Bright, lively restaurant behind an olive-coloured facade, for regional Sardinian dishes and pizza.
Delicious little Italian restaurant offering great dishes from the country. A must visit!
We didnt have a reservation but there was a few tables free, including outside. The waiter told us that theyre fully booked but then proceeded to sit down another family who didnt have a reservation either, we questioned the waiter about it and he said they know him even though the interaction said otherwise. Very odd.
The crab pizza is AMAZING. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service
I love this place, it’s got some of the best pizza in the area
I would give them 10 stars if I could. My group and I arrived in London late on Sunday evening to find mostly everything closed. We walked in to Oliveto and asked if they could seat 7…and they did! They were so kind and gave us wonderful service even though they were probably super irritated to have a big group come in just before closing. The food was FANTASTIC, as was the atmosphere and every staff member. We loved it - probably our favorite meal of the trip.
Decent food but awful service. Very slow and inattentive.
Favorite pizza ever!! Not to mention, amazing location.
The best lobster spaghetti literally they made me make a review about it
Good pizza. Nice and friendly staff.
A strong four stars. Dropped a star due to the underwhelming service. Food was delicious though and I particularly recommend the crab linguine, chilled tomato soup and a simple spaghetti with pomodoro salsa.
I know this place is so great , We had dinner some time last year ,I tried my luck this time without reservation, unfortunately , I had no luck , I will try again .
A little italian pizzeria in the middle of Belgravia. Their pizza is one of the best I have ever had in London (spoiler! It is not for everyone to make pizza!). You can tell they use good quality products and that they know what they are doing. The service was fast, friendly and professional. Some could argue it is expensive but, I think it is totally in line for the area and the kind of service which is extremely attentive and friendly. I do regret not taking a picture of their pizza, but hey, I could not wait to taste it so the only thing I can say is: It is definitely worth a try!!!
Thank goodness for this place, providing great service and classic Italian food, done the right way! Don’t be intimidated by the white linens and stemware for lunch hour, it’s a great place to order food at a decent price. I really do miss the crab pasta!
Oliveto is probably one of the best restaurants in Central London. I can say this because every part of the experience has been perfectionised. The waiter was extremely helpful and was able to give advice and good information regarding the food available for customers. The toilets were incredibly clean, and the service was speedy. The people followed all instructions set on the reservation and in-person, and I would totally recommend this place.
We had dinner here together and the food was delicious and very fresh. We took two specials and a pizza and the wine of the month. The empty plates were a great sign. The service was friendly, prompt and accommodating for gluten free dishes. Recommended.
E Paradiso. This is the restaurant I visit very often. First of all the service is fantastic with the nicest Italiano in London and one of the best Italian cuisines you can find in London. My favorites include the spaghetti alla bottarga and crab linguine. Of course thier house wine is of a great quality. This is a place I can strongly recommend to all range of people.
Food and Service was really good. We had several pasta dishes between us and the pizza was delicious!
Me and my sister went a couple of months ago together. Food was good and the staff were nice. Thanks for a good experience!Edited: I just received a notification on my gmail to see that the owner had replied. I clicked on and saw the negative feedback. Im shocked to see these recent bad reviews from all these trolls. I heard about what happened with this woman and the unnecessary drama that she caused. I wasnt there to witness what went on, but I can never imagine the staff at this restaurant abusing anyone, physically nor verbally.
Amazing food. We had a pizza, the crab linguine and the lobster pasta. It was all excellent. Lovely service. We will be back.
As stated previously, the reviews given today (26.11.21are given by people who viewed a TikTok live, and are boycotting. A lady visited the restaurant this evening, complained continuously about how terrible the food is and was quite rude to the staff members. She then tried to leave without paying. Once she left, she tried to re-enter the restaurant and was escorted out by a customer, not staff. None of the staff touched her.I watched myself and think the staff dealt with the situation perfectly fine.
Myself and my husband was trying this place tonight for the first time whilst in town on business.. I can honestly say we will not be returning or recommending, the food took ages to arrive and the atmosphere was quite nice until we see a lovely woman who was sat alone all evening being verbally abused by the staff and then one of the staff even put their hands on her! As I stated before, we will definitely not be returning.. such a shame. 1/10.
