Opa! Bar & Cafe - Mediterranean restaurant in Panipat, India
Opa! Bar & Cafe in Panipat
Description
Privilege
The staff at entrance was quite rude, after paying a cover charge they charge rs 50 for the charge card. Which is not expected from such a high end place. When paying for the bills service charge 10 percent was levied, I asked the staff to remove the same. They said it is hotel policy and pointed out it was mentioned on the menu, I explained that it is illegal to charge service charge but he did not care. They just said its our rule as if they are above the law. Also they had cockroach crawling on our table, after which they changed our table. In a few minutes after doing so they made us change it again as they wanted some other guest to sit.I really felt unwanted at that place. Even when I told the receptionist that we were unhappy and would write a bad reviews, instead of apologies he just said do what you want. Not seen such money minded , anti customer attitude ever. I will never visit here again. Absolutely horrible.
MoreThis place has different vibe, Beautiful interior. This place has Shrestha and serves alcohol. Opa bar and cafe is in Andheri East Saki Naka, in the hotel thePeninsula.nice place to experience night life, you need to get the band to enter opa for dining or clubbing. Hygiene is taken care very nicely, service was quicks staffs were helpful especially Nisha. Good seating arrangements in dining area you can hear music and also talk. Good vibes and good food. They have Arabian, Lebanese, Middle East and salads popular dishes are mezze platter, Harrisa barbecue cottage cheese, in mocktail we tried berry mist and mango chilli. Quantity is good. This place has rooftop ambience, good bartenders, wonderful ambience and beautiful lighting’s. They offer scanner to look at the menu. Lastly it’s on the seventh floor. Overall experience was quite pleasant will definitely visit again.
MoreId leave zero stars If I could. We booked a table well in advance and we were assured of a guaranteed entry. A few of us were late due to the traffic while the rest of the group was already up there on the table . During our entry all of a sudden the manager realises that we are all stag , which btw, they didnt when we made the booking and paid the amount after confirming that we are 6 stags. The host was rude. They asked us to leave the table mid-way. Upon asking the reason for the same, we were told that we are actually affecting the gender ratio at the bar and hence the owner has decided to Remove stags. Also among the other stags present, only we were asked to leave the table. Dont spend your money here.A beautiful evening of ours was ruined just owner of bar decided to care about gender ration at bar. They only care about money
MoreEasy to find place, crowed is decent, can go with family and friends. Food has limited variety for vegetarians but taste is good. Overall I found this place is decent.
MoreGood ambience, but lighting need a bit better. Average food, not exciting. Small portions. Good helping staff plate breaking and short dancing show is great and enjoyable. Great service. All items overpriced, overall, expensive.
MoreOrdered for their Chicken Shawarma.Price - 355 INRBut its really not worth it, mainly due to the flavor. Whilst the filling was really good, it wasnt really as expected and original as its meant to be. It was very saucy, with some weird flavor.
MoreHad come here on 29th July with a large group. The bouncers are extremely insensitive and uncouth.I would urge everyone to be prepared for lot of bossing around from the bouncers if you are not on a table.Truly goes to show that some people are treated more equal than others.Extremely poor experience for my friends and I.Will NEVER visit again.
MorePoor experience. Not worth of price.Food quality was not so good: I visited this restaurant for authentic Lebanese food. However, I was very disappointed by the quality of food. Chicken was not very well cooked.Service is pathetic: Very poor service by the staff. Their attitude towards customer was unconcerned.Ambience: Really not so good as it looks in photos. The restaurant even does not care to serve drinking water and finger bowl.
More✓ Food was very tasty, and so was the drink (Bourbon Merry)✓ Conveniently located, really close to the airport✓ Interior is spacious and quite pleasing× 2K entry for couples, which covered one starter, one main and one drink× Messy service, from entrance to table waiting, even though there were very few customers× You get music from Opa, and twice as loud music from somewhere else, which really ruins the atmosphere of the place
MoreOne of the best clubbing experience to have in Mumbai. Pre Covid this was the best place to go with the huge capacity it boasted. It still is a good place to go. The timings and other details need to be checked before going. The staff and service is outstanding. This place offers a great food. Must go if you are a party animal or thriving to shake on the floor.

