One of the best Pad Thai Ive ever had. The food her is really good. Tasty, well balanced and plenty of options. Staff are super friendly, helpful and service is spot on. Kids have plenty of options. We came twice in one day, and would happily go back more if we were in town for longer. The ravioli was the only dish we felt could be better but if we ever make it back Once Once will be our first stop.

I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I dream of eating at Once Once every time I come to Antigua, great ambiance, fabulous flavor and perfect seasoning. This would be a fabulous restaurant anywhere in the world.

This might have been some of the best sushi I’ve ever ate and it doesn’t even have fish in it!

This place is hands down the best vegan restaurant in Antigua. And believe me there are plenty of great options for vegan food here. Even so, Once Once stands out as everything of your dining experience is top notch. From the friendly welcome at the door where you are accompanied to your seat, until you exit the door, everything was executed perfectly! Not to mention the food was incredible, and the venue itself is so beautiful. Perfect for a couples romantic night out, Or just a quick bite. We loved this place so much. I wish we had a restaurant like this at home..

We had a great vegan dinner here. Everything tasted unique and so good. Also very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Been twice to this restaurant and that barely happens when I travel. We were friendly welcomed with an infused basil water. The food here was delicious and the wines as well. Make sure you arrive on time as they closed around 4pm. The little fountain made it feel very peaceful. The interior is beautiful and WIFI fast! Hah, enjoy ✌🏼

It is very beautiful restaurant. Service was A+. It is very difficult to access for the handicapped. I dont velieve I would go again for that reason. Also, the background music had boom, boom, boom, boom, and as a solo diner, it was annoying. Maybe a group of diners conversing wouldnt be aware of the boom, but sitting solo, it was not good. I ordered the tapas plate and a glass of merlot wine. The wine was good. Everything on tapas plate, except samosas, tasted of the same.seasoning. i would like to try the Mexican dishes, but access is too difficult. Maybe management could build a ramp for disabled.

Such a lovely restaurant with delicious, artfully presented food. The chef takes great care in the presentation of every dish. Fresh flowers garnishing the drinks as well. Located in a beautiful colonial era house. Pretty furnishings, candle-lit entry, welcoming staff. Met the owner and her dogs while dining there (wichoandcharlie is her other business, and it’s adjacent to the restaurant), and I was impressed with her vision and passion for her work. Wonderful experience!

Was very excited to try out this restaurant, as the pictures online and menu looks amazing ... The place is very nice and the menu looks great as well, however the dishes can be improved in terms of flavour and depth of research. A bit pricer than most Vegan restaurants in Antigua, however you do get a beautiful restaurants, good service and an overall great experience as well. Would recommend for a nice lunch or dinner date.

Glad I gave the place another chance.1st review: I was so excited to try this restaurant after reading all the reviews. Decor is super cute, music’s good, foods okay - good but not mind-blowing, not worth the price IMOAppetizer: spring rolls - good peanut sauce but tiny amount, extra fee for more sauce. Tofu didnt taste like much. Q57Main courses: Pad thai - big amount of noodles but sparse toppings and little flavor. Again, not enough sauce but must pay extra for more. I wouldve liked a smaller portion with more/better toppings, such as crushed cashews or avocado for example. For Q80 I was expecting something more exciting.Country burger - a bit dry, tasty faux-meat vegan patty, bun and fries were really average. Nothing crazy. Q84Overall, although the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and a varied menu, I think there are better vegan options in Antigua for a lower price tag.

We had a great lunch here. The amuse bouche soup they gave us was excellent. We loved the tacos and the sushi as well. The Bolognese gnocchi was a bit bland. The prices are higher than most restos in antigua but the portions are very large and the food quality is excellent. Service could be improved somewhat from our experience as our dishes came out quite late, we were never checked on through our meal, and our waters were never refilled.

Boutique vegan restaurant. Nice atmosphere, beautiful decor. Great selection of food. Taste delicious. One recommendation: Change the cheap silverware!!!!!!!