The Drunk woman causing a disturbance in your Restaurant with foul language is always doing this when she eats out. She always complains shouts and swears so she does not have to pay.She goes by the name Chelsealeeart on TIKTOK her REAL NAME IS LEANNE MARTIN.
Great food and friendly service! Slightly expensive. So be careful with the starter which seemed to be a little overpriced. Pastas were absolutely devine. Pizzas from a distance were huge and looked great too but we havent tried them yet.
A fake Italian ,rip off tourist trap . It’s far from “Italian” and is a disgrace. Small portions at high prices and slow service. Also dangerous for pick pockets and handbag thieves. Never again.
Very rude manager. First they said we can sit, and while preparing the table, next table’s baby wake up. The father of the baby has got angry and then the manager just made his hands like “go/get away” even not talked!!! It was totally unprofessional. Will never try this place. Manager is the rudest person I’ve ever met.
Super pizzas and dessert. Its a busy family-friendly place, but the staff are never less than charming, even when rushing. Special shout out for the dessert wine recommendations!
Brilliant! We had an al fresco dinner outdoors and it was a great experience - authentic Italian food, with great tasting pizzas. Loved my 4 Stagioni! Service was friendly and professional, would go again👌🏼
This is my favourite restaurant in London. Its probably my favourite restaurant in the world. All of the pizzas are outstanding but the pizza ai funghi operates on an unassailable level. Every ingredient in every dish is somehow tastier than that (apparentlysame ingredient anywhere else. The style of cooking, as at all Mauros restaurants, is deceptively simple but masterful. The staff are lovely. After coming here for over a decade Im delighted to see they even have outdoor seating now!
I love their pizza, it is delicious and authentic. The only complaint is that the Cos lettuce salad always has so much dressing on it and it was not edible last time it was delivered. There is no way to make a comment like sauce on the side through Deliveroo. My suggestion is that the restaurant puts it on the side.
Absolutely disappointed with recent service.Went with a group of friends couple of months ago, after waiting what seems like forever we all got our food apart from one friend who had to wait another 15min!Came again a month ago, actually just passing by with kids, ordered 2 pizzas margaritas take away and waited 45min!!!! Restaurant wasnt very busy at that time. Staff always seams to be to busy to chat around instead focusing on customers. Some other day I passed by and asked the manager if they could occasionally deliver pizza home as I live 5min walk, some times Im stuck home with small kids and cant leave to pick it up myself and since they are not on deliveroo any more... he said no problem at all!Today I called and seams that I catch some other manager as he did lots of fuss abt it, but said he will deliver. One hour later when I called to ask whats happen he said he couldnt find the address!!!! Will be nice if he actually said from beginning he will not deliver!will never go there again.
Nice atmosphere. Dimly lit and sophisticated. Interior is very classy and the staff delivers top-notch service. Highly recommended for first dates if you can afford it
At first, they forgot about our order, when we asked, they did acknowledge it and apologized. When the order came, after roughly 45 minutes, one pizza was missing, I waited 10 more minutes and let them know, again, they apologized. After 2 minutes my pizza finally arrived, since it was rushed it wasnt well cooked. At this point I just wanted to eat and leave since everybody else had finished. When the bill came I was expecting a gesture of good will from them. Nothing unfortunately.Pizza is average, people are nice, service is below average considering the price.
The food enhances and keeps the Italian/Sardinian traditions alive. The staff was incredible and stayed long after their shifts to allow us and other customers to finish our dinner. Lovely atmosphere, great food, overall would highly recommend and would travel to eat here.
Normally a regular customer who finds their food to be delicious, I have been extremely disappointed in their service today. First, I called to ask if they offer take out. I was told yes. I called back in two minutes and was told I have to wait 30 mins to order. Half an hour later, I call back to place my order only to then find out that they only offer pizza as a take out option. Would have been nice to know that when I called the first time. So to the manager I spoke with, your rude tone was not appreciated and I will not be returning to dine at this establishment again.