MoreLocated on the 7th floor of Peninsula Grand, its quite spacious and I loved the interiors of this place. They provide timely service and the staff is on their toes. However when we reached for lunch, they informed us that the AC wasnt working on one side and made us sit in the lounge area.We couldnt wait to order some chilled drinks by then. So we called for a strawberry ice slushy and king alphonso. The latter was a little too sweet for my liking though.Ive never tried a pide (homemade Turkish flatbreadbefore so I decided to call for a roasted vegetables pide. It is very much like pizza and I loved the toppings on top, apart from the big pieces of onions.Cold mezze platter was delicious and I loved how colourful it looked as well, quite well presented.Pink penne pasta was our main course meal, the bread served along with it was soft and nice and the pasta was served hot and I quite liked it.The quantity of all the dishes are good enough.Loved how the veg burger looked, its huge and I couldnt finish it. I dont like wasting food, neither could I stuff myself. Hence, I wish they had packing services available as well. Also wish they had more eggless options on the dessert menu. This is a good place to visit with your friends, family or on a date too.Happy hogging 😊P.S. MoreOpa! Bar & Café, situated in Peninsula Grand Hotel, Sakinaka, deals with Middle Eastern themes and cuisine. A host of décor elements infused with the lush nature looks straight out of the fantasy book, Arabian Nights. This place boasts of palm trees standing upright in the middle surrounded by oval-shaped wall featuring artificial plants. The lavish décor also showcases a bundle of decoration cloth adorning the place. Additionally, vivid sofas and chairs to rejoice meals are an addition to the needed comfort. On our recent visit, we ordered Melon Town Madness, a tongue-tickling cocktail with the sweetness of melon and coconut, accompanied with orange slice on the top. Ice Slushies mocktail, literally features a heap of crushed ice, and has a strong strawberry flavour. However, the latter is not suitable for those who like less-sugared drinks. Both the drinks were satisfactory in taste.Moving on to the starters, Cold Mezze Platter was the perfect beginning. The authentic delicacy is served with an array of hummuses, baba ghanoush, labneh, muhammara, alongside pita bread, greens, and pickles. As scrumptious it tastes, the Lebanese dish was presented well, with edible flowers and seeds on the top.Meanwhile, another starter, Zaatar Chicken features juicy marinated chicken pieces perfectly lined with side salad including onions, along with white dip. In main course, we chose Vegetable Arabia Kabsa Rice. Besides its spicy and tongue-tickling taste, the quantity is sufficient for two people. It consists of Arabic Kabsa rice, topped with exotic vegetables, yogurt, and pickes for a flavourful meal.To put an end to an incredible experience, Traditional Baklava can give one food-gasm. Wrapped in sugared pastry sheets, this dessert is loaded with crunchy pistachios, almonds, and cashew nuts. To add to it, five pieces of Baklava comes with a scoop of creamy rose ice cream.Overall, Opa! Bar & Café is a must visit for its Arabian vibes, Instagram-worthy delicacies, interior, and drinks. While the service speed has scope for improvement, the place is welcoming.

Its perfect for a date, a place to enjoy Hookah, or clubbing with friends! The service was on point, impeccable. With melting 3 cheese, this softly kneaded manakish is something you shouldnt miss!Cheesy Fries: Perfect quantity, fried to perfection, served with cheese sauce. The qty is pretty good, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to yall.Baklava: Served with ice cream, has been winning hearts since forever! Go for it!!Opa has a vibe that is very unique in its own place. With antiques all around, this clubbing place is indeed the best one in town!

This is exactly opposite to Sakinaka metro station in Andheri East. Ambience is astounding with Arabian effect. It is famous for Mediterranean vibes, delicacies and hukkah. The moment you enter Opa!, youll be mesmerised by the expanse of the place as it has a quite huge seating capacity in different effects and you can choose based on whatever mood you want to create for your folks. The theme here is rustic with vintage jugs at the the bar section, a bold red sofa with a beautiful chandelier, eye-candy golden lights on the doors and aesthetic lanterns making it an ideal place for all the Sheesha lovers out there. The staff here is extremely courteous and guides you very well throughout your experience.Happy Fooding!• Service:5/5• Ambience: 5/5• Flavor: 5/5• Value for Money: 5/5

It was well prepared and every thing was properly done in it.last i tried fudge chocolate expresso , it consist egg in eat.overall a mind blowing experience .
