds. You will not be disappointed.
OGG is worrh a cvsit if you are passing through Pendleton. The food is delicious, the wait staff is attentive and courteous and the prices are resonavle.reasonable. we ordered a "Get figgey with it" which is terrific! So good that we were already into it before I remembered to take a pictuof it. it!
Spirits sampler was nice. Fried raviolis were great! Now, the pizza. I forgot to take a picture, but it was awesome! Grizzly, upgraded to carmalized onions, swapped fresh mushrooms for the olives!
Such a sweet spot! Loved the food and the drinks and the service. Got a large pizza and a round of drinks and also a free tasting board of spirits! Will definitely be back.
Awesome homegrown cocktails (Meachum Mule was Amazing). Great quality food (Tickle My Pickle Pizza was awesome…flavors blended well). Kid and dog friendly
How this went down, after hours driving on the highway:“Are you hungry?”“No not really. You?”“Yeah I want something light. Maybe fish tacos?”<Searches google for fish tacos. Finds distillery.>“Hey let’s try this place.”Reading menu:“Um this place is amazing!”“It is! Do you still want fish tacos?”“Well… I probably should eat that but look at this burger they have on special!”“Omg I was looking at that, too!”Figgy Smalls. Genius. Loved everything. Took two bottles home. And the staff was super gracious at us being the last ones to leave for the night. Go here. You won’t be disappointed.
Compare this to the same meal pictured, theres about 1/3 the meat. The garnish was also lacking compared to the photo. They brought me a little extra meat. It was barely warm and got cold quick. She got steak and fries which they comped because he steak wasnt cooked right and was cold. Pretentious pricing doesnt match the quality, taste or portions we received even if it was brought out hot and it was our anniversary so we were very disappointed after a 40 minute wait. She starved herself all day waiting for this and forced herself to eat half the steak and instantly felt sick after. I basically paid $5 a taco that was very mediocre and got some very generic tasting Verde sauce. Everything tasted salty with no depth of flavor. Some of the plates brought out for others looked good. The setting is perfect and waitress was very nice.Edit: heard their pizza was good so gave them another try. Over charged us and gave us the wrong pizza. We "rolled the dice" and put a note describing what we both liked and didnt. Wanted to try something new without chancing toppings she wouldnt eat at all. Was informed that the note cuts off after about 1 sentence so they only got partial note and basically gave us a pineapple pizza and charged us for the works.Update: They must have read this review because I randomly got a refund for the pizza. I appreciate that and will day their pizza is good. Just order what you like and if you use the online notes make sure its concise.
Super friendly staff and amazing menu, with quality and taste to match. We appreciated and enjoyed the open air dining within the distillery. The only bummer was a lack of their whisky, apparently due to logistical issues created by the Covid 19 and wildfires, so hoping to sample that on our next visit!
Wow - The food is great (and huge serving)...pizza is very good (just wish they offered a smaller size as well), and love the Bowl-o-Burrito. Huckleberry Lemonade martini was yummy, cant wait to try another one.
Fun place to try some tasty and unique spirits! Also, top notch pizza and fun, high quality crafted cocktails.
Awesome service. Waiter was extremely helpful and we had a group of 30 fast service. Food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Definitely coming back again. Coffee vodka is made by them and its great point blank this is the place to go in Pendelton.
Great cocktails. They came in a beaker, very orginal. Loved the vodka, had to buy a bottle. Very reasonable priced. We tried the fried fritter risotto balls. They were great. They come in a single bowl and there are paper baskets on the table to use instead of paper plates. The pizzas also looked good but we did not try them.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Well lit and lots of cool stuff to look at. My wife and I had told them it was first time there and they gave us a short tour to include the distillery area which I thought was really cool. The food was outstanding. We had the Far East Sticky Wings, The Forager pizza, and The Classic Pepperoni pizza. We would definitely recommend dining here and we will be coming back to try all the pizzas on the menu for sure!
