A cool place to hang out

Great place for your relaxation and pleasure.

Pretty over priced for what it is. Food took 2 hours even tho we were the only ones in the place. We asked for non spicy food and it was impossible for them to understand what that meant. In the end we left without enjoying what we were served

The place was highly recommended by some African Americans so I decided to give it a go. Place looks good but I think its time for some maintenance however and the reason for my 2 stars; my kids and husband wanted okra stew the server which was really nice BTW and the reason why is not 1 star told us that they didnt have any since thats what they wanted we were ready to walked away however on our way out we met these wonderful ladies and we started talking and after some time the server comes and tell us that they have found okra and they will do the stew. (we shouldve have walked awaybut we didnt. Foods comes in we had spent all day at the beach and were starving so I cant even tell you if the food was good in flavor or not however my chicken was raw inside couldnt finish it and my kids and husband spend all night throwing up the okra stew. I dont think I will be visiting again.

I can vouch for them having one of the best Western breakfasts Ive had in Ghana. The French Toast and home fries are the best.

Food for your body mind and soul. There is no experience that combines knowledge, atmosphere and sustenance like Nana Shabazz! Let him feed you by the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. You will not regret it.

Very interesting and peaceful place

Stopped at One Africa on our way to Elmina for some lunch, and we were happy we did. It is tucked away off the main road and we may not have decided to go there if it didnt appear on Google Maps. Its very beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It seems to always have a cool breeze blowing.While it also offers lodging we didnt not stay there so I cant speak to that. As usual in Ghana it took a long while for our food to come and the options were limited despite having many on the menu, but I still wanted to give a higher rating simply because we enjoyed the ambience so much and everyone we talked to was very nice and friendly. It made waiting so long not feel so bad.

My veg burger and fries at One Africa in Elmina Ghana was delicious.

I give the resort itself 5 stars. I held back a star because of the food. The menu is limited and plain. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The beach is peaceful and clean. The water is very tranquil. I loved evy about One Africa except the food.

AMAZING!!!!!! I just spent 17 days at One Africa Health Resort and Im ready to go back!!!! The food, the staff the scenery....OMG! I celebrated my 50th bday there and it was fabulous

I loved staying in this sacred space. It was inviting, beautiful and enchanting.

Made a good friend from the bartender, Joe, and had wonderful meals (the omelet and later tilapiawhile sitting beachside. Easy beach access to Mabels Table and other eateries/pubs along the beach, this environment is amazing and a bungalow rental is well worth it!

The scenery wasnt bad and food was very nice. They had a right spot between the Elmina Castle and the Cape Coast Castle

I love the energy of this place. It speaks serenity and calm with the ocean waves crashing against the rocks and Elmina Castle Dungeons in clear view. Theres even a massage therapist. Dont miss their "Kick Azz" breakfast with french toast, ginger lemon syrup, stone ground grits and chicken or vegan sausage!

Best place to feel relax

Went there for lunch and it was really good. Both local and foreign foods were on point (they go easy with the pepper for local foodsand prices range between 20-60ghs per plate. You need to wait some time for your food, like one hour, because they prepare it when you order but they did respect the time they told us (rare in Ghanaand its nice to stroll around in the compound and the beach while you wait.

Located right on the Atlantic Ocean, One Africa gives you a great view on the culture the people and the great food.

The breakfast at One Africa is worth it by itself!! Im not a huge breakfast person but I had breakfast there every morning we stayed. Queen Mother Imakus was a great host with nothing but the best hospitality. I loved sleeping in my hut that was right next to the ocean. All thumbs up...plus shes from my hometown NYC!!

One Africa is a must on any trip to Ghana, especially if you are in El Mina. The accommodations are beautiful, grounds are well maintained, you see and hear the sounds of the ocean & the food is amazing! The proprietor, Momma Imakus is a gem!

We came without reservations and they happened to be full but made accommodations for us at a neighboring hotel and they allowed us to partake in all activities at One Africa. Beautiful beach, amazing food and great peopleYou must stay or at least visit if you are near cape coast, Ghana

One Africa is an ocean front gust house very beautiful and nice African style chalet beautiful compound with nice African caving chairs and trust me, that place is one of the most beautiful ocean front gust house in Ghana

I truly enjoyed this Pan Afrikan Centered resort! It was a lovely ancestral spiritual experience for me. I happen to stay in the lodge dedicated for Dr. John Henrik Clarke, facing the ocean! It was therapeutic.

I’m so glad that I got to meet Mama Imahküs! She is such a marvelous woman and goes out of her way to make sure that each and everyone of her guests are comfortable.
