A cozy romantic restaurant with a menu card that has a good variety of options even for vegetarians. Loved the ambience but missed out on this "service with a smile "!

Went in August. Food is good. I recommand to try the house made ice tea.The place is nice, maybe one of the best terrace near the river if you want something not noisy.BUT there was like hundred of little mudges on some of the plates in the salad buffet : that is disgusting.The young waitress is very very nice.I think the restaurant is worth 4.5 / 10.

Great wine tasting experience. So much fun and super tasty with a great array of wines to choose from. Plus wine tasting in the wine cellar is just classic.

Nice place, just beside the river and quiet. The ice tea is good. Portions are a bit small but ok. Middle price regarding the rest of the town.

I came to opus, and i left quickly, i said hello to the black waiter twice but he shouted to me and he talked with me in a bad way.

The restaurant left a bad impression.The impolite behavior of the waiter was accompanied by a partially incorrect order and we immediately refused, the waiter replied "its not my problem" and brought the bill.

We were waiting there for 10 minutes and were completely ignored by the staff, they had better job of cleaning and preparing the tables. After 10 minutes we have called the waiter who told us that will come in a moment. After another minute and seeing that the waiter was just standing around doing nothing, we have just left the place. Terrible customer service, worth avoiding this place

Love this spot on the river. Burger was fabulous and the fries perfect. Grab a bottle of wine from the recommended list.

Sadly not the same as it used to be. Menu is overpriced and the choices have been reduced. Atmosphere could do with some upgrades, it‘s so dark! Food is good but as mentioned way too overpriced. Also the food doesn‘t follow a single theme of cuisine or genre.

Its kind of touristy but the location is perfect which is next to the lake with the beautiful view. The food for lunch may not be swiss, so I recommend you to come here for coffee or just for a break. I the morning, you will see the nice view with less people.

Food was good and the ambiance nice. However the waiter was quite passive aggressive and rude to our table. He would just walk away when we tried to order multiple times, he had no patience.

Nice location, but the restaurant is a little touristy and not very Swiss. Service was good and they got us a nice table. Beef Tartar was not that good for CHF 30, maybe too many ingredients and flavors.

We went to this place for drinks and we have been waiting for over 40 minutes for a drink. After reminding the waiter, we received the drinks and 15 minutes later we received the bill and were told to leave (in a very impolite waybecause they were suddenly closing. Would have been more friendly to apologise for the fact that they forgot about our order and to tell us that they were about to close anyways.

Amazing location but horrible service and menu. We asked for breakfast and the answer was “we don’t have breakfast”. We asked if they have anything to eat and she said croissants. We got excited and asked for options and the options were plain croissant and whole-wheat. I asked for coffee with plant milk, they don’t have it. I asked for orange juice and they don’t have fresh. I asked for tap water and she said “ok but we charge tap water here”. Wow! It just kept getting worse and worse.The croissant were very basic. Too bad for this great location ...

VERY bad service! We were waiting for the menu for a 15 minutes, the waiter (black onejust completely ignored us running around and paying 0 attention. Then his colleague finally brought us the menu but never took a order. Weve been waiting for other 10-15 mins and just left. There are much better and cheaper places just across the river. Dont spend your time and money for such a rude place!

Excelent choice to eat next to lucerne river

Located at the heart of the city , right next to the river.Very friendly staff.Excellent Prosecco, all be it a bit expensive.And then the storm hit loose and everybody had to flee inside.20 mins later, the sun came back out. But the customers remained inside

One of the better burgers i had so far. Picturesque scenery (affecting the prices but thats all right). Would be awesome if you could order a bigger sized burger as well.

Food was DELICIOUS! Pricing was decent for a tourist place just by the water. The best falafel we ever had anywhere else (that includes USA, Canada, Australia and some parts of Europe). Kudos to the Chef! Service was excellent. We dont speak German but the girl who served is spoke in English perfectly and took great care. Recommend to all.

