Opium Sushi&More in Tirana

Food was OK at best but is not worth it because of their ridiculous prices. The chicken was very dry, the vegetables werent cooked enough,... Would not recommend.

Avoid this place, if you value your time.There are a lot of Sushi restaurants in Tirana with decent service.At the begining the waiter was helpful to accomodate us since we had a newborn with us.Anyway the order was not ready even after 50 minutes, and we only found 2 tables with costumers when arrived.they have served before us to another table which came after and the most insulting thing is that the waiters who were playing on the phone keep justifying that our orders were more difficult to do. In all the word the service is first came first served only Opium goes by first served by the kind of food ordered. After waiting 50 minutes we left the place.

A disappointment, the order came 50 min late from the moment we ordered, the quality of the food not at all good. I am giving 2 stars because the place is very nice and the location is very good.

Sushi is tasty and fresh, but compared to some time ago, the portions are now really tiny! And it doesn’t really make sense to spare the rice or cheap ingredients, just to make people order more…The service however was quite good!

Il menù è vario, le porzioni abbondanti. Ottima qualità. Vado spesso e mai deluso. Lambiente è meraviglioso e la pulizia fantastica. Il personale professionale. I prezzi leggermente alti ma vale la pena.

It’s a great experience. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

Food is not that bad but service terrible waiting for so long get our order nobody say sorry or anything not worthy to eat there is destroying all us evening after long wait we was just left worst sushi restaurant what we was 😡

Terrible!!! I usually don’t write reviews but this was Such a bad experience. We had to wait 1 hour to get our order (which was nothing special, 6 maki rolls). The food was terrible, the soup was water full of salt.I would NOT recommend

This is one of those restaurants that is managed by protocols in which you can only set where the waiter allows you to do so.. Anyhow as of this date tirana is not a place where can eat good sushi.. But i think its acceptable, if it werent overpriced in comparison with other sushi bar/restaurants i have been too in this city

Such a disappointment! It started all great, with the staff helping to accommodate 3 of us, when we had a reservation for 2 and taking the order in a matter of minutes. However, two hours latter and our order had not arrived. We asked one of the waitresses and she said it should arrive in a few minutes. 40 minutes later and still nothing. We asked for the bill and pointed out that we wanted to leave — the waiter said OK, and didn’t even apologize. A minute later another waitress arrived with the plates acting clueless that we had asked for the bill (it was 20 to 11 PM, the current curfew. We left and had to order takeout.

Waiting too long for the order, overpriced for the quality. ordered some makis, they were anything but makis. the waitress did not take the comment and instead started telling me how to pour the soya sauce. horrible experience

The sushi was not bad, but not the best I have tried in Tirana. A bit overpriced for the quality and the quantity offered. The service was ok, not particularly friendly. The restaurant is very near Skanderbeg Square, the main square of the city, sorrounded by nature and has a very modern design. The ambience is calm and relaxing. Its nice place for a fast lunch with friends or colleagues.

The food took about 2-3 hours to come...we only ordered a sushi mix...unacceptable!! We still paid a considerable amount of money just for one round when it’s supposed to be an all you can eat night.

So, let me begin my experience at Opium Sushi Bar.I have been at this sushi bar maybe 2 years ago, amazing experience, really good sushi, perfect fish, excellent service.Today I made a reservation for 2 at 6pm to have dinner with my boyfriend. I did not know that today was “all you can eat” menu, so when the waiter informed us, we said why not, bearing in mind the last time experience.We had spring rolls and soup as a first dish and the soup was really salty, but we understood it as a chefs mistake.After we waited a long time for the all you can eat mix( we got 35 sushi rolls), what was served to us, was not what we expected.The sushi rolls were plain and not “good-looking” at all, just like the ones you can make at home.The soya sauce was too salty, both of them, the green and the red one. Too much salt!!The fish was fresh and really good, but combined with the rice and everything, the sushi wasn’t delicious at all.I really am disappointed, because I was expecting more of the restaurant and the chef.I am writing this review to let the manager, or the owner know, that this “all you can eat menu” should be the same standard as the ones that you serve on regular, not the worst.The service was really good, the waiter was nice and welcoming.P.S: The “all you can eat” menu costs 2200 lek/person.

Abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti per avere tre porzioni ed essere detti che la cucina era in chiusura, praticamente non abbiamo mangiato quasi niente!Menù all you can eat limitato.

Tirana you keep surprising us, another restaurant that delivers on service, food, atmosphere and beautiful wine.Opium is located just off a lovely walking street near Skanderbeg Square, the restaurant is full of ambiance and great design, surrounded by nature in the heart of the city.The food is incredibly fresh, absolutely delicious and great sizing serves. You will not be disappointed, we opted for a range of dishes to sample the menu and each and every dish was mouthwatering.We were very surprised to receive a delicious dessert from the kitchen to end our wonderful dining experience.The team were full of personality and great to chat with, excellent service.We enjoyed a long lazy lunch enjoying Japanese food in Tirane complimented with great value French wine.

The most special Sushi place in town, highly recommended! Had an amazing experience in their veranda.

Pas sushit qe konsumoj rregullisht ne Opium e kam te veshtire te zgjedh vend tjeter per te ngren kete ushqim delikat, produkte te fresketa dhe menu e gjere

Average food quality. High prices. Bad service: we asked for a table at the angle and the waiter said they were booked. We spent over 130 euros for 2 and when we left all the 6 tables at the angles were still free. Never again.

Restaurace je v krásném asijské stylu. Je zde výborné sushi a jiné asijské jídlo.

The restaurant is appropriately situated in the only pedestrian street in Tirana, in the arts district, nestled between the National Theater, National Gallery of Arts and Millennium Cinema. The atmosphere is nice in the two times I visited in the last two weeks the service was fast and attentive.As Asian choices in Tirana are quite limited this restaurant definitely ranks top for now.

Di buono è che ci provano. Siamo però molto indietro rispetto gli standard qualitativi che ci si aspetta. Diciamo che potrebbe andare come cosa...ma manca ancora tanto per arrivare a determinati livelli.

Tempi di attesa lunghissimi, pessima imitazione della cucina giapponese, location curata e pulita.

BE CAREFUL, we went there yesterday and decided to take the 20 piece combo menu, the lady waitress took the order and after she brought us the food it was 16 pieces not 20 that we ordered. At the end, after she brought us the reciept i asked her why she put the orders separated( every article on its ownwhan they should have been one order that said 20 piece combo only, she started to acting like she didnt know anything. If i onew that it was gona cost me 4000 lek i would have taken the 30 piece menu. Be careful whan you go there and specify your order.

Little bit overpriced but loved realization of good sushi.

I know, I’ve only myself to blame but....did you just serve me $0.30 instant noodles in your $10 bowl of “ramen”? Why? ......I think someone’s been smoking too much opium.

Food is overpriced and of bad quality. The rice used for the sushi is not sushi rice, which tastes as bad as it sounds. Prawns were clearly cooked before and simply reheated.