MoreOpa! Bar & Cafe surely doesnt needs any introduction.Absolutely classy ambiance with tastefully done colourful interiors which instantly grabs your attention. The entire vibe & theme of this restaurant is influenced by arab-mediterranean culture which even reflects in their food.We sampled some of their bestsellers which were as follows:°Hot mezze platter - This was the most delectable platters i had lately. It combined of 3 variants of chicken kebabs shish taouk, zaatar, adana along with falafel, tahini, hummus, pita bread , french fries & some salad. Pita was super soft & fluffy, loved the tahini & kebab was delicious.• Arak Prawns - My first ever experience of pan tossed prawns deglazed with arak. It was fantastic. Perfectly balanced flavours. That strong after taste of arak was brilliant.°Turkush delight & Bourbon Mary - If you like your cocktail to be ultra smooth yet strong then do give it a try!•Paprika Jumbo Prawns - We opted to order this for main course and got it customised with saffron rice instead of couscous.Mildly spiced grilled prawns served on a bed of saffron rice topped with coriander gremolata which was kind of sweet and sour coriander dressing sprinkled with black & white sesame seeds.Special mention for saffron rice, this was by far the most delicate & richest saffron rice i had!°Bakhlava - Though we were stuffed like hell after having all that scrumptious meal but who can say no to a well made bakhlava.I have to admit this bakhlavas were generously filled with roasted almonds & pistachios and perfectly sweet. The best part was that rose petals ice cream which complemented the bakhlava beautifully. We overall had a beautiful experience & our mid week lunch was nothing less then fabulous.
MoreHello everyone, I recently visited opa bar and cafe in Sakinaka, which is a fantastic restaurant. It offers a fantastic dining experience, and the atmosphere inside is quite cool and pleasant. It is divided into two sections, one is for dining and the other is a lounge area. The service and the staff were both outstanding. When it came to the food, each item looked incredibly fresh and appeared to be both delicious and healthful. Each and every dish had a lovely scent. Their price range is likewise very reasonable. Its a must-see location, especially on weekends, when you can enjoy some fantastic music.I would like to rate by giving it 5/5✅

MoreVisiting this place after many recommendations from my friends was a must. Located right near the Saki Naka metro station inside the Grand Peninsula Hotel, this place is a hotspot for nightlife enthusiasts in Mumbai.Ambience: Being located on the top floor, the dome like ceiling with clear glass panes gives it a majestic appearance. The restaurant offers two large seating areas and an appealing ambience that evokes an Mediterranean atmosphere - vintage style seating, palm trees with drapes flowing from their branches and good music to set the mood.Lets have a look at the food we ordered.Beverages:1.Red Bull LIIT: We started our evening with this classic LIIT. A concoction of 5 base spirits namely Vodka, Gin, White Rum, Triple Se & Tequila topped with Red Bull for the extra kick.2.Blood on the Roof Top: Another LIIT with the same 5 base spirits but with an add-on of peach flavor and a dash of red wine for that strong bitter note.Appetizers:1.Harissa and BBQ Chicken Wings: These Chicken Wings were a great way to start our meal. Tender cooked chicken wings were tossed in a sweet sticky BBQ sauce with a hint of spice from the harissa.2.Iranian Joojeh Kebab: Richly marinated chicken chunks spiced with saffron and seasoned with other spices are roasted to perfection to give you that tasty, mouthwatering experience.Mains:1.Chicken Kabsa Rice: Slow cooked Chicken meat served on a bed of fragrant Saffron Rice with side of Daqoos (i.e Traditional tomato garlic sauce), Labneh (i.e a soft Middle Eastern cheese made from strained yogurt ), some salad, lime & pickle. Chicken was tender, flavorful and went very well with rice. I highly recommend it.2.Hot Mezze Platter: This was like the show stopper. This platter was loaded with 3 different types of kebabs namely Shish Taouk (i.e. a traditional Middle Eastern marinated chicken dish), Zaatar Chicken (i.e. Chicken dish marinated with Zaatar the condiment king of Middle Eastern cuisineand Adana Kebab (i.e. a long, hand-minced lamb meat kebab mounted on a wide iron skewer and grilled on an open Lebanese griller filled with burning charcoal). Along with the Kebabs you a pool of hummus driled with olive oil, Pita Bread, Falafel, Fries, Salad, Pickled Veggies and Thoom (i.e. Traditional Arabic Garlic Sauce). Theres enough meat and veggies here to last your dinner party for a long time.Dessert:1.Baklava: A Mediterranean meal would not be complete without this dish. It is a traditional layered pastry dessert made of filo pastry, filled with chopped nuts, and sweetened with syrup. It was served with a scoop of rose ice-cream which went really well with it. Just the perfect way to end our meal. The food was really good and this place proved to be a meat lovers paradise. The staff was extremely courteous and helped us with the choices. Overall, this is our take on @OPA:•Service:5/5•Ambience: 5/5•Flavor: 5/5•Value for Money: 5/5The ambience was all pumped up by the time we finished our dinner, making it seem like the night had only just begun. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Whether you are visiting for a party or not, youll have an amazing time.P.S. Along with liquor, the restaurant also serves HOOKAH, so you and your buddies can enjoy a lazy afternoon or a fun night together.Happy Fooding !! 🙂