Nice space to enjoy food, wine or coffee right next to the river with amazing views of Lucernes old town, the Chapel Bridge and mount Rigi (outside seating area). An ideal lunch spot for city shopping days or for a relaxed evening meal. Good wine bar.

Really excellent wine selection, great location and friendly staff. Kitchen closes at 10 sharp so arrive early in case the servers are busy.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last weekend. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic! Gluten free options are available. We sat inside, but there is lovely our door seating as well. I highly recommend!

Very beautiful location directly on the Reuss River with view on the lake. Nice outdoor patio. Negligent service, we waited a long time to receive a menu and people who arrived long after us were served before us. Food was OK, but highly overpriced. Waited for the bill again. A bit of a tourist trap.

Crazy expensive menu! Good coffee though. It’s a nice place to sit and watch the tourists. We could also hear the choir from the nearby church. View of the lake is nice!

Poor service, waitress ignored us on arrival, despite us having a baby and needed to feed her straight away. There were ants in the bread self-service area, and to add to the experience we had to pay for tap water per glass!!! Do not recommend, this place was not welcoming.

It was close to 11pm and we were looking for a restaurant to eat. Opus was the only restaurant at that time that would take our ordered. However, we were only allowed to order appetizers as the kitchen was about to close.The staff took a long time to take our order. I ordered the Mediterranean Plate: hummus, falafel and sweet potato fries. The serving size was very small for the price. And the hummus did not taste like hummus...it was a little disappointing. The falafel was burnt and on the salty side. And my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Pot Pie which tasted alright.Overall the service was very slow and the food is overpriced for what is worth. I did not have a good experience and I wont be coming again.

The food is good, but ridiculously overpriced. The brunch for 42.50 is crazy. Our continental breakfast at our hotel was better. Our service started out okay, but our waitress forgot our drinks multiple times and then tried to charge us at the end after we hadnt received some of them. When we told her we never got them, she insisted on bringing them to us at that moment when we just wanted to leave. Overall, there are so many restaurants around I would pick another.

Good place for a good look of the wood bridge. Pricey food ( all over Switzerland I guessgood portion. Taste is good. Service is okay, at par with other European countries. 20180629

We first stopped here for a glass of wine and a nice snack. Right on the river out of Lake Lucerne, it’s just 200 or so Meters from the covered bridge. Great outdoor seating and excellent wine offering (more on that next). For food you can order A la Carte or get a buffet. Price depends on the size of the plate. Lots to choose from.This is not only a restaurant and wine bar but also a package store. You can get a bottle of wine - at a very reasonable price - and take it with you. We consulted with Filipe and he was great. Will be going back.

Definitely not the cheapest tartar, but for the price youll get an excellent tartar, in my opinion the best tartar in lucerne!

So so so so nice and such good food! Our waitress was super nice too. With wine and a meal ended up being 79 for 2 people. Had the chicken pie and it wasnt a cream pie, but a red tomato based type with some paprika or something. Very rich and delicious and plenty of vegetables.

I gave 1 star for the service. Just had dinner there and saw how they treat us and the Indians. They asked for a table of 17 and as the restaurant do not have enough table to sit all 17 of them together(mostly kidsthey were willing to split. However the manager did not seem willing to serve them and told them to go to another restaurant instead. And when they eventually chose to eat there despite the service, we actually saw 3 staff shaking their heads.As for us, I asked the manager for 3 side plates yet he forgot about it. While waiting for another staff to get us the plates our food went cold. We actually wanted to order more but upon seeing how they treat others we decided to leave. Finally when we asked another staff for the bill she said to me in an agitated tone "Just a min please please please". It was actually our first time calling out for bill so we cant really understand her frustration.The food was good however I really really cannot say so for the service. Its very disappointing as we really like the food and place.

Nice choice to eat and have a shopping break. The view is just perfekt ti the famous bridge.Just the Ceasarsalde was cut more then a day ago.Prices are high for the menu.
