A creative, all-vegetarian menu featuring organic ingredients, served with wine in rustic environs.
My friends hosted a surprise dinner for me last Tuesday (18 Februaryat your restaurant. I just wanted to say a really big thank you to you all for everything you did to make it a very special evening for me. We all loved your restaurant and the service and food were fantastic. Many of the group plan to come back. You made my birthday very special and I only hope that our large group did not disturb your other diners too much. We had a really great time!
I was so impressed with the food and the quality was fantastic. The owners and the waiters were so warm and welcoming we felt so looked after. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back to try the dinner menu!Side note- the smoothies are fabulous top!
We got there for late breakfast on Saturday. Great omlette, scrambled eggs and coffee. Ambience was nice and casual. Recommend a visit. Will return again for another meal.
It has been a while and it is good to see this restaurant maturing. The venue is looking nicer and the menu more extensive and varied. With popularity the personal touch and welcoming feeling seems to have gone though, the service suffering as a result. Despite helping out with glowing reviews when they started and talking at length with the owners about their origins, training, etc., we were just another two anonymous faces. Also please declare any allergies in advance or you will be literately made to feel bad on top of getting an allergic reaction to something that was not mentioned in the menu! The food is still fantastic though, so we might give it another chance.
This is quite simply the best vegetarian restaurant Ive ever been to. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and the food is beyond delicious. Cant wait to go back again.
Fabulous food. Friendly and super helpful service. A wonderful menu, and for those who are not vegetarian, you will not miss seafood or meat at all. Highly recommended!!
I really dont understand all the great reviews for this place. My food tasted bitter and horrible. What arrived didnt resemble the menu description. I couldnt eat it and left hungry. My friends food was bland. Service was ace, (which is the only reason this gets 2 stars). Decor OK.
One of my new favorites! Quite creative with their dishes. We tried the vegetarian faux de gras and were so pleasantly surprised! Love the way the cassava was used as well. Everything was delish and the prices were good too. Definitely will be back
Got treated here for my birthday in July 2019 and had no idea this place existed! The food is very different (in a good waynot your standard veggie options. The menu is seasonal so theres always new things to try. I know this as Ive recently been again (Oct 2019and was just as impressed. The staff take their time to run you through each dish. As its not easy to guess how the dish will be, and they do not rush you, contrary to my expectation. The only annoying this is they charge a deposit online for reservations. It is a busy place afterall.
After visiting this place for the second time, I could wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good brunch (although they do offer lunch and dinner). The quality and range of orders, extremely friendly staff and the simplistic design of an open kitchen. All in all, lovely experience and worth every penny.
Really tasty omelet and avocado toast. The coffee was good too and prices were surprisingly good. All in all a great breakfast place. We went on Sunday so parking was easy on the road in front.
AMAZING restaurant! Everything was delicious, so easy to find gluten free and vegan options as the team were so accommodating and such friendly staff. Even my meat eating boyfriend loved it! My new favourite restaurant!
Its not just about the cosy and friendly atmosphere. Its not just about the brilliant and ever attentive staff. Its not even just about the delicious food. Its the fact that every time my wife and I eat at Oliveira, we leave feeling like weve just experienced Art. Like watching a great piece of theatre, or a beautiful concert. What the Chef creates with flavours, is nothing short of inspired.
I took my partner to this restaurant recently for his birthday and although we had seen the good reviews, our experience totally exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect, the wonderful and original food, the really friendly and helpful service, the ambiance and the extra touches added when I told them it was my partners birthday. They even sang happy birthday with me for him! I wish I lived closer to come here often!
Their creative vegetarian food surprises you with its exotic materials and yet avoids being too strange to eat. The atmosphere is nice and has a lovely vibe. My personal favourite is their aged cheese spagetti, simple but rich in flavour.
I have been to this place with friends and family few times. They do amazing vegetarian food and have unique choices of drinks and deserts. Staff are welcoming and give you a 5 star treatment. I need to try their breakfast as I have heard raving reviews from locals. I would recommend this place to everyone..
Amazingly good restaurant local restaurant. Go with an open mind and be prepared to try things on the menu you have never heard of or considered before. It isnt just trying to do veggie versions of traditional dishes, but instead bring in different ways of preparing and cooking a whole new style of vegetarian food. Not everything works but its still a great place to try and go back to.
Lovely unusual food but what I had was tasty, healthy and sensibly priced. The service was attentive and polite. Nice decor. Overall a good experience. I look forward to returning.
Lovely vegan and veggie place. We had a delicious breakfast with fresh sour dough bread. Great coffee too. Not expensive and good service. Excellent addition to East Sheen eateries especially if you are dining out with a vegan.
Lovely food, great vegan and gluten free choices. Staff gave VERY attentive service which was on point.Atmosphere was lacking soft furnishings to absorb some of the sound. Definitely would recommend and hope to be back.