MoreWhen it comes to choose best place for insane music & drinks undoubtedly Opa Bar & Cafe is the best in the business for electrufying music & delicious Mediterranian,Lebanese& continental spread. Our captain for the night Mr.Dilip was so good , he helped us choose the best of Lebanese food & crazy cocktails🍸.This place gives warm & cozy feeling. The interior is literally LIT. The light lamps , the table settings and cool breeze transports you to the best Arabic town.In the cocktail we started with LS of the beach; The concotion of vodka, rum, tequila ,cranberry & orange juice is so amazing. This literally takes you on to the beach.Apricot Old Fashioned; I am not big fan of Apricot but just tried to sip this cocktail. Trust me it didnt disappointed me.Cottage Cheese Agli Olio ; It was so yummy Cottage cheese tossed in chilli garlic sauce was medium spicy . A must try for all the veggies.Vegetable Arabic kapsa Rice; This dish was so delicious and let me tell you guys, the chef has created amazing dish. Basically its saffron rice served with veggies tossed in Arabic spices and served with labneh, daqqos & pickle. In desserts we went with the traditional baklava ; Guys it was so yummy. MoreOpa is one of the most renowned clubs near Andheri and used to be a celebrity club. Recently the club has reopened and had made some amazing upgrades to their ambience.Located on 6th Floor of Peninsula Grand super convenient from anyone coming from metro. Its just 2 mins walk from Saki Naka metro station.Coming to the decor this place is insanely happening when it comes to ambiance. They have one open space and other one with high roof. The lights here are just perfect for any party to enjoy. They have a shamiana arrangement which is actually perfect for sheesha. The bar is at the centre which looks very attractive from any part of this area.We were served by Chetan who was really quick with service. But the time taken for few dishes to arrive was pretty high as compared to other lounges considering the place hardly had any customer during that point. Apart from a few delays the experience was quite enriching.Obviously coming to club like Opa we did not have much expectations with food but were expecting some crazy cocktails. This is what disappointed us they didnt have a single signature cocktail as all of them were classic cocktails. We initially ordered Bellini a cocktail with perfect blend of sparkling wine and vodka. I tried this mixture for the first time as was very sceptical about the taste. But it was actually a perfect punch and I enjoyed the entire drink. On the other hand we ordered Long Sex On The Beach which was supposed to be a strong LIIT. The drink was complete disappointment with hardly any alcohol to feel. My friend ordered A Virgin Mary which is a classic mocktail. But again the experience wasnt good with this drink either. One appetizer we loved the most was Panko Crusted Prawns( Must try). Though the crunch of the crust was not that good but the prawns in there tasted perfect due to perfect marination and preparation. Shish Touk(Must trywas another chicken appetizer we tried. Again a great experience with the charcoal preparation of chicken tandoor pieces. This was topped with mayo which made it more drooling.Coming to main course we tried 3 Beans Spaghetti and enjoyed it. The best part was pasta was cooked with perfect spices and had deep fried beans which was fun to eat along with the pasta. It is a perfect main course when you are there to enjoy your drinks. Apricot Old Fashioned (Must trywas the only cocktail which actually felt premium. The taste was very authentic and had a perfect proportion of bourbon whiskey. So we completed our meal with two drooling desserts Chocolate Espresso Fudge and Tiramisu. Espresso fudge had taste of both caffeine and alcohol. So it was on bitter side and served with whipped cream to compensate the bitterness. Tiramisu tasted well but again was not a classic tiramisu with coco powder around and infused caffeine. Even this had a bit of liquor.Overall it was a great experience but I would like to suggest a few points:Do add some mocktails to your menu.Addition of some signature cocktails as the bar is actually beautiful and people would love to try your creations.
