On the rocks bar in Portimao

Very slow service, 30 minutes just to to take our order and then get a sickening cocktail. Honestly don’t waste your time and your money this place doesn’t worth it. Very rude service. Won’t recommend.

Well, my experience was: The staff completely forgot about me and my friends. We stayed one hour listening to music and occupying a table. I guess were back to the time that they serve only English or German speaker people. Not going back.

A live band was playing, very good by the way. But after an hour sitting at a table and despite having 5 people serving and regularly passing in front of me no one came to serve me and they avoided eye contact. My experience in this bar boils down to an hour listening to music while I watched countless dissatisfied customers complain and leave. A couple seat next to me half an hour later and placed an order I think theyre still waiting there without the drinks. They are extremely disorganized. Now i understand why portugal lost 67% of german tourism to spain, cheaper and much higher quality

Were here 2 times, to bring french fries took 30 mins, tacos 40 mins. Day time only one water. Maybe he also is cooking? ))

Food was awful and took over an hour for 2 ‘English breakfasts’ no hashbrowns, raw eggs and unbuttered toast! Avoid

More TVs than you can shake a stick at. Perfect for the reason we visited, to watch sport on a Saturday afternoon. Each TV showing a different sport too, to keep everyone happy. Unfortunately, it was the ubiquitous Super Bock on sale but, beggers cant be choosers. Great location too, on the cliff-top facing the sea.

Charged 3 Euros for the smallest beers!!!! Even our hotel only charges 1.5. We should have checked the drinks menu as I think the woman serving was pulling a fast one! Then she gave me my change all in coins. If she was expecting a tip, she didnt get one!

Whilst my husband was waiting to be served a number of lady customers went to the bar, the barmaid did say hello to my husband but went on to serve the ladies first, he had already been waiting over five minutes, subsequently we walked out, they need more staff

Happy hour nine till nine,great views at the back,bar service fast.but the toilets leave a lot to be desired,no toilet seats or locks on the doors,such a shame.come on get a grip management

Love this bar. Happy hour for 12 hours. And Marina is a sweetheart. The rest of the staff are lovely too. And the view is the best part. Love that beach.

One of 2 favorites along the bar, shop, and restaurant strip. Happy hour is 9 to 9. The beer is cold. There is seating inside or out. They have many screens and show a lot of sports. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Interestingly #2 is next door and run by the same owner.

Chairs are rock hard. Drinks are cheap, music is very loud, loads of Tellys for sport and the staff are nice.

If you want a poor implementation of an English sports bar and to be surrounded by cheering football proto-hooligans then go here, however if you just want to go for a relaxing drink somewhere then avoid it. Outside of sports hours during the day its actually fairly quiet and could almost redeem itself, its trying to be an English bar but thankfully the prices are significantly cheaper.

Lovely little bar on the main attractions promenade which was excellent value for money with draught beer only €2 a pint, served in proper British pint glasses

Its a very cozy bar. Very friendly staff. The only bad this is the prices are just a bit high.