Thank you very much.Again we ordered the same Pastas as before to compare the difference. They were way better than at our first visit (which might have been a mishap with the pasta cooking time as we suspected).The Tofu was cross outside and soft inside, really good.We had the Dumplings as a starter and they were so good! They came with a salad that was even better, delizioso! I’ve been to Once Once more times than I can count and always love it! The cauliflower wings and primavera spring rolls are always insanely good, and all of their drinks and smoothies are great and very fair prices. The also offer ceremonial cacao, made with real cacao, one of the only places in antigua to do so. The setting is beautiful, and the restaurant is Guatemalan owned and operated. To get in you walk past Wicho and Charlie’s (their tour agencythrough to the back terrace.

Once:Once remodelled the place!!! Completely New aesthetics ✨🥹🤩 and the food is delicious as always. They also added some new cocktails ✨botanical mixology✨

A tasty, refreshing, and healthy meal in a tranquil garden. It’s not the cheapest, but you’re getting good quality food. We went for the spring rolls and the pad Thai along with a green juice to drink. Definitely worth it to change it up!

Brunch here was great. There was someone performing music. It was on an outside patio with a fountain in the center. This place really created a moment that I will not soon forget. Also, the food is fantastic. The burrito and the smoothie bowl were delicious.

This place has delicious, healthy and fresh creations that I havent seen anywhere around the world so far. It amazed me with its creativity and mix of flavours. A really refreshing experience as the staff and customers all spread a warm welcoming vibe. I love to eat meat but at this place I gave it a try to have a meal that I dont usually prepare for myself or order at a restaurant. I ended up coming here several times because the food is so tasty and it didnt make me feel like Im missing out on anything at all. So I guess its a place for anyone no matter their usual nutrition habit. The teas they offer are great and each of them can be ordered both cold or warm and you get free water refill for them!

They are pet friendly and people always come with their furry friends 🐾 The atmosphere is idyllic, specially when they have live music which is pretty often! (@onceonceantigua)Anything in the menu is delicious but I recommend the brunch menu (specifically pancakes and breakfast wrapthe burger menu with French fries topped with vegan cheese, and the tacos. The homemade beverages or a cup of fresh herbal tea is a must have along your meal. Overall, I genuinely recommend this place. You will fall in love 🥑

As a Texan who loves beef, I have to say this vegan surprised me with all the amazing favours I could ever ask for. Im amazed, everything is plant-based, which I would never guess. I tried the country burger, cauliflower wings and the mac & cheese.. I reaaaaaally like everything. And the vegetable soup they serve you as an appetizer: hit the nail perfectly on the head. I ended up going two more times to the place.

Since I walked in the restaurant my experience went far and beyond expected. You will be greeted by the most loving and fluffy dogs, one of the staff members welcomed my wife and me to take a seat in the patio area, cozy, romantic and the music created a unique atmosphere for a date night.Food was delicious, I enjoyed every single bite. Nothing to complain about. The place was full and even still the food didn’t take long to get to our table.A must visit even if you are not vegan, you won’t regret it! A big round of applause 👏🏼

Its not easy to find a vegan restaurant in Central america and especially such a good one. MUY MUY RICO ! I had the burger with cheesy fries - so good. I will come back and try more of their delicious menu 🤤

Staff were rude and inattentive--were too busy on their phones or chatting. Food is below average and very overpriced. I asked for no onions and to confirm whether the meal was gluten-free due to dietary restrictions. The staff were unaware of what gluten was (yet were still making gluten-free recommendationsand brought me my meal with onions inside. I was then told that when I said no onions they werent sure if I meant on the inside or outside, which is ridiculous. When I then tried to re-confirm whether it was gluten-free she tried to argue with me and tell me that she told me it wasnt because it had soy chunks in it. Not allergen aware at all and poor attitude from staff.Edit: I never said it was a gluten-free restaurant. I asked which options were gluten-free. I am fully aware there is contamination risk but that is different from food containing gluten. People have different levels of allergies and intolerances. Your staff should not be making gluten-free recommendations if they dont know what gluten is or what is gluten-free especially since in the first instance she told me the meal option was gluten-free! What an unprofessional response from this restaurant. Soy is not gluten unless it has gluten added to it. Any restaurant should be aware of allergens/sensitivities in their menu.

Incredible place. Was in the Antigua area for a month and this was by far the best vegan restaurant I have been to! A bit more expensive than other places, but well worth the extra money in my opinion. This is a must visit restaurant if you are in Antigua. Try the smoothies, pasta, and the winner for us was the pulled pork sandwich!