Pizza and pastas were delicious. Panna cotta was superb, especially the tartness of the raspberry sauce combined with the creaminess of it. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Though, the tiramisu could have had stronger coffee flavour. Also, the cuttlefish starter was a little salty, but tasty sauce.
I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 20 years. Never once disappointed, great food and quiet atmosphere.
Lovely Chelsea local with an intimate atmosphere.Great house red to accimpany delicious pizza.Nice clientele and friendly service. Will definitely go back.Easy to park outside too.
Friendly and efficient service. I love a restaurant which suggest todays special. Some pastas which I never see in other Italian restaurant are on offer too. Wines are a little expensive side, but the one we had (chilled Valpolicellawas reasonable and good.
Excellent Sardinian food - among the best malloreddus I have had in London. Very convenient location, 2 blocks from Victoria Station. We found it very busy and noisy when we have been there, and the service was perhaps slightly grumpy and slow, but overall we were very satisfied.
The room itself is very uninspiring, which often can be a good sign for Italian restaraunts, but this place just turned out to be a bit of a tourist trap. The service was slow, not particularly nice and not attentive at all.The food was ok, but nothing more than that. The pizza was bland, starters were average. The crab pasta was quite good, but it better be for £20!For £110 for two including a bottle of wine, I really would expect more than this.Unfortunately will not be back.
This is the best Pizza outside of Italy best in the UK. All Italian staff who know their onions as well as being friendly and attentive. If you dont try the Truffle Pizza youre letting yourself down. Fresh black truffles from central Italy with the most beautiful fresh taste. The cheese board is also a recommendations and even includes black truffles shavings in one of the cheeses. Fine fresh ingredients, good staff and even better wine.
We all loved the restaurant on a recent visit. The atmosphere is great, the decor is warm and inviting and the staff looked after us all very well. The pizzas were definitely the tastiest we have come across!
Delicious food that tastes like it comes from another planet, that good it feels. I’ve been here a couple of times and I can state that this Italian restaurant has no compare. Staff is attentive, authentic food for a reasonable price. Already recommended it to friends.
One of the best Pizzas Ive ever had: Thin and crispy, lots of tomato sauce and a good amount of toppings (parma ham & rocket in my case). I also liked the atmosphere, the fact that it was not too loud and nice decor. It took a bit to get the bill in the end though.
Wonderful pizza, although no smaller ones for children. But they do have boxes to take it home. Rest of the food was great too. And very good value given where it is. The only negative its the service which I would put down as mixed; good from some waiters, insistent from the rest
I had an awesome pizza here. The staff was very professional and attentive, and even though we came in late and when they were about to close, they still took our order. Even though the decor isnt much, the food is really good. Would definitely go there for an Italian lunch.
Excellent pizza (hard to better in London). Its a shame the acoustic is so bright and the tables so close. It obviously doesnt always suit the staff, as the service here varies hugely from utterly charming to downright rude. Ignore that and just eat the pizza and youll love it.
I love this place. Perfectly crispy pizzas and exquisite pasta but do not attempt to try both in the same meal. Highlights include both the crab and sea urchin pastas. Those who arent regulars might be put off by the noisy atmosphere and the service which you think might have passed you by, but go with an open mind.
Unfortunately, I’d miscounted and booked for nine, and it wasn’t easy getting all of us into the narrow space. Sorry to the (slightly grumpy but still charmingmanager! Most of the table went for pizza, with one linguine and one tuna. The pizzas, when they came, were enormous…just unfortunate that the kitchen got my friends pizza wrong and didn’t bring either of us our food until everyone else had been eating for a good ten minutes. My salami and ricotta pizza was nice, if a little heavy on the tomato sauce. Portions are huge, all ingredients taste very fresh and it wasn’t that pricey for the area – £180 for lunch for 11 of us. Just a shame a few slip-ups (and a broken tilldidn’t make it a four star experience…
Absolutely my favourite pizza in the world! Its true that it is small, and it is true that the service is not always totally brilliant (busy people, and a strange hierarchy that means only 1 person can take your order or your bill), but those factors are totally outweighed by how delicious the pizzas are. They are fabulous. It is the best pizza Ive eaten in the world (and Ive lived in America and Europe), no exaggeration. I love it.