An extremely nice vegetarian experience for us: meat eaters. Very delicious freshly made food. The staff was really friendly and welcoming especially Afia, our kind waitress who answered all of our questions.Highly recommended, we will definitely come back when we’re around again.
We had the privilege of having lunch here with a party of 10 or so. It is one of the best vegan/veggie lunches I’ve had in West London. The food was unusual and delicious but what was really outstanding was the level of service here. The staff knew us by name at the end of the meal. They were attentive but also left us to enjoy our own company; a wonderful balance. The kitchen team where extremely skilled and even went as far to explain the interesting types of food we would be eating and where it was sourced from. The atmosphere is light, friendly and casual and I would highly recommend to all, regardless of whether you eat meat or vegan! Many thanks for such a wonderful lunch! We will be back!
I cant claim to have tried everything on the menu, in fact, Ive only eaten at Oliveira one time (so far). We had previously popped in for coffee when they had only just opened (the restaurant was still being built but the cafe was openand had the pleasure of speaking to the owner and his son. Thier passion for good, ethical food was not just evident, it was inspiring. When we returned after the restaurant was fully opened, what they had achieved was amazing. The food was delicious and the front of house staff were lovely. When I occasionally ride past the restaurant I see it is often busy when other restaurants on the same strip are empty, so hopefully they are making a success of it and long may they continue.
Cannot fault anything - the food was absolutely finger lickin’ good! Honestly! You should definitely go here, even if you are not a vegan/vegetarian - just go! From the handmade pasta, to the ceviche, to the breadfruit skewers; to the puddings - they were all 10 out of 10 and we both kept saying “wow” throughout the entire meal. To be honest, it was that good it was more of an experience. A mouthwatering one.Same goes with the service, excellent by all means. Very attentive and they all went the extra mile for us.I truly want this restaurant to be at the very top when it comes to food in London. We both enjoy going to restaurants and have been to about three/four a month for the last eight months and....this was the best so far. Well priced too.If there’s just anything I’d change it would be the wine glasses; the wine would have tasted even better in a more of a skinny glass if you know what I mean. And there was no mirror in the loo, but I’m really being picky now. We’d definitely be back - and I already look forward to coming back! Gobsmacked.
This is one of those many places l pass on a regular basis, but never pop in until now.I felt very welcomed as l arrived, service was very good, staff are friendly and attentive, and l was served my food very quickly.Really lovely atmosphere, great decor and very relaxed place to hang out. Definitely will pop on again.
I have been looking for a new veggie restaurant for a while which isn’t located in central London and this is the perfect spot in west London. My boyfriend and I visited in Jan 2019 and have been waiting to come back ever since! Magda gave us fantastic service and was so helpful in regards to our dietary requirements (nut allergy and preferable non dairy). She was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome and at ease as soon as we walked through the door. The food is incredible and the set up of the restaurant is very cosy and relaxed, just what we wanted! We have been looking for the right moment to enjoy another special evening and tonight is the night! We can’t wait! See you soon. X
We travelled to this place from North West London because of the good rating and us being vegetarian. We even asked the restaurant an hour before if reservations are needed and if they are open since we are coming from far. We got, and a lady rudely asked us to leave because they had a birthday party despite our requests and that we were happy to accommodate delays. This was after we had seated along with a two year infant in tow. May be the food is good, we will never know, and wouldnt want to know any longer. Even one star is a star too many for a restaurant which lacks the basic consideration of throwing out their customers, despite having an infant, and despite having other customers seated.
Had a delicious brunch at Oliveira two weeks ago. My friend introduced me and all the positive reviews are exactly right!Tonight I’m back for dinner and once again it’s been amazing! I had a Jackfruit Curry that was hands down the nicest curry I’ve ever had. The fact that it was vegan didn’t matter and shouldn’t matter.Oliveira Organic price that you don’t need meat to be delicious and the value for money is really perfectly balance. The staff are friendly and entertaining but not imposing. The atmosphere is relaxing and vibrant in equal measures.Well worth a visit, you won’t regret it! 😊
Best meal I’ve ever had at a veggie restaurant and best meal out in general in years! Such great menu choices, really good price and everything was so delicious! The staff were also really lovely, friendly and helpful. We will 100% be back! This restaurant is an absolute gem and I’m so happy we found it!
Another visit here this weekend. We had a delicious brunch followed by the lightest fluffiest pancakes Ive ever tasted.
Amazing. Been vegan just over 6 months and have been struggling to find a decent vegan brunch place. I found it today. Very yummy and well worth the stop. Sorry for the half eaten pics!Returned again, supper this time. Loved my egg free pasta STROZZAPRETI PRIMAVER a starter followed by green Jack hot. Both delicious. Very busy glad we arrived before 7.15 on a Friday night, I think they are very busy!