One of my best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The setting in the courtyard garden, lit with candles by night is incredibly beautiful … the food was fresh and delicious. The portions are big, I decided to go for two starters and it was more than sufficient. I was given a vegetable broth on the house as well as some batatas bravas with the wine I ordered. Sweet gestures!The girls working there are very sweet and attentive … I felt very comfortable dining there solo & can’t wait to be back 🤍

We love this place, I had the ravioli and my bf had the tacos. The meal is served with a veggie broth that was to die for. The actual restaurant was super cute.

The location of restaurant is definitely beautiful. Food is a bit of an art style and you need to search tofu in the spring rolls. Besides that peanut sauce was amazing.

Another gem in Antigua. The space is super cute with a central garden area and wandering dog. Staff is friendly and helpful. I came in for lunch but kind of wished I could have gotten some of the breakfast items.Ordered the spring rolls, mushroom app and mint & cucumber lemonade. The mushroom dish wasnt my favorite but the rest was really nice, especially the hot cup of vegetable soup they brought out first (for free). Yum!

The high expectations we had, based on the reviews and the fabulous looking menu card, were not met. 3 of the 4 main dishes we ordered were disappointing. The fettuccine was unexpectedly spicy, the sushi roll were bland, consisted mainly of rice and were drowned in mayonaise, the tacos al pastor we received seemed to contain only shredded vegetables, a tasty protein source seemed to be forgotten.The cauliflower tacos we ordered were tasty and satisfying.Over all we were disappointed this relative expensive restaurant did not live up to the expectations.

In love with this beautiful, stylish courtyard restaurant with super friendly staff. In the couple of days we were in Antigua we came here three times to indulge in all the delicious food and drinks they offer. Every time a different meal from the wide variety on the menu and every time a big hit. I don’t know how they do it but they do. The best vegan chocolate cake I ever had, the best chocolate smoothie I ever had, the best vegan gnocchi I ever had and the list goes on. 😅 Wish I could work in this kitchen for a couple of days and find out their secrets.

Everything was delicious- we had a lovely dinner and came back the next day for brunch. Great staff and atmosphere and some of the best vegan food we’ve had across three continents. Reasonably priced, too. Can’t recommend this place enough- would give it six stars if I could!

Wow! We got so many plates and everything was delicious! I wish I was in Antigua longer so I could have eaten here again. The wontons, spring rolls, and pad thai were my favs but our group also enjoyed the burger, tacos, and enchiladas. The vegetable soup complimentary appetizer they bring out was also delicious as well as their sangria and we have creme brûlée for dessert. The brûlée was so yummy but more of a pudding in my opinion. They have the sweetest golden retriever there also 🥰

Super delicious and holistic food! We also got a vegetable soup for free and for each beer or glass of wine you get a tapa. Also the waitresses were super friendly. And the location is really beautiful, we felt very comfortable. Highly recommend this great vegetarian restaurant!

Ill give this restaurant 3 stars for the nice interior and the decent selection of wine. Staff was very attentive as well. The food was all around mediocre. I ordered a spicy Cajun pasta alfredo. OK, its avegan restaurant but why they gave me overcooked rice noodles instead of wheat pasta baffles me. The vegan alfredo sauce frankly was terrible, and why by adding a bit of hot sauce to the dish suddenly makes it Cajun is difficult to figure out. My wifes pad Thai dish was equally bland and uninviting and my friends sushi on a bed of rice was more of the same. Not recommended.

Incredibly well done vegetarian food! We shared the cauliflower tacos, spring rolls and Thai noodle bowl and it was all FRESH AND AMAZING. The service was so good! Our server Isabel was so kind and very attentive. I can’t wait to come back for brunch and try more of the menu. The atmosphere inside was also really charming. Make sure to try their delicious selection of tea as well. I wish I would’ve had room for dessert! A must visit if you’re vegetarian and coming to Antigua Guatemala.

Every dish we tried was incredibly flavorful and delicious! The wontons, couliflour tacos and burger did not disappoint! Plus the cucumber and peppermint lemonade was the perfect refreshment! Ill definitely return.

Good is great, fast service, great prices. Ive only tried the enchiladas verdes, but I am definitely going back to try other things. When I was here, the place got full within minutes, but it is worth the wait... Staff is friendly and atmosphere is cozy. Strongly recommended