I had the Eggs Benedict - California style - and the eggs were excellent; free range and sourced from Cornwall. Would thoroughly recommend it and the coffee was good too.
This is a fabulous restaurant serving authentic and tasty vegetarian food. We really enjoyed our lunch including a vegetarian green curry and a trumpet mushroom dish with a peppercorn sauce. We also enjoyed some delicious smoothies made from unusual but tasty south American fruits. The owner, Emerson Amelio, took his time to explain everything to us and the rationale behind his sustainable cooking. The food is anything but boring and is colourful and unusual.Im not a vegetarian, but really enjoyed it.Id recommend Oliveira very highly.
This place is comfortable and great for a cosy night out. Even though I’m not a vegetarian, I found the menu exciting and will be back to try more of it. The food was lovely, fresh and executed in such a creative way. And the chocolate dessert was outstanding. Would definitely recommend!
Wow, what an awesome culinary experience. So hard to find a place that’s vegetarian never mind vegan. This has both. Excellent service and a personal run through the menu.Lovely family run business and it shows.Food is lovely and a lot of thought has gone into the preparation.Highly recommend it if you love food.Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Absolutely enjoyed our experience here! The creativity and passion behind the recipes is heart-warming. Make sure you try that 3-piece Açaí-Pitaya-Cupuaçu sorbet, What a highlight! Thank you so much for great hospitality and super delicious glorious food!.
Absolutely loved it! Excellent service, good portion sizes and loads of unique options to choose from. We got the bbq breadfruit starter with peanut sauce, the breadfruit curry and the ‘steak’. The chef is truly incredible, everything was flavoursome. Even my dad who is not a veggie/vegan was very impressed. We will be back 100%. Looking forward to sampling more from the menu!
Top notch non-animal food. Inventive and unusual ingredients with a Brazilian twist. Though the pasta and risotto dishes we had were great too. Expectations were exceeded and Im looking forward to a return visit.
If I could give 10 stars for this place, I would definitely do that. Exceptionally good food, menu with amazing choice of dishes, very generous portions and so reasonably priced. So warming customer service (which you can get only in family-running restaurant like that). I live locally for 10 years and tried almost every gastropub/restaurant in the area, and these guys stand out (they opened just a few months ago and you can see such a high standard they hold). Don’t be withhold by simplicity of the interior, it is like judging the book by its cover. I will definitely come back and now it is my first choice for lunching/dining.
Fantastic food and very nice atmosphere. Had lunch and it was so very tasty. I’m not vegetarian but enjoyed the food a lot. Loads to choose from, didn’t realise you could have so many choices without meat. For starters we had the grilled cauliflower and peppers (see photo Delicious.Main meal we had bread fruit curry with coconut sauce and rice sooo nice.Dessert we had creme brûlée with a Japanese twit. All very good.
This 4 months old restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The cosy and friendly atmosphere, the flavoursome and varied food from appetisers to desserts, the super polite owners who will cater to your every taste and answer all of your questions thoroughly and with a smile :))For vegans like me it has really amazing dishes I haven’t tried before, however even if you are not vegan or even vegetarian you will be pleasantly surprised! Totally recommend it - you can just feel the owners’ passion for creating authentic and delicious food suitable for everyone!
Had a lovely meal here with my boyfriend last night. Great service, lovely people, nice atmosphere and great reasonably priced food.Lovely breadfruit curry, but white spiced knocked it out of the park. Loved it so much we’ll be back on Tuesday!
Friendly owners. Informed on different ingredients. Food was delicious
Wonderful restaurant that uses fresh and seasonal ingredients - my mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the food at this restaurant, as well as the laid-back atmosphere and attentive staff (the manager is extremely passionate of her little venture! One small thing I would say is that sometimes the dishes could be over-seasoned - don’t use too much salt, let the beautiful ingredients you use shine for themselves! All the best of luck for your restaurant journey - very glad to hear this restaurant is thriving!!
So happy this place is so close to my house! Food is perfectly seasoned and clean, the venue is homely and the family who run it are warm and friendly. The kitchen is on view to the guests which is something else that appeals to me. You can see your food being made and how clean and tidy the kitchen is. Will be a regular.
Amazing food! By far the best restaurant in east sheen! I plan on returning as often as possible till I have tried the entire menu. The pierogi starter I dreamt about last night, it was that good! The staff are super friendly and the whole feel of the place is very friendly and nicely decorated.
Weve been here a couple of times for brunch - utterly delicious food! Highly recommended.
As a meat lover this vegetarian and vegan restaurant really surprised me. We went for breakfast and have been back three times now in a couple of weeks for dinner. The food is amazing. Very well made and the flavours are so interesting. The staff are awesome too. Try this place you wont regret it. I recommend the jack fruit cassoulet!
